Milo is an 11 month old come year old yellow Labrador Retriever. He first was bought by me from a breeder as an Emotional Support Animal and has now become my Psychiatric Service Dog which I am training myself. We are both being evicted from our rental house because I am unemployed and have a mental health disability. He needed to be neutered to ensure new housing opportunities. I went to our county humane society and got a voucher for surgery. The bill ended up being between 650 and 700 dollars. The voucher only paid for 250 of the final bill leaving me with almost 400 dollars to pay the vet. The vet, Valley Veterinary Hospital, let me and my dog go home with an IOU of which I can’t pay. I currently live on cash assistance and food stamps due to this disability. Milo is such a sweet Labrador. He loves life, people and other dogs. Due to his work of being my Support Animal he is always there to help me out of crisis, panic and social anxiety. He has the ability to become a great therapy dog to me and others. He gets concerned when he hears or sees someone crying or being unhappy. He also loves dogs that are introverted and are not popular feel welcomed. Unemployment and both savings and retirement money is gone. Living off of food stamps, cas assistance and gig work. I have a Social Security disability insurance application that is not being awarded or investigated yet.

One night, a caretaker from The Purrfect Catch rescue was feeding a community of cats, ensuring they had food, water, and medical care, and while making her final stop, one of the cats, who's name is now Speedbump, started running near her car, causing her to accidentally hit her with her back tire. She stopped immediately and searched for the cat with another couple in the car behind hers. They found this sweet cat, and thankfully, she was alert but obviously panicked and with potential back-end injuries. At the ER, she was placed in an oxygen box and put on some pain medication. She was found to be in stable condition, but X-rays revealed a shattered pelvis, which is a complex diagnosis with a few options for treatment. The team assessed her leg reflexes and determined she will need surgery that will cost between $8,000-$15,000, depending on the complexity of the surgery. This was a tragic accident, and The Purrfect Catch is doing everything they can to get her the proper medical attention she needs and to bring her back to health. With their funds already stretched thin, they are urgently asking for generous donations to help Speedbump heal. Any amount makes a difference. Thank you for your continued support!
Lady
Lady is a 11 month old American Shorthair in Scarborough, ME, who needs $280 for Pyometra Syrgery.

She came into my life from a craigslist ad from a family who couldn't afford her food anymore in northern Maine. She has been a light in my home in Scarborough since then, and we all love her so much. She has a pyometra, and I have 24 hours to get it cleared up bills-wise or else she will have to be euthanized. The surgery is extensive and is a minimum of $5500 where I am. The hospital is MVMC in Scarborough Maine. She is an amazingly sweet girl, friendly with all people and animals, and is not yet a year old. I pray she makes it to that age as she is so deserving and genuinely such an affectionate and adoring animal. If she were healthy again it would truly mean the world to me and my younger sisters in my home-- the youngest being only 7 years old. Her being healthy would restore her light with us and bring us back to our happy states once again.
Snoop

Snoop is a cat who had lived outside as part of a feral colony until she was found with her foot caught in a foot trap (legal in the state where she lived). Snoop was discovered under an old trailer while walking to a neighbor's house one morning. A faint "meow" was heard, when looking under the trailer she was found in the mud with her foot caught in a foot trap designed to catch fox. The person who placed it there did not realize it could also catch and harm cats. Snoop was brought to Jarrettsville Vet Center for care. Despite being a feral cat and loving to run and climb Snoop has been very well behaved while hospitalized at Jarrettsville Vet Center. She enjoys being held during her visit. I am 80 years old and live on a fixed income. The original owners of Snoop would have not treated her injuries, ownership was transferred to get her the care she needs.

