Leo

Leo is a 8 year old Australian Shepherd in Fallbrook, CA, who needs $2,000 for X-ray, Exam, and Blood Work.

Fallbrook, CA

When my daughter was 13 my ex-husband asked if he could get her a dog for her birthday. I already had 3 dogs, a pig, cat and 13 rescue alpaca. I said "no". He got the dog anyway. The 1st night we had "Leo" my daughter came in at midnight crying. She said "Leo won't let me sleep". So, Leo has slept with me on my head since day one. He has become the love of my life. Leo is a pt of Dr Love at North Orange Vet in Fallbrook, Ca. Leo has been panting for a few months. Dr gave us an allergy shot, pain meds for possible strained ACL. We thought he was panting in pain but that is not it. He hasn't slept in almost 36 hours. The whites of his eyes are beat red! We've tried several diff meds. Doc office said we prob need x-ray. Waiting to hear back from doc office Leo is sooo special to us. Aussies are known as Velcro dogs. Leo is Definity my Velcro. I have a lot of health problems and Leo is my support dog. We just lost his pseudo mom (Ruby) 2 months ago to cancer. We lost his friend and bff (a pig, named Waddles) 4 months ago to cancer. It's just me and Leo now. We've all been through a lot. Life won't be ok without Leo. He is to young for health issues. I am in the middle of a horrible horrible nasty divorce. My ex just left me here with animals and kids, the house, etc. My house is on the market. I have NEVER been so $ strained or scared. I am begging for help. I can't watch my little Leo suffer; he can't breathe.

Fort Worth, TX

Oreo is a deeply loved companion dog who lives in a stable, safe, and nurturing home environment. She is primarily an indoor pet and is treated as a valued member of the family. Oreo has always received consistent care, attention, and affection, and her overall well-being has always been a top priority. Prior to her recent diagnosis, she was a very happy, energetic, and social dog who enjoyed movi Oreo was recently diagnosed on April 17, 2026, after I noticed a sudden and alarming change in her mobility. When I returned home, she was unable to move normally and appeared weak, particularly in her back legs. This behavior was very unusual for her, as she is typically active, alert, and eager to greet me at the door. Recognizing that something was seriously wrong, I immediately took her to an Oreo is incredibly special because of her loving, gentle nature and the joy she brings into our home every single day. She has always had a warm and affectionate personality, forming strong bonds with everyone around her. Oreo is the kind of dog who naturally senses emotions—she offers comfort when someone is having a tough day and brings happiness with her playful and sweet demeanor. Her behavior Oreo’s diagnosis has created an unexpected financial hardship for me. As someone with a low income, the cost of her emergency care, medications, and potential treatments is overwhelming and difficult to manage on my own. Support would mean everything to me—it would allow me
