Help Purps Learn That She Is Safe Again

Coconut Creek, FL • Pumpkin’s Rescue Club

Purps spent her entire life with the same family after being adopted as a kitten. She should have known nothing but love and security. Instead, in her senior years, the people she trusted turned their backs on her. Purps was put outside by her grandparents, but her grandchildren kept bringing her back inside—because they knew she belonged there. When the family decided they wanted her gone, things became even more heartbreaking. Purps was hit and kicked by the very people who were supposed to protect her. Thankfully, Pumpkin's Rescue Club stepped in and gave Purps the chance she desperately needed. Now, this sweet senior girl is settling into a foster home where she can finally begin to feel safe. She is learning that not every hand will hurt her and that she doesn't have to be afraid anymore. After everything she has endured, Purps deserves the opportunity to simply be a cat again. On Monday, Purps will visit the veterinarian for a comprehensive exam, senior bloodwork, and a SNAP test. She will also receive a microchip so she can have permanent identification and protection moving forward. We don't yet know everything Purps has been through or what her medical needs may be, but we know she deserves to enter this next chapter with the care she should have received all along. Will you help Purps take her first steps toward healing? 💜 Your donation will help Pumpkin's Rescue Club provide Purps with the veterinary care she needs as she begins rebuilding her trust in people. Every gift, no matter the size, helps show this deserving senior cat that her life matters—and that she is finally safe.

Creamsicle

Creamsicle was rescued from a tree and needs lots of medical attention. Will you help?

Oakland, NJ • Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge

Creamsicle was found stuck high in a tree in Paterson, terrified, injured, and unable to get down. Her rescue from the treetops brought RBARI one more tiny medically needy kitten during this relentless kitten season. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Paterson Fire Department and Paterson Animal Control, Creamsicle was safely rescued. RBARI took over her medical care and rehabilitation upon rescue, as it quickly became clear she had been through an ordeal before climbing the tree. Creamsicle has an ulcer on one eye, an upper respiratory infection, and painful burns on her paw pads. Her feet were raw and it was painful to walk. They don’t yet know what caused the burns, but exposure to extreme heat or a chemical is suspected. Creamsicle is on crate rest as she is treated for her eye and respiratory infections and the painful burns on her feet. This sweet, gentle kitten has been wonderful for her baths, medication, and wound care. Creamsicle arrived at one of the hardest points of kitten season. Their foster homes are full. Their cages are full. Supplies are disappearing faster than they can replace them, medical expenses continue to climb, and their volunteers and fosters are exhausted—yet kittens like Creamsicle continue to need these caretakers every day. RBARI wants and needs to keep saying yes. And with you by their sides, they can. If you can donate even the smallest amount, it would make the biggest difference. Thank you.

Mini Donut’s Life Was Spared, But He Still Needs Vet Care

NY, NY • NY Cat Warriors

Just hours ago, tiny Mini Donut was at the Animal Care Center and at risk of being euthanized. With very little time to act and without yet knowing the full extent of his medical needs, NY Cat Warriors moved quickly to pull him and give him a chance. Mini Donut is incredibly small and looks like he has had a rough start. He may need intensive medical care, and right now, the priority is keeping him safe, nourished, and closely monitored while his veterinary team determines exactly what he needs. One of NY Cat Warriors’ experienced fosters immediately rearranged things at home to make room for Mini Donut and provide the hands on care such a vulnerable kitten needs. And this little guy is already showing everyone just how sweet he is. Mini Donut is being bottle fed by his foster and seems to have a healthy appreciation for mealtime. He has also discovered one of his favorite things: chin rubs. After everything he has just been through, it’s wonderful to see him safe, eating, and soaking up affection. Getting Mini Donut safely out of the shelter was only the beginning. NY Cat Warriors now needs help covering his veterinary care as they work to understand his condition and determine what treatment he may need. When a tiny life is on the line, there isn't always time to have all the answers before stepping in. Sometimes rescue means saying yes first and figuring out the rest once they're safe. Just hours ago, Mini Donut's future was uncertain. Now he's safe, being bottle fed, enjoying chin rubs, and surrounded by people determined to give him every opportunity to get stronger. Please consider donating to Mini Donut's Waggle fundraiser and help NY Cat Warriors give this tiny kitten the veterinary care and second chance he deserves.

