My son's full name is Atticus "Bobby Brown" Valadez. We went to West Covina to pick him up. Hes such a wonderful cat. Hes loving and a bit of a rascal. We live in Anaheim. He has a partner named Queeny. They cant live without each other. I've done everything I can. Im maxed out on credit cards and I need help for my boy to survive. He needs a Colectomy. I will do anything to save my baby boy. This began last year in December. He was backed up. We took him to an emergency pet hospital in Anaheim. They gave him 2 enemas and sent him home. He was fine. Then last week he couldn't use the litter. We took him to vip animal hospital in Fullerton CA. They gave him 2 enemas and said he had Megacolon. I was broken. We took him home but he still couldn't poop. I took him back. Atticus loves to talk. Hes so vocal. As soon as I wake up he greets me with loving meows. Which means feed me. He loves to jump on me and my daughter. He thinks he's a small cat. But he's a big boy. He plays with Queeny they chase each other. Hes only 6 years old. He needs more time. Hes such a curious boy. If im on my phone to long he will knock it out of my hand the stinker. I love him so much. I had a great job unfortunately the company closed. I've been struggling but found another job. Starting over takes time. My daughter is in school and works. We can barely make rent but we manage. I spent all I had left in my savings to take Atticus to the vet.

Meeko

I got Meeko when I first up and moved from MA to FL. He is my soul dog, who got me through all of my 20s into my 30s. He is the sweetest most gentle soul who loves his mom so much and it breaks my heart to see such an aggressive disease take days away from us. I don’t have a husband or children, just my two dogs who I love more than I can put into words. Meeko just got diagnosed with bone cancer and a very rapidly growing tumor on his leg at blue pearl hospital in maitland. He is getting an amputation this week, and starting chemo/physical therapy asap. There is a trial called ELIAS that is going to cost an additional 12k (on top of the 14k for just chemo and the surgery). Meeko is a mommy’s boy, and follows me around everywhere (even with pain in his leg he still follows me everywhere). He is a lover boy and the sweetest soul, and I can not imagine life without him. He has a very hyper puppy sister who he is very patient with even though I know he wishes he was the only child 😂 (he was for 9 years). The job I had worked at for 6 years unexpectedly closed down, so I took out a credit card with a limit of 12.5k hoping that would cover the costs, but with the 12k ELIAS treatment and it only being a 33% success rate I can not afford a total of 26K+ 😭

Meet Pokey Jane Wilmeth. She has been my companion since 2017, when she landed in my backyard because a friend rented a non-pet-friendly apartment. My English Setter, Jackson, had been put down in early 2016, my husband had died in 2010 at the age of 56 (I was 52), so Pokey was a gift from God. She came, however, at a difficult time in life, financially (still is) and was intact when I got her. Pokey has been diagnosed with an open pyometra today (4/29/26), and after a $475 vet bill she has been scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, May 5th. To the tune of a max of $4750. at VCA Centreville Veterinary Hospital in Virginia. Pokey is a mixed beagle/pitbull, and she talks to me. She is the most loyal creature, who knows when I am happy, and sad, and quietly reminds me that all will be well with her cuddles and licks. She loves her cousins (my son's dogs) and his small children - she is eager to befriend other dogs, instantly jealous when I pay attention to others, and listens to me when I talk to myself. My husband died in 2010, with two children in college. It was the start of a downward spiral. I declared bankruptcy to not lose our home, am paying off 25 years of marital debt, I have no emergency savings: live paycheck to paycheck. I want Pokey healthy for her own good

Roxy is a five-year-old female who was born outside to an outdoor cat. She’s been an absolute gem in our life. We love her so much. She loves exploring hunting, loving eating. She has outdoor in her blood, so we try to keep her as an indoor cat just did not work. She constantly was begging and trying to escape but now after being an explore, she has come into unfortunate circumstances I’m not sure 48 hours ago I noticed that she was not putting any weight on her front right paw I examined I can’t find any external damage to the paw. Her ears seem to be scratched other than that. She seems to be OK but she’s now been 48 hours and she’s not eating she’s not drinking. She’s not defecating. She only urinated one time. I am severely concerned as her well-being equals my well-being. She’s a lover. She just wants to be loved very friendly, very energetic very active. She loves hunting which for all the critters outside it’s not the best thing because she definitely is taking her fair share of little rodents and winged things and she constantly is bringing them to me to show me her lovely lovely presence. As per every person in America, we are financially strapped as life goes these days every other financial situation as far as food rent gas is outrageous and unfortunately, I just don’t have extra funds to deal with this situation.

