Wally

Wally, affectionately known as the "shop dog," spent 100 days at the CC Animal Services kennel before being adopted by his new owners. Wally has joined an active animal home that includes another dog, pigs, and birds, set in a natural habitat at 4,000 feet elevation outside of Sacramento, CA. He is settling into his new home but urgently needs dental care. Wally entered the kennel as a stray at four years old. His dental issues worsened during the stay, resulting in a broken right canine and additional damage to other teeth on the same side. Despite his positive outlook, Wally experiences pain and sensitivity around his mouth. Dr Raymond at Placerville Animal surgery says he needs $480 of dental work. Wally, a 70-pound bundle of joy, is a happy, low-to-the-ground dog who brings immense joy to his new family. We want to ensure he remains pain-free and happy in our safe home. Addressing his dental issues is crucial to prevent potential reactivity towards our other animals. Wally's new family lives in a homestead area north of Sacramento, California, where they support themselves by raising animals and farming. Officers from the Florence Lauderdale Animal Shelter were called to a property about a dog attacked by other dogs. They were disgusted when they found Red! "He did not receive any medical attention," Cheryl J., with the shelter, tells Waggle. "He was dehydrated and suffering from malnourishment because of the lack of care. Some of his wounds are horrific." Red now needs round-the-clock IV fluids, antibiotics, and hospitalization. He may lose one of his ears. "Bullies are so stoic when it comes to pain, and this must be excruciating," Cheryl says. "But he hasn't tried to nip or growl. He is the sweetest-natured dog. We also think he's thankful to be out of a horrible situation." The Florence Lauderdale Animal Shelter is a municipal facility and can't afford Red's extensive medical care and veterinary bills, but with your help, he can get the second chance he deserves!

For days she has strained over and over to urinate, unable to go, the pressure and pain intensifying. Worried, they pulled together $106 to take her to Urgent Care where an XRY revealed a huge bladder stone, one so large it can only be surgically removed … and that is the problem … they have spent their money diagnosing her problem, and have nothing left. Should we require them to surrender? Should she go to the overcrowded shelter? Should they consider financial euthanasia? No. No. No. Seeing the bond between the elderly couple and Ladybug, the vet techs reached out to see if we could help, so now we turn to you. We want to help. We think Ladybug should stay in the home where she is loved, and we hope you agree. Can you help us raise the money for her necessary surgery?

The group tells Waggle their hearts were shattered to pieces when they found Sophie in unimaginable pain. Her matted hair was slowly killing her by cutting off the blood supply to her delicate paws. Her ears were full of dirt. She was covered in tumors, infection, and rot. This poor girl has likely not been touched by caring hands in years. When the nonprofit group rushed her to the animal hospital, X-rays revealed something in her stomach. Sophie was wheeled into emergency surgery and a veterinarian removed pieces of a shoe. She may have been starving and ate the insoles. Sophie still needs more surgeries to remove mammary tumors, fix her rotten teeth, and be spayed. Everyone is astonished at Sophie's enduring spirit despite her ailments; she even wags her tail! CAMO loves saving senior, special needs, sick, and injured dogs, but it comes at quite a cost to the rescue. Please help poor Sophie get another shot at happiness by giving to her campaign.

Nico is a 6 month old French Bulldog in Medford, OR, who needs $5,000 for Stent Implant.

My kiddo’s dad passed away unexpectedly in 2021 and my oldest daughter has struggled over the years with her mental health and grief. Her therapist recommended a puppy for emotional support. In January, we made Nico a part of our family, and he is the sweetest baby. In just 6 short months, my daughter has formed a deep bond with Nico. She chose his name after Nico DiAngelo from Percy Jackson 🩷 Nico was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition called Pulmonic Stenosis and his case is severe. Without surgery, his prognosis is not good. Washington State University (The Small Animal Teaching Hospital) has recommended Nico have a Stent Implant Procedure. The Cardiologist gave us a good prognosis for Nico, post-operatively. This surgery will SAVE HIS LIFE. Nico is a very special boy for many reasons. His very best friends are his human sisters & brother, but he also has two furry friends named Bella & Tilly that he plays with. Nico makes the funniest noises & he is very energetic. He loves to play, but he also enjoys cuddling up with his humans when it’s nap time. He likes to sleep up on the pillows at the top of the bed like the king of the castle I am a single mother to 3 humans and Nico. I just recently started a new job, and have already drained every penny from my savings paying his bills so far (about 4k) This has been an extremely hard process and unfortunately I don’t have this kind of money, but Nico is family

