Bo
Bo is a 6 year old Great Pyrenees in Oradell, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Overnight Care, IVs, Sedation, and Surgery.
Oradell, NJ
Bo is a 6 1/2 year-old. We live alone just him and I. I’m currently in college as well. I’m juggling between trying to pay for school and living while also working full time. Bo and I are in an apartment. He’s a fun, loving and energetic dog. We have a dog park at my apartment where he loves to get out and run around like a maniac. I don’t have much family around so it’s just him and I. Bo was straining and screeching trying to go to the bathroom. I rushed him to Oradell Animal Hospital which is the closest Vet ER near me. He has an enlarged prostate, and herniated gland in his rectum. He needs to get surgery and I can’t afford it right now on my own. Luckily he’s been fairly healthy up to this point but they are keeping him over night for two days which is really expensive. Bo is a fun, and loving dog. He is very hyper and he keeps me on my toes. It’s just him and I. Truthfully I adopted this dog when I was 17 because I hit rock bottom and he has completely changed my life. He keeps me going everyday. He’s a huge cuddler/couch potato. He will stand by me in the kitchen while I cook hoping scraps fly his way. He loves to chew his bone right in my ear before bed. I’m a 24 year old college student who lives alone and fully supports myself financially. I don’t have much family left. I’m currently in nursing school and I have a year left. My dog is the center of my life and without him I don’t know where I’d be.

Coco
Coco is a 13 year old American Shorthair in North Bergen, NJ, who needs $5,500 for Mass Removal with Possible TECA.
North Bergen, NJ
Coco has been with me since he was 4 weeks old after I wished for a black cat and found him through an acquaintance. He is an indoor cat who lives with me, my mom, and his younger brother Milo. Coco is sassy, loving, quiet, and expressive. He loves frozen yogurt licks, waits patiently for meals, and curls beside me every night. Coco’s medical issues began after his eardrum ruptured in November 2025. Over the past few months, his condition worsened into a severe ear infection, a confirmed rapidly growing ear mass, and a dislocated jaw. His doctors fear the mass may be cancerous, but say he is otherwise relatively healthy for his age and has more years ahead if treated. Coco is being treated at Oradell Animal Hospital. Coco has a quiet but powerful presence in our home. He is not loud or demanding, but his face says everything. He follows his little routines, waits patiently for care, and has a sweet way of making you stop and pay attention to him. He comforts me without trying, especially at night or during tough moments, and our home feels warmer and safer with him in it. As a teacher with significant student debt, I have steady work but not enough to cover Coco’s urgent surgery without taking on more debt. Support would help him get care sooner and mean everything to me. I just want him healthy, comfortable, and thriving again

Moka
Moka is a 8 month old American Shorthair in Guttenberg, NJ, who needs $25,000 for FIP Treatment.
Guttenberg, NJ
I was given Moka when she was a month old from a coworker. We live in an apartment where she runs, plays, and sleeps. She always has space to run, play, eat, and sleep whenever she feels like switching activities This is an emergency situation where she has FIP and it has gotten worse with sepsis and low blood sugar. Her blood pressure is also down and she's cold. Currently we are at VEG in Hoboken but will be moving her to a specialist for more intensive care and hopeful recovery. She likes going outside but only if she is being carried. Especially on the shoulder, like a parrot. She gets very fussy when she gets picked up or covered by blankets. Her favorite treats are Churu tubes and she can never get enough of them This all happened so suddenly after a recent financial issue which took most of our emergency funds. It would mean the world and so much more to me to see her running and meowing as she has before. Any sign that shes getting better and would be able to go back home is great

Alfredo
Alfredo is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in North Bergen, NJ, who needs $11,000 for MRI +/- CSF Tap.
North Bergen, NJ
It’s been two years since I lost my best friend, Roy, and I never imagined getting another dog. But I missed having a companion by my side. When I visited the rescue, Alfredo was the first one who caught my eye. I met other pups, but he chose me—hugging, kissing, and refusing to let go. Now he’s part of our family, happily exploring our front yard. They explained that Alfredo’s vestibular system is being affected, and because his age and breed make idiopathic vestibular syndrome unlikely, they need to run further tests. An MRI and possibly a CSF tap are required to understand what’s causing his symptoms and guide the right care. Alfredo has a way of winning hearts everywhere he goes. It started with me, then my family, my friends, and even our neighborhood. He’s a sweet, goofy soul who just wants to love and be loved. The rescue didn’t have any history on him—only that he’d been surrendered—but from the moment we met, he felt like he was meant to be ours. This was an unexpected financial hit, and I don’t have emergency savings or credit that could cover even a fraction of it. I’ve been trying to do everything right—I even have insurance for Alfredo—but it isn’t enough, and they’re pushing back on the coverage he needs.

