I hated my life and didn't want to live anymore I was tired of being strong a friend bought my little yorkie named GRACIE for me on mother's day she changed my life in my darkest days of abuse I am a single mother with a handicap daughter and have fought my whole life my daughter and Gracie is all I have I get no help from the government no food stamps wic or nothing I'm trying to survive Gracie has mammory breast cancer she has masses and nodules all over her mammory chains and glands she is a fighter like me I will not give up on her she has already had 1 surgery and removed one whole side she had her 2nd surgery today he removed 14 more masses and nodules she will need meds checkups and ongoing treatments to give her a fighting chance she will continue having surgeries Gracie is not just my dog she saved me she's so full of life and makes me laugh which I never did she has little greets she does she is so special to me and my daughter she is my handicap daughters therapy dog Gracie will howl if she senses something wrong she sleeps with me and my daughter and always has her little paw on my daughters heart while she sleeps I named her Gracie but I call her Grace I am a single mother with a handicap daughter no friends or family or help from the government in any way I have never needed help or asked for help in my life until now it would mean more to me than my own life for Gracie to get the treatment she needs I owe the vet

Noel

Noel is a 15 year old Maltese in Lexington, KY, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removal.

Noel is a small, scruffy pup—probably a Maltese mix, We don’t know her age, she’s in her mid to late teens. We met Noel on Christmas 4 years ago. She ran in front of my car and laid down, and I scooped her up. She was in rough shape: long matted fur, fleas, worms, and missing teeth. We tried unsuccessfully to find her family. Instead of giving her up to a shelter, we decided to take care of her. Noel has multiple mammary tumors, and one has ruptured. We’ve tried to manage her condition with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, but now the situation is urgent. The vet recommends surgery to remove the ruptured tumor at a minimum. This will cost around $2k If we’re able to raise $4k, we can also pursue diagnostics and removal of the additional large tumors that may rupture in the future. We named her Noel because she was a Christmas gift we didn’t know we needed, and I am grateful for her every day. She has brought so much love into our lives the last few years. She is a friendly and playful girl, and loves cuddles. She didn’t have the best beginning, but she’s had a life full of love with us—and I’m not ready for that to end just yet. Over the past year, we’ve been doing everything we can for Noel. We’ve paid for vet visits, meds, and a $150 emergency hospital visit when the tumor ruptured. We’ve tried to stay on top of her care despite limited finances. I am a former teacher and my partner is a veteran.

On Christmas Eve my 18yr old son came home and said “Merry Christmas Family” and presented us with Hazel. At the time a; Mth old puppy. Although it was a lot to take in we love her very much and she is a part 7 of our family. Hazel is an inside dog who goes outside in the yard to run and stretch her legs. On Mother’s Day she was outside and spotted my son across the street. She then jumped into the street to greet him but instead was struck by a passing by car. Hazel loves to cuddle, destroys all her toys except for one her squeaky duck. She loves chicken and rice and her chicken apple treats. She is a super energetic 9 mth puppy Fortunately her accident was not grave but it did catch her back hind leg and she has a severe open wound that requires sutures. Lilith and I have come a long way together and we're not done by any means. I was only supposed to dogsit for a month or two. A couple years later there was no way I was going to let her go. I still can't, I refuse. I noticed Lilith had swollen joints when she went after two doe a couple months ago. She had to have ran until she dropped. She was gone for over six hours and I thought she pushed herself too hard. She has shown excessive panting, pale gums and lameness the past month. I'm almost sure she has a tick-borne illness. I have never seen her this depressed and down. I want to take her to Medvet Akron. Lilith is different. She marches to the beat of her own drum. She is brave and has protected me when she didn't have to. Sometimes I almost think she knows what I'll do before I do it. She was homeless with me and did exactly what she needed to do. She watched over me. She kept me moving forward. Lilith is a Panda Shepherd which adds to her mystique. This is one special dog. My partner in crime. This past year has been the hardest year of our lives. One bad thing after another. Some my doing, some just the universe testing our strength, I guess. I need her. I truly need this beautiful girl. Without her, I'm finished. I know I'm supposed to see her live a full life.

Buddy

Buddy is a 7 year old Australian Cattle Dog in waverly, TN, who needs $1,500 for Hip Dislocation Surgery.