Weighing only 3.9 pounds, Afton is a 9-month-old bundle of sweetness wrapped in a delicate frame. Heavenly Paws Shelter placed her in foster care, but not long after, she started regurgitating and was taken to the vet. Afton was diagnosed with megaesophagus, which is a condition where the esophagus becomes enlarged and loses its ability to push food down properly, making eating and drinking extremely difficult. Due to her condition, she is now a long-term foster in need of round-the-clock support. Every feeding must be managed to prevent fluid aspiration, which can turn fatal, so monitoring is essential. Her foster mentions that she's a delightful little girl who loves affection from people and being around other cats. Fortunately, Afton has settled in nicely to her foster home. While her journey thus far hasn't been easy, you would never know it. Heavenly Paws is a relatively small rescue and depends on donations from the public. Buddy is the light of our life, he was given to us at 4 months old after we lost our last dog by a great couple that seen our memorial and knowing how much we love these dogs. Buddy makes every morning we wake up a happy morning he's always such a happy dog. It's killing us to watch him suffer because we can't afford this surgery. He needs a spleenectomy. Please help our baby.. He needs his spleen removed before it rupture's and it's doubled in size so it's urgent!! Even though he's sick he's still a happy dog and Buddy needs this surgery now Everywhere we take him everyone loves him he's a kind soul. Everyone stops and Buddy loves interacting with everyone. He loves riding in the truck hanging out the window We would do anything for Buddy to get better he's only 4 and has a lot more years ahead of him if only he could get this surgery out of the way and return to enjoying his life

Humphrey is my 10-year-old rescue super-mutt and has been by my side since I adopted him at 19. We’ve grown up together—through college, graduate school, and now vet school. He has an unique personality and is adored by his sister Mabel (who has separation anxiety… from him). He’s been my constant through life’s hardest moments, making me a better person, and I just want to be there for him now. Humphrey was diagnosed with a left adrenal tumor—caught early, with no signs of spread or blood vessel invasion. Surgery to remove it would prolong his life, but it requires a specialized care. CSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital can provide that. Insurance will cover $4,500 of the $6,700–$10,000 cost, but I’m responsible for the rest. Acting now gives Humphrey the best chance at a full recovery. Humphrey has been my constant companion through every chapter of adulthood. His worried face hides a heart full of love. People remember him for his name, his calm presence, and his role as a vet school teaching dog—as long as I’m holding him and no one touches his feet. He’s my anchor, my teammate, and the reason I am becoming a vet. I can’t imagine finishing this journey without him by my side. As a 4th-year vet student in clinical rotations, I can’t work. Loans cover living expenses, but not emergency surgery. Helping Humphrey now would ease the burden and allow me to finish school focused—carrying this kindness forward to my future patients and their families.

She got cancer too & crossed the rainbow bridge in September 2021. Mom loves me so much. She never had human kids just fur babies. I have cancer now too. Mom told me she wants to give me the BEST rest of my life this summer. We need your help After bravely beating 2 kinds of cancer in the past 3 years. I got the sad news that I have a nasty bad kinda cancer, B cell lymphoma. My Oncologist Dr. Pagano @ Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Tacoma, WA has the Gold standard treatment plan for me called, CHOP. Even with my awesome insurance my mom can't pay for it all by herself. Unfortunately I don't have a job. Chris is my ride or die guy. He goes Everywhere with me. He's been certified as an emotional support animal. He's won the hearts of my senior parents. Grandpa is in a care home & he always asks for Chris to visit him. At 91 yrs old grandma gets down on her knees for Chris to kiss her goodnight. He's the best snuggler & shows his emotions in his facial expressions. After my first fur baby got sick I swore I would never have a dog without insurance. Chris has the premium plan, but still not enough to cover the costs of his new chemotherapy treatment.

When Castaway Critters Rescue first found Liam on the side of the road he was severely emaciated and suffering from a completely degloved tail. Every day, his dedicated caretakers carefully wrapped his injured tail, and even though this causes Liam some pain, his excitement to see the girls at the vet takes precendence. He’s exceptionally friendly, getting along beautifully with both kitties and other dogs, and he absolutely adores being around people. Initially, the vet feared that Liam’s tail might need to be amputated, but thanks to expert care, it healed remarkably—he only lost the tip of it. Now, with his upcoming neutering and the promise of a forever home on the horizon, Liam’s future looks brighter than ever. However, Liam still needs your support.