Tego
Tego is a 2 Year Old Rottweiler in Saddle Brook, NJ, Who Needs $2,000 for IMHA Treatment: Steroids, Blood Transfusions.
Saddle Brook, NJ
Tego came to us at 6 weeks old to support my husband, a US Veteran. We got him from a certified breeder and have been inseparable since. Beyond helping my husband, he’s a loving companion, protector of our almost-2-year-old son, and a cherished part of our family. Our sweet 2-year-old Rottweiler, Tego, suddenly fell ill before Thanksgiving. He was rushed to the ER and has now been diagnosed with IMHA, a life-threatening disease where his body destroys its own red blood cells. He’s hospitalized, not eating, and is undergoing blood transfusions. We’re overwhelmed by the medical costs and truly appreciate any support as we fight for our boy. 🙏❤️ We welcomed Tego into our family at just 6 weeks old, a year into our marriage. He’s my husband’s service dog and a loving companion to our whole family, including our almost-2-year-old son. He’s gentle, friendly, playful, and the sweetest mush who loves everyone he meets. We’re facing an overwhelming financial hardship as we fight to save Tego. His sudden decline and need for urgent treatment & blood transfusions have left us having to choose between saving his life or drowning in debt, as Oradell offers no charity care, payment plans, or sup

Jimmy John
Jimmy John is a 6 Year Old Holland Lop in Jersey City, NJ, Who Needs $5,000 for Amputation.
Jersey City, NJ
I was gifted my little bundle of joy almost 6 years ago as a Christmas gift. I begged and cried for a rabbit for as long as i could remember and i was finally given one by my aunt and uncle in 2020. He’s the best thing that’s happened to me and I'm forever grateful for him. During our recent move to a new home, he jumped out of my arms onto the street. We took him to Oradell Animal Hospital and found out he fractured his femur bone badly to the point where our only option is to amputate his leg which will cost $2k-$5k or euthanize him. Jimmy John loved being cuddled up with my stuffed sloth, it’s the cutest thing. He would even groom it. He loves interacting with toddlers, which took me by surprise at first since he’s somewhat shy. Yet just like any other pet, with some treats to bribe him he’d be friendly with anyone! I am a 17 year old who's currently applying to colleges and i definitely do not have the kind of money to afford a $2,000 vet bill.My parents recently had a baby on top of the fact we just moved into a more expensive home.So the burden of this surgery bill falls to me alone.

Blondie
Blondie is a 11 year old Shih Tzu in Union city , NJ, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion.
Union city, NJ
My blondie is a Shihtzu, she is the most loving dog ever! I have had blondie since she was 3 months old and she is my everything.Blondie enjoyed her chicken and she doesn’t play about food! She is the sweetest calmest dog. Blondie is doing good from her gallbladder surgery but she is having now pancreatitis and her palette levels are elevated to 1,000. She is at risk to leak and she needs blood transfusion but the bull is already at 20,000 we can not afford anymore. She is doing so good but her life Is at risk because of that’s going on with her swollen pancreas. She has been hospitalized at Oradell hospital. My pet is special because she’s not a pet, she is a daughter to me and not a lot of people will get in a debt to save their dog from a 20,000 bill but I did and I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and am going through postpartum. This has been extremely stressful to me and my family. I am in maternity leave and I still haven’t gotten my benefits. I am using all my emergency funds completely all to save my dogs life even though I just had a baby and benefits have not kicked in yet.

Enzo
Enzo is a 7 year old Pomeranian in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, who needs $2,000 for GI Surgery.

He's shown behavioral progress and his gentleness outside of his severe condition. A sweet quiet boy, his eyes says it all we all love him so dearly. I live by faith that I'll get by daily with my 3 children. Enzo won't take up much as small as he is outside of his current emergency situation.

