Help 5 Street Cats in Egypt Get Lifesaving TNVR Care

Every day, street cats in Egypt face unimaginable hardship. They struggle to survive without reliable food, shelter, or medical care while constantly facing the dangers of illness, injury, abuse, and endless breeding cycles that leave more kittens suffering on the streets. Right now, we have the opportunity to help five vulnerable street cats through a lifesaving TNVR effort — Trap, Neuter/Vaccinate, and Return. This program not only improves the health and safety of these individual cats, but also helps prevent the suffering of countless future kittens born into dangerous street conditions. This rescue effort will include: \\\\- Spay surgeries for 2 female cats - Neuter surgeries for 3 male cats - Rabies vaccinations for all 5 cats - Deworming treatment for all 5 cats - Flea and parasite prevention for all 5 cats In addition, one of the cats is suffering from severe dental issues and urgently needs two painful teeth extracted to relieve infection and chronic discomfort. These cats may not have homes, but they still deserve safety, relief from pain, and compassionate care. TNVR is one of the most effective and humane ways to help community cats live healthier lives while reducing the number of homeless animals struggling on the streets. Every donation will go directly toward their veterinary care, surgeries, medications, vaccinations, and recovery support. No amount is too small, and every contribution helps change the lives of these five cats forever. Please donate if you can, and help us give these street cats in Egypt the care, dignity, and second chance they deserve. 6/11/26 Update Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, all five cats in this TNVR project have now received the veterinary care they desperately needed. The two female cats were successfully spayed, and the three male cats were neutered, helping prevent countless future litters from being born into the harsh conditions of street life. All five cats also received rabies vaccinations, deworming treatment, and flea and parasite prevention to improve their overall health and quality of life. In addition, the cat suffering from severe dental disease received the necessary dental treatment, including the extraction of two painful teeth. This procedure has relieved chronic pain and infection, allowing this cat to eat more comfortably and enjoy a much healthier life. After recovering from their procedures, the cats were safely returned to their familiar territory, where they can continue living healthier, safer lives. While their journey on the streets continues, they now face it with protection from future breeding cycles, improved health, and freedom from unnecessary suffering. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this fundraiser. Calypso is a 3-month-old kitten who was found with a severe degloving injury to her tail. This traumatic injury left the tissue exposed and caused significant pain and risk of infection. After veterinary evaluation, it was determined that a partial tail amputation was necessary to relieve her pain and give her the best chance at a full recovery. During the same procedure, Calypso was also spayed to prevent future unwanted litters and support long-term health. Despite everything she has endured, Calypso remains a sweet, loving kitten who enjoys attention and is already recovering well in foster care. Once healed, she will be available for adoption through South Carolina Community Cat Project. We are seeking assistance to help cover the cost of her tail amputation surgery, spay procedure, medications, and follow-up care. As a foster-based rescue, unexpected medical cases like Calypso’s quickly strain our resources. Any support for Calypso’s care will help give this resilient little kitten the healthy future she deserves while allowing us to continue helping other cats in need. 6/11/26 Update Thanks to your kindness and support, Calypso has successfully undergone her partial tail amputation surgery and spay procedure. Her veterinary team was able to remove the damaged portion of her tail, clean the injury thoroughly, and get her on the path to recovery. She is now resting comfortably in foster care, where she is receiving pain medication, monitoring, and lots of love. Calypso is healing beautifully. Her incision sites are looking good, her appetite is strong, and her playful personality is already starting to shine through again. Most importantly, she is no longer in the constant pain caused by the degloving injury. Once her recovery is complete, Calypso will be available for adoption through South Carolina Community Cat Project, where she will have the chance to find a safe and loving forever home. I got my life saving best friend from my other best friend and her friend. Its a beautiful story! My friend met his first owner at a petsmart. He was about to post a picture and find someone to take "buddy". For me, it was love at first sight. He needed everything though, from shots to neutered to dental. I couldn't afford all that, but her friend stepped in and took care of it for us!! Sadly, Niro and I have lost all of our 3 cats over the past 18 months, and the last one was his bestie. That was 2 months ago. Im afraid I lost track of Niros dental health, and its gotten quite bad. He needs several extractions as well. A dental for him is extra needed as he has slightly elevated kidney numbers and a stable heart murmur. He is still very bouncy and active 😊 He loves his walks. He loves visiting grandma. He loves all the beggin strips and he loves rolling himself up like a little puppy burrito in his favorite blanket! He hates nail trims, tolerates baths in the sink. He is service trained and surprised all of us by alerting to my medical issues the second day he was here. Took us a couple days to realize it was real! Name Deniro cuz he squints one eye Im disabled and on a small fixed income and just cant quit come up with all the money needed for this. It is estimated about 1000. I can come up with most, but need help with about $400 please
Justice
She Survived the Night. Now Justice Needs Us.

