Niko

Niko is a 11 year old American Shorthair in Humble, TX, who needs $1,500 for Recheck Examination, Abdominal Ultrasound.

Humble, TX

I adopted Niko on October 31, 2015, after a remarkable journey that started when a veterinary clinic rescued him. His previous owner, unable to understand his self-harming behavior, had tried to have him euthanized. Luckily, caring veterinarians stepped in and persuaded the owner to surrender him. They soon discovered that Niko was suffering from a food allergy, which was the root of his distress. After a year of dedicated care at the clinic, he finally regained his health, and that’s when our paths crossed. These days, Niko lives happily with his older sister, Aja, and his younger brother, Chloe. For many years, his health was steady, needing only a special diet of dry and wet food along with medication for gastrointestinal issues. However, everything changed on August 25, 2025, when we faced a major challenge that put our bond to the test. Niko was diagnosed with Small-cell Lymphoma and required urgent medical attention. While the prognosis is positive, he will need ongoing, intensive treatment for the rest of his life. I’m grateful for his pet insurance, but the bills are piling up as we start this new chapter. Recently, I also had unexpected personal medical expenses that drained my savings. I’m doing my best to cover his ongoing treatments by reaching out to all the financial aid organizations I can find. I’ve also exhausted my CareCredit and am managing my budget as carefully as possible. With only one income and three cats to look after, staying afloat financially has become more and more challenging.

Kimbo

Kimbo is a 5 year old Old English Bulldog in JACKSONVILLE, FL, who needs $21,000 for Cystotomy and Scrotal Urethrostomy.

JACKSONVILLE, FL

What a wild rollercoaster the last 3 days have been. My lil buddy wasn't feeling well on Christmas Eve so we took him in to see the vet. It was decided that he would need surgery to have bladder stones removed. Friday morning he went in for surgery. After a long stressful day of waiting we were able to go pick him up and get him home. Within a few hours we noticed that things didn't seem right. We rushed him to the nearest emergency vet in the middle of the night. The staff there was great. They quickly identified the few possibilities that the problem could be. They determined that the care he would need may be beyond their capabilities and recommended that we take him to Gainesville if we wanted the best chance at saving him. Without hesitation we hauled ass to the University Of Florida's School of Vetenarian. They hopped into action quickly and immediately went to work to identify the problem. Here we are 2 sleepless days later. A few hard battles later. Multiple trips back and forth from Jax to Gainesville later. An unimaginable bill later and he's still fighting. My lil guy is fighting so hard. He's won a couple battles and he's also had a few set backs. We remain hopeful he's going to get through all of this and get back home to his family next week. My heart hurts. My stomach hurts. My eyes hurt, but my buddy hasn't given up and neither am I 😔 Please buddy, please pull through this and get back home 😭 On Christmas Eve we took him in to a local vet for an examination. It was determined that he would need a cystotomy and potentially a urethrotomy along with neutering. He ended up receiving both. After recovery, we were able to pick him up but quickly realized something was wrong. At the emergency vet, he received additional staples to the incision. Once at The University of Florida, they placed a red rubber catheter, upon waking up from anesthesia his blood pressure crashed. After stabilization he was taken for emergency ct scans. It was determined that the knot from the neutering procedure had unraveled, causing internal bleeding. The bleeding has clotted and remained stable. He is now scheduled for another cystotomy, clot removal and knot fix and potentially a scrotal urethrostomy if the urethra is damaged to the point of needing to be salvaged. We are now approximately at 20k total. We have exhausted cash and financed the rest. It will be extremely difficult to make these payments. We are praying for any kind of relief possible, but will find a way no matter what. We are absolutely devastated, but extremely hopeful in a happy ending.

