Loki is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Salem , NH, who needs $8,000 for MRI/Ophthalmologists.

Salem, NH

My dog loki has been our families work for over 7 years now, when we met it was like fate, like he was meant for us! The story was to long to share here but he became our worlds, he brings so much joy and happiness to our family and the love he gives is unimaginable. We always say he’s like a human because he is so smart and understands everything. He is the most spoiled and loved boy! We are still trying to figure out Loki medical situation as it seems to be complicated. He has an upcoming appointment with neurology at Angel Memorial hospital and we’re hoping to find out what’s wrong and if it’s something that can be treatable/curable, To do that they need to run lots of tests and MRI which is extremely costly as we’ve already spent thousands since this has happened this month Loki is so special, he is not just your average dog he understands everything, he is extremely gentle and kind. He loves his treats and loves his toys even more! He gets so excited when someone comes in he licks you, barks with excitement, does a dance. He jumps right in our bed and sleep in between me and my husband like a human, under the covers head on pillow. He loves his cat sisters and walks All these pet visits and the upcoming ones are really putting a strain on my family. Although we work daily we have already spent thousands on Loki to find out what’s wrong, the next step is the one we’re needing some help with as I know MRIs an Ophthalmologists are not chea

Cardi

Cardi is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Marlborough, MA, who needs $4,000 for Internal Medicine Consult, Abdominal Ultrasound and Further Diagnostics as she has Reduced Blood Flow to her Right Kidney.

Marlborough, MA

Cardi came into my life two years ago. I rescued her from an animal shelter but truth be told, she rescued me. My previous cat had been with me 18 years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I truly believe that he sent Cardi to me. She has been the sweetest cat and quickly adapted to my cat centric apartment. She takes full advantage of cat towers, beds, blankets and her window perch. Lately Cardi has been experiencing dehydration along with her chronic constipation. She has stopped drinking water and I have to add water to her wet food. It’s not enough. Her ears have become less pink as well as her gums. She is rapidly approaching crisis mode. She has an appointment for an abdominal ultrasound, an internal medicine consult and further diagnostics at Blue Pearl. Cardi is obsessed with me. She brings me her favorite catnip fish and leaves them on the bed while I’m asleep. She loves food and takes treats from my hand. She loves watching the birds through the window and on YouTube. She flops down and shows me belly constantly. She loves me as much as I love her. Cardi is my world and makes me smile every day. Cardi needs a lot of testing done at Blue Pearl. I’m on disability and can’t afford her life saving care. It kills me every day. I can’t lose my best friend over money.

My pet comes from a loving background and has been part of our family since November 2025, He originally adopted from local family from birth. This type of injury is typically caused by high-energy trauma, such as a car accident or significant fall, and resulted in a complex “T” or “Y” articular fracture of the humeral condyle. Due to the severity of the fracture, immediate veterinary attention was required. This injury required specialized surgical My pet is special because of the love and comfort he brings to our family every day. Cambridge, MA

Bafang is a young Labrador retriever who came into my life as a puppy and quickly became my constant companion. We live together in a small apartment, and he is my only pet. His name, “Bafang,” means “eight directions,” chosen to reflect my hope that he would grow up safe, curious, and full of possibility. From the beginning, he has been gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to me. Bafang recently suffered a serious leg injury that requires surgical treatment. We are currently working with VEG Cambridge, under the care of Dr. Perry. This is an acute injury rather than a chronic condition, and surgery is necessary to relieve his pain and restore his mobility so he can recover and live a normal, active life. Bafang is an incredibly loving and expressive dog. He follows me from room to room, greets everyone with enthusiasm, and finds joy in simple things like carrying his favorite toy or watching the world outside the window. He is playful but gentle, sensitive to my emotions, and brings comfort simply by staying close. His presence has been a steady source of warmth and companionship. The cost of Bafang’s surgery is a sudden and unexpected expense that exceeds what I can manage on my own right now. Support would help relieve an overwhelming financial burden and allow me to focus on his recovery, knowing he can receive the care he urgently needs to heal an

