JJ
JJ is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Lake Mills, WI, who needs $1,000 for Ultrasound and Chest Tap.
Lake Mills, WI
JJ chose me the day I met him, crawling into my lap and flopping onto his back. From that moment, he’s been my whole heart. Through life’s hardest emotional trials, JJ’s docile, steady love has been my anchor. I can’t imagine life without my baby. He deserves more time, and I need to do everything humanly possible to fight for him. Please help me save the most loving soul I’ve ever known. JJ is in a respiratory crisis with severe fluid in his chest. X-rays show a 'white-out,' making it impossible to see his heart or lungs clearly. He is struggling to breathe, and we urgently need a $600 ultrasound and a chest tap to find the exact diagnosis—whether it's heart failure or a fungal infection. Every second counts. Please help me get JJ the testing he needs to breathe again. JJ is more than a dog; he’s been my anchor through life’s darkest storms. From the moment he chose me, flopping into my lap with all four legs in the air, he’s given me a pure, docile love I didn’t know existed. He has a way of sensing exactly when I need him, offering a quiet strength that has gotten me through every trial. JJ is my whole heart, a gentle soul who deserves every chance to fight. I am heartbroken that I can't provide the life-saving tests JJ needs right now. As a nutrition coach and healthcare worker, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others, but I simply don’t have the funds for his $600 ultrasound and chest tap.

Farley
Farley is a 10 year old White English Bulldog in Jefferson, WI, who needs $2,000 for CHOP Method of Chemotherapy.
Jefferson, WI
Farley came into my life when she was 10 months old, now she will be 10 years in a few days! A Facebook post made by a woman in Missouri, looking to re-home an English Bulldog because she was born deaf; she wouldn't make a profit off her. I couldn't bear to think of the type of people who might jump at the opportunity to get a Bully at a bargain. The rest is history! It was love at first nap! Farley was diagnosed with Intermediate to Large T-Cell Lymphoma that presents as a large mass on her lip and swollen lymph nodes, a mass in her rectum, one that is believed to be benign on her liver and likely, Cushing's Syndrome. She has, up until this point been a happy, healthy, thriving little meatball. Now, our best hope at extending her life and improving her quality of life is chemotherapy. Farley is the embodiment of pure, unconditional love. She has stood by my side through loss and dark times, her loyalty has never faltered. She exudes joy. She deserves the world. Unfortunately, I can't give her that, but with any luck and with your help, I can give her this treatment, and as always, a whole lot of love. Farley knows no strangers- you are all just friends she hasn't met yet! $15-$20,000 is a lot for anyone and I am not the exception to that rule. I work as a special education para, and while my job leaves me feeling very rewarded and fulfilled it doesn't do much in the way of padding my wallet. This estimate was overwhelming to say the least!

Farley
Farley is a 10 year old Old English Bulldog in Jefferson, WI, who needs $2,000 for CHOP Method of Chemotherapy.
Jefferson, WI
Almost 10 years ago, I came across Facebook post. A woman (breeder) was looking to rehome deaf English Bulldog puppy because she couldn’t sell her, and it was love at first sight. I couldn’t imagine the bad people who might jump at the opportunity to bring a Bully into their home “for a bargain” because she had disability, so I sent a message and the rest is history. It was love at first nap. Recently Farley was diagnosed with intermediate to large T cell Lymphoma. Using the CHOP method of chemotherapy would greatly improve her quality of life and extend her life, but the cost of treatment is $15,000-$20,000! As a special education para professional, I just don’t have that. She will be receiving care at Madison Veterinary Specialties in Madison, WI. I be live she will be in good hands! Farley is the embodiment of pure, unconditional love. She has stood by my side through loss and dark times, her loyalty has never faltered. She is the absolute love of my life. She deserves the world, and I can’t give her that, but with any luck and your help I can give her this treatment and as always, a whole lot of love. Farley knows no strangers- you all are just friends she hasn’t met yet! $15,000-$20,000 is a significant amount of money. As a special education paraprofessional, I feel very fulfilled and rewarded in my work, but simply do not make enough to cover these bills. I have a chronic illness of my own (recently diagnosed as well). Finances are tight!

