Oscar Blue

Oscar Blue is a 3-year-old Mix in Pinellas Park, FL, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.

Pinellas Park, FL

This precious pup came into my life when he was 6 weeks old. He has been such a joy. He is now 100.9 lbs. Blue loves his fenced in yard where he tries to catch squirrels and lizards. Mostly now he just watches them knowing he can't catch them. He gets excited when the fireworks start. Blue just watches the bright lights & loves to bark at them. He makes me laugh just watching him have fun. Ever since he was a pup, he's slept under my bed. I had to get bed risers so he could fit. He lets me know when it's time to eat by pawing my lap & when it's time to go out, he gives me that look. Blue has doggy neighbors that he talks to through the fence. He gets along with everyone. On his nightly walks he loves to meet the neighbors. Even though he's a big boy, he thinks he's a lap dog. In the mornings we go to the garden where he hunts for lizards and waits for me to turn on the sprinkler. He loves to be sprayed. Blue loves to sunbathe & roll in the grass. When family comes to visit, he thinks they are there for him. When it's treat time, he sits up, gives a high 5 & lays down then takes it gently. Blue is my buddy. Blue had to have surgery on his right leg a couple of years ago. Now he needs surgery on his left leg. He's having trouble and limps all the time. It breaks my heart knowing how he wants to run & jump. I have to watch him to make sure he doesn't. We have a wonderful vet at Harborside Animal Hospital in Clearwater, FL.. We will use them this time too. They have a wonderful staff. A bit about me.. I'm 71 yrs. old & live on Social Security. Without your help it will be a very long time to try to save up for his operation. We don't have that kind of time. So, a big THANK YOU in advance for any help you can give. God bless you all.

Photo of Daisy Wall

Daisy Wall

Daisy Wall is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees Mix in Boulder, CO, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy.

Boulder, CO

We rescued Daisy in late March 2022. She was a stray from New Mexico and came to Colorado with her two brothers. Since rescuing her, she has been our protector. We live in the Boulder foothills and she ensures nothing enters our property without us knowing it! She has been a health, happy girl from the moment we brought her home, up until her recent cancer diagnosis. Daisy loves her family. She sleeps with her mom and dad every night and wakes her human sisters up every morning. She naps and plays all day long with her doggy sister, Mia, and walks the neighborhood loop everyday with us. She watches over our 1 acre property like a hawk. She LOVEs to eat any food she can find and LOVES frozen bone marrows. One of her favorite games is playfully chasing our cat. Daisy has a loud voice! She uses her voice to protect us every day, all day. She LOVES snuggling with her mom and dad. She loves her toy moose and alligator and lies on her back with them straight in the air for several minutes. If she gets the chance, she would run the whole neighborhood looking for deer and turkey. She is a true mountain dog! Daisy was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma on 9/27/23. She received all urgent and diagnostic care via CSU teaching hospital. We will be seeing Dr. Galloway with Colorado Animal Specialty and Emergency and plan to start chemotherapy week of 10/2/2023. Daisy will also be seeing Dr Questen with Aspen Park Vet Hospital in Conifer for holistic medicine. My husband lost his job a couple years ago and has started a new job that is 100% commission based so our income is limited. I am a stay at home mom and I work limited hours in health care. While Daisy may never be fully cured, we want to help her fight this the best we can.

Batman

Batman is a 2-year-old Domestic Medium Haired Cat in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for Urgent Trauma Care.

Seattle, WA

Are your pets able to make you laugh hysterically and also cry until you can't see your eyes are so blurred? That is what my boys do and right now I'm all tears! I met Batman in Renton when he was just barely old enough to leave his mom. We were stuck together like white on rice from the gate. And I brought him home and his sister was not too happy, yet Spartan was fascinated by the little guy. My boys are like two peas in a pod, a few years age difference makes no difference in the amount of energy the big boy will exert trying to keep up with him. Since day 1 Batman has looked up to Spartan always tagging along for the catventure of the day, and Spartan was just as eager to teach the young little guy everything he knows. They literally will lay in the same positions & cuddle for hours I chose to name this little guy Batman for his superhero like skills in the cat world and for his super empathetic personality I've witnessed him showing to my oldest kitty, Zoeygirl (the snapcase). Spartan has been the absolute best teacher of all things cat related, hunting, catching, chirping, loving, cuddling anso much more! I know Spartan is so depressed not having his sidekick by his side Currently iSpartan and I patiently(I am a wreck trying to keep composure for my boys though) are waiting at the veterinary specialty Center of Seattle(in Lynnwood) for an absolute miracle, blessing, hand up,...answered prayer! My boy is in critical condition but stable as the doctor has him on an oxygen machine pain and sedation meds with multiple injuries after being hit by a car and rushed herel This is my plea, I am begging you if you can find it in your heart to please help save my boy! These guys are my world and I would be absolutely devastated to have to say goodbye to my baby guy. I do not have children...my fur babies are my kids they are my everything!!

Photo of Lucas

Lucas

Lucas is a 12-year-old Chihuahua in Surprise , AZ, who needs $2,000 for Electrochemotherapy.