West Bridgewater, MA

I’ve had Roo since she was 7.5 weeks old, and now at 6 months, she’s living life with Pippin, my other lab, keeping her company. She has a cute birthmark over her right eye, loves cats, and adores her lamb chop toy and yellow duckie. You’ll find her lounging on the deck or rolling in the mud, always bringing smiles to everyone. I know there are so many sick dogs out there, and asking for help is incredibly hard for me — but here we go. My sweet Roo needs a colonoscopy procedure called ectopic ureter ablation to fix an ectopic ureter. I’ve been quoted between $5,900 and $7,500 for this surgery. This procedure will help finally resolve the chronic UTIs Roo has suffered from since I brought her home. Roo is special because she’s incredibly brave. Even though she’s in and out of the vet often, she never gets scared — she faces everything with so much courage and a gentle heart. On top of that, she has the cutest obsession with lamb chop toys and will proudly carry them around whenever she finds one. She also loves to swim in the ocean, where she’s truly in her element and so full of joy. Her st Since I brought Roo home we’ve had a number of large unexpected vet bills. She needed JPS at 15 weeks. She has also had numerous UTI’S and is in a lot of pain. She needs to have a Colonoscopy and procedure to fix her chronic UTI’S and it’s too expensive to cover on my own.

Quincy, MA

Nemo was born on June 27, 2025. She was one in a litter of four kittens birthed by our beloved cat, Tuesday. This was Tuesday’s second litter. Her first was born a last year with 5 healthy kittens who are now almost 11 months old. This litter was very different though. 3 out of the 4 kittens didn’t survive their first 48 hours. Nemo is the last one and our whole family is praying for a miracle! When Nemo and her siblings were born, Tuesday did not chew the umbilical cords off as a mother cat would normally do. Overnight, the 4 kittens had tangled themselves up in each others cords so tightly that poor Nemo’s foot had lost all blood circulation. After having to cut the cords away to free it, her foot was too damaged. It is now dead and ready to fall off. She needs an operation very soon. Of the 4 kittens in Tuesday’s litter, Nemo is the one that held on and has been fighting strong to live! My son named her “Nemo” when we realized that her damaged foot was going to be smaller than the others, just like Nemo’s little fin in the movie. We also thought Nemo was a boy until today when the doctor told us she’s a girl! We buried 3 kittens this week. We cannot bear to bury a 4th. 😓 We had to move a year earlier than planned. We paid over $11,000 for first, last, security, and broker’s fee. That was all of our savings. We can’t afford the $4500 it will take for surgery. Even with max financial aid, we’d still have to pay $3000 that we just don’t have.

