Bubbles was given to my daughter for her 11th birthday. She was only 6 months old. She was so shy and cried about everything. Poor baby, but she eventually opened her shell. Hi my baby’s name is Bubbles, she’s a sweet loving girl. Loves to be loved and loves back. Bubbles has a bubbly personality, likes going on walks, enjoys the beach and playing on the sand. She likes humanity and enjoys playing with kids and other pets., She’s a great friend. Unfortunately 5 days ago at 7am she got runed over by a careless driver. That just dragged her under his van and kept goin. Bubbles is a part of our family, she protects our children and chickens. Great gard dog, but friendly. We love her, and would miss her dearly if we can not help her. The vet appointments to find out what is wrong with her back are expensive. The x-rays were $500 The CT scan is about $2,000 and we still do not know how much the surgery will cost. We do not have that money.

Herbert has been a part of our life for 1 year now- we celebrated his 1st birthday at the end of April. He was adopted last year in Georgia and then we moved for a job when he was just 3 months old. We now live in Charleston, South Carolina and spend our time playing at dog parks, charming strangers, and bringing joy to those around us. We are seeking help to treat a complicated case that brings endless questions and hopefully soon answers. Herbert was admitted to the hospital BluePearl June 25 and was transferred to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) June 29th. He is in a very fragile state currently and needs additional supports to find the answers. His case is an anomaly none of the vets have seen before. Herbert is special because he brings love and joy to all those that he meets. He loves meeting new dog friends and his favorite pal is a great dane who dwarfs him. He loves belly rubs, playing chase with his ball, and cuddling with his dog brothers. Herbert loves following his mom around and shadows her everywhere she goes looking for a cuddle or quick squeeze of affections. You are always told you should prepare for your pets needs, but you’re never prepared when those costs greatly exceed the realm of what you ever imagined needing. All we want is for Herbie to be better and I’m devastated that we may have to stop his care before he is better.

I saw an ad for puppies for sale and fell in love with the fuzzy faces advertised. I drove over an hour out in a wild rainstorm to go meet the babies and this sweet little guy met me nose to nose and immediately chose me. Our "gotcha day" is April 9th, 2013. We've been together through all the major changes in life since then for 11 years. Mosby has been diagnosed with a nasal carcinoma and while it is small and slow growing his very best chance is to have it removed surgically. We have a quote from the Animal Surgical Center of Michigan to have it removed. Mosby is not only a family pet, he's been a part of our community as well. He had his very first job as a greeter at a non-profit I worked at and occasionally pops in now for a visit at my mom's small business. Everyone that meets Mosby loves him, he is a part of our daily routine and has been a part of EVERY BIG moment in my life. Moving out, marriage, pregnancy... all of it. I have exhausted my financial resources just for all of his treatment and diagnosis up until now, and his surgery will cost up to $6000 to have it covered. I work full time and part time while raising 3 children and my husband works full time.

Tina is her name😀 tina & rick was born shortly into the pandemic to a stray cat whom we had rescued. "Kiwi" short for crazy cat. The litter was born one week apart from a puppy litter we had just had. It came time for the fur babies to find forever homes, as time went on as time went on two of the puppies and Tina began to bond this would be their forever home. Tina likes to take weekly ventures outside she always stays close to home in a yard or in the driveway, 2 days ago there is a very noticeable wound on her hind side, and after taking her to the veterinarian today I was informed that she could have possibly got into a fight with another cat and may have been bitten which caused a abscess that burst now needing surgery for the wound. Tina's best friend is Bay Bay where you find baby you'll normally find Tina.I often wish I spoke cat because Tina always has something to say, if she's not making muffins while cuddled up to you she's on the back porch wishing she can go outside and roll on the ground. She's so funny, picky about her food and always comes when called. Since 2019 it seems like one foot forward and 25 steps back. Dad stroke, unemployment pandemic, unexpected new pets. Trying to catch up, December 2023 brother murder another step back I'm just trying to keep it together.

Frankie (A.k.a. pork rind) Is nine years old. She has been with us since she was a puppy. When we went to pick her up, we were going to get a Frank(male dog) and when we seen her brothers pushing her around at the food bowl, we decided to bring her home instead. She started having difficulty walking and an MRI revealed damage to T 13 through L1 hypoplastic articular facets and subarachnoid diverticulum. This has caused a cyst to form on her spinal column affecting her spinal cord and causing it to narrow And as a result, she has lost the function of her back legs. Frankie is a very social dog and thrives on making people laugh and pay attention to her. We used to teach a children’s church class and we would take Frankie. Some of the children were in difficult situations. Frankie would always help him smile and laugh and giggle. She has much left to contribute to the world and make us a better place. The surgery that she needs cost approximately $12,000. We have already paid $3300 for the MRI. We are trying to raise an additional $8000 so we can proceed with surgery. The surgery will hopefully halt the progression of this disorder.