Rocky
Rocky is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Weehawken, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Aspiration Pnemonia due to Myasthenia Gravis.
Weehawken, NJ
I got my dog Rocky Last February. We live in Hoboken New Jersey. He has always been the most perfect dog. He loves long walks along the river, loves his toys and is the happiest boy. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago Rocky started getting sick with a cough and regurgitation. We were told by 2 vets it was probably kennel cough. However, it got worse and worse and we ended up taking him to Oradell Animal Hospital. Turns out it was Aspiration Pneumonia caused by a condition called Myasthenia Gravis. Rocky has been at the hospital for the last 9 nights or so on oxygen, feeding tubes This dog is my everything. He is the most playful pup and so happy. He is so young and I love him more than anything. Everyone who sees him stops to tell me he is the cutest happiest dog they’ve ever seen. The medical bills for overnight stay are adding up so fast and I just can’t afford it. I want to keep him there to get better, but unfortunately I’m at my financial limit. I know he’s getting better, but each day is just too expensive

Lucifina
Lucifina is a 1 year old French Bulldog in Airmont, NY, who needs $2,000 for MRI.
Airmont, NY
hello, my name is Nicholette and I have a French bulldog named Lucifina. she lives with me, my boyfriend and my 11-year-old daughter. She was a gift from my boyfriend to me for my birthday almost 2 years ago. We’ve had her since she was a little baby she is my everything. When my mom recently passed away she was there for me always giving kisses and hugs. Lucifina has had seizures since she was only eight weeks old. She’s been on medication. She went a good six month seizure free and then began having them monthly again. She’s been on Zonisimide since we’ve had her, but she still has reoccurring seizures, and the vet wants to do an MRI to try and find the cause of her seizures. She currently goes to Airmont Animal Hospital and a neurologist. Luci was there for me at such a tough time in my life our special bond we share comes from her being there for me when I needed it most. She has an amazing ability to sense my emotions, offering companionship, love, and support when I was grieving or feeling vulnerable. Her presence l provided a sense of stability and unconditional love, making her truly special to me. I am currently struggling to make ends me being. I have an 11 year-old daughter and I am a single mom. Yes, my boyfriend helps but the expense of healing my poor baby is hitting us at a rough time. With help having my puppy healthy and seizure free would me the world to me.

Buckley
Buckley is a 4 year old Bichon Frisé in Rahway, NJ, who needs $2,000 for IVDD Treatment Plan.
Rahway, NJ
Buckley came into our lives when we were ready to give him the best life possible. We were ready to give him so much love and he really completed us. On February 6th we woke up and made our way down the stairs. As we got half way down Buckley let out a cry. I called him up on the couch to check his paw as I thought he had hurt it. He was shivering and I figured he had hurt his paw. I had made an appointment for February 8th with the vet to make sure he’d be ok. By February 7th he lost mobility and feeling in his hind legs. Buckley is as sweet and playful as Bichons get. He has always loved children and those who love him. He’s really the goodest boy. He loves to run free (without a leash) and just gets the zoomies as happy as can be. But now he has been paralyzed overnight. We have always been able to provide for Buckley and our other fur baby and their litter. Even in emergency situations. But this caught us so off guard and we’ve already gone through the bit of savings we did have just trying to get answers and buying equipment to help him.

They put him on antibiotics and wanted to keep him but I had the option to take him home and see his primary vet. We did repeat bloodwork, normal Smokey is a certified therapy pet and brings joy to those he visits. He is super friendly and very loving. Smokey brings a smile to everyone's face that he meets. Chip
Chip is a 2 year old Persian in Clifton, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Heart Echo Sonogram, Abdominal Sonogram, and Blood Work.
Clifton, NJ
Chip came to our life’s over two years ago. He has been a happy and healthy cat, until last week when he started to act differently, quite isolating himself. After we saw that he vomit couple of times and stop eating we took him to his vet right away. Our veterinarian ran a blood test and X-rays. She discovered a 5 out of 6 heart murmur that had never been detected during his routine check-ups. Besides the heart murmur, all other test came back ok. But Chip was getting worse and our vet sent us to the emergency room at Oradell Hospital. The doctors need to run more tests and they came back okay. Now, they need to do a deeper test and he needs an echocardiogram for his heart, a sonogram for his abdominal area, and he needs to be admitted to the hospital for at least 3 days. Chip has a little brother, his name is Guaca. He is a Persian, and he is deaf. Chip is an amazing older brother he takes care of Guaca they play a lot. We also have Athena, who is 11 years old. She is a Dachshund and they get along well. They also play a lot together. Both Guaca and Athena are worried and keep checking on him because he is very sick. My husband and I lost our jobs recently. Fortunately, my husband will be starting a new job next week. I have a couple of interviews coming up and hopefully I will find something soon. Chip is family, he is a part of our beautiful family and it means everything to us.

