Mama Annie
Mama Annie is a 7-year-old Domestic in Huntington, WV, who needs $1,750 for surgery and intensive care.

Mama Annie is a 7-8 yr old cat and her medical issue is consistent with having too many litters of kittens over her lifetime. Annie delivered five kittens but only one survived. However, the worst part of the story is Annie suffered a prolapse and a large part of her insides were outside on the ground and she was being eaten from the inside out by flies. The smell was reported to be the worst our transporter had ever smelled. On top of all that, Annie has an upper respiratory infection making surgery to repair her prolapse high risk, but it had to be done. We found out that, at one point in her life, Annie's jaw had been broken and healed incorrectly. During surgery at the ER, Annie had a feeding tube placed. This is when we got a big scare! We are thankful for the swift care provided to her by the staff of the Tri-State Animal ER, Inc., who without a doubt saved her life. Send Annie some encouraging thoughts and the ER staff some well-deserved praise. Hang in there, Annie. We hope how soon this is behind you. Her biggest hurdle is the nasal congestion which is causing breathing difficulty, and is the primary reason she doesn’t want to eat. She is on two aggressive antibiotics, IV fluids, pain meds for her surgery, and on round-the-clock tube feedings. Suddenly Annie couldn’t breathe and her gums turned gray! The vet called to say Annie was receiving oxygen and they were on standby to do CPR as she was quickly declining. An X-RAY showed her feeding tube had shifted out of her stomach up into her esophagus, and her airway was blocked with mucus. Thank goodness they were able to reposition it, and she is back to breathing normally with pink gums.
Sable "Pretty Girl" Libles

Sable came into my life as a stray in 2009 as a stray cat. I fed her and made shelters for her and the other stray cats. Slowly she came to trust me and wanted to come into my apartment. My cat Callesto wasn't going to let that happen. In 2013 Callesto suddenly passed. I was devastated. However, Sable was there for me, giving me head bumps and purrs. I brought her inside and I was hers. Sable loves to look out the window and watch the birds, squirrels and people. In 2017 my apartment building burned down so we had to move. Her new apartment is bigger so she loves that she has plenty of places to nap. In 2019 I found a kitten under my car so now she has a little Sister. They both love looking out the window and running down the hallway. I'm currently on disability and have spent all my extra money on Sable. Her pain meds for her mouth are also an extra expense. I will do anything to keep her out of pain, happy and healthy. I love her so much! Currently Sable has hyperthyroidism and is on meds. I also get her bloodwork done to see if the meds are working. Recently she hurt her lip and when I took her to the Thrive Vet they told me that she had lost a tooth. They also said that she needed extractions and a dental cleaning. My Veterinarian, Dr. Marci Eldrencamp, gave me an estimate of $1,033.17 which I cannot afford. Sable has PTSD from being a stray for so long. The Veterinarians have been fantastic with her bitey feisty personality. She won't let me pick her up but snuggles next to me on the bed. She's very smart and I have to secretly put medication in her food because she will never let me give her a pill. Sable is very quirky and I love her.
Kittles
Kittles is a three-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in El Cajon, CA, who needs $900 for hospitalization due to burns.

Kittles narrowly escaped a brush with death, and now she needs your help. Her owner, Chelsea B., was just weeks away from having her second child when a horrible fire started at her house. When the searing heat from the flames broke a window in the home, Kittles managed to run out, but she was severely injured. "Kittles has burns on her face and all her paws," Chelsea tells Waggle. "She needs to get daily bandage changes (at the animal hospital) to help with her wounds. The vet said they are pretty bad." Sadly, Chelsea's other cat died in the fire. Chelsea and her seven-year-old child are safe but heartbroken. "Two years ago, I adopted two cats. I fell in love the moment I saw them. They loved to be next to me and cuddle and play with cat toys," Chelsea says. As Chelsea attempts to rebuild her life, she's struggling to pay Kittles' medical bills. "Right now, I am in financial hardship. We lost everything," Chelsea adds. "I am due in three weeks with a baby girl and trying to get all the baby items we lost. Helping my cat would mean the world to me. She is like my child."
Bob
Bob is a 14-year-old Manx/Mainecoon in Baldwinsville, NY, who needs $1,371 for urgent dental treatment, medications, and testing.

