Banta was Found Wandering the Streets Alone, Weighed Down with a Giant Tumour

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

Meet Banta, behind his gentle eyes is a level of pain no dog should have to survive. He was found walking alone with a large tumour on his genital area - exposed, painful, and heavy. Every step must have been uncomfortable, and yet he had no way to ask for help. When someone reported him to us, we knew he needed urgent medical care before the tumour worsened or caused even more suffering. A tumour in such a sensitive area can be extremely painful and dangerous, making it difficult for a dog to walk, urinate, or move normally. Banta is now at our shelter, and he urgently needs surgery to remove the tumour, along with anesthesia, medication, wound care, and careful post-op monitoring while he recovers. We need to raise $400 to cover Banta’s surgery and recovery care. _E__very day, new cases like Banta arrive at our shelter._ Dogs with tumours, infections, fractures, and emergencies that cannot wait. Our team is doing everything we can, but we are stretched thin, and we need your help to keep saying yes when a dog is in danger. Please donate today to help Banta heal and bring him back to safety. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. With hope, Team Pawsitive Sanctuary 🐾

Phool

A kind stranger found Phool collapsed on the roadside.

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

After being struck by a vehicle and left behind on a busy highway, Phool now needs an emergency amputation to save her life. Pawsitive Sanctuary refused to let her suffer any longer—but they can't do it without your help. A compassionate passerby discovered Phool lying on the side of the road, barely conscious after a driver hit her and fled the scene. She was alone, bleeding, and fighting to stay alive. Thankfully, she was rushed to Pawsitive Sanctuary, where their team immediately began assessing her condition. Along with her devastating injuries, they found she was severely underweight, dehydrated, and battling a heavy parasite burden after spending months trying to survive on the streets. X-rays confirmed that Phool's leg has been crushed beyond repair. The bones were shattered, the surrounding tissue had suffered extensive damage, and there was no possibility of saving the limb. Without emergency surgery, infection could spread throughout her body, causing unbearable pain and putting her life at even greater risk. Significant blood loss has also left her dangerously anemic, making every hour critical. Their veterinary team immediately started IV fluids, powerful pain relief, antibiotics, and supportive care to stabilize her while preparing for surgery. Her amputation is scheduled for this week, after which she'll begin a long road of rehabilitation, nutritional support, and parasite treatment to help her regain her strength and learn to thrive on three legs. The cost of Phool's surgery, hospitalization, medications, and follow-up care is expected to exceed $2,000. After caring for so many emergency rescues, their resources are running dangerously low—but turning their backs on Phool is simply not an option. She has already survived the unimaginable. Now she deserves the opportunity to heal and experience the love and safety she's never known. Please consider making a donation today to help cover Phool's lifesaving care. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps provide surgery, medications, and the ongoing treatment she urgently needs. Together, we can give Phool the second chance she's been waiting for, and we'll be with her every step of the way.

Saba

Please help Saba overcome extreme starvation.

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

Saba was little more than skin and bones when we found her. Every rib, every hip bone, every vertebra was visible beneath her battered body. Open wounds covered her skin, and she was so weak that simply standing took everything she had left. She had been surviving for far too long with almost nothing, and without immediate intervention, she likely wouldn't have survived much longer. She was discovered in the middle of the day, lying in plain sight as countless people walked past without stopping. Somehow, despite the pain and exhaustion, she was still trying to hold herself up. When we approached, she didn't run or resist. She quietly accepted our help, too exhausted to do anything else. Lifting her into our arms was heartbreaking—she weighed almost nothing. Saba's body condition score is just 1 out of 9, indicating extreme starvation. Her body has been forced to consume its own muscle and fat stores simply to stay alive. She also has multiple open wounds that have already attracted insects, a devastating reminder of how vulnerable she had become after being left to suffer alone. As soon as Saba arrived at the sanctuary, our team began emergency treatment. She's receiving IV fluids, careful nutritional support, pain management, and treatment for her wounds. Because she's so severely malnourished, every meal has to be introduced slowly and monitored closely to avoid complications. The next several days will be critical as we watch for signs that her body is beginning to recover. Saba's fight isn't over, and she can't do this without help. Your donation will provide the lifesaving care she urgently needs, including hospitalization, medications, wound care, specialized nutrition, and around-the-clock monitoring. Saba spent far too long being overlooked. Today, you have the opportunity to show her that her life matters. Thank you for helping us give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves.