Lena
Lena is a 4 year old Siberian Husky in Waupun, , who needs $2,000 for CCL Surgery.
Waupun
Lena was adopted from a humane society after being abandoned. It took her a while to really let her guard down and to build a real bond with us. There have been times I've been told to surrender her to another shelter, but I refuse to let this beautiful girl go through that pain again. She has made herself an irreplaceable member of our family. Lena has recently torn her CCL playing with her little brother Levi. When we noticed her change in behavior, we took her to a vet clinic that was open. There they informed us she most likely tore her CCL. They gave us painkillers and said she would eventually need surgery. We scheduled an appointment with Madison Veterinary Specialists. Lena is a very caring, gentle, and lovable dog. She makes friends wherever she goes. Her maternal instincts kick in when she hears someone or even another animal crying/in pain. She loves cuddling and being close to others. Lena has the eyes of a foodie; she could eat just about anything you give her. She is unstoppable and continues to make us smile even through her pain. Being a college student in debt, it is stressful navigating this situation. I am currently a full-time college student working two part-time jobs. There is not enough money to provide Lena the surgery she needs. It would mean a lot to see Lena run and play again.

Teddy
Teddy is a 1 year old American Cocker Spaniel in West Salem, WI, who needs $2,000 for Renal Failure - Hemodialysis.
West Salem, WI
Prior to this sudden and heartless crime, Teddy was a very healthy and full of life one year old cockerspaniel. He is endlessly adored by not only his two dog parents, but our 3 children as well. We went into the new year with 2 very healthy and full of life dogs occupying our home, Charlie Finn and Teddy Mac. Due to one very harmful individual, we are doing everything we can to ensure our home remains filled with the endless love and laughter Teddy brings. Our two beloved dogs were poisoned, Teddy still has a fighting chance. He is receiving care at Madison Veterinary Specialists. As soon as you enter our home the giggles of our three children will fill your ears, and Teddy is always front row and center to all of the action. If he is not inside chasing toys or children, he is outside hopping through the snow, leaves, or mud with his tongue flying beside him. After pouring thousands of dollars into extraordinary measures to save Charlie’s life, we are not capable of providing the entirety of Teddy’s care needed to save his life. We have only had the chance to adore Teddy for 1 year, he deserves more time. We need more time.
Hugo
Hugo is a 6 year old Great Dane in Dodgeville, WI, who needs $2,000 for Cranial Cruciate Surgery.
Dodgeville, WI
We were fortunate to come across and rescue Hugo from a farm in Iowa when he was just 9 weeks old. And a good thing, we were told prior he had been to the vet and dewormed, I asked for those records when we picked him up, and they stated they forgot. We tried numerous times to contact them after that, but they went dark. Hugo's first visit to our vet showed he was full of worms. Hugo is now 6 1/2 and needs Cranial Cruciate Surgery (same as ACL for humans) on his hind left leg. Despite his painful limp, Hugo still greets my husband daily with full vigor when he comes home from work. He will be having his procedure done at Madison Veterinary Specialists Hugo completely stole our hearts at first sight, he helped us through the hardships that have come our way over the years with his unconditional love. Hugo is not just a pet, but family; another child that we will do anything for. In our eyes, he is the most handsome, sweet, loving, and biggest fur baby you can imagine. He makes us laugh and smile every single day of our lives. My husband had a couple of medical setbacks and now work. A customer went way over budget with other contractors and now there's not enough money to pay. We just want him to have the best outcome with surgery so he can enjoy his senior years pain-free

