Carson

Your Donation Can Restore Carson's Vision

Houston, TX • Joyrides Rescue

Carson’s story is one of resilience, hope, and a second chance. He was found alone on the streets outside Houston, Texas, in absolutely heartbreaking condition. Emaciated, neglected, and struggling to survive, Carson had clearly endured far more than any dog ever should. To make matters even more difficult, Carson is completely blind due to severe cataracts, forcing him to navigate the world in darkness. Despite everything he has been through, Carson remains one of the sweetest, happiest dogs imaginable. Named after Mr. Carson from \_Downton Abbey\_, he greets everyone he meets with kindness, trust, and affection. He is incredibly cuddly, gentle, and smart, with a spirit that has never been broken. Even without his sight, he carefully finds his way around, seeks out affection, and approaches each day with a wagging tail and an inspiring determination to enjoy life. Thankfully, Joyrides Rescue stepped in to save Carson’s life and provide him with the care he desperately needed. The good news is that Carson is an excellent candidate for cataract surgery, a procedure that could restore his vision and completely transform his quality of life. For the first time in years, he could see the faces of the people who have fought for him, explore the world with confidence, and experience the world that has been hidden from him for so long. Carson has already overcome so much, but he still needs help getting to the finish line. Donations will directly support his medical care and sight restoring surgery, giving this deserving dog the chance to see again and enjoy the bright future he deserves. Every contribution brings Carson one step closer to opening his eyes to a whole new world.

Louis little

Louis little is a 9-month-old Pit mix in Merry Hill, NC, who needs $1,950 for Surgery for Tarsal Joint on Hind Limb and Soft Tissue Structures.

Merry hill, NC

My name is Lewis Little, named after my big brother Stewart Little. I was brought into my current family by my hooman dad. He rescued me from a place that I was left outside all alone every day and night at only 5 weeks old. Only the little people would come to me but they would chase me with sticks and hit me with them. I hid under that house, but now I have the best hooman dad ever! He LOVES me! When my dad got me from that the not nice people, I was so sad and scared of everything. My dad brought me inside and I got to sleep on a real bed! It was the first night I had ever done that, and I get to sleep with my dad and big brother EVERY night. I do not hold grudges and am the sweetest boy. I love going bye bye, ball, my bed, brother, dad,& grandparents! I kiss everyone and love snuggling. Even though I am not scared of people anymore, I am so scared of the broom, mop, & vaccuum. I hide in closets or under furniture to keep it away from me. I am never mean because I know I am safe & nothing will hurt me. My dad makes sure I am fed, with a comfy bed and I live inside of the house where it is warm in the winter & it will be cool in the summer. My big brother is my favorite playmate! I jumped out of our car at a gas station in TN on our way home to NC. I darted to the road and a car hit me. It caused a compound fracture in my ankle. The vet said I have to have an expensive surgery to fix it or maybe lose my leg. I am fighting to be here for him like he fought for me. I am Pitt mix, so a lot of people wouldn't have helped bring me inside to start with. He did. He is my hero. My dad changed jobs and he has less income now. He is trying everything and has applied for assistance for my vet needs too. My family tries too. My surgery or amputation is going to cost my dad a lot of money but he won't give up on me. Can you help or share my story?

Willie Lucinda Bell Frias

Willie Lucinda Bell Frias is a 6 month old Australian Cattle Dog in Bakersfield, CA, who needs $9,133 for Tibial Crest Fracture Repair and Pin Removal.

Bakersfield, CA

Willie Lucinda Bell Frias joined our family the Wednesday before Thanksgiving after we found her at our local shelter, shyly hiding behind her brothers. She lives indoors in our loving home and is a little sister to her big brother. Willie loves to run, play tag, dance with her dad, and cuddle with her mom. She is deeply loved and truly part of our family. 💛 Willie’s injury happened suddenly and unexpectedly. In a split second, she jumped out of a car window before we could react. We immediately rushed her to the veterinarian, where X-rays showed a serious injury to her leg requiring surgery. This was an accident, and we are doing everything we can to ensure she receives the care she needs to heal properly and return to being an active, happy puppy. Willie is the heart of our home. She greets us with full-body wiggles and follows us from room to room just to be near us. She plays tag with her big brother, dances excitedly with her dad, and melts into cuddles with her mom at night. Willie is gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to our family. Her love is constant, joyful, and unconditional, and she truly completes our home. We are a one-income household caring for other family needs, and this unexpected expense is overwhelming. Willie’s surgery is estimated at $5,055–$5,883, with a follow-up of $2,408–$3,250. These costs are beyond what we can manage alone. Having her healthy again would mean e