Three-month-old puppy needs your help after suffering devastating head injuries.

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

\*Trigger warning\* She has only been in this world for three months, yet she's already endured unimaginable cruelty. Someone repeatedly struck this tiny puppy in the head with what veterinarians believe was a heavy metal object, causing catastrophic trauma. The force of the blows were so severe that her eyes were displaced from their sockets. A compassionate local found her and contacted Pawsitive Sanctuary immediately, and they rushed to get her the emergency care she desperately needed. When their rescue team arrived, they weren't sure she would make it. She cried constantly, shook her head in confusion, and struggled to walk, unable to understand the pain she had been forced to endure. Watching such a young puppy fight through that kind of suffering was heartbreaking. Leaving her behind was never an option. Veterinarians believe her injuries are consistent with repeated blows from an object such as a metal pipe. The trauma to her skull is extensive, and she now faces a long, difficult road to recovery. Despite everything she's been through, she's still fighting, and so are her caretakers. As they searched for more information about what happened, they learned that approximately three months ago, another puppy believed to be from the same litter or family died after sustaining nearly identical injuries in the same area. They cannot confirm the cases are connected, but the possibility is frightening. Their team is working closely with local residents to gather information while doing everything possible to save this little girl's life. She has been stabilized, but her journey is only beginning. She will require multiple surgeries to repair the devastating injuries to her head and eyes, followed by extensive medical care and rehabilitation. The cost of treatment will be overwhelming, but they're committed to giving her every chance at the future she deserves. We're asking for your help today. Every dollar, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to funding the surgeries and specialized care she needs to survive and heal. Thank you for standing beside this brave little puppy when she needs compassionate people the most.

Somu urgently needs amputation surgery.

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

We want to introduce you to Somu. \\\_Before Somu was found, he was heard.\\\_ Locals nearby reported hearing deafening cries coming from underneath a parked car. The kind of cries that make your heart stop, filled with terror and pain. Curled beneath the car, shaking and screamin g, was Somu, trying to find some relief after a speeding motorcycle ran over him while he searched the streets for food. The impact crushed his tiny paw, leaving him alone in agony. When we got the call, we rushed to find him. He was terrified, crying so hard his whole body trembled. But despite everything he had suffered, Somu still let us come close enough to help. We immediately gave him pain medication, but the damage to his paw is devastating and cannot be saved. Somu now urgently needs amputation surgery to survive and be free from this unbearable suffering. We need to raise $450 for Somu’s amputation surgery and medical care. Right now, our rescue is \\\_overwhelmed\\\_ with emergency cases arriving almost daily. Injured, abandoned and broken animals who have nowhere else to go. We never want to turn away a life in need, but our resources are stretched painfully thin. Still, we couldn’t walk away from Somu. And today, we’re asking you not to walk away either. Please help us give Somu a second chance. A life where he \\\_never has to cry for help under a car again.\\\_ 6/17/26 Update: Somu's Surgery! You might remember Somu, we found him curled beneath a car, shaking and screaming, trying to find some relief after a speeding motorcycle ran over him while he searched the streets for food. The impact crushed his tiny paw. He urgently needed amputation surgery, and thanks to your support, it was possible. We brought him back to the shelter and he was relieved with pain medication. Our fantastic vet team performed amputation surgery for his paw, which was a success. The funds also helped with post operative care and medication. Somu is finally out of pain, and we could not have done it without your support. Thank you, truly. With gratitude, Pawsitive Sanctuary Team

Diya was brutally beaten and needs your help.

