Mini, my 8-year-old black cat, is sweet, loving, and gentle—never scratches or bites, just purrs when held, though shy with strangers. I’m facing homelessness in Mesa, AZ, relying on inconsistent parental support for rent. On food stamps and visiting food banks, Any money goes to Mini’s care, but I need help for her $100 vet visit to keep her healthy. Mini, my 8-year-old cat, started meowing loudly and acting skittish after I returned from a doctor’s visit. I found blood in her urine, which persisted for three days despite extra water and feedings. I suspect a urinary issue but can’t afford a vet visit. I plan to take her to Any local vet, for a $100 check-up to diagnose and treat her condition. Mini, my 8-year-old black cat, is special for her gentle, playful spirit. She never bites or scratches, purring instantly when I pick her up, though she’s shy with strangers. She brings joy to my tough days, curling up beside me for comfort. As my only family in Mesa, her loving presence keeps me going, making her health vital to our bond. I’m facing homelessness in AZ, relying on inconsistent parental support for rent. My son wanted a dog to join our family a few years ago. We have another rescue dog, but she is mostly bonded to me. So we found a humane society in Missouri that just got a litter of puppies from a large boxer mother who wandered under someone's porch and gave birth to 10 babies. We didn't specify which one we got, and when we met the van in White River Jct., Loofa was the last one in the van. Loofa loves to chew on anything and everything. He must have bit down on something that caused trauma to his mouth and tooth. The tooth in the bottom front is loose, bruised, and painful, according to the vet. The vet at Onion River Animal Hospital says it needs to be extracted. He is a good boy and we love him so much. We want to end his pain, and for him to enjoy eating and chewing once again. Loofa loves to cuddle with my son, and Loofa's 'sister', Sophie, and our cat, Atticus. He also loves sniffing all the spring smells outdoors. This time of year he is going nuts with delight over spring coming. He also loves bounding around in the snow and mud. He lies down under the kitchen table while I am cooking and doing dishes and keeps me company. The expense of his medical bill is outside of my budget at this time of year in Vermont, when I have extra oil, electricity, and plowing bills. We are already slightly behind with extra expenses, but I still want to take care of this wonderful dog.

Hi my name is Blue. A Siberian Husky with Blue eyes rescued from Houston, TX. I was roaming the streets with no collar or chip, not sure why I was abandoned. My new parents heard about me from their sister-in-law. They drove 24 hours during something call Hurricane Beryl. On the way to Wisconsin I met my new older sister they call her Lilly. WIsconsin is the best, nice and cool. My medical condition is a torn ACL that occurred at the end of February 2025, My pet parents were told that the surgery would be about $6000. The hospital is Pleasant Prairie Animal Hospital. Dr Terry Pettey said that a TPLO would be the best way to deal with this. If I do not have this surgery my other leg (right rear leg ) will have the same issue. I love to play with children. I talk a lot especially when I want my pet parents to get up and let me out in the mornings. I like to howl when the first responders go by. I like to shake my paw when asked and sit on command. I love to be rubbed on with affection. I love to be brushed and vacuumed. For ME the best thing is playing in the snow. Try to get me in when it is snowing or cold. with Blue having a torn ACL he is unable to walk very far or enjoy running in his backyard. He is not as active and has a hard time sitting. We can tell his in pain. The cost of the surgery is a lot for us to handle being on a fixed

Linus
Two Month Old Linus Needs Help Battling Broken Pelvis and Potential Neurological Issue

