Vida
Vida has suffered unimaginable neglect. Please be her hero.
St Petersburg, FL • Compassion Kind Foundation
When Vida was found, she was barely hanging on. She was severely emaciated, covered in ticks, dangerously anemic, and suffering from unimaginable injuries. Half of her ear and part of her neck were missing, and maggots have infested multiple wounds throughout her body. No animal should ever have to endure this kind of pain and neglect. Thanks to Compassion Kind, Vida is receiving emergency veterinary care, where doctors are working to treat her wounds, stabilize her condition, and give her the chance to heal. The road ahead will be long, and her medical care will be extensive, but this rescue refuses to give up on her. Vida deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and free from pain. We're asking for your help to cover the cost of her emergency treatment, medications, and ongoing care. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help give Vida the second chance she so desperately deserves. Together, we can show Vida that her life matters.

Chester
Chester is a 4 year old American Longhair in Reddick, FL, who needs $5,000 for PU Surgery.
Reddick, FL
Chester came into my life because my partners cousin couldn’t care for him and we decided to take him in he was only 4 months old and he was getting bullied by her cousin other kittens she had. As an outcast all we want is love and someone to care just for us. Chester has been with me for 4 years of his life and he has been my reason to breathe everyday. Chester is currently going through a urinary blockage. He needs a catheter put in to him continuously urinate and not obstruct again and he needs x-rays to check the placement and help the doctors determine what else to do. He really needs the help he’s struggling and it really can’t go any longer My Chester is our baby and is known by everyone I know and he loves love he’s the most precious thing to everyone he meets and he really enjoys pets and rolling over for people he likes Honestly it’d mean everything to me to have my Chester back in 100% health and peeing safely. He truly is the reason I wake up everyday and keep going he’s the one that keeps me from staying out late or going out because honestly I rather be home with my cat.

Pinky
Pinky is a 14 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $10,000 for MRI and Radiation for Brain Tumor.
Jacksonville, FL
I adopted Pinky 7 years ago from a rescue in NYC. They estimated he was 5-8years old at the time. He was rescued from a severe hoarding/puppy mill case in Georgia where he had lived his life in a cage. He was used for breeding and was found in horrible conditions along with 700 other dogs. He came with a lot of trauma, a paralyzed ear, missing teeth and fear of humans. February 2025 Pinky experienced a cluster grand-mal seizure and was taken to the ER. I followed up with UF veterinary hospital for an MRI, where he was diagnosed with a brain tumor on his frontal lobe. In March 2025, I had the brain tumor removed. He was able to stop seizure meds in September. May 2026 Pinky’s seizures started again. He needs a new MRI and potentially surgery or radiation. Pinky is my one woman man, the most loyal dog out of my 4 dogs. He has shown so much growth and resilience overcoming his fear of humans. He has learned what it is to be loved and have confidence. His brothers are a basset hound, pitbull and pitbull-chow mix. Ge has so mu ch more life left to live, it is hard to see a brain tumor cut this short. I am a social worker, I work 3 jobs to make ends meet with my 4 rescue dogs. Unfortunately I do not have pet insurance for Pinky and his MRI and brain surgery cost me $7000 last year. I do not have the $2000 to get a new MRI or potentially $5-8000 for radiation.

