Rosie

Rosie is a 6 year old Dachshund in Irvine, CA, who needs $5,000 for CT/MRI & Neuro Eval for Worsening IVDD Symptoms.

Irvine, CA

Rosie was a gift to me, from my husband, for my birthday. We originally went to the questionable breeders house -we were young and didn't know better- to look at the weenie dog puppies. When I saw Rosie, who was very much not a puppy, scared and hiding in the corner, I knew we had to bring her home. She warmed up to us almost immediately and has been our little cuddle bug since. We suspect that Rosie has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) which is unfortunately common in dachshunds. She woke up yelping in pain, shaking, and basically immobile yesterday. We took her to our vet and they ran $700 worth of tests and claimed it was only a gut issue despite my protest about a possible spine issue. Today her condition, pain, and immobility has worsened. Dachshunds are known to imprint on one family member stronger than other breeds. For Rosie, I am that person. She's my emotional support animal, but I often joke that I am her emotional support human. Where I go she goes. If I'm not available for cuddles she goes right to my son. She enjoys playing with our cats, is highly motivated by pets, and misses her cuddle buddy Annie, who just passed. We just lost our cat, Annie (black cat in picture), a couple weeks ago super unexpectedly in a traumatic way. This left us with a $1500 care credit bill. Rosie's tests yesterday cost $700. We now owe $2500 in vet fees and are drained financially. We dont know what else to do

Valentino

Valentino is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Daytona Beach, FL, who needs $937 for Emergency Foreign Body Treatment.

Daytona Beach, FL

Valentino “Tino” is my 5-month-old Goldendoodle puppy and truly my baby. He lives with me full-time and is constantly by my side—whether we’re going on walks, visiting the dog park, training, or simply cuddling at home. He is deeply loved, spoiled with care and attention, and has brought so much comfort, joy, and companionship into my life. Tino is currently being treated for a possible foreign body obstruction after ingesting pieces of feminine hygiene products. He has undergone multiple X-rays, examinations, and monitoring due to ongoing gastrointestinal concerns. He’s being treated through our veterinary hospital, where the attending veterinarian recommended close monitoring and possible surgical intervention. Tino has the sweetest, funniest personality and makes everyone around him smile. He loves every person and dog he meets, follows me everywhere, and always knows when I need comfort. Even when he’s scared or not feeling well, he still tries to wag his tail and cuddle close. He is more than a pet—he is family, my emotional support, and my best friend. After my time in the Army, I’m facing a difficult life transition, and Tino’s emergency vet bills became overwhelming. He is my beloved puppy and in-training service dog who gives me emotional support daily. Helping him recover means keeping my best friend healthy.