We have had Buddy since he was a puppy. He came to us small enough to fit into your hand and has grown and moved with us through the years. 7 years, 3 homes and an extra child later and he is still an integral part of our family. Last weekend Buddy was hit by a vehicle overnight. We took him in to our vet the next morning where they x-rayed and discovered his hip to be dislocated. They kept him over the weekend hoping to reset his joint. His hip did not stay in place and we were told he would need surgery to repair it. The weekend trip cost us nearly $800 and another $1500 is not possible with our income. One of his most endearing traits is "his babies". Buddy has taken to "adopting" my children's stuffed animals. But he will not destroy them. He will carry them around and love on them, show them off to visitors and snuggle them. At any given point you can find 1/2 a dozen of "his babies" in the yard, the house, under his bed. Some he has had and kept for 5+ years. He loves his babies. We are a family of 4 living off a Teacher's salary. We have very little opportunity to put money back for emergencies or savings. Right now we are faced with knowing our family's best friend is in constant pain and not beings able to help him.

Raya was a birthday gift and joined my family at 15 weeks old. When I went to pick her up, she walked over, sat down, and stuck her paw out—like she chose me. She lives with me, my three kids, and our other dogs, Zoey and Meadow. Raya has protected me through experiences of domestic violence and has become my loyal, loving guardian. Raya was shot and rushed to Scissortail Veterinary Specialists. She has a shattered femur and needs emergency surgery to save her leg. This is not a chronic condition—it’s a traumatic injury requiring urgent treatment. We’re doing everything we can to help her recover, but the cost of surgery is more than we can afford on our own. Raya is the heart of our home. She loves playing fetch but always tries to steal the ball from her sisters just for fun. She’s incredibly patient and lets our younger dog, Meadow, play rough with her without getting upset. She’s gentle with the kids, loyal to the core, and her playful, loving nature brings so much joy and laughter to our family every day. I’m a single mom of three and this was an unexpected emergency with no time to prepare financially. Raya’s surgery is urgent, and I just don’t have the means to cover it right now. Getting her healthy again would mean everything to our family.

I've had my baby Bo for 8 years. I used to have his parents they were both rescues. I helped his mom birth him and I've had him ever since. I named him after my husband's favorite uncle who was murdered when he was a child. This dog has got me through so many rough spots in my life. The death of my brother and my mother in law. He is my everything and I don't know what I will do if I lose him. He wasn't eating for a couple days but was still drinking water. After he had a seizure we took him to the vet and found out he has a GI blockage which was causing all his symptoms. He has to have surgery ASAP to remove the blockage or he will die. If he does not have this surgery soon he will not make it. I am taking him to Cottonwood Small Animal Clinic in Cottonwood CA. Bo is a big old sweet baby. He's goofy and playful and constantly wants all the pets. He loves to give kisses and cuddles. His best friend is my sweet 12 yeard old chihuahua pomeranian named Sophie. He loves to meet new people and to go hiking, camping, and exploring with us. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his sweet face and personality. I just recently got a house given to me by my mom who was going through cancer so currently I am living pay check to paycheck. I used what I had left for care credit and all my savings to take him to the emergency vet on a Sat to get him help after he had a seizure.

Molly came into my life to help give me a buddy when I moved into my first home. We have been through a lot learned puppy life fast. She is the best adventure buddy. We go everywhere together. We use to live in apartments but have moved in with my parents trying to safe up for a home again and for her surgery. Also to have support for caring for her through the surgery too. This is Mollys second surgery for luxating patella. She had one leg done at 1 years old now she is having the other leg done along with ACL repair. Other than the surgeries she is a very healthy and happy dog. She will be going to pet authority hospital to have surgery. I could go on forever for this. She is the move loving dog, my go to adventure buddy and always full of the most outgoing personality. She loves anyone that will give her attention and if you don’t she will make sure you know she’s there. She loves to play and her favorite is to be outside. She will collect sticks as if I don’t buy her enough toys to play with but enjoys every part of life. when she had surgery the first time it majorly drained me. I am trying to save to keep a home for us and pay for this surgery. Having any help would be greatly appreciated help provide less stress through this journey and help keep a home for us. Muncy came into my life a little over a year ago when my friends dogs had puppies. I envisioned Muncy growing up and becoming a service dog for my 10-year-old nephew who is on the autism spectrum. It is just me alone and Muncy, as I’ve been working to train him to achieving that goal. Muncy suddenly started collapsing a little over a week ago, and the onset was so sudden based on him just about to be turning one. A regular golden retriever always has high puppy energy, his sudden collapsing, and failure to come to startled me and we rushed to the VCA ChatOak here in the San Fernando Valley, which we were then quickly referred to an animal specialty hospital. Muncy is a sweetheart, and the moment we brought him home, we all fell in love with him. My nephew and him immediately created a one-of-a-kind bond that I know is meant for a lifetime. Muncy always make sure to cuddle with you if you’re feeling sad and provides so much comfort. He fills our home with such happiness. This sudden onset of collapsing has become an unexpected and overwhelm financial situation. Helping Muncy bounce back to his normal playful self will give us all the second chance at Hope and happiness that we’ve never felt before Muncy. 🫶🏻🐾💙🥺