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

Meet Diya, \_her story is one we wish we never had to tell.\_ She was brutally beaten by a drunk man with a stick - an act of violence witnessed by locals who were left in shock. The attack was so severe that her eye was violently forced completely out of its socket. A kind citizen refused to look away and contacted us immediately. We rushed to bring Diya into our care but the trauma she has endured is devastating. She was lying there, trembling, in unbearable pain. One look at her face told us how severe the attack had been. \_It’s something no living being should ever have to endure.\_ Diya is now under our care, receiving pain relief and close monitoring. But this is only the beginning of what she needs. Diya urgently requires surgery to close her eye socket. Without it, she is at high risk of infection, prolonged suffering, and further complications. This procedure \_is not optional, it is necessary\_ to give her even a chance at recovery. We need to raise $1000 to cover the cost of her urgent surgery and medical care. For Diya, this is the difference between ongoing pain and the first real step toward healing. If donating isn’t possible right now, you can still make a difference by sharing Diya’s story. The more people who see her, the better her chances of getting the help she so desperately needs. Diya has already endured the worst of humanity. Let’s show her the best of it. EMERGENCY: She Was Losing Consciousness From Blood Loss After Her Leg Was Severed

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

When the call came in about a dog lying on the local train tracks, bleeding heavily, her leg torn completely away… our hearts dropped. It’s not something we encounter often. But we have seen it before. And the cases like this stay with you. They replay in your mind long after the emergency is over. Witnesses said the train struck her. There was blood everywhere. Kind strangers pulled her off the tracks while waiting for us, but even then it was clear—she was fading fast. The injury is devastating. Where her leg once was, there is now exposed muscle, shattered bone, and severe trauma. She’s severely underweight. Covered in parasites. And infection has already begun to set in. Her body was struggling long before this happened. Now it’s fighting on every front just to stay alive. There are so many unknowns. And no easy answers. Right now, she is at the sanctuary with our veterinary team, being stabilized. We are controlling the bleeding, cleaning and protecting the wound, and managing her pain aggressively—because no living being should endure suffering like this. We’re running diagnostics to check for internal injuries and organ damage that may not yet be visible. But here is the urgent truth: she needs emergency surgery. The remaining portion of her leg must be amputated to prevent the trauma from turning into a life-threatening systemic infection. It is her only real chance at survival. After surgery, she will face a long road—continued medical care, follow-ups, and rehabilitation to help her adjust to life as a tripod. She deserves that chance. Please keep her in your thoughts. And if you are able, please consider donating right now. Your support will help cover her emergency surgery and give her the opportunity to heal, to recover, and to finally know safety instead of suffering. You're on the free p

URGENT: Desperate Pup Hauls Himself Across the Ground

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

We truly don’t have the words for how devastating Snow’s condition is. His tiny front legs are shattered—so badly damaged that he’s been forced to drag himself across hard concrete just to move. They bend at unnatural angles, and there’s no telling how long he’s been pulling his broken body forward on unforgiving ground. Instead of being protected and cared for, he was abandoned on the streets by the very people who were meant to love him. But Snow’s story didn’t end there. When he came into our care, he couldn’t stand. He couldn’t walk. He could only push himself forward using his back legs, inch by painful inch. Seeing him try is something we will never forget. We don’t know when his injuries happened. Were his legs broken after he was dumped? Or was he left behind because his family didn’t want to face the cost of his care? The uncertainty is heartbreaking. A compassionate Good Samaritan refused to look away from his suffering. They made the call that saved his life and helped arrange his urgent transfer to us. Once Snow arrived, we made him as comfortable as possible and rushed him for X-rays first thing the next morning. The results were devastating. The damage to his legs is severe, and the path forward will not be easy. Snow now urgently needs specialized orthopedic care, likely surgery, and extensive rehabilitation if he is ever going to walk again. His medical bills are already mounting—and this is only the beginning of what he will need. If you’ve ever thought about donating, please consider doing it today. Your gift could help cover his surgeries, treatment, and therapy. If you can’t donate, sharing his story means the world. Be part of Snow’s second chance. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with him.