Miles, along with his brothers and sisters, endured a difficult start to life, having been tragically discarded in Indiana. Thankfully, a compassionate organization, Save All Dogs Rescue, discovered them and brought them safely to Connecticut. It was there that I first met Miles, a sweet pup whom I immediately welcomed into my home. Miles's medical situation is severe: he was diagnosed with Aspiration Pneumonia shortly after coming home and required immediate hospitalization. He is currently being treated at Angell Animal Hospital in Jamaica Plain. His medical bills have already exceeded $5,000, with an additional $2,000 to $3,000 needed for his recovery. Miles is special and full of joy, bringing lots of laughs. He loves to snuggle and get pats from people. He likes chewing his toys (even phone chargers!). His fun ways and wagging tail make him unique. He plays with everyone, making our days brighter. He's a lovable mess, and we adore him. Our urgent need is for Miles's Aspiration Pneumonia treatment at Angell Animal Hospital; bills exceed $5,000, with $2-3K more needed. His health means restoring our home's joy. My name is Olha, and my dog Gina is my closest and most beloved family member. We moved from Ukraine to the U.S. in September. Gina was born with small eyes and cataracts, but on March 1st, her condition worsened. Her eye turned red, and she couldn’t find comfort. We visited urgent care and eye specialists, but the only solution is eye removal. This has been heartbreaking for both of us. Finally, on a friend’s recommendation, we visited Angell Veterinary Hospital Boston where an ophthalmologist was able to diagnose the issue. Gina is suspected to have glaucoma in her left eye with a pressure of 66 and inflammation, while her other eye is fine. We’ve started medical treatment, but unfortunately, it hasn’t shown positive results yet. Gina has lived with poor vision her entire life, but she’s always been a true hero. She loves walking off-leash, feeling the freedom with every step. Gina adores other animals, especially cats, and is incredibly kind. For me, she’s a healer. In every stressful moment, she’s there, filling my life with light and joy. Her love and loyalty make every day special. As refugees from Ukraine, we don’t have enough funds for the $3,000 eye removal surgery Gina urgently needs to relieve her pain. We adopted him as a companion for Leia, our first dog, who struggles with anxiety. Jack has brought love, comfort, and joy to our lives and truly completes our family. Within the first week of adopting Jack, we noticed pain and discomfort in his hind legs. At his first check-up on Oct 4th, our vet recommended an orthopedic consult. After sedated X-rays, Jack was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 10 months old. The best treatment option is Total Hip Replacement. Jack was seen at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston for a surgical consult on Dec 10th. Jack has helped Leia with her anxiety so much that we were able to drive to Vermont to visit their doggie grandparents for the first time without any anti-nausea medication. They can now stay home alone calmly, allowing us to enjoy a dinner date for the first time in a year. Jack and Leia love playing together and get along so well, making them the perfect companions for each other. We want to give Jack the best chance at a happy, pain-free life, but his $12,000 surgery is an unexpected financial challenge. Hope was the last pup in her litter, the one no one wanted, but from the moment she came into our lives, we knew she was special. Hope has been diagnosed with mammary cancer, and her original hospital couldn’t handle the operation due to multiple small tumors in her stomach. She now requires care from specialized veterinarians to undergo the necessary treatment and surgery to help her overcome this challenging condition. Hope is truly one of a kind. No matter how tough your day is, she’ll be the first to greet you with her boundless energy as soon as you walk through the door. One of her cutest quirks is how she brings her blanket out of her cage, just like Linus from Snoopy, whenever we’re in the living room or kitchen. It’s her way of being part of the family, always ready to share love and warmth. The doctor’s estimate for Hope’s treatment is in the thousands, which we didn’t expect after just paying for her UTI surgery. Funds are tight, and time isn’t on our side. Loki was found in a wood pile in upstate NY in October with his litter mates 8 years ago. I loved him at first sight. We brought him to NH and he has been the most energetic, wild monkey/dog cat I have ever known. He lives inside but likes to run outside in the grass and woods. He follows right next to me, sniffing then running back. He is my best companion. I started noticing changes in Loki's behavior last year. I thought it was his age and change of seasons. But it got progressively worse; not bathing, not purring, not meowing, getting stuck in small places, walking aimlessly. I took him to our regular vet, then specialists, then a neurologist, an opthamologist, and a psychic. Eventually I saved for a CT scan and it confirmed a brain tumor. Loki loves everything. The world is fascinating to him and he chases every experience; catching baby snakes and bringing them to me on our snake hunting walks, (I save them), chasing bubbles, the ceiling fan and his sister Luna. He loves people and dogs, his favorite food is KFC and spinach. Yup. He loves me. All I have to do is call him and he runs and jumps into my arms - ready or not. Loki was a treat to myself after finally getting my own home post-divorce. I am a single woman, I have 2 grown kids and own a small business. He is all the good things to me. He's a mixed breed dog rescued from St. Thomas and brought up to MA to his furever home with us. He is 6 years old and sadly, he has a lot of pre-existing conditions (severe skin allergies, torn ligaments in his back two legs, and bad hips) that are not covered by insurance. Leon is my fiancé’s and my baby. He is loved dearly by the two of us with no other dogs in the home or any children. He’s spoiled wish squishmallows and treats, and loves snuggling in between us to end the day. He is a bit clumsy and not always are of his surroundings, so we have safeproofed much of our house. Leon loves visitors, especially his grandparents and neighbors. Leon LOVES squishmallows. His favorite three are a giant hermit crab, a fuzzy hedgehog, and his snuggle buddy eagle. He lives up to his island heritage by sunning himself for as long as possible outside during warm months, laying directly on warm stones or outdoor couches. He rarely barks, and instead whines and paws to convey himself. He is just the sweetest, most loving dog. Leon is undergoing a series of surgeries that total $12k at MSPCA Angell in Boston, where he also received dermatology care. He has torn ligaments in both of his back legs, which significantly impacts his mobility and quality of life (he can’t jump or walk for longer durations). His first surgery is in March, where he’ll stay overnight and get a plate inserted into his back right leg. We recently have had many emergency expense situations that have depleted our funds, including damage to our home. We’re a young couple who recently purchased a home last year. Leon’s medical expenses for both skin allergies and surgeries, all preexisting, are just too high.

