Petey came into our family’s life at about 8 weeks old. He is the happiest, friendliest and loving dog. He loves everyone he meets. He also loves other animals and is so sweet. He has been healthy all of his life. But recently he got a small bump on his stomach. It has grown to the size of a softball in the matter of weeks. He needs surgery as it may be cancer. Petey loves to cuddle up in bed under the covers with his humans. He loves to go to the dog park and long walks. He especially loves to swim. Also really good at frisbee. He’s also very protective of his family He is so gentle and loving to my elderly mother who is going blind. He walks so slow beside her. I think he’s protecting her Peteys favorite friends are Chapo the German Shepard. And Little baby kitty. His kitten sister He’s so funny when scary movies are on and will run Uber the covers. He loves to wear his sweat shirts and t shirts. He always knows when you’re down and will always do his best to cheer you up. He has been a great comfort to me as I have some mental health issues Peteys health has been good. Until recently. After see the lump and taking him to 3 other vets. We had to take him to a board certified surgeon at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital for a consult. They will have to do extensive surgery to remove it abs send it off for test as it’s probably cancer. The vet says if the lump is removed and treated he should have a good amount of years left to love us. We have been dealing with covid in our family and have missed work due to it. I’m also my elderly mothers care taker and have to be around a lot to take care of her. It would mean the world to me and save my heart from breaking to get Petey healthy again.

I rescued Oliver in May of 2020. A friend's daughter was moving and couldn't take Oliver with her. We fell in love with Oliver the minute we saw him. My Granddaughter always says she has a cat at Grammy's house. When I took him to the Vet for shots and a once over they told me about his dental condition. I just don't want him to be in any pain. Oliver meets me at the door every day when I arrive home from work. He sleeps by me every night, well unless my granddaughter is over and then he is always right by her. He loves his scratching pole that has three tiers and all of his toys. Especially the ones on a stick that you play with him. He expects any visitor to love on him immediately. He is the most loving cat I have ever seen. COVID has me financially strapped as I'm sure many others. I hate to ask for help but I just but I just don't know what else to do and just want him to be healthy and happy and not in any pain. Oliver has Dental Prophylaxis which requires a one time surgery. I don't believe he is in much immediate pain right now but believe that if it isn't treated with the surgery that he will be. He is being treated at Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort. This would be a one time surgery and would relive all pain he might be in. Oliver is just such a sweet loving cat. He loves to sunbathe in the window and get fresh air when we can open the windows. I just love the bond he and my Granddaughter have. It is really a special love. He is so funny and just lets her drag him around everywhere. I couldn't imagine our household without him now.

My dad saved Smokey from getting hit by a car on September 10, 2025. We suspect he wandered away from his mother and when we got him ge had a bit of an eye infection. He now lives with me and my family and three dogs and a few pups. Smokey was bitten and shaken by one of the dogs. After that he started having symptoms of a heart attack; rapid breathing, rapid heart rate, and loss of motor function. We then reached out to many online vets and got resources from one from chewy. She told us about an open vet near by and we called them and got reffered to other vets. The examination would cost on the low end 60 dollars. Smokey is so special to us because from the moment he was rescued he had so much personality. He was immediately playful. Even though when we first got him he had limited vision due to his eye infection he would still play around. It breaks our heart to see our baby not move around and play like you used to. We just want him to be back to his old self. We have always had finical problems. Growing up in a place shackled by poverty we have always had to try our best to save every penny we have. We have been homeless and just got a house and have been figting to stay stable. We need money for smokey but also for utilities.

