Our puppy, Sky, came into our lives on November 28th, 2024, at the age of 9 weeks. We drove three hours to bring our baby girl home. We chose the name Sky because of her deep blue eyes. From day one, she has been the missing piece to our family, transforming us from a family of three into a family of four. Sky is playful and full of life, delighting both her furry friends and our human friends. About four days ago, after receiving her booster shots, we decided to get some blood work done to ensure everything was okay. Unfortunately, the results indicated that she might need surgery. Sky has mild liver damage and requires a shunt. Before proceeding to the next step, an ultrasound is required for further investigation. Sky's favorite toys are Mr. Butter and Mrs. Ketchup. They make satisfying crinkling sounds. Sometimes she switches it up and cuddles her giraffe stuffy that smells like her momma when we first got her. We were not expecting to find this out, and we hope to get help to save our beloved pet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am currently in college and aim to graduate in 2026, but the financial pressure of possible surgery is overwhelming.

Luna

Luna is a 8 year old Siberian Husky in Homestead, FL, who needs $2,000 for Ciliary Body Ablation.

Luna was found roaming the streets of a nearby neighborhood with a rope around her neck. A friend called me and my husband and I inmediatelly went to her rescue. We eventually scanned her chip and found her owner who stated he had given her away 3 months before and couldn't take her back. We decided to foster her for the time being until we found her a home. While fostering Luna we soon realized there was something off about her left eye and once we had her checked she received a Glaucoma diagnosis. Her medical treatments now made her harder to find her a home so we have kept her for 2 years but in the past 2 weeks we have been told she has lost vision on her left eye despite all the treatments and her option is surgery. Luna is very shy as a result of her past traumas but is very loving. Our daughter with ADHD has grown to love her and is very calm around her. Luna has become a part of our family despite the huge financia strain her treatment has cost us but surgery is just way out of our reach with a cost of $2,384.00. We live on a fixed income as only my husband works since I have medical conditions that prevent me from working and also have to homeschool our daughter since the regular school system was a horrible fit for her.

Kotten

Kotten is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in San jose, CA, who needs $2,000 for X-ray and Medication.

Put simply, Kotten chose us. Him and his siblings were being shown to a group and my mom so happens to be there. Everyone wanted him because he was the fluffiest but he ignored everyone and ran straight up to my mom. That day he went home with us and he’s been with us for 12 years. He's never left my side. He’s been sick a couple times in his life but this is the first major accident he’s had. He was born with long spine so this could’ve happened at any point in his life but now that’s he’s older he’s more fragile. He was scared one day, jumped, and hit part of his spine causing a disk to slip, making him paralyzed from the waste down. He’s the smartest, most lovable dog I’ve ever had. As crazy as it sounds he is registered as an emotional support animal and is my number one comforter. He’s very emotionally aware, every time I cry or even seem upset he knows and he will lay his head in your lap. Even with his old age he still acts like the biggest baby. We have a very strict income with no rainy day fund. This was an heartbreaking unexpected paralyzation but could possibly be treated. We won’t know for sure if we can’t afford it. He’s our first and only family dog it would mean the world to see him run again.

This is Margot, we started fostering her at the very beginning of 2024 and decided we couldn’t let her go later on that year. She’s deaf and has starburst eyes due to unethical breeders breeding 2 Merle’s together. She’s the smartest puppy I’ve ever met and learned sign language within a few days! She knows come, sit, lay and paw all with signs we made for her to use. Margot suddenly starting puking today and it quickly turned to blood! We got her an urgent appointment at our vet and after many tests they determined it’s from rat poisoning! We don’t use that since it’s #1 inhumane and #2 the risks of secondary poisoning so the vet said an animal likely died in our yard from it and margot must have gotten that animal. Margot is the sweetest girl, her best friend is Percy and she is always so good with our foster puppies and shows them the ropes. She loves people and getting attention. We just brought our foster cat (who is EIGHTEEN years old!) to the vet on Monday for testing so we were not prepared for an emergency happening to another one of our babies:(

I live at home with mommy, daddy, Justin, jess, Archer, waffles, and blaze. They all love me very much. Then there are my girls, Faith and Hope. We have been together since I was a puppy. I need a tplo surgery. I ruptured my cranial cruciate ligament. In people terms that means I tore my acl. I love to help mommy with her hemiplegic migraines. I helped hope when she was hurt. I also help jess recover from back surgery. I have a strong bond with all my humans. I love playing with my brother Archer. And I love my feather friend blaze, and fury friend waffles. Those that know my family know that the last few years have been extremely hard. Losing son/brother/ uncle Doug. The van, and now Jess' car. We would greatly appreciate the support given to us. Jax deserves to walk pain free again!