Tessa

Tessa is a 6-year-old Plot Hound/Boxer Mix in Dartmouth, MA, who needs $2,000 for Kidney Scope & Cauterization.

Dartmouth, MA

Tessa was a rescue from South Carolina who ventured up north in 2017 as a puppy and met us in a Walmart parking lot in CT. Ever since that moment she has been a core family member and the love of our lives. She has helped kids grow up and learn what responsibility is and shown us what true unconditional love is. She has been the rock of our family ever since she came running off the trailer. Tessa loves a comfy bed and some sunlight to lay in and you better believe she is getting all up in the pillows. At night she can be found right next to mom in bed leaving everyone else with no space. She happily greets everyone with lots of kisses and is a big cuddle bug who loves and trusts everyone. Don't be fooled though because she has no problem destroying toys on a whim. Although she loves everyone she is equally terrified of all of mother nature. You can usually find her wrapped up in bed with her big red knit blanket during bad weather. The look of true joy on her face as she barrels to you when you come home from work is the most amazing part of the day. She has some of the most amazing facial expressions that truly show how stubborn she is. Tessa was a healthy and happy dog just having her yearly check up but unfortunately shortly after she began having issues urinating blood and is suspected to suffer from a rare condition called Idiopathic Renal Hematuria. After visits to 5 different vets, hospitals, & emergency rooms over the last 3 weeks it's been determined she requires a scope and cauterization somewhere in her kidney/bladder In the last year we have been taking care of my sisters 3 children with no assistance in addition to our own 3 kids and have been making it work. Sadly we have already spent $8k in 3 weeks and her future surgery is estimated to cost another 6k-10k. She is our child as well.

Bubbles is a Chow Chow Puppy in Boston, MA, who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head Ostectomy.

Boston, MA

Bubbles came into my life when I needed it most. She is my best friend. We live together in Boston, near several walking trails and parks. Her favorite things are belly rubs and hikes. Unfortunately, she sustained an injury in an attempt to chase a chipmunk on one of our off leash hikes. Bubbles is a very loyal puppy. She is always by her mom or dad’s side. She keeps a watchful eye over her family because she is very protective of them. Bubbles is my greatest source of happiness. Like her name, she is very bubbly and playful. She has so much energy that she can burst into zoomies after a long walk! She has the cutest sense of seriousness when food is involved. When there is a treat being offered, she somehow understands all her taught commands! Bubbles sustained an injury from a fall on one of her hikes. She is requiring femoral head surgery to be able to walk again. The vet at Angell Animal Medical Center Boston would conduct the surgery on her after we obtain the necessary funds. Bubbles is in need of femoral head ostectomy to eliminate her pain from her broken hip. Without this surgery, Bubbles will live in pain and she may go septic (requiring amputation). The surgery is a large expense that I can not afford.

I can’t bear to think of losing her. Sage is a perfect soul of love Sage always makes us laugh as sometimes when our other dogs come over to be petted Sage will take her head and push them away so she can get all the attention. The way Sage looks at me with the love in her eyes always makes me smile. Sage was diagnosed with a nerve sheath tumor of the right trigeminal nerve with tumor extending into the brainstem. Toby is a 6-year-old West Highland Terrier in Newton , MA, who needs $2,000 for Radiotherapy Post Amputation.

Newton, MA

Toby came to my life 6 yrs ago, as an anniversary present from my husband. It has been the best gift I have received in my life. We were not able to have kids, so Toby is my world. He is very spoiled by my parents and brothers, and he loves to watch TV, eat cheese and play with other dogs at the park. Toby sleeps with us in our bedroom, half a night with us then the other half he goes to his bed next to my bed. Like most dogs, he enjoys being with someone and not alone, so I get to work from home and spend time with him. He loves to go out, anywhere he doesn't really care, he just cares about going on car rides with us all the time. Toby is very special to me, he has been with me in my worst moments and if it weren't for him, I wouldn't know where I would be today. He was with me when I got diagnosed with CKD stage 3 in 2017, he was with me when i lost my job in 2018, he was with me when I separated from my husband in 2018 and with me during covid pandemic in 2020, SO, I feel super attached to him in every way. Toby was diagnosed with sarcoma in his limb (peripheral nerve sheath tumor) AND on the roots of his spinal cord. He had his back limb amputated and also had a semi pelvectomy. The oncologist said Radiotherapy was a great option for Toby, to make sure all the microscopic cancer cells disappear. MSCPA Angell in Boston is his hospital. I have spent around $25.000 in credit cards just to have him a few more years with me. I beg God to let me " borrow" him for a few more years, he is my only fur baby. The veterinary costs are so high, but I am willing to sacrifice everything so I can enjoy our life together.