Thanks to one of Stray Dog Support's incredible partners, this sweet girl now named Justice is safe and receiving urgent veterinary care. She was found with a rope tightly embedded around her neck that has now been removed. SDS is currently cleaning and treating her wound. The area was severely infected, and she is now on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication to reduce the extreme swelling caused by the rope. Despite everything, Justice is eating on her own! A small but powerful sign of her will to survive. They are relieved to share that her trachea does not appear to be damaged. They are currently waiting on blood test results to better understand the severity of her condition. Justice will need to remain hospitalized for the next 2–3 weeks as her infection and swelling are closely monitored. The vet described her as the sweetest and most gentle girl. The very qualities that should have protected her may be what allowed someone to get close enough to hurt her. This is why Stray Dog Support exists. But her recovery is just beginning. Stray Dog Support urgently needs help to cover the cost of Justice’s hospitalization and ongoing treatment. Meet Asia, a gentle 20-year-old senior cat whose life was turned upside down after the heartbreaking loss of his beloved caregiver. After losing the only home and person he had known, Asia came to Adopt A Cat Foundation, where he is now surrounded by compassionate volunteers dedicated to making sure his remaining years are filled with love, comfort, and security. Despite everything he has been through, Asia remains incredibly affectionate and trusting. He loves being held, seeks out gentle pets and attention, and peacefully coexists with the other cats at the shelter. He has the kind of quiet, loving presence that instantly touches everyone who meets him. Asia has recently started scratching himself raw around his ears and face, raising concerns that he may be suffering from a painful ear infection or severe irritation. He will need further examination and treatment to determine the cause and help relieve the discomfort he is experiencing. At 20 years old, our goal for Asia is not perfection — it is comfort, dignity, and quality of life. After recently developing severe irritation around his ears and face, causing him to scratch himself raw, Asia was brought in for a veterinary examination to help determine the cause of his discomfort. The good news is that Asia has now been evaluated by his veterinarian and has begun treatment. He received medications to help address the inflammation and possible infection contributing to his symptoms, giving him some much-needed relief while his caregivers continue to monitor his progress. Additional follow-up testing, including bloodwork and parasite screening, has also been recommended to help ensure there are no underlying issues affecting his health. For a cat of Asia's age, every medical concern must be taken seriously. While many cats are fortunate enough not to reach their twentieth birthday, Asia is still enjoying attention from volunteers, seeking out cuddles, and reminding us every day just how special senior pets can be. After losing his beloved caregiver and the only home he had ever known, Asia has faced enormous changes late in life. Thanks to the support of compassionate animal lovers, he is receiving the care, comfort, and medical attention he deserves during his golden years. Rescued Just in Time-Help Rusty Recover From Emergency Surgery

Rusty’s story began when he appeared in the courtyard of one of our dedicated foster volunteers, clearly in distress and in urgent need of help. His tail was severely injured, and a strong odor of decay indicated something was very wrong. Our volunteer acted immediately, rushing Rusty to our veterinary partner for evaluation. The diagnosis was serious. Rusty was suffering from a severe infection along with mild anemia. He was started on antibiotics right away and admitted for medical boarding so he could receive the care he desperately needed. After further examination, the veterinarian determined that Rusty required an emergency tail amputation to save his life. The infection had already turned necrotic and was rapidly spreading up his tail toward his body, putting his vital organs at risk. Rusty has since undergone surgery and he is on the road to recovery, but his journey is not over. We need your support to cover the cost of his emergency surgery, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing care. Every donation helps ensure that animals like Rusty get a second chance at life. Please consider contributing to Rusty’s recovery and helping us continue to be there for animals in crisis when they need us most. 5/28/26 Update When Rusty first arrived in our care, he was in critical condition. A severe infection had caused part of his tail to become necrotic, requiring emergency surgery to save his life. