My dog is a 5 year old German shepherd living with me and my girlfriend. We’ve had him ever since he was a puppy. He’s always loved playing with his ball and now due to the condition he can barely play anymore My dog randomly had a large golf ball sized lump show up overnight on his neck. Most likely to be some sort of cyst that needs to be drained per the vets I’ve spoke to. My dog is special due to the way he acts with others. He’s kind and friendly to everyone no matter how small. He’s is always willing to fill up the room with energy. I currently need assistance paying for this emergency assistance. With the way the economy is going I do not have the funds to fully pay the vet bill.

Ginger came to us when my brother was working at a puppy barn in New Jersey. She was sick as a puppy and the workers there didnt think she would make it but her resilient spirit pulled her through. Now we have already had a beautiful 12 years with her. I cannot say enough great things about my Ginger and her beautiful soul. I only want her to know i did my very best and would never give up on her Recently my dog had been examined for a mass in her rectal area. The vet said it is most likely cancerous but we cannot determine this without a biopsy. The cost will be around $600- i would have to double check with the office. The importance of this test for us is to get confirmation that it is cancer, and the type, and how we can keep her as comfortable as possible if nothing can be done Every time Ginger has visited with the vet, groomers, or people, everyone has always said how calm and gentle she is. She has a warming presence. She is very intelligent and could even be a trickster at times. She still loves to roll around in the grass at her ripe age which I find to be wonderful, it makes me smile. She has a strong will to live and has overcome a lot. I admire her strength. While this may turn out to be end of life care, I didnt want to make Ginger suffer in any way shape or form it it can be avoided. This biopsy would completely change our approach on how to care for her and keep her comfortable if it turns out to be cancer.

Hi everyone my name is ashley and this is my sweet boy Hades. Hades is a 2 year old Doberman and is the sweetest big boy ever. We adopted him in August Hades had to have emergency surgery on September 2nd due to internal blockage in his stomach. they had to create 5 incisions in his intestines to save his life. unfortunately we did not know he was already dealing with this issue once we adopted him and he got really ill suddenly. the bill ended up being a lot more than we expected. Hades is the sweetest giant ever. he loves children and other pets. He will greet you and lay his head on your leg and give you his paw to shake. he is the most handsome boy ever, he will definitely steal your heart. Me and my husband are trying our best to pay for his medical bills but they are too much, we are currently at $6,300 and can go up depending on how long they want to hospitalize him. We just want hades to heal, be happy, and get him back on his paws

Aurora was found in a field when she was only a few weeks old. We were the first family to see her when she was brought to the shelter and we fell in love instantly. I've had her since she was two months old. Two months ago, I discovered a bump on her eye. The vet sent us to the ophthalmologist and they want to freeze it off to make sure it doesn't develop into cancer. She also needs dental work due to gingivitis and we discovered a mast on her chest yesterday. We don't know for sure if that needs to be removed, but there needs to be testing to see. We go to Mohawk Alley Animal Hospital Aurora loves her human friends and spends a lot of time hiking with her dad and cuddling with me. Her favorite toy is a formerly stuffed hippo and she loves doggie spray cheese frozen in her Kong toy. We've had the best nine years together. She has moved across the country with me and been with me through so much: heartbreak, accomplishments, sickness. She can make me laugh just by looking at me Work has been slow due to renovations. I have also had surgeries, treatments, and appointments constantly for myself this summer. It has been the roughest summer of my life, but Aurora helps me through it. When I say she is my family, I mean it.

Homie is a 1-year-old part pitbull and mastiff, who has been part of our family since he was born last year. He has always been a gentle, loving companion—full of energy, tail wags, and affection for everyone he meets. He stays with our family. Tragically, on Aug 1st, 2025 Homie was struck by a car. The accident has left him with shattered shoulder and torn tendons on his left side. Right now, Homie is at home recovering while waiting for treatment, and the vets have recommended surgery to reset the shoulder as soon as possible to give him the best chance at recovery and walking again. Currently, Homie lives with me and my family in [your town/city]. We provide a safe, caring home where he enjoys playing fetch, cuddling, going on walks. HOMIE is more than a pet to us; he is family. Our children are so attached to Homie I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. Our sweet Homie was recently hit by a car and is in urgent need of medical care. The accident has left him with serious injuries, and immediate treatment is necessary to give him the chance to recover.

