The first time we saw Jill, it killed us inside. She was trembling, starving, and in agony as her weak body sank into the dirt. Through her whimpers, she was begging for help. Raani had been trying to get by on whatever she could find at this railway maintenance yard. That desperate search led her too close to the tracks, causing her to become the victim of a devastating train accident. When our team finally found her, aching and bleeding out on cold concrete, we saw her paw had been completely destroyed. When we brought her in for further examination, a harsher truth became apparent. Her leg was completely broken, with her tissue and bone severely traumatized. How could the world be so cruel to this innocent little puppy? A good Samaritan found Jack, a young puppy who had clearly just experienced the worst the world could have dealt him. Flies swarmed around him as he lay on the ground, shaking, with blood dripping down his body from a severely injured eye. Seeing him in tremendous pain and fear, we knew we had to step in and give him the treatment he desperately needed. Jack needs emergency eye surgery now. When we arrived at the scene, after a good Samaritan informed us, the sight truly broke our hearts. Jack was crying and begging for help, with blood dripping down his body from his torturously painful eye injury, all while flies swarmed his body as if he was already dead. No one witnessed what happened; they simply found him like this. It makes our blood boil thinking about what horrors could've left this tiny pup in this condition. Regardless, we knew we had to step up and help him, so we quickly took him in. Sadly, one of the first discoveries we made was that Jack's eye could not be saved, and in order to help calm his pain, he would need it removed… Jack now needs immediate hospitalization and eye removal surgery to relieve his suffering and give him the chance to heal. We know this is going to take a massive amount of financial resources, which we do not have enough of on our own, but that is not going to stop us. Loyal Golden Retriever Covered In Tumors Is Left By Owners To Drown In A Pond, They Wanted Her Dead

Her head kept slipping under the water. River, a senior Golden with multiple tumors and partial blindness, was struggling to stay afloat in the middle of a pond when a stranger spotted her from the bank and went in after her. He carried her out on his back. She needs urgent medical care, and we need your help to cover it. A Good Samaritan reached out to us about a dog he had found in the water. He had seen her fighting to keep her head up, and he did not hesitate. He went in, got to her, lifted her onto his back, and carried her through the water to solid ground. There is no residential area anywhere near that pond. No homes, no yards, no reason for an elderly dog to be out there on her own. It leads us to believe she was brought there and left to die, and that she was never meant to make it out of that water. He kept her safe and warm for the night and brought her to the vet hospital the next morning. The exam confirmed what he had feared when he first got a good look at her: River has multiple tumors, and she is partially blind. She had been carrying all of this before she ever ended up in that pond. She is an older girl with a lot of miles behind her, and she is going to need a great deal of care and a great deal of love. She should be spending these years asleep in a warm bed with someone who adores her. Instead, someone decided she was disposable. Remy is our newest rescue, and the condition we found him in is almost impossible to put into words. After someone reported spotting him, our team rushed out to find him - and immediately knew there was no time to lose In the intense summer heat, even a small untreated wound can quickly become infected and infested. Flies lay their eggs inside the exposed tissue maggots can begin eating away at the wound. By the time we found him, nearly half of his face had rotted away. Maggots had eaten through the tissue surrounding his eye, severely deforming his face and destroying the eye completely. And somehow, through all of this, Remy had been surviving alone on the streets. We rushed Remy straight into emergency veterinary care. Our first priority is to stabilize him and control his pain, clean his wounds and try to remove the remaining infection. Remy is also severely underweight and malnourished. His body has been fighting infection while receiving nowhere near the nutrition it needs. Right now, we urgently need to raise funds to help cover Remy's daily medications, wound dressings, continued treatment, and his eventual surgery. For far too long, he had no one looking out for him. They left him there with his eyes severely injured and bulging from the trauma, a deep laceration across his neck, and blood coming from a body that had already been through more than any dog should survive. They did not stop. They did not get him help. They left him to die and bleed out like his life meant nothing. Thankfully, some locals saw him and did what the person who hit him should