Pepper June
At 12 Years Young, Pepper June Deserves a Fresh Start
Lutz, FL • AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue
Pepper June may be 12 years old, but her story is just beginning. This tiny six-pound sweetheart recently found herself alone and without a home after being picked up as a stray and brought to the county shelter. We may never know how she ended up there, but one thing is certain: despite everything she has been through, Pepper June has never stopped loving. From the moment she arrived at Animalluvers Dream Rescue, this gentle senior girl won everyone over with her sweet personality and trusting heart. As Pepper June settled into rescue, it became clear that she had been living with severe dental disease for far too long. Dental pain can make it difficult to eat, play, and enjoy life, yet she never complained. Determined to give her the comfort she deserves, Pepper June underwent a much-needed dental procedure with the incredible team at Harmony Vet Care. She received a dental cleaning and multiple extractions to relieve her pain and improve her quality of life. Now, she is recovering beautifully and getting ready for the next chapter of her journey: finding the loving forever home she deserves. Senior dogs like Pepper June are often overlooked, but they have so much love left to give. In just one week, we have watched her begin to relax, trust, and show us the joyful little dog she was always meant to be. Your donation will help cover the cost of Pepper June's dental care, medications, follow-up treatment, and ongoing veterinary expenses as she prepares for adoption. After spending her golden years without the care she needed, Pepper June deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and spoiled. Please consider making a donation today to help give this deserving senior girl the happy ending she has been waiting for. Welcome to the Animalluvers Dream Rescue family, Pepper June. Your best days are still ahead of you

Cesar
Cesar is a 9 year old Shih Tzu in Wimauma, FL, who needs $2,900 for TECA Surgery.
Wimauma, FL
Cesar is a beloved member of our family and has been with us since 2019. He is also an emotional support companion for my middle son and provides comfort and stability every day. Unfortunately, I am living on a fixed income due to a long-term disability and work part-time as a substitute teacher during the school year. Because schools are closed during the summer months, I do not have employment. Cesar has suffered from chronic ear infections for several years. Despite treatment, his condition has worsened, and veterinarians have discovered a growth in his ear canal. He now requires a Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) surgery to remove the diseased tissue, relieve his pain, and improve his hearing and quality of life. The surgery and treatment will be performed through Harmony Vet Care. Cesar is especially bonded to my middle son, Tristen. They do everything together, from daily walks and long car rides to quick trips to the store. Cesar loves being around people and happily greets visitors with his toys when friends come over. He has a sweet personality with just enough grumpiness to make us laugh. Like most Shih Tzu, he would much rather nap beside his family than exercise. Due to a long-term disability, I live on a fixed income and work part-time as a substitute teacher when school is in session. The cost of Cesar’s surgery is more than I can afford. Seeing him healthy, comfortable, and able to hear again would be a tremendous blessing.

Aura
Please help Aura fight her skin infection.
St Petersburg, FL • Compassion Kind Foundation
For more than a week, Aura wandered the streets of Jamaica alone. Terrified of people and desperately trying to survive, this sweet stray was so fearful that no one could get close enough to help her. Day after day, she remained just out of reach, suffering in silence as her skin condition worsened. Finally, after being spotted for over a week, she wandered into an outdoor storage cabinet. It was the break everyone had been hoping for. Rescuers acted quickly and safely transferred her into a crate, ending her days of running and hiding. Now she is finally safe. As we begin the process of triaging her medical needs, we already know she is suffering from severe demodectic mange. Her skin is inflamed, painful, and in desperate need of treatment. We don't have all the answers yet, and we don't have invoices in hand, but we know her road to recovery will require extensive veterinary care, medications, diagnostics, and ongoing support. For the first time in a long time, she doesn't have to worry about where she'll sleep or whether she'll survive another day. Now it's our turn to help her heal. We are asking for donations to help cover her upcoming medical expenses. Every contribution will go toward giving this frightened girl the treatment, comfort, and second chance she so desperately deserves. Thank you for helping us show her that people can be kind.

Jake
Jake is in a critical stage of ehrlichia and needs your immediate help.
St Petersburg, FL • Compassion Kind Foundation
Jake is only about six months old and is currently fighting for his life. He has ehrlichia, a disease we have treated before, but he has progressed to a critical stage where he now needs an immediate blood transfusion to survive. Without it, he does not have a chance. He deserves the chance for a long life and you can directly help with that by donating. We are moving forward with his care at Tampa Bay Veterinary Services because there is no other option, but the cost of this lifesaving transfusion is $5,000, and we do not have the funds. We are asking, truly pleading, for our community to step in for Jake. Every single dollar matters, even a couple dollars, helps us get closer to giving him the chance he deserves. We never want a situation like this to take away from the other animals we are trying to save, but right now Jake needs everything we have, and we cannot do it without you. He is just a baby. He deserves a long, healthy, beautiful life. He deserves the chance to grow up, to play, to be safe, to be loved. Please donate if you can and share his story. Your support is what will save Jake.