Natalia
Natalia is a 14-year-old Mini Pinsher in North Arlington , NJ, who needs $2,000 for Hysterecomy.
North Arlington, NJ
I received Natalia from my ex. Her new apartment did not allow pets. This was approximately 10 years ago. She has a great life even though she lives with congestive heart failure. Now she is suffering with a life threatening uterus infection that requires an expensive surgery to keep her alive. Survival with antibiotics alone is short. Natalia loves to sleep. She is also a great watch dog. Her large ears constantly scan for the mailman and amazon deliveries. She has a a vicious bark for a 5 pound dog. Natalia is a great communicator. She on an am and pm schedule for her medication. She will wake me up in the morning for her heart meds. PM she will do a little dance for her meds. She is currently being treated by the Oradell animal hospital in Paramus New Jersey. She is in desperate need for a hysterecomy because of her medical condition. The surgery is about $5000 to $6000. Her uterus infection is life threatening giving her a few days to live. The surgery will save her life. The cost of hospalization for her congestive heart failure and medication and numerous vet visits have exhausted us financially. Need financial assistance for the hysterecomy.

Penny
Penny is a 2-year-old Pitbull in Oakland, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Wound Treatment, Xrays, Pain Management.
Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
A witness saw a car roll up, stop and leave a bleeding Penny on the side of the road in critical condition in Paterson, off route 80. This Good Samaritan contacted Animal Control, and together with our partners at Jersey Pits rescue, we rushed Penny to the hospital. Overall, Penny is doing amazingly with her foster family. She is happy and affectionate, and has met the entire family. She adores the baby in the home, always sniffing and checking on her. Penny is a dog that people need to go slow with, as she is nervous at first, but Penny wants to love and trust – and, with a gentle introduction, she quickly warms up. Sometimes, wounds on the inside take a bit more time to heal. Penny is slowly opening up her heart after suffering so much fear and cruelty in her life. It’s mind blowing to us – even after digesting Penny’s injuries and recovery – that such horrendous cruelty exists practically in our own backyards. After being dumped on the side of route 80, with a wound from a gunshot or intentional impalement, we hospitalized Penny for emergency treatment. She is healing and expected to make a full recovery. Though, Penny’s trust has been shaken, it’s remarkable her willingness to open back up to people with just the slightest bit of patience and love. We don’t know what Penny’s life was like before she was rescued off the side of the highway after a brutal assault, but we know with absolute certainty that her life is filled with so much promise and hope today, because of YOU!

Tony
Tony is a 2-year-old Pitbull in Oakland, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Wound Closure, Neuter, Drain Inserted.
Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
Animal Control officers were horrified to discover Tony tied to the fence upon arrival at the shelter, a deep gash covering his back. We don’t know how long Tony waited for rescue to come or what caused his injury, but we knew we had to act quickly. Thankfully, Tony only lives in the moment, and today Tony is feeling comfortable and loved, recovering in his cushy bed, enjoying his pain meds and his lunch! Tony was badly wounded, yet patiently hung on for help to come, giving his rescuers kisses, as he uncomfortably attempted to clean his open wound. Tony is a true inspiration, his resilience and forgiveness likely undeserved, but an incredible motivation for our work. Tony’s surgery was a success! His open would was closed, and a drain was inserted to assist with healing. He also was neutered. His injury appeared to be a clean slice down to the muscle, so it is still a mystery how this adorable boy ended up tied to the fence at animal control, gravely wounded. We immediately said YES to helping Tony, but we need your help to help to fund so many emergency medical cases. We are restricted as to the number of animals we can intake at any given time depending on the resources we are gifted

Trey
Trey is a 1-year-old DSH Cat in Oakland, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Orthopedic Surgery for Pelvis and Femur Fracture.
Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
Trey was found lying on the ground, unable to move – freezing with multiple fractures. Trey was found by a Good Samaritan. We don’t know how long he was lying helpless in frigid temperatures, unable to stand. It is truly a miracle that Trey was found before he froze to death. He was grateful for help, immediately purring in response to seeing people. His faith in humans had not been broken. Xrays and ultrasound showed a fractured pelvis and femur. Trey’s injuries are from severe trauma, though he was not found near a road. Because of the dual fractures, Trey was unable to stand or go to the bathroom on his own. Trey is now in our care at Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge. We rushed him to the hospital in an effort to save his leg through orthopedic surgery. His leg was plated and pinned, and he is recovering well. His medical team keep reiterating how adorable and affectionate Trey is, so deserving of this second chance at life. Trey’s prognosis remains positive, he is bright, alert and eating well. Your donation will help us save Trey. Every dollar helps. Thank you so much for your support!