Noodle
Noodle is a 14 year old Mix-Breed in Stoughton, WI, who needs $1,400 for ACT Pre-Surgury Scan.
Stoughton, WI
Our love was destined to be. I went to a closing puppy mill and crouched down to the playpen full of puppies and said ¨Who wants to be my baby?" She was the only one that ran over to me and the rest is history! We live in a house in the country now with a fenced in yard and 2 other rescued dogs. She sleeps around my head at night. She is the first of the pack of 5 rescues I have had over the years Noodle has a lipoma growing over her heart for a couple years now. I has gotten so large, softball size, that her little body can sustain it anymore. It has started to die which will kill her. She will eventually become immune to the antibiotics used to treat the infection caused when the tissue starts to die. She will be seen at Madison Veterinary Specialists on Sept. 5th. for surgical consult. Noodle is so very energetic for a 14 yr. old dog. She is always happy and she lays down and rolls on her back everytime she meets a small child. She loves to voice her opinion and follow me every where. She is adored by my family and everyone she meets. She deserves a chance for more adventures. Other than the lipoma she is very healthy! I have been working full time just barely getting by meeting there normal veterinary needs these days. I have bad credit from a while ago that prevents me from borrowing money. For her to have more time with me would mean the world to me. Please Help!

Tut
Tut is a 9 year old Tonkinese in Milwaukee, WI, who needs $2,000 for Biopsy of Laryngeal Mass.
Milwaukee, WI
My parents gifted me with Tut and his sister Cleo when I was 15. I was going through a hard time at school; I was severely bullied and depressed. I was also still accepting my father’s death. Tut is now 9 and has been with me throughout my time in college and living away from home. He has been present for a lot of my firsts as I navigate adulthood. He is truly such a sweet cat! Tut has always had some breathing issues but unfortunately was rushed to the emergency vet back in January of this year for what we initially thought was asthma. However, Blue Pearl diagnosed him with a laryngeal mass a few months ago and Madison Specialty Veterinary recently quoted us over 2k in order to perform a biopsy on the mass so we can determine if it is cancerous or another ailment. Tut loves everyone. Truly everyone. He has a half sister named Cleo who he is bonded to. I have a third cat, Yzma, who he tries so hard to love despite the fact she won’t allow it. Tut weighs about 15 pounds but makes it a point to lay directly on my chest- he’s basically a weighted blanket. Even now at his sickest moments he makes it a point to seek me specifically out to lay with me. I’m a government employee who does not have the opportunity for overtime.I am also at the low end of the government pay scale. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a better paying job and took the job so I could receive medical care for my own consisten health issues.

Frodo Barkins
Frodo Barkins is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Clinton, WI, who needs $2,000 for Tibeal Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.
Clinton, WI
Frodo Barkins came into Nathan and Heather's life shortly after they first moved in together in 2017. They had agreed not to get a dog for a while, but within a month rescued Frodo after meeting him. Frodo has a complete ACL tear in his back leg. He is not able to bear any weight on it and is in a lot of pain. He has become quite depressed due to his limited movement and pain. Frodo will be getting surgery at Madison Vet Specialists in Madison, Wisconsin with John Silbernagel. Frodo Barkins is a loyal, kind-hearted, goofy, and loving good boy. He is a proud brother to Norah, and tolerates her taking his toys or his bed. He loves to snuggle, chase squirrels, and sit under the dining table to wait for fallen table scraps. He is known for having a stock-pile of stolen socks from every member of the family. He is the best dog and we hate seeing him in pain. Frodo's surgery will cost $4,500 is a sudden, unexpected expense that we were not prepared for. We are appreciative of any help as we navigate this big expense in order to get our Frodo healed and back to his happy, energetic self.

