Kavalier

Kavalier aka Kav is a ten (10) year old curious and happy kitty. I adopted him and his fraternal twin brother from a friend when they were three (3). She adopted them when they were kittens and named them after the book, The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. They’re inseparable. Kav is a much-loved kitty and brings so much joy to my life. He is just so dang cute, loving, and impossible to resist! Kav is the friendliest kitty. He follows me (Mommy) wherever I go from room to room. You will fall in love with him the minute you meet him. He loves to greet people, then collapses on his side acting cute to get pets whenever he can. He and his brother like to sleep at the end of the bed and keep my feet warm. He is always there to make me, and my partner smile no matter what is going on. He has the loudest purr I have ever heard and it's so endearing. He loves boxes of all sizes, and he sits or lays in ones that are too small for him. During his annual vaccines, he is always complimented on what a sweet boy he is. He has been known to turn multiple "dog people" into "cat people." He is amazing! In Oct, 2020 Kav had an X-Ray that found a chest mass. In Mar, 2021 Kav had repeat X-Rays, and it had grown. In May 2021, he had his first CT and it was found stable. At the vet's direction, I waited 6 months for another CT and it was still stable. He now has to have annual CTs to monitor the mass and is due for it this Dec. 2022. I was laid off during the pandemic and was getting by with unemployment assistance. It has since run out. I have had health issues of my own preventing me from working a full-time job. I am grateful for any financial assistance in helping my beautiful boy thrive for years to
Shredder

Shredder has been with me since before his eyes were open. Him and his litter mates mom was killed by a raccoon in our garage. I spent that summer waking up every free hours and dropper and then bottle feeding them until they were old enough to eat on their own. He has been my baby his whole life. He is my big love bug. Shredder loves to sleep on my head. He would sleep by my neck as a kitten and still wants to. The top of my pillow and my head is the closest he gets. When I’m upset he knows and comforts me. He comes and sits on my chest and purrs and kisses me and cuddles until I feel better. He is my best friend. Shredders favorite place to hang out is inside the bathtub. It doesn’t matter if it’s wet or not. He also walks on a leash whenever we go somewhere. He loves his cat brother and dog sister and I frequently find them all cuddling together. Even older he is so so playful and acts like a kitten. He gives kisses too. We’ve been dealing with this for 5 or so months. The worst for about 3. He bleeds out of his ear constantly. He has a mass that they believe is a polyp and keeps getting infected and causing him so much pain and discomfort. He has a small polyp in his other ear they’ll remove as well. Shredder is my baby. I can’t imagine life without him. It is just me in my household and I have no help. I’m also a student while working and my funds are very tight. It would take me several months to save enough for his surgery.
Sandie
Sandie is a 7-year-old Shih Tzu in Blackstone , MA, who needs $2,000 for Mass Removal.

I got Sandie at about 8 weeks old and. She loves to play with her toys and squeak them when it is time for dinner. She also enjoys playing with the toys when I am trying to watch the television she loves the outside and plays fetch with her ball. She loves going for rides in the car. She will help the cats catch a mouse She is so lovable with everyone even a stranger at the pet store. She loves the attention. She gives hugs when you ask for one. When you’re sad or sick she stays with you until you get better. She will play with the grandkids. The neighbors dog is Brady and she always plays over there with him and he is her best friend. Sandie is special to me cause we both have anxiety and we can calm down together. When she here’s fireworks she will jump on me and I cuddle her until they stop. I got her a weighted kids lap blanket and she loves it. She loves going to the groomer with her best friend Brady. She also loves to go to the veterinary clinic On 12/29/22 she had an emergency surgery she had Pyometra Surgery. She had to stay overnight for the surgery and I cried for her. Now she has to go in for a benign tumor to be removed before it turns into cancer. She has been through so much in a short period of time. 2 surgeries in a month. I am on disability and can’t afford for the surgeries. The first surgery was $3503.48 and now this surgery is going to be about $878.20 to $1,427.18 I wouldn’t be able to not have my companion with me. Sandie and I do so much together.
Opal

Opal was one of nine dogs found living in horrendous conditions inside a home after their owner died. The sweet Dachshund is in hideous shape and excruciating pain! Her lower jaw is fractured, her teeth are rotting, and she has mammary tumors. Now Opal needs emergency medical care to change her life. "Can you imagine trying to eat with a rotting and fractured mouth? She needs multiple surgeries to survive, and we need your help," Leslie H., with Tennessee Dachshund Rescue, which saved Opal, tells Waggle. Leslie says despite Opal's past, she seems determined to live. "She is the kindest, most loving little Dachshund and deserves to live out her dog's years pain-free with a family that loves her," Leslie says. "Please consider donating towards her surgeries and ongoing medical care. Donations have been down for our rescue for a long time, and these happy endings wouldn't be possible without your support."

When the volunteers hear about dogs with the saddest stories and terrible injuries, they can't resist jumping into action. That's what happened when they heard about Puppy Delilha. "We got a call from an animal control agency that an eight-week-old puppy had been attacked by another dog," Katherine Martin, with the rescue group, tells Waggle. The sweet puppy's jaw was broken, and she could not eat. (A Lab that can't eat = big trouble!) "The agency asked if our rescue could help her because she needed surgery," Kathy says. "We paused momentarily and thought, 'Oh my goodness, how are we going to pay for this?' We decided to leap and hoped the net would appear." Someone said, "Be sure to launch a Waggle campaign," and tell them about Puppy Delilah. They've helped us so many times before. So here we are, Waggle, Waggle friends, and dog lovers. We need your help to pay for Delilah's surgery and follow-up medical care -- like X-rays, veterinarian appointments, special food, and care. "Once she is healed up, and out of pain, our hope is she will be up for adoption and be a treasure for her future family," Kathy says. "Thank you so much for your help and support. Mary
Mary is a 3-year-old American Pit Bull in Troy, NY, who needs $2,000 for Heartworm Treatment and Intestinal Blockage Removal.