Rosie
Rosie is a 6 year old Chihuahua in Pinellas Park, FL, who needs $2,000 for Ovariohysterectomy.
Pinellas Park, FL
Rosie was the runt of her litter. But she doesn’t know that! Nobody wanted her from this private breeder we came across some time ago. My husband got a call and a picture of Rosie and he fell in love. We went to get her and ended up getting her biological sister too. They’ve never been apart. My husband 6’ 2” 250 of muscle, and Rosie quickly became “his dog” and she knew it. Shes another daughter Up until 2 days ago, Rosie has been our miniature Rottweiler, She protected her sister (something I’ve never seen before) Rosie has zero energy, shallow breathing and according to the Drs here at Beacon Er, The only way to save her an emergency hysterectomy and a drain tube and follow-ups. We were told BY A VET if she wasn’t going to be an outside dog neutered wasn’t needed. We have 24-48hrs Rosie is not a pet. She is a member of the family. She has never been separated from her biological sister or her other sisters in the house. She truly is unlike any other pet I’ve ever had and her personality is so unique watching her control. My husband like a daughter does is something special everybody loves their pets, but please help us save Rosie To have her healthy again, would have our family complete again. We feel absolutely horrible thinking that this could’ve been prevented by having her neutered but listening to a vet. We did not think that we would be the cause of any harm to the sweet girl please I’m begging

Rocky
Rocky is a 11 Year Old Lhasa Apso in Zephyrhills, FL, Who Needs $1,846 for Perineal Hernia Surgery.
Zephyrhills, FL
Rocky is our family dog he has been in our lives going on 12 years in December. We love him so much. He is such a sweet dog. My dog is extremely important to me. I get very worried when anything is wrong with him because he's been through medical issues before, and I always want him to be okay. He is a good, calm dog who acts normal even when he doesn't feel well. He trusts me and stays close. Planned pethood where he was evaluated for a right anal sac mass measuring approximately 6 cm. A previous medical history includes a perianal hernia repair in 2023, which healed well. Recently, I noticed a firm swelling near the right anal sac, which is why I took him to the vet. Rocky has a strong bond with our family. He always knows when someone is stressed or sad, and he comes over to comfort us. He loves attention, enjoys being petted, and is happiest when he’s sitting next to one of us. He brings a sense of peace into the home. We love him so much! This surgery is more than I can afford right now. I'm facing financial strain, and the cost of diagnostics, the surgery, medications, and recovery care is overwhelming. I want to do everything I can to help him, but the expenses are beyond what I can manage alone.

Lance
Lance is a 3 year old French Bulldog in Spring Hill , FL, who needs $1,800 for Rectum Prolapse Construction.
Spring Hill, FL
This handsome baby was a victim of owner abuse and was dropped off in middle of summer with prolapse rectum and cryptorchid with no good or water. He was taken into animal shelter where I fell in love with him and adopted him. He has developed rectum prolapse and it’s a dare emergency to get him into surgery to actually fix the prolapse not just do a string intact that doesn’t hold which was what was performed at animal shelter. Lance is the biggest love bug. He never sees a stranger and loves so much even though he’s not had the easiest life thus far. Him being dropped and was abused in prior home to having lice or death medical emergency. This boy is full of life and hope I can get him the surgery he desperately needs so he can live out his life. He brings so much h joy to my darkest days. He lights up the room. I work as Airbnb cleaner and literally went from making 1000 a week to down to 500 a month. It would mean the world to have Lance back to normal and be able to live and not die which is what is going to happen if surgery isn’t performed.

Hamlet
Hamlet needs help after being found tied to a stop sign, blind and in pain
Lutz, FL • Animalluvrs Dream Rescue
Hamlet is a young, gentle dog who has already been through unimaginable suffering. He was found tied to a stop sign, completely alone and blind. Rescuers soon learned why — both of Hamlet’s corneas had ruptured, likely after a long period of untreated infection or trauma. The pain he must have endured is beyond words. Hamlet sat helpless and blind, waiting for someone to care. Thankfully, Animalluvrs Dream Rescue stepped in just in time to save him. Hamlet was immediately taken for emergency care, where veterinarians determined that his eyes could not be saved. He underwent surgery to remove both eyes, freeing him from the constant agony he had silently endured. Now, Hamlet is recovering and beginning to heal — not just physically, but emotionally. Even without sight, he’s showing everyone his resilient spirit: wagging his tail, leaning in for affection, and trusting the humans who finally showed him kindness. Your support can give Hamlet the second chance he deserves. Donations will go directly toward his surgery costs, medications, and continued recovery care as he learns to navigate the world safely and confidently. Update 10/29/25 Hamlet’s eye biopsies came back BENIGN! While his eyes were in rough shape and removing them was absolutely the right choice, there’s no cancer or serious disease found. We’re so proud of Hamlet for being so brave through everything and are thrilled that he’ll get to live comfortably and happily — finally free from pain. Your support can give Hamlet the second chance he deserves. Donations go directly toward his surgery costs, medications, and continued recovery care as he learns to navigate the world safely and confidently.