Mindy
Mindy is a 11 year old Maltese in Cottage Grove, WI, who needs $2,000 for Total Ear Canal Ablation.
Cottage Grove, WI
I have been Mindy's human for almost 10 years now. My family adopted her in 2014 and when I moved out of the family home, Mindy came with me. We currently live in my apartment and she's been quite the spoiled dog. I can definitely say she has more beds than I do. She loves to sit in the sun during summertime and hang out with me on the sofa in winter. I found out recently that Mindy needs to have a double TECA - Total Ear Canal Ablation. In essence, her ear canals are to be removed on both sides. Over the last several years, the vet has done what they can to treat the chronic ear infections caused by obstructed ear canals, but recently, one of her ear drums burst from infection and there is a fear that the infections might become untreatable. Mindy is not only my Emotional Support Animal, but she's also the cutest and most loving dog a person could ask for. While she tolerates other animals, she's really in it for butt scratches and attention by my family and friends (and roommates and kids and random people). She brings a calm and silliness to my life that's quite irreplaceable. Living on a single income continues to be a struggle and this large expense was not only unexpected but it became urgent. I desperately want Mindy to be happy, healthy and pain free.

Jidovi
Jidovi is a 10-month-old Caucasian Shepherd in Bernard, IA, who needs $2,000 for Bilateral Luxating Patella and Total Hip Replacement Surgery..
Bernard, IA
Jidovi and Bukovac are my Caucasian Shepherds from Romania. These two beautiful puppies are 10 months old and are still growing boys. My handsome Jidovi started limping from his right hind leg and then just dragging the leg. His vet took x-rays and found Jidovi has hip dysplasia and his patella (knee caps) are popping out. Jidovi needs surgery for both. Right now he is in so much pain. Jidovi is usually a very happy boy and loves to play with his brother. He also loves playing with my two sons and husband otherwise Jidovi is always with me and wants cuddles and belly rubs. He loves the shower and will randomly walk into the shower and bark to tell us he wants his shower. Jidovi loves car rides and going to the pet store to hang out and meet people. Very well behaved and social. Jidovi loves to wake me up with his wet nose and pawing when he wants something. His favorite toy is a stuff squeaky lion and pink pig. Jidovi likes to lay next to me and if I do not give him attention he will paw, whimper and click his teeth till I give belly rubs and if I laugh he will sneeze. Jidovi started limping from his right hind leg and I noticed his paw looked swollen so I had the vet (which by the way is his girlfriend, he gets so excited when he sees the vet 😁.)look at the leg and do xrays. My handsome Jidovi has hip dysplasia and his patella (knee cap) keeps popping out. From the x-rays he needs total hips and knees replace. Madison Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Clinic. Copper
Copper is a 6-year-old Catahoula Mix in Prairie du Sac, WI, who needs $2,000 for 3-5 Mass Cell Tumor Removals, and (If Necessary) Penile Amputation.
Prairie du sac, WI
Copper chose us in March 2021. We drove a couple hours to visit him at his foster; we immediately knew he was meant for our family and brought him home. "Hoping Fur a Home", his rescue organization, mentioned he was around 4 years old. He had spent a couple years being a stray in Texas, but at the time they rescued him he had been tied up on a short leash in a small cage. It took Copper about 6 months to enjoy playing with toys; it seemed odd to us since we thought it was in his nature to. Unfortunately, being a stray for so long forced him to choose life-needs over playtime. He, however, caught on with commands pretty quickly; he sits, lays down, shakes (can do either paw), rolls over, and stays still. Of course, treats allowed all this to happen pretty easily. Copper loves toys that squeak and anything with peanut butter on it. His Catahoula breed makes him a great small game hunter - he loves to chase chipmunks and squirrels around our neighborhood. He will do anything for a butt scratch or a belly rub. He loves to meet new human friends especially if they have treats. Recently, a couple lumps were found in Copper's groin area. After getting them sampled, we were notified they are mass cell tumors (MCT). In order to determine the severity and magnitude of these tumors, they need to be surgically removed. Unfortunately, the largest tumor is on his prepuce, and to hope for good margins (space around the tumor) may require penile amputation. Due to the type of surgery that is needed, the cost has dramatically increased than what it would typically be for a MCT removal. We are saving as much as we can, but the required cost has been a significant unexpected expense.