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, he received the urgent medical care he needed, including hospitalization, medications, and a life-saving tail amputation. Since his surgery, Rusty has continued his recovery journey. Because he was extremely skittish and semi feral, he spent two weeks recuperating in a secure playpen set up in the courtyard of the apartment complex where he was found. He remained under close observation there until he was healthy enough to receive his vaccinations several weeks later. Today, Rusty has chosen to stay in that same courtyard, a safe and familiar space where he feels comfortable. The volunteer who first helped him continues to care for him every day, providing food, fresh water, toys, shelter from the elements, and plenty of patience as she works to earn his trust. Every photo of Rusty represents a small victory. As a semi feral cat, he has always been wary of people, so earning his trust has been a gradual process. Our focus has been on giving him the time and space he needs to feel safe while he continues to recover and adapt to his new life without adding any undue stress. While Rusty is still adjusting and his journey is ongoing, we are encouraged by the progress he has made so far. He appears to be adapting remarkably well to life without a tail, and his healthy coat and overall appearance are wonderful signs of the care and healing he has received. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Rusty's care. Your donations made his emergency treatment possible and continue to help us provide for his ongoing needs as he builds confidence and settles into a safer life. Thank you for being part of Rusty's story and for helping us give him the chance to keep moving forward with his recovery. 6/5/26 Update We are happy to share that Rusty continues to do well and has made tremendous progress over the past several months. He now visits the courtyard twice each day for meals and often spends long stretches of time relaxing there, showing just how comfortable he has become in the place he calls home. His tail has healed beautifully, his coat is healthy and shiny, and his overall condition is excellent. Perhaps most encouraging of all, Rusty is slowly becoming more social and accepting of human interaction. While he is still very much on his own timeline, he has made steady progress in building trust with the volunteer who cares for him every day. For a cat who once kept his distance from everyone, these small steps are meaningful milestones. Seeing Rusty healthy, comfortable, and growing more confident has been incredibly rewarding. None of this would have been possible without the support of the donors who stepped up when he needed help most. Burned, Scarred, and Still Fighting — Stanley Deserves a Chance at Comfort

Stanley’s story is one of unimaginable pain—and incredible survival. He came into care after suffering severe chemical burns that covered his face, ears, eyelids, and nostrils. Large portions of his skin were hardened with thick, black dead tissue. He was dehydrated, in excruciating pain, and barely holding on. What happened to Stanley is unknown. But whatever he came into contact with was so caustic that when rescuers tried to bathe him, the chemical residue turned the water green—and even caused a painful rash on the person helping him. His road to survival was long and brutal. Stanley endured multiple burn debridements under sedation, where layers of dead tissue had to be carefully removed. He required constant wound care, strong pain medication, antibiotics, fluids, and eye medications to protect what little function remained. Hidden beneath the damaged tissue were ear mites, adding even more discomfort to an already unbearable situation. His nostrils were so badly damaged that he needed nasal stents just to breathe properly. And even after surviving the worst, the damage did not end there. Parts of Stanley’s ears were lost. His face is permanently scarred. Tight scar tissue pulls at his eyes, and he now lives with a deviated septum that affects his breathing. In the future, he may need surgery to correct the way his eyelids sit, as the scarring can cause ongoing irritation and risk to his vision. The trauma didn’t just leave physical scars. For a long time, Stanley struggled emotionally. When overwhelmed, he would scratch at himself or slam his face into objects—reopening wounds and reliving his pain in ways he couldn’t control. Healing for Stanley has meant not only treating his body, but helping him slowly learn that he is safe. And just when it seemed like he had already endured more than any animal should… Stanley was diagnosed with diabetes. After everything his body has been through—the burns, the chronic inflammation, the medications, the stress—he now requires lifelong management, including daily blood sugar checks, insulin injections, and a strict diet. Without this care, his condition could quickly become life-threatening. Stanley survived the unthinkable. But survival has come at a cost. He now lives with permanent disfigurement, ongoing medical needs, and the lasting effects of deep trauma. This is not the easy, carefree life he deserved after fighting so hard to stay alive. But Stanley is still here. Still fighting. Still deserving of comfort, stability, and care. Stanley has already proven how strong he is. Now he needs people who will stand with him for the rest of his journey—so his future can be defined not by pain, but by compassion. Please help us give Stanley the care he still so desperately needs. 