Bridgewater, MA

Hi my name is Penny and I was adopted from an animal rescue in Texas. I was so excited to find my new home and couldn't believe my brother was coming home with my auntie, too! I am so happy we could stay together! I love my Mom, she always plays with me and takes me for walks! We go to the beach and I love to swim! I even have a mermaid life vest that helps me float. My brother and I love to dig holes together in the sand, too. While my mom is at work my Grandpa watches me. He gives me too many treats and bones, but don't tell Mom! I am a very sweet little girl and I love everyone I meet! I'm pretty sure everyone comes over just to see me! I love toys that squeak and I throw them in the air so I can chase them. My favorite thing to do is wrestle and play tug with my brother. I was so excited to be home, but I started feeling sick after 2 weeks. I was rushed to the hospital and they told me I have congestive heart failure because of something called PDA. I also couldn't breathe because I had pneumonia and fluid in my lungs. I had parasites and other infections too. I needed surgery to save my life. My mom was so scared! Penny stayed at the emergency vet for 4 days leaving just over a $3,000 bill. Penny required surgery for her PDA, and even though our vet went above and beyond with financial assistance, the bill was still over $4,000.

Neo was adopted as a kitten alongside his brother Morpheus. They are both 3 years old now. Neo has an unfortunate habit of eating random things. Our house is “cat” proof to the best of our abilities but he sometimes manages to find something. He has been in an emergency room 3 times for ingestion and blockage all with different objects. We have spend over $8,000 on just his medical bills. Neo loves his brother and my son very much. He is an integral part of our household. He keeps his brother company and his brother keeps him busy. I think they would be lost without each other Neo responds to whistling and other cues. He’s a smart guy, and very observant. He loves company and will cuddle anyone who comes to our house. Everyone who meets him says he is wonderful. As I stated early we spent nearly 8k on his medical treatments and this was with pet insurance, without it we would never be able to pay 30k or so. We know that he has this problem, we do everything in our power to help him but we love him and he deserves to be treated. I lost my job in February. I have a son, and two cats to take care of and my own medical bills as I was in the hospital for 2 weeks in march and April. We are having a difficult time

Murphy

Murphy is a 13-year-old Mixed Breed Dog in Newport, RI, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy.

Newport, RI

Murphy was adopted in 2010 from North Shore Animal Shelter in Salem, MA after being transported from Puerto Rico by Save A Sato. Flash forward to 2022, and he was diagnosed with an adenoma on his parathyroid. He had it surgically removed by a specialist, with daily follow up visits, and thrived for another year! A year later, he once again needs help. Murphy loves to spend his morning rolling in the grass, soaking up the sunshine. He points his nose in the air and sniffs the breeze, catching the news. Once he's done sunbathing, he runs inside for a special breakfast of an egg, over hard. He doesn't like them runny! He spends the the afternoon napping and watching his "stories" ( dogtv on youtube). Murphy is such a sweet and gentle soul. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He's always happy to see people, dogs, and any other animal. Since 2014, Murphy and I have fostered an assortment of animals. From a family of guinea pigs, to fluffles of bunnies, and many litters of kittens. His socialization efforts have gotten countless animals adopted. In March 2023, a visit to the vet for a small infection resulted in finding a large spleenic mass. Ultrasounds and xrays confirmed suspicions. An undisturbed spleenic mass could be a few things, but Murphy's is likely benign. However, the mass could burst at any time, and cause fatal internal bleeding. Murphy's specialist vet believes that removal of the spleen would be curative. Murphy's surgery was quoted at $5,500 with a 1 to 2 day hospital visit, plus minor travel expenses. We are living paycheck to paycheck, and still paying off last year's $8,000 parathyroidectomy, well as personal debts, including student loans.