Warrior

CRITICAL: Pup’s face consumed by horrific eroding tumors

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

When we first laid eyes on Warrior, we honestly thought he had survived some kind of explosion. His face was grotesquely swollen and torn, with deep, hollowed craters carved across his muzzle. It was shocking. Graphic. Almost impossible to process. We prepared ourselves for a single catastrophic injury. But the reality was even more heartbreaking. Warrior’s wounds weren’t caused by one tragic event. His face is covered in multiple tumors—masses that have grown unchecked for far too long. Several have ruptured, leaving raw, open cavities where healthy skin should be. This didn’t happen overnight. This is the result of prolonged, untreated suffering. Tumor after tumor growing, stretching, breaking down—while he somehow continued trying to eat, move, and survive on his own. And no one stepped in. When our team brought Warrior to safety, our veterinary staff immediately began stabilizing him. His open wounds are being gently cleaned and flushed, though every touch causes pain. The ruptured areas are highly vulnerable to infection. We’ve taken samples of the masses and sent them off for testing to determine exactly what we’re facing—and whether these tumors are cancerous. Right now, we don’t have all the answers. But we do know this: Warrior is in pain, and he needs urgent care. In these critical days, he requires intensive wound management, strong pain control, antibiotics if infection sets in, diagnostic testing, and constant monitoring as we wait for results and map out the next steps. He is finally safe—but safety alone won’t heal him. Cases like Warrior’s are overwhelming in every way—emotionally, medically, and financially. The level of treatment he needs is extensive and ongoing, and we simply cannot shoulder it alone. Please, if you are able, consider donating toward Warrior’s emergency care. Every single dollar helps us continue his treatment and gives him a real chance at relief and recovery. If donating isn’t possible, sharing his story could connect him to someone who can help. Warrior has endured enough alone. Please help us fight for him.

Blind Sweetheart With TWO Eyeball Tumors Dumped On The Streets When His Medical Needs Became “Inconvenient”

Kewaskum, WI • Pawsitive Sanctuary Inc

Angrej is suffering every second. This sweet boy, once someone’s pet, is now blind, in agony, and fighting to survive after being discarded when he needed help the most. With tumors in both eyes and pain so severe he trembles and pants, Angrej cannot see the world around him. We are racing to save him, but his medical needs are urgent, extensive, and overwhelming. He needs help now. He didn’t start like this. Angrej belonged to someone. He trusted someone. But the moment he got sick, when his care became inconvenient, he was thrown away and left to fend for himself on the streets. By the time he was found, his condition was almost too much to bear. Tumors had overtaken both of his eyes, leaving him completely blind. Not just blind, but in excruciating, relentless pain. This didn’t happen overnight. This kind of suffering takes time. Which means people saw him. People watched as his eyes worsened, as his body declined, as he struggled to navigate a world he could no longer see. And still, no one stepped in. When our team found Angrej on the street, we didn’t hesitate to pull him to safety. We rushed him back to the sanctuary and began stabilizing him immediately. But the damage is severe. Our veterinary team is now assessing his condition, and the heartbreaking reality is that he will likely need surgery to remove both eyes. We are still holding onto hope that there may be another option, but we have to be honest: we may already be too late to save them. What we can do is end his pain. And his suffering doesn’t stop there. Angrej is malnourished, his body weakened from neglect. He is riddled with parasites and covered in wounds from surviving on the streets in this condition. He needs comprehensive care—diagnostics, medications, parasite treatment, proper nutrition, and constant support as his body begins to heal from everything he’s endured. We can choose to fight for him now. Please consider donating toward Angrej’s medical care. And if you’re unable to give, sharing his story could be the reason someone else steps in to help save his life. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support. With love, Pawsitive Sanctuary \_Since Angrej’s abuser is unknown, and there are no viable leads, an investigation cannot be opened. Right now, the best thing we can do for Angrej is help him heal. Thank you for your understanding.\_
