Punk

Punk is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Morehouse, MO, who needs $2,080 for Exploratory Laparotomy with Enterotomy.

Morehouse, MO

Punk needs emergency surgery, and we need help. He’s not just our dog — he’s our family. After an emergency vet visit, we were told Punk needs surgery, and the cost is around $2,000, which we can’t afford on our own. We’re doing everything we can to save him, but we can’t do it without help. If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it truly makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing th Why Punk Deserves This Chance Punk’s life didn’t start with love. He was the last puppy left in his litter, mistreated, picked on, and even given street drugs for laughs. But when he finally reached his forever home, he became the most grateful, gentle, loving soul — the kind of dog who never stops showing affection because he knows what it’s like to go without it. Since then, Punk has been deeply Punk isn’t just a pet — he is my husband’s emotional support dog, his constant companion, and his anchor. He is loyal beyond words. Punk isn’t food-driven or reward-driven — he’s Ricky-driven. No matter what Ricky says, Punk listens. No matter where Ricky goes, Punk follows. Their bond isn’t something you train — it’s something you witness. They share the kind of friendship you only see in movies. Our family is already in a deep financial crisis because we recently lost our home in a house fire. In one moment, everything changed — our belongings, our stability, our sense of safety were gone. We’re still trying to rebuild our lives from that loss, and every dollar we h

Rhea

Rhea is a 11 year old Labrador Retriever in Clayton, NC, who needs $2,645 for Excisional Biopsy with Histopathology.

Clayton, NC

I've had Rhea almost 12 years. I was searching for a new service dog prospect and Rhea became everything I hoped for plus so much more! Each of my service dogs has been named after a God or Goddess from mythology and Rhea lives up to hers with a playful, protective, comforting, and motherly personality. She is the same age as my daughter, so they grew up together and share a beautiful bond. In late summer of 2025 I noticed a lump on Rheas stomach the size of a large marble. The vet was comfortable monitoring it at that time. It has since grown to the size of a baseball, started weeping, and now is ulcerated and infected. It needs to be removed and sent for testing asap along with other tumors that are growing around the same area and at the same rate as the original one. Rhea is a friend to everyone she meets and seems to intuitively understand what they each need. She is my service dog. A gentle guardian, emotional support and "big sis" to my daughter. My other younger dogs best friend, playmate, and role model. Comfort and encouragement for people and for animals of all species who visit for training, fostering, or pet sitting. My health changed and impacted me working for several months. That led to spending emergency funds on bills and still ultimately losing my house. I moved into a camper with my dogs plus fosters. The fosters have been adopted and I am still getting back on my feet.

Papi

Papi is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Weaverville, NC, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removal/Possible Amputation.

Weaverville, NC

My orange tabby lives with me, my 1- and 4-year-old, and our pit bull. Indoor/outdoor, but with his growth he stays on the porch or right by the grass. I got him at 8 weeks; his funny name fits. He’s always protected my kids and sleeps curled on my chest. He bosses the dog but they cuddle, and he makes biscuits. Sweet, loyal, and more dog-like than cat—he even takes walks with us. He has a rapidly growing, baseball-sized purple mass with a lumpy surface. The tissue can’t keep up, causing central ulceration with an open hole. It bleeds when bumped and keeps enlarging. A vet last year hadn’t seen this before and feared removal due to not enough skin to close. He has a second-opinion and surgical estimate at Broad River Animal Hospital on Feb 16. Papi is an affectionate, protective cat who’s deeply bonded to my family. He’s gentle with my young kids, sleeps curled on my chest, and brings comfort and support. Confident and playful, he “bosses” our pit bull, yet they cuddle and he kneads on him. He follows us on walks, stays close outdoors, and his loyal, dog-like ways make him feel like a little guardian in our home. I’m a single mom on a small fixed income, doing my best for my kids and pets, but a bill of thousands is beyond me. It breaks my heart—I don’t want to neglect him or watch him suffer. He’s family, and I’m trying so hard to find a way to get him the care he needs.

Scooter

Scooter is a 7 month old Mix-Breed in Smeaton, SK, who needs $4,524 for Bilateral Cataract Surgery.

Smeaton

Scooter is a resilient 7-month-old kitten we adopted 3 weeks ago. We knew he was blind from cataracts, but his spirit blew us away. He navigates by feeling his way around furniture and other pets, often bumping into walls. Despite his world being dark, he is a brave explorer who has quickly become a beloved member of our household, bringing so much joy to our daily lives. During his neuter, we found Scooter has Type 1 Diabetes and severe eye pressure (IOP 88/38). He now needs daily insulin and 5x daily eye drops. Specialists recommend surgery to remove the cataracts and restore his sight. The Western College of Veterinary Medicine estimate is $6,158.45, plus ongoing costs for his diabetic care and follow-ups. Scooter is a fighter who loves life! Since starting treatment, he’s become a playful "snuggle bug" who loves climbing his tower and chasing tennis balls he can hear and feel. Even when he was in pain before his diagnosis, he never stopped being friendly. He is a resilient, cuddly soul who uses his paws to "see" the world, and we want him to finally be able to see the family that loves him. As new owners, the $6k+ surgery cost on top of lifelong diabetic care is a massive hurdle. This surgery would change everything—removing his pain and letting him finally see the world clearly. It would mean he can run and jump without fear. Thank you for helping our boy!

Gessi

Gessi is a 1 year old American Shorthair in Shoreview, MN, who needs $1,300 for Partial Caudectomy.

Shoreview, MN

Gessi is a 1.5-year-old male short-haired cat. I’ve had him since he was only a few weeks old—he came from a family of stray cats, and a friend brought him to me so he could have a safe home. He is an indoor-only cat and currently lives with me in my house in Shoreview. Gessi always has more than enough food and fresh water, and he’s grown into a pretty big, muscular cat. Gessi has an ongoing injury on the tip of his tail. Since he was a kitten, his long tail has occasionally gotten caught in doors or been accidentally stepped on, which caused swelling at the tip. He now bites/chews at it, making it scab and reopen. It hasn’t become infected yet, but the vet said because he won’t leave it alone, it’s likely to eventually get infected, so they recommend removing it. Gessi is the life of the party at my house, he's very friendly and playful, he has a bestfriend sushi (other cat) that loves and plays with him all the time, he's not your typical cat as cliche as that sound, he has behaviors that'll crack you up! (See Video) Overall hes just a fun time to be around and with his injury he's been down in the dumps especially having to always wear a cone. I recently lost my job in the summer at a school, they shut down due to low number of students attending, so Ive left the education field and began indepently doing consulting, its beenn good enough just to pay bills and provide for my pets but not enough for surgery.