5/3/26 Update We’ve been getting a lot of questions about Stanley’s future… so it’s time to make it official. Stanley is staying with his foster permanently. From day one, she has been there through everything — the late nights, the medical care, the healing, the ups and downs. Their bond isn’t something you question… you just see it. Stanley didn’t just find safety with her — he found his person. And while he may not be going anywhere… he’s still very much ours too. Stanley will officially remain the permanent mascot of South Carolina Community Cat Project — the face of everything we do, the reason so many of you found us, and the little fighter who helped grow this rescue into what it is today. He’s the CEO of Handsome, the Director of Pantry Management, and now… a permanent part of this rescue’s story. He’s home. Thank you! 5/13/26 Update Update on Stanley 🧡 Stanley is doing really well and we’re so thankful for all of the support, donations, messages, and love everyone has shown him since his diabetes diagnosis. The good news is that he has thankfully not had to go back to the vet since being diagnosed and has been doing well at home. We’ve been monitoring him closely, keeping up with his care, and making sure he stays stable and comfortable. While he’s doing well, his campaign is still not fully funded and we are still trying to cover the remaining balance from his diagnostics, visits, diabetic supplies, and ongoing care. Rescue never really stops at the diagnosis — the monitoring, prescription food, supplies, and follow-up care continue long after the initial emergency. We are also in desperate need of kitten and cat food donations right now. Kitten season has absolutely exploded and the amount of food being used daily is honestly overwhelming. Wet food, dry food, kitten food — we need all of it. 😭 We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped Stanley and our rescue so far. MooShu
MooShu is a 3 month old Mix-Breed in Soledad, CA, who needs $450 for Exam, X-rays and Treatment.

MooShu came into our lives as an injured stray kitten found crying on the streets. We couldn't leave him behind, so we brought him home, gave him a warm bath, and named him MooShu. He is currently resting safely on a blanket in our home, but he desperately needs medical diagnosis for his injuries. MooShu has a noticeable limp on his leg and cannot lift his tail at all, even when playing. This is an urgent situation to check for nerve damage or fractures. We need help covering the initial $240 vet exam and x-rays at the clinic so we can understand exactly what treatment he needs to heal. He will be seen at Pet Maintenance and Repair MooShu looks almost exactly like our 12.5-year-old cat, Parker, who recently passed away. We rescued her off the streets when she was the exact same age as MooShu, and we are certain she sent him our way because she knew we would help. Despite being injured and scared, he is incredibly brave. He loves playing and has a spunky personality that reminds us so much of her. As a low-income family, this sudden veterinary diagnostic cost is a major unexpected expense that we simply cannot afford on our tight budget alone. Having MooShu healthy and diagnosed would mean the world to us.
Iggy
Iggy is a 2 month old American Shorthair in Leesburg, GA, who needs $260 for Leukemia Vaccine, Deworm, FVCRP Vaccine, and Leukemia/FIV Test.

Iggy was found in a ditch after many days of thunderstorms and rain. He was alone, wet, and scared. I picked him up and brought him to the vet for treatment. I can foster him but will be looking to rehome him since my husband is allergic to cats. I also have a puppy. He has tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. He was dewormed, given his first round of booster shots, and treated for ear mites. He will require more rounds of kitten shots in the next month. The vet is named Bush Animal Clinic in Albany, GA Iggy is very personable. Very tender and cozy. He immediately got on my lap and crawled to my shoulder to rest and snuggle. Filled with purrs. He doesn’t want to play quite yet but he handle his first bath very well. He is playing and loving on my 9 year old daughter. I am an educator on a fixed income and can’t absorb the medical bills. I took this kitten in and treated him since all of the local shelters and rescues are at full capacity. I would like to recoup some of the costs. Any extras would be donated to a local cat rescue.