At just a few weeks old, Linus found himself being surrendered to the local shelter. He arrived with an extremely large fluid-filled area on his tiny tummy. Due to lack of resources at the shelter, they were unable to properly diagnose him and get him the care he desperately needed. The shelter quickly contacted US Dog Coalition and Rescue, who took him in. Initially, there were a few possibilities- a broken tail or inguinal hernia. They began Linus on antibiotics to address the fluid build up. Although, shortly after arriving to his foster home, his foster noticed that he was dragging his leg and appeared to be uncomfortable. Linus began to cry out in pain at times and was having difficulty using the bathroom. He was quickly taken back to the vet where they discovered Linus has a fractured pelvis, as well as a smaller pelvic canal than normal. The rescue quickly acted and has begun various testing to understand what all Linus is facing. He is being screened for various diseases, has a neurologist consultation pending, and, of course, is being closely monitored. Linus is just a few months old. What could have possible happened to warrant such heartbreaking condition? US Dog Coalition is determined to get Linus back on track to live a long healthy life like every puppy deserves. Please consider supporting his journey back to health. Update 02/12/25 Linus is such a fighter! He has been to multiple different vets to get opinions on his treatment plan and the resounding agreement is he is not beyond repair (like the very first group suggested and mentioned to "just euthanize him"). The poor puppy does have numerous breaks in his hip and pelvic bones on both side, likely from being hit by a car. The breaks are also the reasoning behind his narrow pelvic canal and incontinence. No neuro issues detected- yay! The rescue has continued to shower Linus with love and are dedicated to given him a pain free, healthy, happy growing up. Of course, none of this would be possible with out your support- thank you!

Our sweet girl came to us when she was 5wks old. Mom stopped producing milk for the litter so we took her early and she has been Our baby ever since. She came into my life when I was struggling during a difficult time. I don't know what I would do without her. She's the sweetest, sassiest, smartest, goofiest, and most loving dog ever. We named her Lucy after "I LOVE LUCY " because she's a Red Tri. About 7-8 months ago Lucy started having seizures and was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Since then, they have progressively gotten worse. Just recently she had 7 seizures within 12hrs. We had to take her to the emergency vet where they strongly recommended she sees a Neurologist at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center 2hrs away in Fishers Indiana. Lucy is such a special part of our family. I don't want her to have a shortened life span because we can't afford to take her to a Neurologist. She deserves to live a long and happy life. I want to be there for her like she has been for me. She's such a special and important part of ours lives, we love her so much. We're hoping to get her the medical care she needs. Lucy is already on two different seizure medications at strong doses. The medications are expensive because we don't have pet insurance and can't afford it unfortunately. We have one other Australian Shepherd that we rescued and 2 cats as well.
Goose

I've been a volunteer at South Bend Animal Resource Center for about three and a half years now. Goose was one of the first dogs I worked with. He was adopted by a family one Monday afternoon. They brought him back five days later. On the fifth day they had him, they went out to eat and left him at home by himself. Goose destroyed their living room. I was furious at their stupidity and adopted him At a routine check-up, we discovered Goose has a tumor on his gums. The tumor turned out to be cancerous. He's been back at he vet several times, running up quite a bill. Tomorrow, Goose will go to the Purdue University School of Veterinary Science for treatment The expected cost can easily run up to twenty-three hundred dollars. Goose lives with my and my other two dogs, Ruby and Buddy. Buddy and Goose play together. Goose also likes to go for walks around our neighborhood. Some of my neighbors love Goose almost as much as I do! I'm retired. I get Social Security and a small pension each month. The cost of all this care will cost more than a month's income. I can't afford that. Goose and the other dogs are often the only company I have for days. They are, in many ways, my best friends.

His condition is critical, and D&A rushed him to the vet to stabilize him. While he’s now safe, his journey to recovery is just beginning. Meet Milkshake: A Mother's Journey from Struggle to Safety

Milkshake’s story should have been one of love and comfort from the very start, especially during her pregnancy. Instead, a caring woman from Three Little Pitties Rescue came across this sweet, gentle dog while visiting a mud park with her family. Struggling to care for her newborn puppies, and in desperate need of safety, she brought her to the nursery near the rescue in Houston, TX. For the first time, Milkshake and her puppies were warm, cared for, and loved. But just as things started looking up, the worker noticed that Milkshake began bleeding from her rectum out of nowhere. Milkshake was rushed to the vet, where she was diagnosed with a prolapsed rectum—an excruciating condition that required immediate surgery. Her caretakers say that through all of her pain, she has never shown hesitation or grumpiness towards anyone, that she is beyond gentle and sweet, and she gives the softest kisses as if to thank her rescuers. Now, she’s in recovery, healing slowly, and awaiting X-rays to ensure she’s on the right path. Her puppies are healthy and in foster homes, currently waiting to be adopted—but Milkshake still needs your help.