Jelly roll
Jelly roll is a 14 month old American Bulldog in Ocala, FL, who needs $1,800 for Prolapsed Urethra.
Ocala, FL
He’s 14 months old been to a few dog shows for fun, loves to travel, great brother to his other furry family members, super sweet dog special is a understatement. Found out on Thursday that he has a prolapsed urethra, came out of no where, was just at vet 2 months ago.but apparently it’s a 1800-2200 $ surgery. I’m disabled. He’s super sweet, I’ve had a dog for the last 22 years and he’s hands down the best dog I’ve had or seen, protective of his sister, I don’t know how to word it he’s just very special. I’m recently disabled from a few car accidents and a blood disorder, but this came out of nowhere this week, told he needs the surgery immediately, and I don’t know what to do for him.

Lovebug
Lovebug is a 1 year old American Shorthair in Brooksville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery & Antibiotics.
Brooksville, FL
LoveBug hurt himself yesterday, and I am not sure how. His shoulder is swollen, and it may be dislocated or broken. I have been keeping him warm and limiting his mobility in his large kennel. The kennel has its litter box, food, water, and soft blankets. He is eating, drinking, and eliminating. Today, when I was checking his shoulder, I noticed an open wound with blood and pus draining from it. I am seeking assistance due to my current financial situation. I do not have the money to take him to my vet at Petco in Spring Hill, Florida. I have spoken with them over the phone, and they stated that the cost would be $80 for the office visit, $400 for x-rays, and additional costs associated with treatment, including possible surgery. I am beside myself with worry that I will lose my cat. He is my cuddler when I have my PTSD days. Please help! Whatever you can afford would be greatly appreciated and paid forward. I am disabled, 65, and I am living on disability social security benefits. I had some savings for emergencies. However, I had a car repair emergency that took the small savings I had accumulated.

Rosie
Rosie’s Road to Recovery – Healing Inside and Out
Lutz, FL • Animalluvrs Dream Rescue
Rosie wandered alone onto a stranger’s property—emaciated, exhausted, and clinging to life. The homeowner, heartbroken at her condition, did the right thing and contacted Animal Control. It was immediately clear Rosie needed more than just a shelter—she needed urgent medical care and compassion. That’s when Animalluvr’s Dream Rescue stepped in without hesitation. When Rosie arrived, her condition stunned even the most seasoned rescuers. She was skin and bones, her frail body barely able to support her. She was covered in dried mud, crawling with ticks and fleas, and her face—oh, her sweet face—was ravaged with necrotic, infected wounds so severe that her bone was exposed. We may never know what happened to Rosie, or how long she suffered. But we do know this: Rosie wants to live. She was rushed to the emergency vet, where they immediately started pain management, antibiotics, and IV fluids to stabilize her. She’s now under constant care, finally receiving the love, medical treatment, and comfort she’s been denied for so long. Rosie’s journey to healing will be long and costly—but with your support, we can give her the life she’s always deserved. Please consider donating to help us make that possible.

Chloe
Chloe is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Port Richey, FL, who needs $1,200 for Cystotomy.
Port Richey, FL
Chloe is a Chihuahua-Terrier mix that we’ve had since she was about five months old. She was born in the people’s home and the only puppy they didn’t rehome right away from her litter. She’s got a cheerfully energetic disposition and is so cute. But they eventually realized they couldn’t keep an extra dog. Our whole family, human and animal, has loved my “soul dog” since then. We noticed Chloe was frequently urinating, occasionally as she was waking up from a nap without intending to. The smell was strong, and she waddled around straining afterward thinking she wasn’t done. Then she’d ask to go out. We treated her for several UTIs before being able to get an x-ray at VCA Bayonet Point, where they found multiple large bladder stones! Chloe is the most hilarious dog I’ve ever met! She licks all the other dogs and cats or barks at them when they’re misbehaving. She constantly wiggles everywhere while smiling. She loves her name and will dance over if she hears anyone say it. Frequently, she will climb her human family members for a hug. She needs to go on a diet now, but she dances for food and when greeting her friends too. I am disabled and Chloe’s father is out of work. We have a medically fragile rescue kitten and several other healthy pets so things are tight. I want Chloe wiggling through our lives for as many years as she can, happy and healthy. Please help me help Chloe!