Starving and unsure of where to go next, the sweet, hungry boy approached someone for help. Instead, that person kicked Bjorn in the face, breaking his jaw and dislocating his jaw's joint. When Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI) heard about Bjorn, they swooped in to save him. Now, he's hospitalized and requires surgery to remove a few teeth so he can eat comfortably. "His jaw will never lay normally, and he will always drool a little bit, but we think Bjorn's crooked jaw makes him adorable," Amy H., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "It shows what a brave boy he has been!" Despite the trauma inflicted on Bjorn, he remains a sweet, trusting soul. But the rescue needs to raise the money for his medical bills. "You can embrace Bjorn with your gift to show him that there is so much more kindness in this world than he has experienced," Amy says. Help the rescue provide this emergency care to Bjorn so the group can continue to fight animal cruelty and save animals left broken on the streets.

Leela
Leela is a 2-month-old DSH Kitten in Oakland, NJ, who needs $1,000 for Eye Rupture.
Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
Leela sought out help after suffering horrible trauma… Alone, outside in the cold and just 3 pounds, Leela suffered a traumatic head injury, leaving her with a ruptured eye and wounds all over her jaw and head. Too shy to come close, but desperate for help, Leela approached a kind family who offered her food and tried to coax her in. They reached out for rescue help, and together, we were able to trap this critically ill, helpless kitten. Leela’s rescue was a wonderful whirlwind. Two rescues, RBARI and A Pathway to Hope, came together and within hours, Leela was trapped, rushed to the vet and had emergency surgery to remove her infected, ruptured eye before infection could take over her tiny body. Her wounds were treated and stitched. The ongoing concern for Leela is infection, as the wound was deep and covered much of her face. She is slowly recovering and learning to truly trust those humans that she took a chance on, knowing it was her only hope to live. Leela needs your help! Please donate towards her veterinary care today.

Tre
Tre is a 2-year-old DSH Cat in Oakland, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Leg Amputation.
Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
Tre lost his leg after being stuck in a metal leg hold trap for days. Please help us, at Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge save our defenseless community cats! Tre was horrifically found with his leg stuck in a metal leg hold trap. He had been stuck in place, attempting to pull his leg loose, for long enough that the flesh in the area is necrotic and his bones are exposed through large, gaping holes in his skin. Because the injury to Tre’s leg is so severe, there is no choice but to amputate his leg. Leg hold traps, illegal in the state of New Jersey, are made of a metal foot plate and curved jaws powered by strong springs and anchored to the ground. Once an animal triggers the trap, it immobilizes them with the spikes of the jaws and can cause severe damage, particularly as the animal struggles. Given the level of damage and necrotic tissue on Tre’s leg, he was helplessly trapped for a long period of time before being discovered. Please consider a donation so that we can continue to save vulnerable community cats, like Tre. RBARI’s Community Cats program reaches into our community to provide emergency medical care, spay / neuter and rescue relief to local cats in desperate need.

Someone discovered the young kitten outside with deep, painful, maggot-infested wounds on his backside. The Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge raced him to an animal hospital. "The wounds are deep, and Jupiter is in pain," Amy H., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. Jupiter was rushed into emergency surgery to clean his wounds and remove the larvae. Then, his blood pressure plunged, leaving him severely anemic and unstable. Jupiter needs a blood transfusion to undergo another surgery to amputate his necrotic, degloved tail safely. The tiny kitten racked up a huge hospital bill, and the rescue group hopes animal lovers will help rescue them by giving to Jupiter's campaign. "Jupiter's medical team has fallen in love with his adorable nature," Amy says. "He loves to eat and is doing well despite his discomfort. Jupiter is a tiny baby with an incredible will to live! Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge is in desperate need of your support. Your donation today can make all the difference in his fight for survival."

