Zena is a Bully and companion dog to Leo who suffers from Aphasia since he had a stroke. Due to difficulties with communication and memory, Zena provides emotional support, helps with communication and non verbal skills. Aphasia is isolating, so she has improved Leos quality of life and well being. Zena has been experiencing digestive problems the last few days and has some type of bowel obstruction. Her symptoms: refuses to eat, stomach pain, constipation Zena, is very special because she helps Leo communicate and stay calm when words are hard to say. She knows when he is frustrated and sits by Leos side for comfort. Zena understands hand signals and gestures, which makes daily tasks much easier. At home, Zena interacts with the family in a way that brings everyone happiness Due to the stroke Leo is unemployed and has applied for Social Security, his family members provide food for the dog, however do not have expenses to assist Leo with the dogs medical needs

Jazzy is a young energetic puppy that love everyone and loves attention. She loves her hobby farm activities protecting goats, chickens, ducks, pigs and that turkey that wants to fight everyone. Unfortunate as a puppy. She gets a little too excited playing with the other animals and got butted by one of the goats resulting in her hip being knocked out of socket. The veterinarian at Parkway Animal Hospital did x-rays and it was discovered she ingested a foreign object and now has partially blocked intestines along with the hip being out of socket. She is a good girl and deserves a chance before making a decision to put her down. She is very playful, loving and protective of her family and the other animals she protects on the property. I have been hopeful that we could avoid surgery because of the risk and of course cost, trying everything to get her to naturally pass the obstruction that will result in her death When the vet tells you it could be $1,500 to $3,000 to fix the leg and $1,500 to $3,000 to remove the blockage in her intestines you to question how I'm I suppose to get this accomplished. I was in the vet office seconds away from making the decision to put her down

Oakley joined our family in 2019 when we bought our first house. He has become part of the family joining his sister (our other german shepard) and our 3 cats. Oakley has the kindest heart with unconditional love. He's one of our 5 fur babies and has been an amazing companion to our 2 human children. Oakley is currently a patient staying at Florida Veterinary Referral Center/24 hour Emergency Hospital in critical, yet stable as of now condition. Oakley started vomiting and didn't want to eat this week. Come to find out he was in serious sudden liver failure. We still have not found the cause whether he ingested something or contracted a serious infection. I can't emphasize enough how sweet and deserving Oakley is. How can you put a price on an animal's life? Even on our worst days, he manages to go throughout life with a dog smile. He's become our daughters' best friend, emotional support, and we really can't imagine life without him. He is 5 years young with so much more life to live. We desperately need help to save his life. I work as a nurse practitioner part time while raising our 2 daughters (8 months & 3 yrs old) while my husband runs a fulltime business. We have worked for everything we have, however, financial support has run dry at this point.

We received her August 2024 as an emotional support animal. We got her from this family that was always working and never had time for her anymore. She loves to play, loves treats and is an enthusiastic doggie. Zoe had a accident running and broke her femur. We went to the vet and they said it was the midshaft femur fracture and she would need surgery or to get her leg amputated. They stated that the cast were splint would not help it and that it’s really bad to the point where she would need surgery. Her foot is dangling very limp. Honestly, I don’t know what to do. Zoe is very special. She loves to play with cat toys. She loves to run around. She loves to go on rides. She’s seven years old, but she’s an older dog, but she loves to play. She’s a good girl she sits with she is told. So the vet surgeon quoted us 3000 to 3500 for the surgery for 15 to 1800 for amputation of the leg. Unfortunately, I am not working because I can’t find work around here since I live in a smaller town and also my boyfriend that does work but bills is piling up.