Rubble
Rubble is a 7 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback in Tampa, FL, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.
Tampa, FL
We have had rubble and his sister since the day they were born(we own the father, and the mom lives across the street). He loves playing with our daughter who is crazy about him, he waits for her at her bus stop everyday after school. Rubble was shot with a bb gun by one of the kids on our neighborhood,it shattered his elbow, and now he has to get it amputated. He is a part of our family. We desperately are in need of help to pay for the amputation before his elbow starts to get infected from the inside out. The other option would be the get rods put in his arm which would be a lot more money and I feel that option would be very difficult due to the fact we have the other puppy and the dad. Rubble is in pain and is suffering. Seeing rubble have to stay inside and watch his sister and his dad play together from the window kills me. He seems so depressed, and even tho it's hard to think about the fact he is just a pup losing a limb, I feel like there's plenty of 3 legged pups out there who have happy healthy lives. I just want to see him happy again. After Helene and Milton came through our town and nearly destroyed everything, flooding our home. We don't have much left but each other at this point. I would hate to have to separate from rubble and find someone who will be able to financially take care of the surgery.

Bailey
Bailey is a 1 year old Border Collie in Riverview, , who needs $1,000 for Bladder Tumor Removal.
Riverview
Hi! My wife and I have fallen on hard times after losing my job after the hurricane and my wife being in a wheelchair needing surgeries on her leg and foot. We don’t have any funds to put towards what Bailey needs at the moment so we are trying to exhaust any resources we are able to find to help. Bailey is everything to my wife and we’re trying to see if anyone is able to help. Please! Bailey may have a bladder tumor. She is peeing all over herself without even realizing what she’s doing. I’ve given her multiple baths and the smell coming from her pee is far from normal. She is clotting and is not on her period. She is obsessed with my wife. She is definitely my wife’s dog and eases her mind while she’s been in the wheelchair. She comforts everyone and is a big part of the kids’ lives as well. Lost my job after the hurricane, if my wife loses her pup, I’m afraid she will lose herself as well. Please if you can help that would be very appreciated. Our other dog is extremely attached too.

Nike
Nike is a 1 year old French Bulldog in tampa, FL, who needs $1,500 for Cystotomy.
tampa, FL
Nike is a 1 yr old black/tan male frenchie. We bought him from a family friend with all paperwork and chip. We currently live in an apartment in Tampa Florida. He is a sweet boy. Playful, funny, outgoing, and caring. We love our dog! We see him as family not a pet. He is also my emotional support pet. Majority of the time, I thank God for him since he has helped me through some dark times. Nike was seen at the ER Tuesday 10/22/24 at Veterinary Emergency Group due to having difficulty urinating. we found out he had a stone lodged in his urethra. they were able to unblock the urine and push the stone back into his bladder so he can at least urinate. He now needs a cystotomy to remove the stone completely. I have called around and been quoted between 1500-2200 for this surgery. As stated before, Nike is like my child. I do not view him as my pet. He gets as much love from me as my children do. He has been there for me when I was emotional and needed someone to comfort me. My family loves him. I cannot see myself without my pet. I was told to surrender my pet if I couldn't afford the surgery but I cant see myself giving him up. I hope we can get the help we need for him. I was told by the vet that this surgery is crucial. if I don't get it done, the stone can obstruct the pee again and nike will die eventually. I cannot afford a $2k surgery. I hope we can get the help we need for Nike. He deserves to be happy and healthy again.

Stripey
Stripey is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Clearwater, FL, who needs $1,400 for Mastectomy/Mammary Chain and Tumor Extractions.
Clearwater, FL
I raised Stripey from her birth 12 yrs ago. She's my whole world and she feels the same. She never leaves my side and won't get up unless I do, and puts her claw through my shirt or sleeve when she sleeps so I can't get up without her knowing. We've been going through a tough time lately, financially and with having a proper place to live. Stripey has Mammary Tumors on her underside leg, and chest. They appeared very sudden, and the two on the underside leg burst, causing bleeding and a lot of pain and discomfort. I took her to the Veterinary Emergency Group and she needs immediate surgery to have them removed before they reach her glands. It's killing me seeing her so miserable and unable to get comfortable, or sleep. Stripey's the sweetest cat and she needs me and I can't live without her. She's depending on me for help, but without money for surgery I'm completely helpless to save her. I was laid off from my job and have fallen behind in bills. Now the one thing that's most important in the world to me needs me to save her It's the worst possible time to be out of work, when Stripey needs me most She's all I have in the world. I cannot let her die, but the money I need to save her isn't even a remote possibility in my situation. I've tried everywhere for help and this is truly my last hope.