Presley
Presley is a 4-month-old Domestic Shorthair kitten in Oakland, NJ, who needs $1,300 for urgent surgery.
Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
Presley narrowly defied the odds after being attacked. She was found lying on the street motionless and could only lift her head. That's when Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge heard about the kitten. The nonprofit group rushed her to an animal hospital. She was dehydrated with traumatic injuries to her back end – including a severely fractured femur, puncture wounds, a large abscess from her thigh to her tail, a painful abdomen, a fractured pelvis, and impacted stool. "Presley's tiny body was failing at just four months old – the priority was stabilizing her. Her blood pressure was plummeting," Amy H., with the rescue group, tells Waggle. Veterinarians feared she was in the early stages of sepsis. After a blood transfusion and medication, Presley finally stabilized. "We breathed a sigh of relief and hope," Amy says. But now Presley needs your help to survive. Presley needs two separate surgeries. One to repair her wounds and add drains before the infection worsens. The second operation will address her fractured leg, which is shattered without hope of repair and must be amputated. Presley has a long road ahead, but today, she has something she has never had: YOU – a kind, dedicated community of supporters. Please consider donating to help with Presley's upcoming surgeries in honor of this tiny warrior!

His fur is matted and tangled, with feces and urine stuck to him. His painful, infected ears have caused him to develop a head tilt," Amy H., with the rescue group, tells Waggle. The rescue says they're taking over Joseph's emergency care after the animal hospital convinced Joseph's family to surrender him. Now, the nonprofit needs your help to pay for his desperately needed medical treatments. "Joseph's condition is devastating," Amy says. "This poor dog deserves so much better. Thanks to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, there is hope for Joseph." Please give to help Joseph get the love and life he deserves!

Violet just celebrated her first birthday along with her sister, Lucy. We found her one year ago in our yard along with her four other siblings. Our outdoor cat and our neighbor's outdoor cat decided to get together and bring us this bundle of joy (they've since been spayed/neutered). Because of our intense love for our outdoor cats, I knew these little guys needed to be saved. After sending them to the shelter for proper care and immunizations, I adopted Violet and her sister, Lucy (both named after Peanuts characters). They are best friends and, although have their moments of sibling rivalry (like fighting over the empty Amazon box) can't stand to be apart. They are lost without each other. Violet is an energetic playful kitty. She was the smallest of her litter but what she doesn't have in size, she makes up for in spirit. She loves food and is not bashful to meow until she gets her chow. She'll stand on her hind legs with her front paws on my thigh as I'm getting it ready. She loves company and she touches everyone with her charismatic personality. Last week, Violet was diagnosed with meningitis and an abscess on her brain stem. The abscess is too close to the brain to drain. She will need antibiotics and steroids for quite some time and may need surgery to remove the abscess. Although not uncommon in cats, it is uncommon in a cat her age. I wanted to give her the opportunity to thrive, as she has her whole life ahead of her. I thought I had time to purchase pet insurance. I never in a million years thought something like this would happen so soon. I was not prepared yet thankful I am the one who adopted her. It's heartbreaking to think someone else may not have given her a chance of survival.

On Wednesday March 17th 2021 I was browsing sites for a Hyperallergenic puppy. Something I've been doing for the past 3 years. I came across a puppy born Jan 11 2021. I kept going back to that puppy and reached out to the seller. She told me she would bring the puppy to me. At first sight I had to have her. She was so friendly and melted my heart; it was LOVE! Sasha walked in the door for the first time and was beyond comfortable. I couldn't believe in one evening she adjusted herself right into my family. In 2 days this 2 month puppy became potty trained. By the 3rd day my fiance and bonus daughter knew me and Sasha became attached. They would play with her to give me time to do things around the house because she would follow me all around.. I don't have the money for the long run she may have. I am afraid to let her down and try On Sat. day 4 she would not eat anything. My fiance said she must be teething. She would put everything in her mouth but her food. She began to throw up and she started looking sluggish. She was so weak I rushed her to the Oradell Animal Hospital. She was admitted for low sugar and test ran on her. She came home Sunday and had to be rushed back Monday night due to her sugar level being at 25. Sasha is a toy poodle with the heart of an adult human with compassion. She loves kisses and attention. She would follow me from room to room and always get into something she has know business getting into. In 3 days I truly lost my mind for her. She has turned so many heads and I with her beauty and personality. I call her the lady know it all. She's so easy to train.
