Kaia

Kaia is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Bend, OR, who needs $625 for Diagnostics and Biopsy Testing.

Bend, OR

I met my baby girl on April 4, 2020. The moment she was born. She was number 4 in a litter of 7. She was a birthday present from my mother to me. When she was 4 months old that she was hit by a car on a busy road and she came running to me all tattered up and she had a broken muzzle, snout and jaw. We had her fixed right away and she still suffers from the repercussion of the wreck. She's such a happy beautiful joyful little girl that is brought nothing but happiness to my face and my life every second of every day. She's terrified of thunder but she's such a big girl it's so funny it's so cute. Now she's got that cyst on her started in her armpit and now I just traveled down half of her leg and she's got developed a bunch of little lesions around her body. The owner of the parent dogs where my dog came from was very energetic and obnoxious and this caused poor kaya do you have a life of anxiety and stress from the way that she was handled as a pup when I got her it became part of me to protect her and never let anybody hurt her or even raise a hand to her again. She is the biggest baby and the sweetest sweetheart I've ever met. I am in turmoil with my finances over my recent job loss with the United States postal service. I'm still owed thousands of dollars from my pay that I probably won't see but I have to help my baby somehow I just can't afford anything at the moment.

Nisbo

Nisbo is a 8 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in North Miami, FL, who needs $1,600 for Mass Removal from Eye and Scrotal Areas.

North Miami, FL

Nisbo is a gentle giant! He is one of the most loving dogs that I have ever had! He came into my life about 5 years ago when a "friend" of my nephew asked my dad if he could leave the dog at his house for a short time. He never returned, and the dog was locked in a kennel all day everyday. The dogs that lived at the house attacked him and he was left badly injured, and we had to take him in! When I first took him in, I brought him to the vet immediately. They treated him and his injuries healed, only to be diagnosed with heartworms. Luckily, the injections were successful and he was healthy again. Earlier this year I noticed growths on his scrotal area and then another appeared overnight on his eyelid. He requires surgery for both areas, to be done at Banfield Hosp in N.M.B., Fl. Nisbo is my best friend! We have conversations, I talk and he grunts, and rarely barks unless there is a thunderstorm. Every day he wakes up and stands next to my bed, if I don't react, he'll hit the bed with his paw. He loves saying Good Morning, and loves looking out the window when we go on outings. My husband is away and won't be back for years, & Nisbo is his baby, but now he's my best friend As I said, my husband is not around right now, and I am disabled and unemployed at the moment. I am trying to gather the funds, but it's very difficult right now as I am literally living day to day. Any help in saving my best friend would be truly appreciated & grateful!

Boo

Boo is a 7 year old American Shorthair in Vista, CA, who needs $2,000 for Upper Respiratory Infection.

Vista, CA

My cat was rescued from a trashcan since birth. I found him around Halloween seven years ago, so I named him Boo. He came into my life when I was going through hard times, he literally saved me. Since then, it’s been my mission to give him the best life he could have since he isn’t supposed to be alive right now. I raised him his entire life and he’s been my entire life. He’s literally my baby. Our apartment has recently flooded, and we were forced to move to another unit. Since then his health has been deteriorating in front of me. He refuses to eat, he takes a few steps and collapses, and is having trouble breathing now. With a little money I had I took him to a vet and they are administered a steroid shot. He showed a little bit of improvement but nowhere near where he was. Boo is a caretaker to my other three cats. Once Boo was a teenager, we adopted more cats from the Humane Society. Now we are home of four cats and boo is the dad to all of them. Everyone in my family loves boo and we’ve been devastated for the past two weeks now seeing his health deteriorate in front of us. He is literally the glue that keeps our cat family strong. My apartment flooded, and we were forced to leave tying up our funds into moving. I’m currently unemployed and experiencing hardships. How the saying goes “when it rains it pours”. I’ve tried to help cats my whole life. But now I’m the one that needs help.

Liliana-Rose

Liliana-Rose is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Spokane, WA, who needs $2,000 for Full Dental Extraction.

Spokane, WA

Liliana-Rose I renamed her with a name meaning new beginning and purity. I was immediately drawn to Lili, I had just moved into my own place all alone for the first time in my life. I read her story the words “abandoned in a dumpster” stood out to me, I decided then I would take her home and provide her with a life she deserved. Lili has a condition called stomatitis, her vet (union animal hospital) said she lost the genetic lottery and it happened to her very young. She said she could have had it and never shown us the pain she was in because she is a very strong stoic cat. Currently her front tooth is falling out and they all will need to be removed but she is in so much pain that she refuses to eat or drink. Lili is a cat that sleeps under my special needs child’s bed every night and watches him from her cat tower, he comes home looking for her everyday she looks for comfort in him and I as much as we look for comfort in her. She has a 3 sisters, a cat, dog, and lizard and she watches over them like a mother. She is more than a cat to us she is our whole world. Our glue that holds us together. When we took Lili in it was the most Monday of mondays, the car broke down, our son got sick. We spent all but 6 cents on Lili, and don’t have the financial means to afford a 2000 anestesia and full dental extraction. We are coming up with what we have but it’s not enough.