She has been my constant companion, my source of strength, and a deep emotional support for both me and my father, especially after the passing of my mother. Ocean
Ocean is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Saint Petersburg , FL, who needs $1,200 for Emergency Spay.
Saint Petersburg, FL
Our sweet Ocean girl was picked for us by my two kids. She is our own pet. More like our 3rd child. She has been with us for just about a year. When she was born she had dark blue eyes and my daughter picked her name out. So Ocean became her name. She is a spoiled inside dog, who is very loving and very friendly. About a month ago week took our sweet girl to vet because she wasn’t acting her self. The vet said it could be one of two things. A uti or pyrometra. She prescribed us some anti biotics and an anti inflammatory and we were on our way. But 4 days ago she became ill again with the same symptoms. We heard that harmony vet clinic would be able to help. Our ocean girl is the best pup we could’ve asked for. We got her when she was 10 weeks and she is now like our daughter. Our kids love her so much as do we. We taught her so much in this last year from sit. Stay, roll over, to even shutting the front door when she comes inside. She is such a lover and she sleeps with us every night and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We love and need her! I have a job and have been there for almost 4 years and it has been good. But within the last 2 months work has gotten so slow the have been cutting our hours more and more every week. If I was able to get my girl heathy again I can manage. I’m scared because I can’t afford

Layla
Layla is a 10 month old Poodle in St Petersburg , FL, who needs $1,700 for FHO Procedure to Correct Hip Dislocation.
St Petersburg, FL
We got Layla from a previous owner looking to remove her with someone that works remote. We live in an apartment and I work remote, so it was a perfect match and fit. Ever since we brought Layla home, she has been an absolute dream. She loves to give hugs and receive lots of hugs and kisses. She is also great companion for me when kids are gone to school and work. Gets along great with our cat. Layla was hit by a car on 02/20 in the complex parking lot which dislocated her hip. I witnessed the entire incident and it crushed me when she got hit. She needs a FHO surgery. She will be getting this procedure on 04/06 at Harmony Vet Care at the Carrolwood branch. These procedures are very costly. It breaks my heart everyday and I hope she is not in pain when she tries to hobble around. Layla loves our cat named poppi. They play very well together. He likes it when she gives him kisses. Layla loves playing with her squeaky hershey kiss bar. She loves to try and stand up and give you a hug. She loves to cuddle in your lap when we are sitting on the couch. Layla is the most loving and affectionate we ever had. That is why the entire family is heart broken over injury I am a single parent with two dependents and cannot afford this needed surgery for Layla. I just want her to be able to walk fully again. So she can get back to running and jumping.

Harley
Harley is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Brandon, FL, who needs $350 for Exam & Diagnostic Testing.
Brandon, FL
I rescued Harley as a baby in March of 2021, after my 3-year-old cat, Callie passed away suddenly from lymphoma. Harley has been an amazing addition to the family My kids are 3 & 5, and they have all grown up together. Harley is so vocal, loving & has such a personality. I can't imagine coming into the house without her perky, cute welcoming. Harley loves to spend time outside, hunting lizards. (There's always a lizard in my house) She is always so vocal, always wanting the pets and cuddles. She will jump on the closest surface to me, and meow until I pet her. She sleeps in bed with me, my 2 dogs and other cat. They are all so close and play together, and cuddle! Harley is such a character. She will meow to go outside, to eat, to be picked up. She loves to be held and pet. If I'm in the kitchen she will jump on the counter and stand up, putting her front paws on my chest and purrs. She also licks. She will lick my hand to pet her, lick my face when she's on my chest, lick my hair. She's such a quirky girl. Harley goes to the vet annually, has had no prior medical issues. As of 3 days ago, she has been hiding under my bed which is not like her. She isn't eating and drinking, as I am putting food, water and a litter box under the bed. She goes to Harmony Vet Care in Brandon, FL. My cat that passed from cancer started hiding and I knew something was wrong. I just know something is wrong with her. I work more than full time, 60 hours a week and its barely enough. I just need to make sure my baby is okay. Just to be able to prevent her from getting any sicker, would mean the world to me and my boys, and her furry siblings

Steve
Steve is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Saint Petersburg , FL, who needs $2,000 for Unblock Urethral Obstruction.
Saint Petersburg, FL
I met my sweet boy Steve about 2 years ago. He was a stray cat who frequented the neighborhood some of my dearest friends live in. Hearing his meows as he ran down the sidewalk to greet me before i went into my friends house always brightened my day. So when I was finally settled in my new apartment with my current partner here in st. petersburg, we decided to adopt him. Steve has always been a sweet cat. We have two other pets, a dog named Gabbi, and another cat named Mango. At first it took some time for Mango to adjust to his new family members but now they act just like brothers would. Steve used to be very shy around Gabbi and would never go too close but now shockingly i can say, i’ve caught them laying together. There is nothing I don’t love about Steve and I am grateful for him everyday. He is our expert biscuit maker, with thumbs to prove it, and the most cuddly cat, especially when we need it the most. His bond with our other cat Mango and the way they play fight and run around the house, no matter what time it is, warms our hearts and makes us laugh. About 1 1/2 weeks ago Steve was showing signs of extreme discomfort and was not acting like himself at all. He had a urinary blockage and had to be admitted to a hospital overnight to clear said blockage. For a week he seemed to doing just fine until yesterday he was straining to pee again. So today we took him back to the urgent vet. Without treatment Steve could pass away, and I cannot bear that We are two young adults supporting ourselves and already I had to open a CareCredit card to pay for his first hospital visit, which was around 2,810 dollars. We simply cannot afford another operation or a more permanent fix which would cost around 3-5k. Please help us.