Derry, NH

Odin Jones was born on August 10 with 11 brothers and sisters in Hampstead NH. We brought him home in October and he immediately started exploring his new surroundings. Odin is our first dog and he definitely has taught us a lot about being responsible for a pet and taking care of such a beautiful creature. We’ve learned much and he has definitely become part of the family. Odin loves to greet everyone who comes into the house with a wagging tail and hugs with a lot of slobbery kisses. He has his own playroom where we have all of his toys and enough space for him to get tuckered out. His current favorite toy is a kong brand turkey that we purchased for him recently. Odin is a very lovable pup who is quick to learn and very food motivated. If you have a treat in your hand, you can be sure he will listen to your every command. Heel, sit, stay, lay down, paw, he’ll do it all. Now if you don’t have a treat, then he gets a little hard of hearing haha. He has a habit of running away with and chewing on various household items(like our Christmas ornaments) Odin unfortunately has a bit of a taste for socks and has completely ingested and passed about 5 socks through vomiting and pooping. We ended up taking him to an emergency veterinary hospital and they discovered a very large sock that he is unable to pass. They recommended emergency surgery and gave us an estimate that we just can’t afford. The estimate was $5,500 Financial burden has impacted us especially greatly during these last few months going into the holiday season. Our car broke down, one of us lost a job, and we had to move unexpectedly. Any help would be greatly appreciated to get this puppy back to living his life

Trigger is a 7-year-old Mixed Pit Bull/Great Dane in Kingston, MA, who needs $2,000 for Wound Debridement with amputation of Left Leg.

Tasha found Trigger at a shelter. He was wandering the streets, had health issues and was undernourished. She was visiting him waiting for him to be healthy enough to leave. That took a bit. It also took a bit for her to convince us to have him join us. He made it to our home and brought brightness into Tasha’s life like no one else has ever been able to do and became the glue of our family Favorites: swimming, hiking and of course cuddling with mom. Very active. Took him on a family vacation to a Maine lake house last year. There were paddleboards. Trigger soon loved paddle boarding. Sitting proud on the board with mom navigating. He loved it so much that he would not stop. One day when we were done he turned around and went back to pull the board in the water. He wasn’t done! Not enough space to describe Trigger. So many stories, our daughter’s soul mate, the best dog ever. We forget he is a dog, having conversations with him and he talks back, planning vacations around him. He knows when you are sad, when you need a kiss. He loves cuddling and sleeping with mom, having the blankets wrapped around him just so. Not an early riser, loves to sleep in. Tasha & Trigger in an accident. Trigger ejected despite restraints. Out of state working. Taken to clinic: stopped bleeding, stitches. Multiple wounds, left leg degloved. Next day knew something wrong. Taken to hospital, stayed overnight. Wounds when stitched not cleaned out, infection set in. Home to Mass.to another hospital. Neurological and heart issues. Plan: save leg but couldn’t Means everything to have Trigger. No question what he needed he would get. We owed him for what he has given us. Strain to pay these bills. Tasha just beginning her career. Pandemic sidelined her for a bit. Her father has cancer & disabled. I can only work limited basis

I just purchased Chanel for my daughter between 3 to 4 weeks ago and she has already made such an impact in our lives. She is a big part of our family and my daughter looks forward to her coming on rides to drop her off and pick her up from school every day since we have got her. She is like my second daughter. She is the sweetest little girl. She loves to cuddle but she also loves to play. She also keeps our older dog feeling young by chasing each other around the house and she sits at our bunny rabbits cage and talks to her in the mornings when we wake up to get ready for the day. Such a loving dog that we are so happy to have First of all she is beautiful, she is sweet, she is loving, she is cuddly. She also sleeps with her tongue sticking out just a little bit which is the cutest thing ever. She also has a lot of personality and shows everyone in the house love when she wakes up. Never lets anyone go to the bathroom on our own. She is being treated at a pet hospital in Boston Massachusetts. She was seen in the emergency hospital last night when she fell off of the bed and hurt her paw. We later found out that it was a fracture in her elbow so we are now here seeing a orthopedic surgeon and they have deemed surgery is necessary Due to the fact that I just purchased this dog a few weeks ago and have already had two prior vet visits to get her up-to-date on her vaccines and I do not have much money left over for this very expensive surgery