I have an adorable Pitbull mix named Homer, who I rescued 4 years ago. Homer and I need your help to raise money for his two upcoming leg surgeries. Unfortunately, soon after adopting Homer I found he had a luxated Patella which would eventually lead to a CCL tear. This is a common occurrence in larger dogs, but, of course expensive surgery is the only way to repair this injury. In January Homer tore his right CCL. His left CCL tore in May. The lowest I have been quoted for the TPLO surgery on both legs is $9,000 total. His first surgery is scheduled for July 19, 2024 Homer is so playful, energetic, goofy and loving. He is the light of so many lives! With adults, he know that you know what to do with the toy/ball he will undoubtedly bring you and with kids he is gentle and curious and playful too. He is a strong guy but really all he wants to do is PLAY. Being able to provide this surgery to Homer will mean so much for his quality of life. He is so playful and just wants to be a dog again, he wants to sprint around and play with the ball so badly. Though he is middle aged he is still such a puppy at heart.

Feb. 2023 While working as a Vet Tech Cairo was brought to our hospital for EUTHANASIA. He was not supposed to be my patient but I ending up taking his appointment. He was diabetic and not being treated for it. His owner said that he seemed to be in pain. I fell in love with him and made arrangements to adopt him. That was 16 mos ago. He gets insulin twice daily. He turned 14 on 5/1. He is perfect Cairo ended up at 2 ER’s the last few wks. Labored breathing, yellow nasal discharge, bloody drool, ocular discharge. He has ulcers under his tongue and on gums and abscessed teeth. 3 days no food or water and BG was crazy high. Feeding tube placed, Convenia injection, pain meds. Calicivirus test neg. Cancer? 6/20 he is having teeth extracted and biopsy. Piscataqua Animal Hospital Kittery ME Cairo fit perfectly into his new home with 5 feline siblings, a dog, bird, + turtle. He literally follows me everywhere I go! He wakes up out of a dead sleep if he senses me leaving the room. He has the loudest meow and the most fierce headbutts! He loves to be held and carried. I can’t picture my life without him and he has PLENTY of life left in him and love to give! He is a fighter, my BFF! We both work full time. Cairo and his brother are insulin dependent diabetics and his sister is on meds for hyperthyroidism, and Alveolar bone expansion. I’ve spent almost 2k in ER visits already for Cairo and he will not heal without surgery + he needs an oral biopsy.

We adopted Rudy from a small breeder in February of 2020. He is a Christmas Eve pup with his birthday being December 24th, 2019. We got Rudy with the intention of him being an emotional support animal to help relieve depression, anxiety and stress brought on by PTSD from past events. We named Rudy after a dearly loved family dog we had that we lost to a dog attack. Rudy was recently diagnosed with Intervertabral Disc Disease also known as IVDD by an animal urgent care in Papillon, NE on the evening of June 9th, 2024. He was just fine that morning, but when we arrived home in the afternoon we noticed he was having a hard time walking ultimately leading to him tumbling over after standing. Rudy is a very lovable and cuddly dog. He loves everyone he interacts with, even kids. Rudy was named after a dog we had in the past. That dog died due to injuries sustained during an attack by 2 neighboring dogs when he was out on a walk. I recently had surgery that did not go as initially planned and will need to repeat the surgery here soon. My work has me on leave due to weight lifting restrictions set in place by my surgeon. I am a custodian for a school district and already live paycheck to paycheck.

Kira (aka Peaches) showed up in my social media feed with a plea for Foster or adoption otherwise she was scheduled for Euthanasia. We picked her up Sunday and she instantly became a member of our family. My 2.5 year old twins and my 12 year old loved her instantly, and she returned the love with tons of wet slobbery kisses. We want to be able to spoil her and provide a long life for her. Kira was hit by a car in Texas before being picked up by the Shelter. A vet wrongly stated her bone could just heal over time. She currently has a fractured radial-ulna that is a complete break and needs surgical repair. She is ineligible for insurance as its considered preexisting. We are trying to have it fixed by HRVSS which specialized in ortho repairs. Kira, splint and fractured pelvis arrived and immediately greeted everyone with kisses. She enjoys lounging around, and always wants to be snuggled next to one of us. She is unbelievably obedient and loyal already (I think she knows she is very loved) and aims to please. She is gentle with my 2 two year olds and immediately became friends with Baxter (my other dog) We do not have any emergency funds available, we are already in debt for appliances breaking, previous dog's cancer diagnosis, care, and burial, plus the cost of 2 toddlers and 4 older kids. I've reached out to every agency in our state, and so far nothing to show.