Flynn came into our lives at just the right time, shortly after I lost my mother & nephew. My son who is autistic has a strong bond with her & considers her his best friend & emotional support companion. Friday April 17th, I noticed a rash on her lower mammary glands & quickly gave her an oatmeal bath to help. Then her mammary glands started to swell. 04/21 she was treated for allergies. Friday 04/24 she had blood work & today 04/30 she has been diagnosed with false pregnancy w/possibility of pyometra & needs to be spayed urgently. She's now tentatively scheduled for a spay on 05/05. Flynn is our 3 yr old female rottweiler who is our family's heart-dog. My son, who is on the autism spectrum, bonded with her immediately & considers her his best friend & emotional support companion. She entered our family as we had just lost my mother & nephew. Flynn has licked away almost every tear & given us 100's of snuggles when we needed them most. She absolutely adores everyone she meets! My small business has slowed to the point I must close. My husband was laid off his job of 22 yrs & we have been struggling. He is employed now, but funds are nonexistent. Flynn's health is our priority. Flynn took care of us & we want to see her healthy & happy again.

We rescued Lila from the local humane society a few months ago. She is 1 year old Pitt mix. We do have a 7 year old cat which they get along great. We kept her name the same we didn’t want to change it. After bringing my girl to the vet. X-rays showed her tibia and fibia is broken due to her being hit by a car a few days ago. She needs plates and pins and I cannot afford it. And I absolutely cannot even think about euthanizing her for an option. All her exam, meds and X-rays I pad today. But going forward I’m in need of financial help. Lila is the most playful puppy! If she could she would run and play and chew all day long. She loves her toys but destroys them all:). Her favorite words are “ outside and treat”. She’s so playful and loved and licks anyone who comes near her. She is literally the sweetest and I couldn’t imagine her without us. I’m in financial bind coming up with money to cover the rest of her vet bills. I was out of work myself for surgery for about 3 months so I lived off my savings. So here I am struggling to find help to save my puppy.

Ice was a Birthday Gift from my wife and he has became a big emotional support dog to our family. He is full of joy and very energetic and loving. Ice has been pretty healthy up until this point and now he is experiencing a problem with his teeth and they said that he has a infection because of his teeth and now he is disoriented and vomiting which is worrying our family because we love ice so much and just want him to be back to his normal self. We don’t want him to pass away because he is a big part of our family. Our boy Ice is our family’s emotional support dog and he really helps with my mental health issues. His plays a big role in our family because he is our son we love him so much. We would be lost without him in our lives. We just currently moved to a new home and with me on disability a fixed income and the economy the way it is today times are hard. So with ice unexpectedly medical conditions are not in our family’s budget. We are just barely making it as it is at this moment. We love ice.

Ares is a 7-year-old terrier mix. We say we rescued him, but really he rescued our family. He lives with his dad, grandmother, aunt, and 3 other dogs. In just weeks, Ares went from playful to critically ill—drinking nonstop, losing weight, then suddenly refusing food, water, and even going outside. He was rushed to the ER in critical condition. Though now stable, vets believe he may have Cushing’s disease and will need lifelong care. He has the sweetest soul. He’s playful, loving, and just a little mischievous—especially when it comes to sneaking off with the other dogs’ favorite “babies” (toys). What really shows who Ares is at heart is this: when one of his dog siblings was sick, Ares gently brought her toy back to her, as if he knew she needed comfort. That’s the kind of love he gives daily. We are on a fixed income. His bill is already over $1800. We have applied for financial aid and credit but haven't had any luck yet. We are doing the research and trying to find a way to save him.

Rocket came into my life just under a year old after a difficult start involving abuse and inbreeding. He’s now 11, a little old man. Despite chronic health issues, he’s remained resilient, forming a strong bond with me and learning to trust again, especially finding comfort and safety after a rough beginning. We share an unbelievable bond and also the same birthday! Rocket was diagnosed in 2022 with a blocked salivary gland. It once needed occasional draining, but now refills within a day and has grown much larger. It’s affecting his breathing and eating, with occasional bleeding. Surgery is now necessary to relieve the blockage and improve his quality of life. Rocket is sensitive, goofy, and a lover boy. Despite being a cripple due to arthritis, he somehow is the alpha amongst my three other pets! He’s fearful of men due to past abuse but warms deeply to those he trusts. Even with arthritis and age, he still shows bursts of joy. He is my shadow and is a fighter, despite his health and past. He enjoys snuggles and snacks!! The surgery costs $3,800 minimum and up to $5,600 with diagnostics due to his age. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t cover this alone. This support would give Rocket relief from pain and help him live the rest of his life comfortably.