Sonny was found as stray suffering massive, deep lacerations. Someone obviously held onto him and basically cut him open with a very sharp object. In their rage, they actually cut part of his left ear off Sonny underwent hours upon hours to sew together the massive lacerations caused by the sharp object. He’s lucky the object didn’t cut and artery, or he would have bleed to death Despite being severly abused, Sonny is such a loving dog. He craves human affection and interaction. He refused to walk on a leash at first, but, quickly learned to trust We are a nonprofit that depends on donations to treat and care for dogs like Sonny. Dogs that otherwise would be euthanized. We spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every year on the voiceless

Lumos Ollivander came into my life on an impulse in 2013. I had signed a new lease Monday and was headed to the humane society on Tuesday. I left with two kittens, littermates, Lumos and Oblivion. Fast forward ten years. Currently, Lumos resides in a little cabin in the woods for southwest CO. He lives with his brother, Oblivion Juan Katobe, and bestie, Itty “Bitty” Kitty Committee! On May 2nd, Lumos went in for bloodwork and it was discovered he had hyperthyroidism. He had lost 2.5lbs since his last visit and had a notable lump in his throat. We have been recommended to get Radioactive Iodine treatment to kill the tumor. With this tx, Lumos could be completely cured. We are in discussion with our vet at Durango Animal Hospital about in-patient facilities that provide this. Lumos loves post-shower wet pets from my husband and morning under the cover cuddles with mom. He is Bitty’s best friend and cuddle buddy. He is DEFINITELY the Yang to Oblivion’s Yin. He loves hard pets and squishes; his favorite time of day is “squish time” in his squishmallow in front of the wood burning stove. He enjoys hovering over you while you eat and drinking out of your water cup. With a recent job loss this unexpected expense is hitting hard. We are desperately looking for a cure rather than a “treatment”. Lumos has much more life to live, cuddles to give, closed doors to yell at, and squishes to receive.

My Grandparents were looking for a new puppy after they had to put down their beloved lab. My partner and I helped them with that search and were not planning to get a puppy of our own since we already had two pups. Well, that all changed and we snagged two puppies from that litter. We have Kona and my grandparents have her sister, Roxy. This was in December of 2016. Kona is in surgery as I am typing this for a possible gall bladder rupture. This started with a fever 6 weeks ago that was treated. The fever returned last night and we discovered something major. Kona is a complicated pup and is also on a strict seizure medication regimen. She receives 4 medications twice a day and we have managed to control the seizures over time and many Neurology appointments. My friends and family joke that I am Kona's support human. She is my shadow! She is food-driven, LOVES chasing her ball and rolling on it, playing with her sister Madi, loves the water, car rides, walks, beach days, lake days, boat days, you name it! She's a happy pup! My partner passed away unexpectedly in 2020, so Kona holds a very special place in my heart and I HATE seeing her in pain. After leaving a 12 and half year career in law enforcement to pursue a career in real estate, my income is not consistent since I am still new to real estate. The first visit already set me back $2,800 and this surgery is around $7,700 so far.

Juno is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Brodhead, KY, who needs $1,313 for Leg Amputation.

Juno has been my baby girl for 6 years. She was born under my mom's bed and raised here, along with her two brothers, Freki and Budro. Mixed breed mutts every one of them, but I love them all dearly. Someone shot her and her front leg has a massive hole in it and the bone is broken, along with a gash on her chest from the bullet. I took her to Mt Vernon Animal Clinic and they suggested amputation as the best option given the damage to her leg. Juno is the smallest of the three, but despite being half the size of her two brothers she insists on being top dog. Especially when she's laying on my bed. That is HER spot and she won't let her brothers up there, unless they manage to sneak up there without her noticing. She also likes to hog all the petting. I've been out of work for a long time and every job application I've filled out has gone ignored. I have no money and no income and I can't afford the cost for her surgery. I'm desperate for help and the only other option is having her put down. I can't lose my baby girl.