Bob was adopted on a whim at the pound at 3 mo.s-- he was too playful and loving to leave, he captured my heart (and I was not there took at cats!!) He is THE most important person in our family. Primarily he provides entertainment and love but when my serious health issues come up he sticks to me like glue and keeps me company when I am laid up. He is a very social, vocal, alert snugglemonster. Bob has a touch of "Cat OCD"-- we accept a certain routine (wake: snuggle, eat, outside, snuggle, sub-cutaneous fluids (like IV), catnip, snuggle, watch me get ready, etc...) it used to be his routine to go on the window seat around 10am as I worked from home... Once a snow drift blocked the view and Bob couldn't figure out where to sit because it messed up his routine (up, down, up, down, up..!) I have a fixed income because my health issues limit how many hours a week I can work. We have been paying for Bob's 3 medications and 2 prescription diet foods a month for about 5 years. I can afford fluids or meds but not both. Dental work is out of the question:( Bob has been on lactose, miralax, cisapride for years for hard stool and did very well with medication until June. He developed a blockage that was very painful and had to go through traumatic, painful treatment to clear it. Once clear he still wouldn't eat-- he tried but kept dropping it. He developed kidney issues and per the vet he needs fluids, gabapentin, 2 teeth extractions, cleaning. Having no tail (see pics) Bob often does what we call the "Jabba the Hutt" pose, sitting up vertically as we laugh hysterically in the background! Once he got used to a harness we taught him how to use the doorbell (literally bells I hung up) so he could get tied up but let us know whenever he wanted to come in. He LOVES going out on the porch, stalking phantom mice, bouncing into walls at night

I found my baby Cheyenne in an ad in the newspaper back in 2012 when I got to the home to get her she was the only little puppy left and I don't see how because she was the cutest and most smartest puppy I've ever seen them when I saw her I knew she was the perfect one for me. Cheyenne was a name that I gave her just from liking the name and I wanted something unique I didn't want to regular dog name but ever since you've been in my life she has been my rock goes everywhere with me she loves to go for rides and she will play with a ball all day long until you have to take it away from her she loves fetch there's also another dog in my home which is a black lab mix her name is Katie she is 5 years old and the sweetest little puppy that I have ever had Cheyenne like I said very smart I ther I said do you love me and she'll bark we found out a month ago that she had heart worm that devastated me and now I'm asking for help to pay for her treatment so she can get the full recovery that she needs Cheyenne favorite game is fetch she can play that all day long until you make her stop she's full of energy she has to go on her nightly walk will several several of them actually and her and my other dog play and get along perfectly cheyennee is great with other people and but she has a bit of a barker that had somebody pulled up in the driveway she doesn't know she definitely lets me know that's her job though I was working at a Furniture Company and I was recently laid off two weeks ago on June 16th unfortunately I am in aggressively looking for an employment right now. Cheyenne has to make it through this I don't see my living my life right without her she loves me to death and I love her to death She's My right-hand girl 's my number one Cheyenne is getting treatment from Conover vet and it's for heart worm it's going to be $1,337 total price starting on August 11th is when she goes in for her first treatment. This is the first time Cheyenne has had any major or serious problems she's 8 and 1/2 years old so I really don't want her to be suffering through her later years Cheyenne is definitely a talker ever since i taught her to bark whenever I ask her if she loves me she will bark when she wants her food she barks when she goes outside but I don't find it annoying at all without that she wouldn't be Cheyenne I want to tell her she has to be quiet she will actually bark quieter
Ava

I adopted Ava in September 2020 from Pound Puppies and Kittens, a small no-kill rescue in Loganville Georgia. When I adopted Ava the rescue told me she was great with kids, people, cats, and dogs and that they had not detected any behavioral problems. Over the course of several months it became clear to me that Ava needed serious help through training and medical care. Ava struggles with anxiety and is fearful of strangers. She has human-directed aggression because she does not know how to respond in any other way. I know she can live a happy life but not without professional help. She needs ongoing professional training (we have already started) and she needs to see a veterinary behaviorist to get on the correct medications so that she can make progress. At times Ava can be very challenging to care for. I am okay to adapt my life to meet her needs but at this time it feels I am compromising on too many of my own needs. In order for her and me to be happy she needs to become more at ease which I know she can accomplish! Ava needs a lot and it is getting to be way over my budget. I have been paying for professional training, a whole lot of medical care, a high quality raw diet, and lots of toys and chews to keep her occupied and happy. I am trying to make it all work but the added cost of seeing a vet behaviorist is a lot. Ava is super smart, loving, and athletic. When she is around people she trusts she is very affectionate. She loves water! If she finds water she will submerse her whole body in it to cool off. If there isn't any water around she will roll around in wet grass instead. She is also an avid bug hunter. Her specialty is cockroaches! When she is happy, her whole body wags.
Millie