Phyllo
Phyllo is a 15 year old American Shorthair in Atlanta, GA, who needs $10,000 for Partial Mandibulectomy.
Atlanta, GA
Phyllo is a true miracle who beat aggressive oral cancer two years ago. Today, he lives a deeply loved life in Atlanta, spending his days in my home office. He loves to sit outside in his cat tent to watch the world go by and curls up on his window perch near my desk while I work. At night, he hops into bed and burrows under the covers to sleep right against me. Following an infection, Phyllo’s gums receded, leaving a large portion of his jawbone completely exposed. Every time he tries to eat, it cuts his mouth and causes acute pain. He needs an urgent partial mandibulectomy to remove the non-functional bone so he can survive long-term. We are seeking this lifesaving care at UF Gainesville, the incredible hospital where his original surgery was done. Phyllo is an absolute fighter. He lays on top of my chest while we watch scary movies and purrs constantly. Even when I have had doubts because I only want what is best for his quality of life, Phyllo uses his high energy, happy attitude, and pure resilience to show me he is not ready to stop fighting. His spirit is completely unbroken, and he acts like a normal, incredibly joyful cat. After self-funding years of intensive cancer care, my savings are entirely exhausted. This final surgery is out of reach. Helping Phyllo means honoring his brave, unyielding desire to fight on, giving this beautiful survivor the pain-free life he deserves.

Jethro
Jethro is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Stuart, FL, who needs $10,000 for Surgery and Radiation.
Stuart, FL
In October of 2015, we adopted Jethro, the puppy love of our life! We knew as soon as we met him in person — he was running all around, jumping in and out of our laps, licking us, completely out of his mind, but most of all full of life, that he was coming home with us. Jethro is now a pup of divorce however he is deeply loved by both of his parents and loves his time in both of his homes. Jethro is fighting cancer for the 3rd time. He was first dx in 2019 with Hemangiosarcoma. (HSA) Given 6-8 mo. to live. We removed his leg. He beat the odds! He was dx in 2023 with Renal Carcinoma. We removed his kidney. Beat the odds! Jethro is fighting HSA again and has several tumors. Most are responding to treatment. One tumor has doubled in size! Oncology team at University of Florida/ Jethro does not know he has cancer. He is just living his happy puppy life! He lives for chilling on the patio, walks, sniffing, happy puppy rolls, barking at bunnies, squirrels, geckos, birds etc. Taking our bedding apart to make it more comfy for him! As we always say "This is Jethro's world and we just live in it!" and we want to live in his world for as many years to come! Jethro has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy, 2 major surgeries, 1 cryosurgery, countless CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, bloodwork, specialist visits. With pet insurance the out of pocket expenses over 7 years has caught up. He needs surgery to remove the large tumor.

Kimbo
Kimbo is a 5 year old Old English Bulldog in JACKSONVILLE, FL, who needs $21,000 for Cystotomy and Scrotal Urethrostomy.
JACKSONVILLE, FL
What a wild rollercoaster the last 3 days have been. My lil buddy wasn't feeling well on Christmas Eve so we took him in to see the vet. It was decided that he would need surgery to have bladder stones removed. Friday morning he went in for surgery. After a long stressful day of waiting we were able to go pick him up and get him home. Within a few hours we noticed that things didn't seem right. We rushed him to the nearest emergency vet in the middle of the night. The staff there was great. They quickly identified the few possibilities that the problem could be. They determined that the care he would need may be beyond their capabilities and recommended that we take him to Gainesville if we wanted the best chance at saving him. Without hesitation we hauled ass to the University Of Florida's School of Vetenarian. They hopped into action quickly and immediately went to work to identify the problem. Here we are 2 sleepless days later. A few hard battles later. Multiple trips back and forth from Jax to Gainesville later. An unimaginable bill later and he's still fighting. My lil guy is fighting so hard. He's won a couple battles and he's also had a few set backs. We remain hopeful he's going to get through all of this and get back home to his family next week. My heart hurts. My stomach hurts. My eyes hurt, but my buddy hasn't given up and neither am I 😔 Please buddy, please pull through this and get back home 😭 On Christmas Eve we took him in to a local vet for an examination. It was determined that he would need a cystotomy and potentially a urethrotomy along with neutering. He ended up receiving both. After recovery, we were able to pick him up but quickly realized something was wrong. At the emergency vet, he received additional staples to the incision. Once at The University of Florida, they placed a red rubber catheter, upon waking up from anesthesia his blood pressure crashed. After stabilization he was taken for emergency ct scans. It was determined that the knot from the neutering procedure had unraveled, causing internal bleeding. The bleeding has clotted and remained stable. He is now scheduled for another cystotomy, clot removal and knot fix and potentially a scrotal urethrostomy if the urethra is damaged to the point of needing to be salvaged. We are now approximately at 20k total. We have exhausted cash and financed the rest. It will be extremely difficult to make these payments. We are praying for any kind of relief possible, but will find a way no matter what. We are absolutely devastated, but extremely hopeful in a happy ending.