have done. They stepped in. They got Liam off the street. They brought him to us so he could finally receive the emergency care he desperately needed. And now we are fighting for him. Right now, Liam is weak and in terrible pain. His eye injuries are severe, and his neck wound is deep. We do not know yet exactly what his full recovery will look like, but the doctors believe he has a chance, and that is all we needed to hear. If Liam has a chance, we are going to take it. Hachi was found lying outside Marriott Hotel, bleeding helplessly on the road after a brutal road accident. He could not understand what had happened to him. On Friday, our helpline received the call about Hachi, but before we could even reach him, a kind soul had already stepped in. They did not look away. They did not leave him there to bleed. They took him to a nearby vet for basic treatment while waiting for us to arrive, and that small act of kindness may be the reason Hachi is still here today. When we reached him, our hearts broke. Hachi was badly injured and bleeding from his forehead, ears, and arm. The amount of blood he had lost was frightening. He was weak, scared, and in pain, and without timely help, we could have lost this innocent boy right there on the streets. That is how close it was. Now Hachi is safe, but he is not okay yet. His body is hurting, and his mind is still carrying the trauma of what happened. Asher came to us from Phagwara, over two hours away, after a woman learned that the local animal organization was unwilling to keep him because of the severity of his condition. Asher had been brutally beaten by human hands. His injuries were left untreated, and maggots began consuming the wounded tissue around his face. As Asher wandered the streets in this condition, people didn't want him near them. His face was rotting. His eye was destroyed. He was weak, sick, and walking around in a body that was begging for help. The local woman started asking nearby shopkeepers if anyone knew anything about him. Their response? “We don’t want that dog, he’s disgusting.” That is what they saw when they looked at Asher. Not a suffering dog. Not a life in pain. Not someone who needed help. They saw a sick, injured animal and decided he was dirty, unwanted, and not worth kindness. And then she found out one of them had thrown hot water on him to keep him away. That part makes us sick. Asher was not disgusting. He was not dirty in the way they wanted to believe. He was sick. He was injured. He was being eaten alive by infection and maggots, and instead of helping him, people judged him, chased him away, and hurt him more. Can you imagine being in that much pain and still being treated like you are the problem? His eye is gone now, from what we can tell. Disease, rotting skin, and maggots have destroyed it. It is hard to look at, but it must have been even harder to live with. Every hour he spent like this mattered. Weak, exhausted, and still hanging on, even after everything his body had endured. He is now hospitalized and receiving immediate supportive care while we try to stabilize him and begin treating the damage. This is urgent. Thankfully, she was rushed to Pawsitive Sanctuary, where their team immediately began assessing her condition. Along with her devastating injuries, they found she was severely underweight, dehydrated, and battling a heavy parasite burden after spending months trying to survive on the streets. X-rays confirmed that Phool's leg has been crushed beyond repair. The bones were shattered, the surrounding tissue had suffered extensive damage, and there was no possibility of saving the limb. Without emergency surgery, infection could spread throughout her body, causing unbearable pain and putting her life at even greater risk. Significant blood loss has also left her dangerously anemic, making every hour critical. Their veterinary team immediately started IV fluids, powerful pain relief, antibiotics, and supportive care to stabilize her while preparing for surgery. Her amputation is scheduled for this week, after which she'll begin a long road of rehabilitation, nutritional support, and parasite treatment to help her regain her strength and learn to thrive on three legs. Open wounds covered her skin, and she was so weak that simply standing took everything she had left. She had been surviving for far too long with almost nothing, and without immediate intervention, she likely wouldn't have survived much longer. She was discovered in the middle of the day, lying in plain sight as countless people walked past without stopping. Somehow, despite the pain and exhaustion, she was still trying to hold herself up. When we approached, she didn't run or resist. She quietly accepted our help, too exhausted to do anything else. Lifting her into our arms was heartbreaking—she weighed almost nothing. Saba's body condition score is just 1 out of 9, indicating extreme starvation. Her body has been forced to consume its own muscle and fat stores simply to stay alive. She also has multiple open wounds that have already attracted insects, a devastating