Melina was found under my car on my driveway almost 7 years ago as a tiny kitten. There was no momma cat or kitten siblings anywhere. Her cute little face was covered in snot. I picked her up and gave her a warm bath. I fell in love with her, got her spayed, vaccinated and chipped, and she became part of our family of humans and pets, including revolving foster kittens we rescue and place in homes I noticed Melina wasn't being herself and didn't have much appetite. I took her to an after-hours clinic where she was given subcutaneous fluids, and the next morning to her regular vet, where I was recommended to take her to an urgent care. I went to Kinder4Rescue, where after diagnostics I was told she was diabetic. I was then referred to Eagle Rock Animal Emergency, where she is hospitalized. Melina is feisty and spunky. She likes to chase her cat brother. She'll ignore you when she needs her space, but comes cuddle with you on her terms. She loves to fetch bead necklaces. She loves her human brother and sister. She loves to sleep on my back when I'm laying down and hold me hostage. Melina was once an aspiring model who placed high on a pet photo contest and has her own Instagram page. I'm on a single-income household supporting my kids who are finishing college and starting their careers. I rescue and foster community kittens and get them ready for adoption out-of-pocket. I had unexpected car expenses recently, and Melina's vet bills are adding up.

We acquired Mike from a Himalayan cat pet breeder in Pennsylvania 12.5 years ago. My boss's name at that time was Mike Ball, and this little tiny creature looks just like a little white furry ball of joy. Hence, the name was chosen for him! Mike's left eye had succumbed to an incurable virus and is now blind, swollen, and infected, and has to be surgically removed at Veterinary Referral Associates. Mike is pure joy to be around, even though he is often mischievous, but that is also what makes him so adorable. He has an admirable quality: he feels his favorite family members' frustrations and offers his love at such times. In our family, there is only one breadwinner currently, and we are putting our youngest son through the first year of university. Mike is our emotional support.

My baby boy Nemo was seen at the VCA Animal Hospital in Aurora, IL and VEG in Oakbrook, IL. There, he was diagnosed with IVDD-Intervertebral Disc Disease — with sudden paralysis. He was jumping and playing just fine 2 nights before then, but declined rapidly after leaving the hospital. We can’t afford his medication or his spine surgery right now which is ranging from $15,000-$17,500. Nemo is the sweetest, most energetic, funniest pup that you would ever meet. After adopting a male and female pit bull (at separate times) these two fell in love and had babies. When the mother (Nala) was ready to give birth, I was home alone and proceeded to follow each step just as I’d researched. Since that day, these puppies, which includes Stewart, have become a focal point in my life. My poor baby has a foreign object in his intestines, and requires surgery to have it safely removed. I have called nearly every vet in my city, as well as in nearby cities, and most only accept CareCredit or ScratchPay as far as loan or financing options, which I have been declined by all. I am desperate for funding, low cost clinics, or any help I can get to help my baby feel better. Stewart is special because he raised me more than I can say I raised him. From the responsibility these guys have instilled in me, to growing my capacity to love and care for creatures and even humans. Although I hate claiming favorites, I’m always most excited to hear Stewart’s howl when I get home. He’s the only one of our pack who sings along and talks back to me for our fake arguments (Howls). I am a college student who graduates in May, and although my parents are extremely financially supportive, they are unable to help me pay for this surgery at the time. I am completely devastated over the weak state that Stewart is in, and am even willing to surrender him.

Luna

Luna is a 22 month old American Shorthair in West Orange , NJ, who needs $2,278 for Tail Amputation.

Our cat came to us as a rescue, discovered as a kitten during a pet festival. There were other cats, but Luna immediately caught my attention. I had long had the name in mind. I thought Luna was perfect. I fell in love when she first came up to me and cuddled. Everyday, she would come and lie down next to me. We are BFFs and we have an inseparable bond. She is a cuddly, expressive, and loving cat. A while ago, our cat was bitten on the tail by an animal. Even after giving medicine, the infection worsened. She started sleeping in her litter box, and was very inactive. After taking her to the vet again she was diagnosed with septic shock. It’s life-threatening, caused by severe infection, leading to low blood pressure, organ failure and circulatory abnormalities. If not treated, she could die Luna is very special to us. She loves being around people and cuddles with them. She asks for pets nicely and will stick around, following you from room to room. She does not get into much trouble like other cats. Luna is a very special cat that no other cat can never replace. It will mean so much to me if Luna was healthy again. I would be forever grateful to those that helped Luna retrieve her health back. We cannot afford the medical bills, and I would love to have my cat close beside me. It matters every moment I spend with her.