Surprise, AZ

I’ve had Lucas since he was 2 months old. Lucas became the son I could not have and the only one who has given me so much love for his entire life. I suffer from severe depression and from fibromyalgia which has made it impossible to sustain a job because I am constantly in pain. I can’t afford his chemotherapy treatment to get rid of the cancer. I am asking for help so I don’t lose him. Lucas is elderly and slow moving, but always wants to be included in walks and play. He loves snacks, but his favorite thing to do is cuddle. He’s a very affectionate dog and always knows when something is wrong and I need him the most. He loves laying out in the Sun, but complains about bath time. He’s a lovely grumpy chihuahua that expects the very best and promises to love you forever. Lucas will lick you for as long as you let him and don’t let him. He strategically sits on your foot or hand with his bum and has no awareness of personal space. When eating at the kitchen table he inserts himself in between your calves like a sandwich. He grumbles if you don’t immediately give him attention and he wins every staring contest without blinking. He had a lump appear on his hind leg beside his tail. It was removed when it was about golf ball size, grew back to the size of a softball, and was removed again in surgery. The recovery was very hard for him. The labs showed it was a cancerous tumor that is likely to grow back without chemo. I lost my husband recently and don’t have a job or health care to treat my auto immune disease. I am heartbroken that I don’t have the funds to save his life.

Photo of Duppy

Duppy

Duppy is a 8-year-old Australian Shepard Mix in Morgan Hill, CA, who needs $2,000 for Heart Worm Eradication.

Morgan Hill, CA

Duppy's previous owner surrendered Duppy due to her incarceration. He's been subjected to yelling for hours on end over the past year and food insecurity. Since coming to live with us last month he is so much less stressed and has become the most loving dog one could ask to have. He enjoys his kibble morning and evening and a warm comfy bed at night. During the day he enjoys bathing in the sun. Duppy has a zest for life that is contagious. Over the past month he's discovered he has a love of tennis balls and riding in the car. If he encounters an open car door hell jump in even if it isn't his car. He sleeps next to the bed and never jumps up unless given permission. He's super easy going and will willingly give you each of his paws to clip his nails without so much as uttering a word. The first thing you'll notice about Duppy is his striking ice blue eyes. He worms his way into the heart of everyone he meets. He is loving towards his feline friend Blaze and will lick him lovingly. In the short time we've had Duppy he's become extremely attached; crying if we're out of sight. He's loving, kind, gentle and very loyal! Duppy's past owner failed to provide him with basic medical or preventative care. Once we adopted him we took him to the vet for a thorough check-up and it was discovered that sadly he has heart worms. Our veterinarian believes he has a long and healthy life ahead of him if treated soon. We wish to see him happy and healthy, he is a faithful, kind and caring companion. Due to an impending divorce, the associated legal fees, and loss of income, treatment costs just aren't in the cards. We're fully committed to preventative care and providing him a comfortable life. The unexpected expense immediately just wasn't something we had anticipated.

Blue

Blue is a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever in Dry Ridge, KY, who needs $2,000 for TPLO (Cruciate Ligament Repair) Procedure.

Dry Ridge, KY

We purchased Blue from a breeder in Dry Ridge, Ky when he was 10 weeks old and our lives haven’t been the same since! He brightens the household with just a wag of his tail. When he first came home, we lived in a subdivision with a small yard but as he quickly grew we knew we needed a better home for him, so in November 2022 we purchased a home, where he has a huge yard to run and play in! Blue has two human sisters, one human brother, and one little doggie brother! He is so good around our children as well as our Australian Shepard puppy, “Rebel”. He loves playing tug-o-war with his dad and snuggling up with mom on the couch. Anytime the children are away he will go through each room searching for them, and loves when they play fetch with him. Even at his 110lbs, Blue thinks he is a lap dog, and wants to lay right on top of you. He is truly a gentle giant. When we brought our third and final baby home from the hospital he was careful not to step on her anytime she was playing in the floor. He loves giving you his paw for a handshake, as well as getting treats out of his Kong toys. Blue recently injured his back leg when he was running and playing around our yard and has tore his ACL. He does put some weight on it, but not fully so he is unable to get around like he used to. According to our veterinarian, he needs a TPLO (cruciate ligament repair) procedure. For our family, when it rains, it pours. After purchasing a house in Nov. 2022, I lost my job in Dec. 2022. With three children and living on one income we are truly struggling. Being able to pay for Blue’s surgery and have him back to his old self would mean the world to us

Aspen

Aspen is a 8-year-old Siberian Husky in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $1,250 for Tumor Removal.

Las Vegas, NV

Aspen found Koda and I at the dog park and 2 weeks later she was living with us. She is such a loyal girl, she follows me everywhere and waits at my feet. Aspen is a Mama’s Girl and so calm and sweet that whenever we fur friends sleepover many of them cuddle up to her. I’ve even seen her let other dogs lick her face and eyes to the point of them being visibly wet. Aspen has grown up with her sister koda and since Covid my Mom’s baby Chloe and know that my Dad is in failing health his dog Olivia has come to stay with us. Dinner time can get a bit chaotic. Even with all craziness of these two little additions Aspen still shows incredible patience and calm. 🐶🥰 Aspen being a Husky very rarely barks but when she needs something she will sit next to me and breathe heavily, if don’t notice her she will begin a faint cough which only gets louder until I notice her then she walks off while I follow her to what she wants. It usually water or to be let outside. 🐾💕 She always gets her yearly check up and keeps up to date on all of her vaccinations. She’s never had her teeth cleaned but she still great looking teeth due to her using her whitening mouthwash every day in her water. It breaks my heart to know that she has to have surgery to remove a growth the size of a bowling ball. I will be going to UCLA next week to hopefully be put on the transplant list. I would love to be to able to be the one to welcome her home and nurse her back to health.