Hazel, SPARC's sweet twelve-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd, was rushed to the emergency vet and has been diagnosed with Pneumonia. Hazel has been fighting hard. She has been receiving oxygen support, medications, and intensive treatment to stabilize her and save her life. She is one strong girl, but she is not out of the woods yet. So far, her emergency medical care has exceeded $3,000, and the costs continue to rise. SPARC urgently needs your help to cover her lifesaving treatment. They are now caring for her and helping her through this difficult time in their cozy office, where she’s surrounded by endless hugs and kisses and as many blankets as she could ever dream of. Kodi has been in my life since he was born. He was purchased from a friend of my mind who had bred his dog. Kodi and I live in an apartment as I am a gradauate student for a masters in clinical psychology. There were many puppies in his litter but he was the first one to run to me and stay with me. Kodi recently had x-rays which showed he has a dislocating kneecap in the right rear leg and damage to his left anterior ligament in the left knee. It also showed mild hip dysplasia in his left hip. Kodi is in need of a TPLO surgery. We are scheduled for a surgery this Friday, the 27th with Lorain Animal Clinic. I got Kodi to be my emotional support animal as I moved into my first apartment. Kodi loves to cuddle and is the friendliest dog I have ever seen or met. Kodi loves going on walks to meet and to be petted by anyone he sees. As tough as he looks, he is the biggest scaredy cat. Kodi loves receiving new toys and being wrapped in blankets. I am a 21-year-old grad student who's paying off a car, rent, and tuition. This was a very unexpected accident from Kodi, who was enjoying time playing in the snow, to now not even being able to have zoomies. It has been difficult to keep an energetic dog still and in bed.

My baby, Drogo was born on April 27th 2017. My daughter owned his mother and father, and they lived with me at the time. I was there the day he was born and he has been by my side for the past 8 years and 5 months. I have worked from home since he was born and so I have had the wonderful luxury of having him right beside me every single day. If I travel, I usually take him with me. In February of this year I noticed his right hind leg started to drag a little. My daughter is a Vet Tech so I asked her about it, she said to take him to the vet. I did, they did an ex-ray and did not see any hip displaysia or any kind of arthritis. I was told he would need an MRI to get a proper diagnosis which cost in the area of $2K. Something I cannot afford. Animal Med Ctr of New Braunfels Drogo is a very special dog. He loves children and people in general. He is the sweetest, kindest,loving animal that I have ever known. He loves to travel and meet people. He gets along with everybody. We have developed such a bond as he is with me every day, since I work from home. His favorite thing to do is play with his toys. He is so full of love and joy! He is very smart and very charming. When all this started I had just lost my job and was unable to find work for the last 6 months so I haven't been able to afford the MRI. The vet initially put him on a series of steroids which did absolutely nothing to help the situation. I am hoping and praying for help!

I resued him and his 3 siblings. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty. He always comes in at night. He has a favorite hosta he sleeps under during the day. He's always been healthy and is neutered. He's my cuddle kitty.. He's calm and loving. I live alone and am on disability. His estimated surgery cost is 1209.00. I don't qualify for Carecredit. I took him to the ER and my vet. I use Southern Crossing Animal hospital. He was not attacked. The vet thinks he bit something. There is no way to tell. He is on pain meds and antibiotics. He wants to eat, but can't. He has to have surgery immediately, but I can't afford it Niblet is my cuddle kitty. He always comes in when it gets dark. He purres like a motorboat. He's very calm and loving. He never leaves the yard. Xx I've been disabled for 3 years and money is tight.I don't qualify for Carecredit. A recent heart a/ack has left me stopped for cash. My pets are the only reason I stay alive. Niblet loves kisses on the top of his head.

When Dottie's owner wanted to euthanize her after declining treatment, A Pathway to Hope chose to help. A compassionate veterinary team contacted them about this 3-month-old kitten because they just could not euthanize her without first trying to save her. Dottie had a dangerous intestinal obstruction that required immediate surgery. Dottie had stopped eating and drinking and was suffering from vomiting and diarrhea. She was transferred to a specialty hospital, where an ultrasound confirmed a linear intestinal obstruction requiring emergency surgery. A Pathway to Hope is already overwhelmed by so many critical medical cases, but they could not let this tiny kitten die without a chance.