Hi Everyone! For those who don't know me, my name is Roland. I spent my entire childhood and early adulthood being terrified of dogs while simultaneously wanting one more than anything. By the time I finished college, I made the decision to overcome that fear and get a pup. I spent over six months watching training videos and researching different breeds in preparation. I told myself that if I was In 2022, KJ was diagnosed with diabetes, typically managed with insulin, keeping his blood glucose between 300-400. When levels rise into DKA, his care team and I address it promptly. This Monday, he showed unusual symptoms, including vomiting and a blood sugar of 130. Vet results confirm he’s in DKA. His treatment is estimated to cost up to $3,800. The hospital is Lakeview Animal Hospital Kj is the smartest dog i have ever had the pleasure of being around let alone him being my son. Within a year, he was full trained and off lease. He has taught, unconditional love, brought me out of darkness multiple times. hes why i train dogs for free. the hard times he's helped me through are indescribable. Words cannot express the pain I feel at the thought of losing him. I have been searchin for for 2-3 months while keeping up with his insulin but with this emergency, I am unable to come up with these funds. I have tried evey other avenue. out side of my normal 9-5 jobs im searching for, winter training clients are hard to find

Kobe came into my life when he was eight weeks old. He was adopted him from someone in our neighborhood. Kobe is currently six months old. He we adopted Kobe because I wanted a dog with lots of energy for hiking. Kobe is a husky mix. He is incredibly smart and a great addition to my family. One day he had a few episodes of vomiting and lethargy. I rushed Kobe to my local vet, where he was assessed and had a Xray that showed that he had an obstruction in his colon. I was informed that he would need emergency surgery and he was transferred to VEG. Once we arrived at the VEG he was given an ultrasound, blood work and a IV. Kobe then was rushed to surgery Since Kobe came into our lives It has been such an amazing adventure. He’s my best friend. He loves to go on walks. He enjoys going to parks to run and play catch. Kobe enjoys snacking on ice cubes. He loves to play with his best friend Roscoe. They do everything together. Kobe enjoys belly rubs and cuddles. He is such a fun and loving pet. Kobe surgery was an unexpected large bill that we have been struggling to pay. I am recovering from surgery due to my own health struggles. Any help is greatly appreciated

Chase is 3 mons now, he came into our family at 8 weeks old as an early Christmas gift for my daughter and our family. My daughter told Santa one of her gifts she wanted was a puppy for Christmas. We found Chase from an out of town breeder. My daughter picked chase’s name after a paw patrol character. 8 weeks Chase jumped off the bed. We took him to Banfiled vet and did X-rays on his leg. He broke his leg in two places and needed a splint. After the second splint change his paw was swollen and limping due to the bandage being to tight. Then developed an infection on his paw and leg. His infection was healing at first now it’s getting worse to the point where they want to amputate his leg. Chase is the best companion puppy that we ever have had. He’s very calm and very lovable. Chase and my daughter have a special bond that can not be broken. Before Chase broke his leg he loved playing,rolling and eaten the snow. He can’t play outside now due to the broken leg and infection, his leg has to stay dry. His favorite things are to cuddle plays with his favorite stuff animal. Vet trips vet bills every day cleaning and bandages changes the antibiotics xray have been adding up very quickly and will continue to add up due to the infection the infection can kill him where we need to amputate before it does.

Luna was born in November of 2018 and we brought her home at 12 weeks old after adopting her from a local shelter. She is a mix of German Shepard and Great Pyrenees. She loves pets and time with her humans. She currently has a brother, Pepper, who is also a rescue and 2 rescued kitties. She lives with her humans in Idaho and it is her favorite time of the year where it is cold.:) Luna has a Perianal Adenoma tumor near her anus. Surgery is recommended by two local veterinarians. Estimated costs go from 365-750, depending on how invasive and long the surgery goes. They will not know until in surgery. This a LARGE variance in cost. We would like to go with Idaho Falls Veterinary Hospital as it is close and the veterinarian has a great recommendation. Luna is an interictal part of the family. As mentioned she has a doggo brother and they must do EVERYTHING together. Eat, go outside, lounge... it is together. I am unsure how he will act when she is not available to him when she does have surgery and in recovery. Our family loves our time with her, walks, car rides, pup cups, toys, lounging.. we do it all. She loves tie with any of us. We have had a sudden unexpected expense, one of my husbands front teeth has broken off and dental work for that has sucked any extra saved that we have. That and the holidays our financials are stretched thin at this time. It would mean the world to us to help Luna!!