Millie, or 'Super Mom' as we call her, was found in the bushes on a busy street in central California with one baby (Willie) and a broken back. She had been hit by a car and had Willie under that bush and he was 3 days old when they were found by our rescue partner. Luckily, Millie and Willie were sent to us for treatment and to find their forever homes. Millie is a total LAP DOG! She lives in a foster home with other dogs and, while she gets along fine with them, she really wants to be near her person soaking up all the love and attention! She scoots herself around some but we just know she'll be doing zoomies with her person once she gets her wheels! We are a 501(c)3 foster-based rescue organization. We try really hard not to say 'no' when our rescue partners in California call us with severely injured animals. We incur extra costs with these animals, but they are so worth it. Millie needs to find her forever happy home. Dr. Mandi Blackwelder at Healing Arts Animal Care in Beaverton has been evaluating Millie. The x-rays of her back indicated that to fix the broken and displaced L2 vertebrae would be way too much trauma on her little body. She is a perfect candidate for some awesome wheels and she SO deserves to have the best in life! Millie is SO special because of all the trauma she's been through in her short life. We call her Super Mom because of how brave she must have been to be hit by a car while pregnant, live under that bush paralyzed until she gave birth, and then take such good care of Willie while having a broken back.
Winston
Winston is a 1-year-old Lynx point in Robertsdale , PA, who needs $700 for eye removal.

Winston is a 14 week old male lynx point. I rescued him from a bad situation and when he came to me he had eye infections in which I have taken him to the veterinarian numerous times and given antibiotics. This last time the infection got too bad in his right eye and it caused his eye to rupture. He needs to have his eye removed in 2 days and I don’t have all the funding to get it done. Winston shares a home with my other cats and even though his eye is stitched shut until surgery day he doesn’t let that affect him, he still is a rambunctious baby. He loves to run around and climb on the cat tree and he enjoys spending the rest of his time sleeping and enjoying life from being outside. I am a single mom of 4 kids and work in nursing but due to my own mental health condition my hours have to be reduced greatly. It would mean the world to me to get some help. It makes me extremely heartbroken to see my little baby without being able to use his eye Winston is due for eye removal surgery on Friday August 20,2021. His veterinarian is located in Everett Pennsylvania. Winston was a feral kitten born outside and after many weeks of trying to win him over he is just now starting to come around and realize that all humans are not bad. I just love him to death. I absolutely love my animals, and would do anything for them. And to be in this situation right now to see my little Winston struggling with his eye condition and not having all the funds to help get his surgery is heartbreaking. I just want him to get this done and enjoy his best life as much as possible
Eddie
Eddie is a four-year-old Shitzu Mix in Coventry, RI, who needs $1,000 for hospitalization for leptospirosis.

MaryAnn D. perused Craigslist one day and spotted a darling dog who needed a new home because of a divorce. She contacted the dog's owners and arranged to meet. She instantly fell in love with the dog, brought him home, and named him Eddie. MaryAnn tells Waggle the former owners promised to send her the dog's medical and vaccination records, but she never got anything. Eddie was a huge hit in MaryAnn's household. Her current dog was thrilled to have a new pal. "They were like old friends," MaryAnn says. "They played walked slept together! Eddie fit in like a hand in a glove. He loves his new family and we love him." Days later, Eddie suddenly got very ill. MaryAnn raced him to Ocean State Veterinary Specialists, where he was diagnosed with Leptospirosis, a virus that can be deadly for dogs but is preventable with a vaccine. "It took over his little 10-pound body and his 100-pound spirit," MaryAnn adds. "His doctor gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving. He is ours now. We promised him he was safe and would be loved for many years to come." MaryAnn is struggling to pay for Eddie's expensive stay in the ICU and is hoping Waggle's giving animal lovers will help her save the sweet dog she took in off Craigslist. "His bloodwork seems to be getting better day by day," MaryAnn says. "The cost is great. We are not rich but are trying to give him a good shot. His doctor is confident after three or four more days in the hospital, he should be stable to come home and make a full recovery, but we need help."