Charlie was adopted from a rescue who was not helping him. They were just putting him on medication that was actually bad for his a kidneys. He is a loving and sweet boy. We adopted him about 2 months ago. We love him, but his pain is getting to be too much for him and he's hurting. The vet quoted us $6,000 to do the ACL surgery. I'm a teacher and we can't afford this on our own He adopted Charlie from a rescue. He is a sweet boy. We were told that when he was with his last owners that he got out and came back injured. But they weren't doing anything to really help him with it and weren't planning on it. I fell in love with him. He has a torn ACL along with hip dysplasia. At this time, we are mostly concerned about the torn ACL because of him being in pain. Charlie is such a sweet boy. Even though he hasn't gotten the best luck in life. He is working on his behaviors and his socialization. But the pain from his leg causes a lot of issues for him and for him to socialize and learn. We love him a lot. He gets along with our other dogs and our cats. Sadly, if we can't find a way to afford to help him, we might have to take him back to the rescue. It'll give Charlie a fighting chance at a happy life with people who care about him and he cares about. In return. It'll give him that chance and opportunity to have a loving family in a safe environment, with people who want to help him.

I Saved Luna from a young men she was at an abandoned house and while on my daily walk she ran up to me and I know she was not in a good place due to circumstances and seeing what I saw so I ask the young man if I could have her and he said yes but not free so I paid him $200 for Miss Luna Baby I was gone out of town and when I got home just yesterday I noticed she's limping and it's like her right back leg is kinda dangling and it's a swollen I ask the people I live with what happen and they all seems they don't know,I cant afford a vet right at the moment,Tieton Drive Animal Clinic in Yakima,wa She a very good and quiet dog she used to love running around with my two boys and me and play in are yard we used to live in the country so we had a big yard,she is very protective of us and is a very special part of are family I currently moved due to losing a my job and had to move with some family,I'm really tight on money until I get my next job and the little I do have goes to my kids for the daily basic needs so we are barely getting buy.

We got Pablo in 2020, during the height of COVID, because we were required to stay home and thought it would be the best time. We currently live with family and he loves to play in the big backyard with his brother and cousins. We already have one dog, whose name is Boo, and thought he could use a brother. The moment we saw Pablo, we fell in love. He’s the baby of our tiny family. Starting in April of 2024 Pablo started showing signs of what we now think is a disc issue in his back. We took him to his normal vet, Coastal Animal Clinic, in February 2025 because he started dragging his back legs, panting heavily, and pacing. After some tests, they referred us to SCAN in Clearwater as they stated he was showing signs of a neurological problem and said we shouldn’t wait. Pablo is 1/2 of our whole heart. He has such a loving personality, and anyone that sees him automatically falls in love with him. He loves to play with his brother and cousins, both human and pups! He will demand you pet him by putting his whole body on your face or nudging your hands repeatedly. He is a snuggler and will ball up right by your head to sleep. He loves his cheeseburgers and parks. We’re attempting to treat him with pain medicine/muscle relaxers but Dr. Lind at SCAN suggested an MRI, possibly, surgery. The total cost would be $10,000. We’ve already exhausted our savings and care credit to treat him currently. We will continue to save but any bit helps.

Loretta is a 11 year old Boston Terrier in Vinton, VA, who needs $2,000 for Gunderson Flap.

Loretta has been with me as a puppy, given to me when I was dying of cancer, she gave me the will to live. Well, I LIVED! She's comforted me when I was crying, in pain and totally lost. We live in a small home with my husband who has Parkinson's. We are old and need her so much. We're on social security and have just enough to sustain our lives. We are ashamed to beg, but will for her. Loretta has a debilitating eye disease. Corneal epithelial degeneration. She has already lost the vision in one eye through misdiagnosis. Her right eye vision is going to be gone soon. We finally had enough money to take her to VA Tech small animal ophthalmologists. They can perform a gundersen flap for three thousand dollars. It will stop the awful pain her cornea is under immense pressure. Loretta consoled me with my cancer. She plays ball with my husband who has Parkinson's. It helps him and her as well. The only hope to save her sight is the gundersen flap. If she can't see, she can't play fetch, which helps my disabled husband shaking and helps her too. Not only will she lose her sight, but the pressure will build and her eye will be extremely painful. We can't let her suffer. We are retired and on social security. Our house is old too. Between furnace failures, water heater, car repairs and more, we can afford to live and little else. We don't ask for help for us, only Loretta. We can't let her suffer after all she does for us.