reminder of how vulnerable she had become after being left to suffer alone. As soon as Saba arrived at the sanctuary, our team began emergency treatment. She's receiving IV fluids, careful nutritional support, pain management, and treatment for her wounds. Because she's so severely malnourished, every meal has to be introduced slowly and monitored closely to avoid complications. Someone repeatedly struck this tiny puppy in the head with what veterinarians believe was a heavy metal object, causing catastrophic trauma. The force of the blows were so severe that her eyes were displaced from their sockets. A compassionate local found her and contacted Pawsitive Sanctuary immediately, and they rushed to get her the emergency care she desperately needed. When their rescue team arrived, they weren't sure she would make it. She cried constantly, shook her head in confusion, and struggled to walk, unable to understand the pain she had been forced to endure. Watching such a young puppy fight through that kind of suffering was heartbreaking. Leaving her behind was never an option. Veterinarians believe her injuries are consistent with repeated blows from an object such as a metal pipe. The trauma to her skull is extensive, and she now faces a long, difficult road to recovery. Despite everything she's been through, she's still fighting, and so are her caretakers. As they searched for more information about what happened, they learned that approximately three months ago, another puppy believed to be from the same litter or family died after sustaining nearly identical injuries in the same area. They cannot confirm the cases are connected, but the possibility is frightening. Their team is working closely with local residents to gather information while doing everything possible to save this little girl's life. She has been stabilized, but her journey is only beginning. She will require multiple surgeries to repair the devastating injuries to her head and eyes, followed by extensive medical care and rehabilitation. The kind of cries that make your heart stop, filled with terror and pain. Curled beneath the car, shaking and screamin g, was Somu, trying to find some relief after a speeding motorcycle ran over him while he searched the streets for food. The impact crushed his tiny paw, leaving him alone in agony. When we got the call, we rushed to find him. He was terrified, crying so hard his whole body trembled. But despite everything he had suffered, Somu still let us come close enough to help. We immediately gave him pain medication, but the damage to his paw is devastating and cannot be saved. Somu now urgently needs amputation surgery to survive and be free from this unbearable suffering. We need to raise $450 for Somu’s amputation surgery and medical care. Meet Diya, \_her story is one we wish we never had to tell.\_ She was brutally beaten by a drunk man with a stick - an act of violence witnessed by locals who were left in shock. The attack was so severe that her eye was violently forced completely out of its socket. A kind citizen refused to look away and contacted us immediately. We rushed to bring Diya into our care but the trauma she has endured is devastating. She was lying there, trembling, in unbearable pain. One look at her face told us how severe the attack had been. \_It’s something no living being should ever have to endure.\_ Diya is now under our care, receiving pain relief and close monitoring. But this is only the beginning of what she needs. Diya urgently requires surgery to close her eye socket. Without it, she is at high risk of infection, prolonged suffering, and further complications. But we have seen it before. And the cases like this stay with you. They replay in your mind long after the emergency is over. Witnesses said the train struck her. There was blood everywhere. Kind strangers pulled her off the tracks while waiting for us, but even then it was clear—she was fading fast. The injury is devastating. Where her leg once was, there is now exposed muscle, shattered bone, and severe trauma. She’s severely underweight. Covered in parasites. And infection has already begun to set in. Her body was struggling long before this happened. Now it’s fighting on every front just to stay alive. There are so many unknowns. And no easy answers. When we first laid eyes on Warrior, we honestly thought he had survived some kind of explosion. His face was grotesquely swollen and torn, with deep, hollowed craters carved across his muzzle. It was shocking. Graphic. Almost impossible to process. We prepared ourselves for a single catastrophic injury. But the reality was even more heartbreaking. Warrior’s wounds weren’t caused by one tragic event. His face is covered in multiple tumors—masses that have grown unchecked for far too long. Several have ruptured, leaving raw, open cavities where healthy skin should be. This didn’t happen overnight. This is the result of prolonged, untreated suffering. Tumor after tumor growing, stretching, breaking down—while he somehow continued trying to eat, move, and survive on his own. And no one stepped in.