Lucky
Lucky is a 1-month-old Domestic Shorthair kitten in Sarasota, FL, who needs $1,350 for emergency surgery.
Sarasota, FL • Fox Foster Kittens
When Fox Foster Kittens saved Lucky, they discovered he was lucky to be alive. He was only one month old and suffered gruesome injuries. Two of his legs were shredded to the bone and infected. "Thankfully, Fox Foster Kittens came to his rescue just in time," Samantha F., with the group, tells Waggle. "It's unclear how he sustained such horrific injuries." Lucky needed emergency surgery to amputate his front right and back left mangled legs. It was the only option to save his life. "It was a nerve-wracking surgery, and we weren't sure he was going to make it, but this tiny and mighty one-pound boy held on," Samantha says. "The brave and resilient cat survived against all odds!" Lucky is doing well post-op and learning to balance and get around on his two opposing legs. "Adjusting to life on two legs isn't easy, but we know kittens are incredibly resilient," Samantha adds. "He's already learning to navigate and getting stronger each day." Now the rescue group is racing to raise money to pay for his surgery and future medical needs. Every dollar you give will make a huge difference in Lucky's life.

Thor
Thor is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Zephyrhills , FL, who needs $350 for Perineal Urethrostomy.
Zephyrhills, FL
Thor came into my life when he was found by a former coworker that spotted Thor in the middle of a very busy intersection in Tampa, Fla where someone had dumped him. I seen him and new he had to be in my home. Thir is very smart and affectionate. He likes to chill on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels. He has been my emotional support for 5 years, I cannot imagine not having him here with Thor has a routine, wakes me up at 6 am for breakfast and then goes out onto the porch where he likes to chill for hours. His sister, Amelia sometimes goes out to wake him up to play. These two are always together. He loves to lay with me on the couch while watching TV. If I am on my phone or computer he will jump up and demand attention. I really can't explain the bond me and Thor have, it's just very strong and I would do anything for both of my cats. He loves to burrow under things, he thinks he is hiding from you. He is a gentle soul who deserves the best. I have never seen a brown & white Tuxedo cat, I guess that is why he is my special boy. Thor has urinary blockages. I have tried everything from medication, supplements, and prescription food. He does ok for a little while, then he gets blocked so bad that I have to take him to the emergency vet where they can unblock him. He has had 7 blockages, 4 since February 2023. Now I am facing surgery ( Perineal Urethrostomy). I am on a fixed income (Disability). I have exhausted my savings to save him I know with this surgery, he will not be in any more pain. Thor is my life, as also his sister Amelia. I just want him back home with his family.

Ella
Ella is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Tampa, FL, who needs $650 for Tooth Extraction.
Tampa, FL
Ella is a 5-year-old baby that we adopted at the end of 2017 from the Humane society. She has grown with us through two moves in our local area. Ella was diagnosed with epilepsy at about 16 months old, and has learned to live with seizures, taking medication daily to help keep them at a minimum. She lives with me, her mommy, and her little brother, Smokey. Ella is the queen of the house and makes sure everyone knows it. She visits us while we sit on the sofa, and makes sure she occupies a lap, no matter how inconvenient her timing can be. She loves to boss around Smokey and makes sure to sit on our bar chairs where she can see us when she cooks. Ella loves to stare out the window and has even made friends with lizards and toads on occasion. Ella is a sweet and loving baby who brings so much joy into our lives. She loves to play with her crinkly ramen packet toy and chase after the red dot made by the laser pointer. She has learned several commands, including "shake", and she's eager to show off when she can. Her favorite way to show off is rolling around on the upstairs landing, hoping receive some quality back and head scratches. Ella recently had a seizure that resulted in a chipped top left canine tooth. Chipped teeth are a serious source of concern in cats, as they can lead to infections and be quite painful. Ella needs this tooth removed in order to help relieve some of this pain and prevent any future infections or complications. Ella will be visiting our local non-profit vet for her surgery. This chipped tooth comes at a time where we recently have gotten married and don't have much left-over money to manage a sudden and costly dental surgery for our cat. We want to provide the best care possible and would graciously accept any and all help.