On the first of the year, I pulled Mary a 3 year old Pit Bull from an underfunded and under supported shelter in Louisianna. Mary did not have much time left before she was expected to be euthanized. We have fostered upwards of 300 pit bulls over the years and our hope was to do the same for Mary. We confirmed a transport and she arrived in Upstate New York to begin her new life. We have learned a lot about Mary over the past couple of months. Shelter life and the transportation was extremely traumatizing for her. She arrived completely petrified. Through this fear, she has attached very closely to myself and my significant other. While our hope is that Mary will find her forever family someday, if that does not happen- we are her family. Ms Mary has some very interesting behaviors. We know that she must have had a tough start in life because at the age of 3, she nurses on blankets. This is a sign that she was taken away from her mom too soon. She is also extremely timid with some people which leads us to believe that she was hurt by someone. That being said, she is incredibly loving to the people she builds trust with! When We pulled Mary, we were under the impression that she was Heartworm Negative. Unfortunately we have found out that she is in advanced stages of heartworm. The x rays also revealed that she has wire in her intestines. She will have to undergo medical treatment that will cost approximately $2500. I have rescued and fostered upwards of 300 dogs, mainly focusing on pulling females that are pregnant. It breaks my heart to say that I do not have the financial means to put Mary through medical treatment as I have many lives to save.
Smash

Smash, the adorable giant dog with a heart of gold, has been a loyal companion to the Pasco County 911 team. He has grown into a strong and dependable working dog despite being rescued at just five weeks old. He provides emotional support services to his human colleagues every week. Whether it's a difficult call or a stressful day, Smash is always there with a wagging tail and warm snuggles to offer comfort and solace. His gentle nature and calming presence have helped countless people cope with the challenges of their job. He also spends his days getting beat up by his Dachshund brothers and sisters and snuggling with his tripod kitten sister. But now, things have changed. A painful injury has left him unable to fulfill his duties and has really knocked him off his paws. He was recently diagnosed with an ACL tear in his right leg and surgery is needed to repair the ligament. "Smash is as gentle, docile, and loving as they come!" Gina at Pasco County Animal Services tells Waggle. "He is an educator in our community, by showing people that a “bully breed” can be the perfect (and not scary!) service dog." Smash deserves to be pain-free and happy because he's given so much happiness to others. Can you help make that possible by donating? Petey
Petey is a 12-year-old Beagle in Geneva, OH, who needs $1,222 for Diagnostic X-rays and Treatment for Heartworm Disease.

Petey was a stray and when no one came for him, he was in grave danger of being euthanized at a small, overcrowded, underfunded shelter, trying to do its best with limited space and resources. Petey is now safe and has a permanent place to live out his remaining years, surrounded by love, thanks to a wonderful group of kind people that volunteered to drive him to The Sanctuary. Petey, despite his pain, has a zest for life, loves humans and canines alike, and has quickly settled into his new life after an initial bout of anxiety. With so many changes, this old man has shown how resilient he can be, once he knows he's safe. He's learned to be a house dog and will bark when he has to go outside or when he wants a treat! Petey's tail never stops waging, even when he's being examined by the vet! He has been diagnosed with heartworm disease, a heart murmur, rotting teeth and an ear infection. His spine, knees and hips are very painful, and his left rear leg is splayed outward, causing him to walk with a limp and a swagger. Lab results show that the heartworms are affecting not only his heart, but his kidneys, his liver and his urine values. Petey has started a 30-day course of doxycycline, treatment for his ear infection and supplements to strengthen his heart as well as pain medications. He will need x-rays and 3 heartworm injections. As a registered animal rescue specializing in the long-term care of animals with medical needs, we rely on donations to pay for vet care. We've already raised funds for Petey's lab tests. Hello my baby boys name is Ratchett he is 6 years old he was a gift from my husband after our boxer of 15 years passed away due to cancer! Ratchett has a sister that lives with him and he loves her to pieces and loves to play with her all the time but since he has had all these issues going on with his skin he has lost a lot of spunk that he once had and it breaks my heart!! Ratchett sleeps with me and my husband every single night along with his sister, ratchett usually enjoys hiking,running,playing fetch, and he also enjoys being lazy sometimes too!! Ratchett still has a lot of life left in him and I want to try to get his cleared up and taken care of so he can enjoy his daily life a little more each day! Ratchett stole my heart from the get go the moment I laid eyes on him I knew we were meant for one another & I’ll do whatever it takes to try to make him better I don’t want to lose my boy, I’ve already been thru that heart break once and he helped heal me and I just can’t and don’t want to let him go anytime soon! Ratchett has a really bad skin irritation and allergies I’ve been taking him to our veterinarian. We love them there they do what they can to help us but unfortunately it’s not enough and that’s why I have reached out to Waggle so I’m begging someone anyone please please help us! My husband just had a stroke making me the only one working and it’s been very tough on me but it would mean the absolute world to me if we got some help for Ratchett and I know he would greatly appreciate it as well! I would give my life to have him be able to live normal
