Buddy

Buddy is a 7 year old German Shepherd Dog in Fordyce, AR, who needs $2,000 for Possible Toe Amputation.

Fordyce, AR

Buddy is a 7-year-old German Shepherd who means the world to my dad. My dad is a disabled police officer living on a fixed income, and Buddy is more than just a pet—he is family, a companion, and a source of daily support. They live out in the country on our family’s land, with hundreds of acres and no close neighbors. Buddy is extremely well-trained and well-behaved, so when he didn’t come home one morning, my dad immediately knew something was wrong. Buddy never wanders off. For over 24 hours, our entire family searched nonstop, fearing the worst. When my dad finally found him, our hearts sank. Buddy had been trapped, his front paw caught in a small game trap that was found on our property—one that should not have been there. We are still trying to figure out who placed it there and why. Buddy had been stuck and injured, waiting helplessly until my dad found him. At first, Buddy was exhausted but eating, drinking, and trying to walk. Now, several days later, his paw is swollen, and he no longer wants to put weight on it. Two of his toes appear to be injured and possibly broken, and he needs veterinary care to prevent further pain or long-term damage. My dad depends on Buddy more than most people realize. After breaking his back in the line of duty, my dad also lost hearing in his left ear. Buddy helps him every day by alerting him to sounds and giving him peace of mind—especially living out in the country. Beyond that, Buddy is my dad’s constant companion and emotional support. While the vet bills may not be astronomical, any unexpected expense is overwhelming when you live on a fixed income. My dad is the kind of person who would go without food or necessities himself before ever denying his dog the care he needs—but he shouldn’t have to make that choice. We are asking for help to cover Buddy’s veterinary expenses so he can heal, stay comfortable, and continue being by my dad’s side where he belongs. Any amount helps, and we are incredibly grateful for your kindness, support, and prayers. Thank you for helping Buddy and my dad during this difficult time. ❤️

Ravioli

Ravioli is a 9 year old American Shorthair in Lynnwood, WA, who needs $3,500 for Emergency Care for Possible Intestinal Blockage.

Lynnwood, WA

Hello, my name is Ayanna, and I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart on behalf of my cat, Ravioli. Ravioli came into my life during one of the hardest periods I’ve ever been through. My mom brought her home for me when I was struggling deeply, and from the moment she arrived, she became my comfort. She wasn’t just a pet. She was something steady to hold onto when everything else felt uncertain. She slept beside me, followed me from room to room, and somehow always knew when I needed her most. She also has a sister, Tissue, and the two of them have grown up together. They play, nap, and curl up side by side every day. Watching them together has always been a source of warmth and grounding for me, especially during difficult times. Seeing Ravioli unwell has been heartbreaking, not only for me but for her sister too, who keeps looking for her and waiting nearby. Recently, Ravioli got into my sewing supplies and swallowed a piece of string. Since then, she has stopped eating and using the litter box. After speaking with a veterinarian, we were told this could be extremely serious and potentially life threatening if not treated quickly. She needs to be seen for imaging and possible medical intervention to make sure the string has not caused a blockage. I am currently in college, and between school expenses and helping support my family, finances are already very tight. It is just my mom, my brother, and me, and the cost of emergency veterinary care is more than we can manage on our own. Ravioli has been a constant source of comfort for me through school and some of the hardest moments of my life, and the thought of losing her because we could not afford care is devastating. Ravioli is gentle, loving, and deeply cherished. She has been there for me when I needed her most, and I cannot imagine giving up without doing everything possible to help her. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this, truly means more than I can express. All funds raised will go directly toward her veterinary care, including diagnostics, treatment, and any necessary procedures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for helping us give Ravioli a chance to heal. Ayanna and Ravioli

Jimbo

Jimbo is a 6 month old American Shorthair in Garden Grove , CA, who needs $8,000 for Diaphragmatic Hernia Repair Surgery.

Garden Grove, CA

Jimbo is our 4–6 month old kitten, and from the moment we met him, he’s been nothing but the most precious boy. He’s gentle, affectionate and super sweet, even when he’s struggling to breathe. When we noticed his breathing wasn’t normal, we took him to the vet, hoping for answers but never expecting the heartbreak that followed. After X-rays, we learned that Jimbo has a ruptured diaphragm (diaphragmatic hernia). His organs have shifted out of place, and the vet could barely tell what was where. They could even see what appeared to be his intestines in his lungs. The vet told us it was a miracle Jimbo was still alive and that he can't live on like this without surgery. Despite everything his tiny body has endured, Jimbo keeps fighting. He still purrs and asks for cuddles, just like any other kitten. The specialist the vet referred us to estimated the surgery would cost $6,000–$8,000. We truly wish to get our precious boy the care he needs because he deserves a happy life, but this is far beyond what we can afford on our own. Jimbo has already beaten the odds for months. He deserves the chance to grow up, to breathe freely, and to live the happy life every kitten should have. Any donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving Jimbo a normal happy life. If you’re unable to donate, we would appreciate it very much if you could spread the word. Thank you for caring, and thank you for helping us give Jimbo a second chance to bounce back. ❤️