Zeus
Zeus is a 4-year-old Pitbull in Riverview, FL, who needs $1,500 for Exams and Diagnosis.
RIVERVIEW, FL
I bought my puppy when he was 6 weeks old. I bottle-fed him and I have raised him and I am sure I am all he remembers. He lives with my boyfriend and me and he is such a lover. He thinks he is a lap dog but doesn't realize he is a 90-pound dog. He is sassy and has an attitude just like me. He learned that from me of course! Zeus lives with my boyfriend and me in our apartment. I know it's a small space but we make it a priority to take him and get his exercise. We make it a point to make sure he interacts with other animals. He is a daddys boy and he shows me that 24/7. Don't get me wrong he loves his mommy too! He is so good with everyone in the family. He gets so excited when he gets to see his grandparents! Zeus is so special because I suffer from depression and anxiety and he brings me such joy. Oh my goodness he snores like an old man. He also likes to sprawl out on the couch and tries to be a 90-pound lap dog. He also sometimes doesn't know when it's relaxing time so I have to tell him to lay down a thousand times and he spins in circles before he actually finds the position he wants to lay in. So it was a couple of days ago that I noticed he wouldn't eat and drink. His nose has been really dry. He went to the bathroom and his stool was brownish-red. Then the next day it was green and now it's just red. I haven't been to the vet yet because I don't have the money. I just need some assistance to save my best friend. Zeus is so special because I suffer from depression and anxiety and he brings me such joy. He is my ESA and I wouldn't know what to do if something happened to him. I almost lost him once before and I don't want to go through that again.

Darwin
Darwin is a 3-year-old Domestic Short Hair in Land O Lakes, FL, who needs $725 for PU Surgery.
Land O Lakes, FL
My baby came into my life three years ago, when one of my best friends found a pregnant stray in her backyard. I met Darwin the moment he was born, and he has been my baby ever since. I watched him grow with his momma until he was big enough for me to take him home. He lived in my bedroom for a couple weeks, in which we created the strongest bond I've ever felt with a pet. Darwin is by far the sweetest cat I've ever met in my life, which all of my family and friends can attest to. He has never bit or scratched a soul, even when he plays. He cuddles up on my chest every single night to fall asleep as he drools and makes biscuits. I've never seen a cat so sweet and full of love, even with complete strangers ❤️ Darwin is not the most typical cat, especially in his appearance! His huge, upward turned eyes and habit of revealing his second eyelids make him look permanently cross-eyed, which always makes me and my family laugh. He also has the most precious habit of flopping onto the ground head first, belly up whenever he wants attention ☺️ Not to mention, he LOVES belly rubs which I've never seen in a cat Back in 2020, Darwin faced his first urinary blockage. We had never experienced anything like it, and I've never been so scared of losing someone that I love. We rushed him to the Veterinary Emergency Group, and ended up paying thousands. This happened 2 more times, costing us more and more in medications and treatments. This time, he had to receive a very invasive surgery: a PU surgery. I've always paid for Darwin's treatments myself, even as a 20 year old college student. This time however, I had to spend the savings I was building up to finally move out:( I'm just hoping for a little bit of help so that I can still move out by August.

Stella
Stella is a NaN-year-old German shepherd and pit bull. in SEFFNER, FL, who needs $0 for Continued care and treatment for broken leg.
SEFFNER, FL
My name is Matt. I am a veteran and I worked in EMS as a EMT,the primary care giver on ambulance. Last year in July I ended up getting infected by the covid-19 virus. Was hospitalized for a while. I am still dealing with residual effects from the virus. Including scarring in my lungs. I have not been back to work. In March of this year Stella was gifted to me by a neighbor who know I wanted a dog Stella basically has come into my life during a very difficult time. I reached out for a hand and found a paw. Stella is 4 months old. And loves me extremely. As do I her. She's daddy's girl. It is just me and Stella. Stella can be a bit stubborn at times but is learning. She is picking up on when I am stressed. When I need my treatments. She wants to be next to me all the time. I am currently on work comp since July of last. Only receiving 784 a month to live on. This is very unexpected and difficult to handle. It will me the world to me to have her back good health. She is my world. The other day when me and Stella where playing around with one of her toys. She went to jump up unto chase lounge and slipped landing wrong this time. Yelping out in pain taking a while to calm her down. I found out today 5-29 after taking to vet that when she fell she fractured her left back leg. I have to take her back every Saturday to have rechecked. One big thing to me about Stella is the amount of love she gives me since day one. She will not just play with her toys ie ball, ring. But also old bottles, containers. And funny a lot of times when she is playing. Including getting her tail. She all the sudden started crawling under covers to sleep when we sleep at night.