Help Pumpkin’s Rescue Club Stock Life-Saving Tests

Coconut Creek, FL • Pumpkin’s Rescue Club

Every new cat that comes into Pumpkin’s Rescue Club deserves a safe place to land—and that starts with knowing what they may be carrying. Pumpkin’s Rescue Club regularly takes in cats from the streets and other situations where their medical histories are unknown. Before these cats can safely join the rescue’s population, they need to be tested for serious and potentially contagious diseases, including panleukopenia and FeLV/FIV. Right now, panleukopenia is rampant in our area, making rapid testing more important than ever. Cats showing symptoms need to be tested immediately so that any positive cats can be identified and isolated before the illness has a chance to spread to other vulnerable cats. We’re raising funds to purchase: 🐾 30 panleukopenia tests 🐾 30 FIV/FeLV tests These tests are an essential part of the rescue’s intake and veterinary process. Having them readily available means the rescue doesn’t have to wait when a sick or newly rescued cat needs answers. Quick testing can help the rescue make important decisions about isolation, treatment, and protecting the other cats in its care. For a small rescue caring for cats who often arrive frightened, sick, and in need of immediate help, having these supplies on hand can make a tremendous difference. Will you help Pumpkin’s Rescue Club stock its medical supply cabinet with these 60 critical tests? Every donation helps the rescue be prepared for the next cat who needs a safe place to land—and helps protect the cats already counting on them.

A Tiny CH Baby Alone With No One to Protect Him — Starving & Struggling Just to Stay Alive

West Palm Beach, FL • Wild Whiskers, Inc.

When CH Baby Francis appeared at a food truck, there was no mama cat beside him. No one was protecting him or making sure he had enough to eat. And because Francis has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), he was already facing challenges that would have made life on the streets even more dangerous. CH affects coordination and balance, leaving Francis wobbly and unsteady on his feet. For a tiny kitten navigating cars, predators, and the countless dangers of life outdoors, surviving on his own was almost unimaginable.Thankfully, someone noticed Francis and reached out for help. When he entered rescue Wild Whiskers Inc., his CH was obvious—but his caregivers quickly realized something else was wrong. Francis appeared increasingly neurological and began declining. Eventually, he stopped getting out of bed. Bloodwork revealed just how serious things had become: his sodium was off the charts. His rescue team knew they couldn't give up on this tiny baby. With help from his veterinary team, Francis began an intensive treatment plan that includes twice-daily subcutaneous fluids and oral medications at home. His bloodwork has started improving—and even more encouragingly, Francis started playing again. For the first time, this little fighter began acting like the kitten he was always meant to be. Francis also receives weekly ozone treatments as part of his ongoing supportive care, and his rescue has already spent significantly on diagnostics, bloodwork, treatments, and other veterinary expenses. But Francis's medical journey isn't over. He will remain in a long-term medical foster home until his veterinarians determine that he is healthy and stable enough to be considered for adoption. Until then, his rescue must continue covering his ongoing medical care. Francis may be wobbly. He may need extra help. But he is happy, he is playing, and he is living a life worth fighting for. His rescue said yes to Francis when he had nowhere else to go. Now, they need help keeping that promise. 💙 Please donate today to help cover Francis's ongoing veterinary care. Every contribution helps provide the fluids, medications, diagnostics, monitoring, and supportive care this special little kitten needs. And if you can't donate, please share Francis's story. One share could put his fundraiser in front of someone who can help. Francis didn't get the easiest start in life. But he finally has people fighting for him—and with your help, we can make sure this brave little kitten gets every chance to keep growing, playing, and enjoying the life he fought so hard to find.

Help Leon Tigs III Keep His Cancer in Remission

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

At 13 years old, Leon Tigs III has already given his mom 13 years of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Now, this beloved senior cat is fighting for more time. Leon was diagnosed with advanced-stage multiple myeloma, a rare form of cancer, in December 2025. At the time, he was deteriorating rapidly, suffering from severe anemia, extreme weakness, and difficulty breathing. His condition was frightening, and his family wasn't sure how much time they had left with their beloved boy. But Leon wasn't ready to give up. Thanks to dedicated veterinary and oncology care, Leon has now been in clinical remission for six months. His family is determined to do everything possible to keep him there. Leon’s treatment plan includes daily Prednisolone, a chemotherapy pill called Cytoxan every few weeks, regular bloodwork, and ongoing appointments with his veterinary oncologist. Depending on the frequency and care required, his oncology expenses can range from approximately $214 to $619 every 6–8 weeks. His mom is now trying to raise $2,000 to help cover Leon's cancer treatment through the remainder of 2026. For Leon's mom, this isn't simply about saving a beloved pet. Leon has been her constant companion for 13 years and has helped her through her own difficult medical journey. She describes him as her emotional support, her little comedian, and a source of comfort through some of the hardest moments of her life. She has already charged approximately $8,000 in veterinary expenses to make sure Leon could receive the care he needed. Now, she is asking for help so she can continue his treatment without taking on even more debt. Leon has already fought his way into remission. Please help his family give him the chance to stay there. Every dollar brings this beloved boy one step closer to more precious time with the person who has loved him since the day she brought him home If you can't donate, sharing Leon's fundraiser can be just as valuable and may help connect his family with someone who can. Paws 4 A Cure is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing financial assistance for urgent veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout the United States.