Kassidy found Trixie on the Denver streets. Trixie has spent the last year building her weight back, socializing with friends, and going for leashed walks outside. She shares the space with another cat named Kit, who she is growing closer with. Kassidy is currently a grad student, renting her apartment, and is hardly earning income right now due to her school schedule. Trixie is currently at Edgewater Urgent Care in Denver with appendicitis. She had been sent home the other day, but because the situation wasn’t improving, she is back in hospital with an accumulating bill of necessary treatments and medications. She needs a plasma transfusion and a few medications to improve her current situation. Trixie is the most friendly cat any of Kassidy’s friends have met. It’s the reason Kassidy was able to easily bring her to home when she was such a skinny stray. She will lay with any person, even if they’re a stranger who just walked through the door. She loves to go on leashed walks through the park, play with her string toys, and relax with her humans no matter the location. Graduate school is already stressful. To suddenly be dealing with this, has left Kassidy devastated by the stress and dread of potentially not providing the care her baby needs due to financial limitations.

i found goose outside as a stray along with his brother pumpkin so i took them in and cared for them the best i could. i got the name goose because when he would meow it reminded me of a goose. as he got older hes just been a super silly cat and he brings me so much happiness because i was able to gain his trust and have such a loving cat he has had no medical history until he started vomiting a lot and i took him to the er for them to give him a shot to get him to stop throwing up. they then told me if he threw up in the next 24 hours while still on the shot then he needed to come back. unfortunately he did throw up twice 12 hours later so we took him back to find out he has a blockage and a obstruction in his intestines he is special because hes always so loving when i come home and runs up to me and i will stretch his upper body because i taught him how to do it and he loves it. he will often sleep with me in my bed or in his cat bed which is a pineapple. he has learned on his own how to get my curtain to open so he can get up there to sit and watch outside i am only 18 years old with a minimum wage job and his surgery is estimated to be around $4000 and i will not make that money in time to save him and all i want is to see him healthy again and see him run around and bouncing off the walls at 2am waking me up

He first lived with my aunt but could not adjust to outdoor life and was unsafe. My dad adopted him, and since then he has lived indoors with me and my other cat, Sassy. He has been evaluated by a vet and urgently needs tooth extractions to treat his stomatitis. Toby developed stomatitis as a kitten He was energetic and loved eating kibble, but the pain has taken a toll. He paws at his mouth and drools, causing matted fur on his chest. he doesn't seem like himself always laying down instead of playing.He has been evaluated by Carver Street Animal Hospital, and urgently needs tooth extractions to relieve his pain. Toby is the most sweetest cat ever he has never bitten or scratched anyone he's very intelligent he almost like a golden retriever he listens and has wild side to him he's a very jealous cat he always wants love and attention I'm convinced that I will never find another cat like him he's my best friend ad I don't want to lose him or see him in pain I want to provide him the best life possible. Even though my dad brought Toby into our family, he will not help with expenses. My mother, a janitor, has been covering food and vet care. I am a student without income. Toby is having a flare ups and urgently needs tooth extractions so he can be healthy and pain free.

Toussant started her life as a stray. She, through incredible circumstances landed with me last year. I had just moved in to a new apartment and was not expecting to be taking care of a new kitty. But fate brought us together and I love her very much Toussaint’s Emergency Veterinary Care Fund Toussaint is an incredible 3-year-old kitty who was taken to the emergency room on Saturday after suddenly becoming very ill. She has been hospitalized since then and is receiving round-the-clock intensive care from specialists, which is quite costly. She is now at UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital Last year I broke my ankle and was on bed rest for over a month. Toussant came and laid right on my broken ankle and purred all night. She was healing me. Please help me heal her. I’m on fixed income and because of the critical care Toussant needed her veterinary bills are very high. Your help covering the costs of her care would mean the world.