Lilith
Lilith is a 7-year-old Domestic Short Hair in Saint Petersburg, FL, who needs $600 for Dental, Extractions, Biopsy, Mass Removal.
Saint Petersburg, FL
Lilith came to my home after I moved to Florida from up north. I was alone here in FL and was looking for a friend. I went to a rescue and was looking for a kitten, but I heard a crash and looked over to see Lilith on the ground... She had fallen off the kitchen counter and didn't land on her feet... Turns out she had been abused by her previous adopter... So of course I decided to adopt! Lilith is a very happy kitty. She enjoys toy mice, laps, soft beds, and wet food. Her best friend is her 65lbs doggy sibling and she would rather have a good nap in your lap than anything else. Well... Except eat. She LOVES to eat. She eats, on average, 4 cans of 5 oz of wet food a day. She's got a hearty appetite. Lilith is one of the most sweet cats you'll ever meet. I lost my job of 7 years due to COVID 6 months ago. I found another job but at 1/8 the income. My other cat recently had to be let go after suffering from CKD and despite IV fluids and an ultrasound his bloodwork got worse. Lilith was my first cat in FL. She's my life... On Wednesday 04/14/2021 Lilith started to drool. The next day there was a little blood in the drool. She was seen at the Harmony Vet Care Tampa on Saturday the 17th of April and diagnosed with grade 4/4 dental disease and in need of almost full mouth extractions and an oral mass removal/biopsy. During this time she has never stopped eating like a champ! Lilith is a very special cat. She was severely abused by her original adopter. She was kicked so hard in the head she developed a brain bleed and subsequent brain damage. Thus, she is a very special gal! She's very clumsy and quite the space cadet. She will get zoomies and throw toys around the house randomly. With no rhyme or reason and never at the same time!

Rocky
Rocky is a 1.5-year-old Siberian Husky in Tampa, FL, who needs $1,500 for Femoral Head Ostectomy.
Tampa, FL
Rocky was a gift from a friend who's dog had just given birth, and instead of dropping the litter off at a shelter, they presented me with the opportunity to take in Rocky to a great home. I took him in at 8 weeks, and he has been my best friend ever since. Two years later, here we are. Rocky always seemed to have a thing for pawing those he meets, and so what better name than a boxer's? Rocky loves to sleep on the hardwood floor, although in the morning he hops onto my bed to keep me company before I wake up. He loves to go to doggie beaches, parks, and even hiking in the Ocala forest. When Rocky wants something, he will paw you to pet him or howl at you to complain about the smallest things. He isn't much of a fetcher, but he sure loves treats and will do anything for one. I am a college student who lives with his parents, but still pays bills. Because of the current state of the world, I have no income, although I have been applying to part-time roles. We were quoted $1500 per side, and unfortunately, I have no income to afford this. Rocky was recently diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia of both sides by Harmony Vet Care. After taking some x-rays, Dr. Cole agreed to take Rocky in for an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy). This was considered the best option for Rocky's case, given his weight, size, and active lifestyle. Rocky is currently on pain management medication to ease his pain until the surgery is scheduled. Rocky is quite a fearless warrior. He isn't bothered by many things and is quite the stubborn boy. I like to think I'm his best friend since he loves to wake me up all excited, but he honestly makes everyone he meets their best friend and ensures that he gets his belly rubs. He would much rather be out in the rain than in the house but doesn't like grooming time very much.

LJ
LJ is a 6-year-old Domestic short hair tuxedo in Tampa, FL, who needs $70 for Office visit/exam.
Tampa, FL
I have had LJ since he was born, he was born to a female cat that we rescued after she was dumped in the mobile home park my son was living in. I took her home with me and she later gave birth to 5 kittens, only 2 survived LJ and his sister Gigi. He is 6 years old and i just need him to be well and enjoy the rest of his life. I Love Him! LJ is a very layed back and lax kitty, he gets along with other cats and our dog and people. He is an indoor cat and loves to eat! Although he has a crate, bed, and plenty of boxes he prefers to sleep where ever he wants in random places or on top of his crate. He also loves to go for walks outside. After an auto accident, I recently had knee replacement surgery and have problems with my back. I am currently awaiting disability While living with my middle son. On Saturday night july 4th 2020 LJ got choked on a piece of meat i was feeding him. After several failed attempts to dislodge the meat, I rushed him down the road to blue pearl, where they got the meat out and saved his life. He now needs rechecked to make sure hes still doing good. the 36 dollars is for office visit/exam. I would say i am LJs favorite person as i am his soul care giver. Hes definitely a talker although hos meow is very light. He definitely lets you know when its time to eat and prefers his wet food in the bathroom, door shut so none of the other cats can steal it. He is a total lover also enjoys having his head scratched

Mittens was found as a three month old kitten that had been abandoned in a trailer park along with her mother and brother. Both her mother and brother were able to be placed with a local rescue organization and have since found forever homes. But mittens has had constant respiratory and digestive health challenges in her short life. Recently it was a discovered that she has a herniated diaphragm. She labors just to breathe, her spleen is enlarged, and her intestines are in her thoracic cavity.