Baxter
Baxter is a 9-year-old Boston Terrier in Birnamwood, WI, who needs $2,000 for a CT Scan, Diagnosis, and Treatment.
birnamwood, WI
Baxter was born in Millbrook Alabama, August 18th 2012. we adopted him from a Craigslist ad and he's been with us ever since. we moved to Wisconsin when Baxter was about three because Alabama is too hot. part of the reason we chose the property we ended up with was based on the dogs, meaning we have about half an acre of fenced in property, flat, for them to enjoy. since we are both disabled Baxter has literally never been alone a day in his life. his day starts out with a light breakfast with his daddy, depending on whether it's summer or winter here, either goes outside and plays or he's on the couch with his mama watching TV. in the afternoons most days it's in the car to pick up the mail and then he gets his, then he gets his toys and bones for the night Baxters biggest and most unique characteristic is the fact that he is a talker, I posted a video of him yelling at me because he didn't get his cookies fast enough. most people when they hear them think he's a cat. his other trait is the elegant way he walks, he is a prancer. his favorite toys are the knee bones that you can buy from the store. Baxter has a tumor in his head, his vet is kronenwetter veterinarian hospital, however Madison hospital has his records now because they're the only ones in the area that will perform a CT scan. at this point it looks like the Madison veterinary University hopefully will be removing his tumor I'm not sure yet. other than this he is completely healthy and normal. I am a disabled veteran I make exactly $157.60 a month from the government. I have mental health challenges, including past suicide attempts. Baxter has been my rock for the last 10 years, his life may literally be my life.

Ace
Ace is a 1-year-old Chihuahua in Beloit, WI, who needs $2,000 for surgery for patellar luxation.
Beloit, WI, WI
My boyfriend last year rescued Ace from his friend who did not have the money to provide for his basic needs. A few months after he adopted Ace my boyfriend had a house fire and they have spent the last year trying to rebuild their life. They now live in an apartment and he is so spoiled and loved. Ace sleeps cuddled up between my boyfriend and I or with his "brother" aka my boyfriend's 12 year old son. He loves burrowing into piles of blankets and napping. He loves to play wrestle with us and he also enjoys running around outside with squirrels and bunnies. He is so fast. He is our furry baby and my boyfriend's little sidekick. He rides with him in the car all the time. My boyfriend just got settled into a new job and is trying to catch up on all of his bills. I am a teacher, I don't make very much and the little I make barely covers my bills. The doctor said it could cost $1500-3000 per leg and he needs surgery in both legs. Ace has a condition called patellar luxation. It is basically where his knees pop out of place and it can cause wear & tear on his leg bones. We never noticed anything wrong until a few days ago he was limping really bad and didn't want to put pressure on his back legs. We took him to the ER in the middle of the night and they said he's at stage 3 out of 4. It's really bad & it requires surgery. All of the neighbors in the apartment building love Ace, especially the kids. Ace has been my boyfriend's best friend & a bit of emotional support partner through everything over the last year. He gave him someone to love on when he felt like he had no one. I have only known Ace for 6 months but he is a sweet little guy who deserves a chance. He means the world to my boyfriend and his kid.