Jubilee

Jubilee- spent 45 days dumped in the woods surviving, is now fighting for her life

Deltona, FL • Purrfectly Wonky Animal Rescue

💔 After 45 Days of Surviving Alone… Jubilee Is Fighting for Her Life. 💔 Jubilee. Named after the church where her family abandoned her instead of doing the right thing and finding her a loving home or rescue. They gave her no chance. For a month and a half, Jubilee survived alone in the woods beside that church, just feet from a busy road. Every night she curled up alone in the woods, scared, and forgotten. For weeks, we showed up every single day. We fed her on a schedule, let her get used to our scent, built a custom trap, monitored trail cameras, and prayed she would trust us enough to walk into that kennel. She was so broken. You’d only catch glimpses of her peeking through the trees or walking down the side of the road with her head hanging low. Then one day… she chose to trust us. She walked into the kennel. We cried tears of relief because we truly believed the hardest part of her story was finally over. Jubilee settled into her foster home and experienced things she’d likely never had before—a soft bed, toys, regular meals, and people who loved her. She finally got to stop surviving, stop living in fight or flight and simply be a dog. But that happiness lasted only a few days. Jubilee didn’t want to eat dinner Wednesday. Anyone who knows Jubilee knows that’s not normal. Her foster rushed her in for testing and unfortunately she tested positive for parvo. Now the little dog who survived abandonment, starvation, loneliness, and weeks alone in the woods is lying in an emergency hospital, fighting for her life. It’s impossible not to wonder… If someone had simply vaccinated her… If someone had simply asked a rescue for help… If someone had simply cared… Would she be fighting for her life today? We can’t change the choices that were made for Jubilee. We can only fight to make sure they aren’t the reason she loses her life. Our rescue is exhausted. Emergency after emergency has drained every dollar we have. Medical bills continue to pile up, but giving up on Jubilee has never been an option. Please, if you can, donate. If you can’t, please share her story. She waited 45 days for someone to save her. Please don’t let her run out of time now. ❤️ She deserves the chance to know that being rescued wasn’t the happiest part of her story… it was only the beginning.

MeeKai

MeeKai is a 9 month old Alaskan Klee Kai in Bal Harbour, FL, who needs $2,000 for Hybrid Balloon Aortic Valvuloplasty (BAV).

Bal Harbour, FL

MeeKai was born in Colorado, I drove 4 hours to get her. Our bond was instant. Even a gf from Colorado, later the SAME day I got her, said to me: "We have 15 ppl in the house, & the min you speak, MeeKai recognizes you & goes crazy for you, She knows you are MOMMY" I flew to FL 2 days later, next day went to VET, & find out she was a born with DEFFECTIVE heart. Vet suggested to give back, but MeeKai is a 7-month Alaskan Klee Kai presenting multiple congenital cardiac defects. 2 echocardiogram in 3 months, reveal severe aortic stenosis, with a hypoplastic annulus. The aortic annular area is calculated to be 0.57 cm², resulting in an approximate 86% stenosis of the aortic outflow. The orifice is reduced to roughly 1/7th of its normal size. There is severe (3+) aortic insufficiency. MeeKai is very loving, she gives so many kisses to Mom & I every Morning and night. She guards us, she barks at strangers that she doesn't like. After having 2 other beLOVED doggies, She is special, MeeKai is alert and smart. She's a great companion and full of life, and wanting to play with other dogs, but we don't allow it due to her heart condition. The procedure carries a low procedural mortality rate & provides meaningful improvement & potential delay of disease progression. 𝗜𝗻 𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 $𝟭𝟮𝗸-$𝟭𝟱𝗸.