Sometimes in life, you meet a dog and just know they were meant to be yours. That's what happened to Haley M. "I went to the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA. The adoption counselor walked me over to a puppy. His sisters were just adopted, so he was sad and alone. I sat with my back to the wall in the greeting area, and Murphy plopped himself between my back and the wall. Murphy chose me. The rest was history," Haley tells Waggle. And over the last 12 years, Murphy's kind-hearted nature has made an impact on Haley and others. "Murphy and I have a wonderful relationship," she says. "He has changed my life, and I can't imagine being without him. Murphy is my emotional support animal. He loves to meet people and always knows when someone could use a hug. He loves going to the beach, rolling in the grass, and soaking up the sun. My favorite habit of his is when he rests his head on a couch or bed and waits for attention, tail wagging." But Haley just got devastating news; Murphy has Hyperparathyroidism. That's a rare disease of the thyroid gland that causes it to produce too much parathyroid hormone. That hormone helps regulate a dog's calcium level. If it's not treated, calcium levels can build up and mineralize organs, which can be fatal. Luckily for Murphy, surgery can help. He's got a specialist lined up to treat him at Angell Animal Medical Center in Jamaica Plain, MA. Haley is hopeful there's something to help Murphy, but she is devastated because she can't afford all his care. "Murphy's surgery is extremely expensive," Haley says. "It also requires aftercare and regular retesting at the veterinary specialist. His treatment has been quoted at $8,000 with the potential to cost more." Haley uploaded this Waggle campaign, hoping you will help Murphy. He's such a gem, and she does not want to lose him to this condition. "Murphy has assisted me fostering tons of animals for our local animal shelter," Haley says. "He is extremely beneficial at socializing foster animals and making them more adoptable due to their comfort with other species. He has influenced the lives of over 30 kittens, more than 25 bunnies, and one litter of guinea pigs. He was originally rescued by Save a Sato in Puerto Rico." Please help Haley rescue her rescue dog one more time!

I have 5 children and every birthday every Christmas my kids would ask for a dog. My friend at work often heard me say i would love a dog for my kids but i cannot afford it. So she surprised me with the news that her dogs were having puppies and she would give my kids one of them. And we were so lucky because Ollie was the only puppy born. We are so blessed to have him. Ollie is a great addition to the family my kids are absolutely crazy and Ollie is a puppy and is full of energy and full of life so he blends very well. The kids love having a dog. They are constantly showing him off to their friends. He loves family and with Covid we don't see family very often but when he sees my mom my cousins my grandparents he goes crazy full of excitement. Ollie is special because he has so much love to give he's so innocent just like children. He is a companion, a friend. I feel so bad that he has to go through surgery and is in pain. He just loves his family so much. But honestly cannot live without him the kids would be devastated if something happened to him Ollie was playing with my four-year-old son and I believe my son might've accidentally dropped him and suffered a tibial fracture and the only option is surgery. I was cooking dinner and took an eye out for them for a second and heard him yell out in pain and I know that something happened. I have never seen him in pain or cry out in pain I've been out of work for over six weeks due to a pulmonary embolism and I'm slated to go back in January I have an assignment so this surgery right before Christmas is a lot of financial burden. Yes otherwise healthy dog and my other option was to amputate his legs

Sarge and I have been together for a little over a year. I got him off Facebook, and he has been the light of my life ever since. He’s been there through me at my worst and now I’m here to do the same for him. Sarge is a year and a half old and has gone through so much in the past week. I’d do anything to help him Sgt. Tibbs has been my best friend since the day I got him. He’s always so lovable, social, and just flat out amazing. He loves going on the roof of the house, and playing with his best puppy friend Monte. Tibbs loves his scratching boards and laying under blankies. He loves getting treaties (chicken is his fav) Tibbs is so easy going and lovable. He turns dog people into cat people with his personality. He will climb up on your lap and cuddle with you without a question. He never hisses, bites, or scratches. He is very much a lover not a fighter in that sense. Everyone that comes over says how cool my cat is In October, Tibbs had an obstruction of his urethra. I was told he could become blocked. Well he did. He has become blocked 3 times in the past 5 days and now needs surgery for a more permanent catheter. Because of the blockages, his kidney levels have been very off, making him susceptible to kidney failure. This was all so sudden. I’ve been trying to cover what I can but it’s not enough. I’ll do anything to save Sarge. Pets aren’t just animals. They are family. Please help me