GHOTTI
Ghotti is a Pitbull puppy in Sun Prairie, WI, who needs $2,000 for femur repair.
Sun Prarie, WI
Ghotti has been such a light in my life. He was born unto our family on June 30th 2021 with seven other siblings. I have taken care of him since birth. I’ve watched him grow every day of his life. His mother is my older dog. They live together and do everything with one another. He is big on the outside but sweet as pie on the inside. Ghotti is loving and will lick you all day if you let him. He loves to chew on his toys. He loves to cuddle and stretch out anywhere he can. He is always greeting guest at the door with a smile and lots of kisses. He is always the first awake and the last to go to sleep at night. He sleeps with each one of my children myself included. I am a single mother of two. I am just starting to recover from pandemic hardship. I don not have any emergency funds available to me. I would mean the world to me to receive any assistance in getting my dog's leg fixed. He is still a puppy and has lots of life in him yet. Ghotti is currently inpatient at Madison Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Yesterday our neighboring business broke a piece of our fence and he got out. He was possibly hit by a car and drug across the pavement. It is unsure as the witness are not being honest. He suffers from multiple abrasion and a broken femur in his leg. The way he doesn’t know how big he is makes my whole family laugh. He will try and fit in the tiniest places even though he can not. He sleeps on his back with both legs up in the air. It makes us giggle every time. Also he snores. Which no one in my family had ever seen a dog do. He gives paw which he has been doing since he was six weeks.

Kilo is a 4-year-old Domestic in Milton, WI, who needs $1,500 for Bladder Surgery.
Milton, WI
Kilo is 4.5 years old. My daughter found him on a farm. I have Epilepsy, kidney, diease, Lupus and many many other things. We are emotionally connected to each other, he is my lil boy. In June I had a Grand Mal Seizure and died, he went to my daughter & was meowing, crying running back in forth until she got up & followed him to me, he saved my life. Kilo loves everyone in our house, but spends the most time on top of me, I'm disablyand sometimes I think he's glued to me. Sometimes I can't even go to bathroom without him next to me. He is just the funniest cat ever. But he is my baby boy. I don't know what I would do with out him. It scares me to think about that I'm disabled I have Epilepsy, kidney diease, lupus, C.O.P.D, severe Asthma, PCOS, Rheumatoid arthritis & many more. My lawyer is fighting my appeal & I'm just on unemployment with me and my three kids. I've used all my money on this so far & I don't wanna give up. June 10, 21 he was neutered, two days later he wasn't urinating could move, in pain. His urethra was plugged so he stayed 2 weeks in ER, got better was doing great, until last night he was straining to pee, and in pain, puking. They found a hole in his bladder & needs surgery. They told me he would need to be put down if I couldn't pay. I'm so scared. I've had 2 panic attacks today. Kilo is not like many cats. He's so funny. He does little tricks and he lives to our and be petted and lounge. He's as very loving cat and always needs to be buried in someone's neck. He sleeps there. He roams the house thinking he owns it. Which we let him think that of course. He lives lounging in windows and looking outside. Loves the sun also.

Sawyer
Sawyer is a Basset Hound in Edgerton, WI, who needs $2,000 for premature closure of the ulnar physis.
Edgerton, WI
We took our 6 month old boy to the vet for a limp and of course he needs surgery. One of his bones in his leg is unable to grow anymore causing him great pain and discomfort. We just want our lil guy to be able to grow and live a happy healthy life. Living paycheck to paycheck makes it almost impossible to be able to afford this on our own. Any donations would be a huge blessing to us. Sawyer is the goofiest most loving little guy. He never leaves my side whether im cleaning around the house or sleeping all day. He has an older brother whose an 8 year old rottweiler who adore eachother. They play and sleep together every day. Sawyer was such a perfect addition to our family, my heart just breaks seeing him uncomfortable and now be able to run and play like he should Im 27 and have lived paycheck to paycheck since i was 18. I pay all my bills on time and am able to keep food in the fridge but i sure am not financially stable enough to afford this surgery. Im reaching out, desperate, in all the ways i can. There isn't much medical background in his short little life so far other than this unexpected bone growth problem. One of the growth plates in his arm closed prematurely causing it to stunt his bone development. We are taking him to the Veterinary specialist in madison wisconsin to undergo surgery. The sooner he can get the surgery the bettter. Sawyer is the silliest dog ive ever had. He has a very quirky personality and is pretty darn smart for his age. He LOVES people and other animals. Ive just fallen so in love with this dog, seeing him in pain is heart wrenching. Being a dog mom is my biggest calling in life and i just want to give this guy the life he deserves