Hank has been a part of our lives since we first became a couple 11 years ago. While we were long distance, Abigail was gifted our sweet boy by her dad when he was just a puppy. He has been here through college, med school, multiple moves, and now residency. He’s the rock that holds us and our three other dogs and cat together (and even tolerates snuggles from foster cats and dogs alike). On 9/4, he vomited and began having terrible coughing fits. We immediately took him to urgent care, where they found he had aspirated on his vomit causing pneumonia, and also had signs of a developing obstruction from scarring from a prior bowel surgery in 2018. He is admitted to MedVet Chicago for IV fluids, antibiotics, and breathing treatments, & may need surgery for his obstruction. Anyone who knows Hank will tell you he’s special. Our sweet gentle giant loves nothing like he loves hugs, snuggles, and a good tennis ball. He carries around jumbo stuffed animals like they are his babies. He has been our emotional rock through every difficult moment, immediately sensing when you’re upset and slamming down for a full body hug. At 10, he’s never lost his puppy-like spirit. As a resident doctor, Julia works 60-80 hours a week at minimum wage. Adding the student debt we both have and lasting strains on work opportunities after graduating in 2020, this is a huge hit. Additionally, we’ve incurred more expenses as fosters rescuing Chicago’s strays.

Songyee is a Maltese/Havanese mix breed, we adopted him from CA when he was 6 months old. He currently lives with just me, turning 12 this year. Every year during the wellness exam, doctors compliment him for being very healthy for his age, except one part. We go to Centennial Bethany Animal hospital in Maryland. While getting an annual exam on the year that he turned 8, the doctor told us about how Songyee had a small heart murmur, but told us it was common in small dogs. The following year when we stopped in for another annual exam, doctor recommended us seeing a cardiologists because his murmur was getting louder each day. Songyee joined our family when he was in 6months old, his name Songyee comes from this k-drama called "my love from the star" where main female character is Song yi. He has been the family dog ever since, he is the definition of "oh our dog doesn't bite" because he actually never have. All of my family had been moved back to our country, and he has been my only family for about 2 years now. I am a self pay college student, and I been on my own for the past 3 years. He is all I have and he is my responsibility and my motivation in life. I'm going to do anything I can to help him back to his health because I know he still has at least 2-4 years ahead of him. help

Rescued Ruby from an abandoned house in Detroit along with her litter mates. She stayed with me, and have been my little baby ever since. She almost died I had to nurse her back to health and she’s been my side kick for 9 years. We live with my mom currently trying to get our own house but can’t afford it at the moment. She is at angel animal hospital in Farmington Michigan currently getting surgery I don’t think I will be able to afford:( she had a growth on her leg that the vet thought was just a skin tag, but it had a blood vessel in it because it kept growing to the point of almost bursting and needing surgery to remove it to prevent infection She is the most cuddliest dog in the whole world. She just wants to be snuggled and loved on at all times. She’s so sweet and sensitive. She wouldn’t hurt a fly. She’s just the sweetest dang thing. I currently lost my job and my boyfriend’s been trying to support all of us with one income and things have just been so hard. We are at a loss but we know that she needs this removed so I’m gonna do anything I can.

My Charlee Boy...September 2015 Charlee fell into our lap a couple of months shy of a year that my girls (daughters) lost their dad due to diabetes complications at a young age. He was gifted to us unexpectedly for help with grief. I received a call stating there was one puppy left and all the others were gone to their forever homes. Charlee would have to go to the SPCA, without a thought...YES! Charlee has had a few medical issues throughout his 10 years, one which included a slipped disc in his back. He currently has a tumor in his ear which is becoming progressively worse, he needs to have the tumor removed and tested for cancer. He currently sees Dr. Schulmeyer in Nottingham, MD. Charlee is our everything, he brings so much joy to my girls and I. He has done a phenomenal job at providing emotional support and sometimes needs emotional support himself lol. He is the most love able, cuddly fur baby ever! I've always been able to take care of Charlee's needs however my spouse and I separated causing me to file bankruptcy to afford my everyday living. I am at a lost at this moment and I really want Charlee to get the help he needs.