Bonnie

Bonnie is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in friendswood, TX, who needs $1,000 for Leg Surgery.

friendswood, TX

My name is Grace, and I’m raising funds for my dog, Bonnie—my best friend and constant source of joy—who was recently hit by a car. Bonnie is the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s hyper, endlessly sweet, and always wagging her tail, ready to love anyone who gives her a moment of attention. Seeing her hurt and unable to be her happy, energetic self has been absolutely heartbreaking. After the accident, Bonnie’s injuries became clear very quickly. Her leg is swollen and she’s in pain, and she needs medical care at Family Animal Hospital in Friendswood, Texas. The veterinarians there can help her heal, but due to personal and financial hardships I’m currently facing, I simply can’t afford the procedures and diagnostics she needs on my own. I’ve been doing everything I can to comfort her, but it hurts knowing that love alone isn’t enough to take away her pain. Bonnie depends on me, and right now I’m asking for help so I can give her the care she deserves. Any donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward her medical treatment and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign also means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for helping me give Bonnie a chance to heal and get back to being the happy, playful dog who just wants to make friends and spread love. ❤️

MooCow

MooCow is a 5 year old American Shorthair in North Bellmore , NY, who needs $2,300 for Dental and Growth Removal.

North Bellmore, NY

Our story began 2 years ago, a sweet "cow cat" started showing up at our door here in New York. We watched her battle everything the elements could throw at her. Freezing snow, pouring rain, and blistering heat. Comforting her needs but our hearts broke for her. Slowly, she went from a visitor at the back door to a permanent fixture on our steps, specifically waiting for my 14-year-old daughter. Who had recently lost her Grandfather and was "made at God" for taking him away from her. I knew our outdoor friend was an angel. Because we already have an adopted ginger cat, and because my daughter is adopted herself, we knew we had to bring MooCow in. Adopting MooCow wasn’t just about saving a cat; it was a way for my daughter to see firsthand how wonderful and life-changing adoption can be. Why MooCow is Our Hero Right after Halloween, our world was shattered when my daughter’s best friend was tragically killed with no answers my daughters mental health was declining. In the wake of that devastating loss, MooCow has been an absolute angel for my daugter. She and my daughter are like peas and carrots, often my daughter watching outside her window all night long for MooCows safety. Inseparable and leaning on each other for comfort they both blossomed. MooCow has provided a sense of peace and companionship that nothing else could. The Medical Need While MooCow tested negative for diseases and is safe to be around our other cat, her time on the streets left its mark. She urgently needs fixed. Dental Surgery: She has several cracked teeth that cause her pain. Mass Removals: She has two large growths on her leg that must be surgically removed and biopsied. The total cost for her surgeries is $2,300. Why We Need You As much as we love her, we simply do not have the funds to cover this unexpected medical bill. The thought of surrendering MooCow and forcing my daughter to lose another best friend so soon after such a tragedy is unbearable. We are asking for anything you can spare to help us keep this family together. Every dollar goes directly toward MooCow’s veterinary care so she can live a long, pain-free life by my daughter’s side. Please help us save MooCow, for the sake of a girl who needs her now more than ever. And a cat that needs a forever home that loves her. Thank you

Amy

Amy is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Kewaskym, WI, who needs $11,000 for Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Feline Leukemia.

Kewaskym, WI

Hi, we are new to this site and are reaching out for help with our sweet cat, Amy. Amy is just 1 year old and will turn 2 next month. She is positive for feline leukemia and is currently hospitalized in diabetic ketoacidosis, receiving level 3 critical care at an animal hospital more than an hour from our home each way. In just a few short days, her medical care has already placed us over $11,000 in debt. We are seeking assistance with her veterinary bills so we can continue giving her the care she desperately needs. We fostered Amy for the past year and very recently adopted her, along with four other cats who are also feline leukemia positive. We knew adopting them would dramatically impact our lives—emotionally and financially—but diabetes was not something we had on our 2025 bingo card. Before Amy came to us, everyone had given up on her. She arrived with her mom, her sister, and two other cats, all feline leukemia positive. From the beginning, we promised her a chance—a real one. The fight is only beginning. Once Amy is able to come home, she will be a diabetic cat requiring insulin and a specialized diet for the rest of her life. Despite the challenges ahead, we want to continue fighting for her. If you are able to help in any way, we would be deeply grateful. Your support allows us to give Amy the fighting chance she deserves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you.