Trinity
Trinity is a 5 Year Old Dutch Shepherd Dog in Bradenton, FL, Who Needs $2,000 for Fluoroscopic Airway Exams & MRI.
Bradenton, FL
I found her breeder through a friend. She had been bought as a puppy by someone else and then returned to the breeder at age 2. She was a wild mess, but I knew after 2 days of having her that I couldnt not send her back even though she had a breathing issue. The prior vert assured us he could fix her and 2 procedures later and after taking thousands of dollars from me, he washed his hands of us. She’s been struggling with a serious breathing issue that makes every breath a battle, even on a short walk in temperatures over 50 degrees. Watching her fight to breathe is heartbreaking, and all I want is to see her healthy and happy again. She wants to work and do all the things so badly! She has so much potential that is sadly being snuffed out by this breathing issue. Not only is she my heart dog, but she is also a task trained medical service dog for my medical condition. Her and I just "mesh" and we always have. She reads me like a book. She knows what I am thinking before I do. I have already spend thousands out of pocket on prior procedures and care. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the next steps in her treatment. I have been trying to get this done since August of 2023 and I am finally pleading for help. She needs more diagnostics.

Switch
Switch is a 4 year old White English Bulldog in Archer, FL, who needs $2,000 for BOAS Surgery / Tracheostomy.
Archer, FL
Switch came to me from Second Chance Rescue & Rehoming. She is 4.5. She lives with 2 other dogs Franki and Tripp who are also rescues. Her nickname is "Switcharoo". She got the nickname because she can be super sweet but also can be a tad grumpy. She is a momma's girl through and through but she will raise her lip at me if I give her too many kisses when she is trying to nap. Switch is currently on a ventilator at UF Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville, FL. What was supposed to be a fun evening at the beach turned into my worst nightmare. She got inhalation pneumonia. Now she has had a tracheostomy due to her tongue and face being swollen which made it harder for her to breathe. They also performed BOAS surgery to help with her breathing. I taught her this trick "Don't look at me" which is so cute. She will also give me kisses for treats although sometimes it's more slobber than a kiss. She also had a tendency to sneeze in your face when you're not expecting it. She is truly the cutest dog in the world (at least to her momma) and she needs your help. She's the heartbeat of my existence. She loves to go camping with us. I am devastated and unable to focus on anything but her and getting her to come home. Having her back home would be life changing for me. Honestly, it's all I want in the world is to hold her, pet her, and kiss her again. She's my EVERYTHING!

Queen
Queen is a 3 month old German Shepherd Dog in Orlando, FL, who needs $5,000 for Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF).
Orlando, FL
One year ago our family fur baby, Dutchess passed away from cancer after being with us for 17 years. It was a weird year not having her around and my husband and I agreed that our house felt empty. Our 2 boys missed Dutchess and they wanted a companion. Then in July of this year, we found Queen from someone on Facebook. She connected with us instantly and we knew she was our new baby. Our baby, Queen, fractured her leg last week playing with our boys. While having a case of the zoomies, she ran under my son's legs and he fell on top of her. We knew she was really hurt when she couldn't put her leg down. We took her to the vet and they confirmed a complete fracture. She needs surgery and we're heading to the UF Small Animal Hospital in hopes to get help. We named our baby Queen because we knew right away that was exactly what she would be for us. She chose us as her family, not the other way around and the instant connection she had with our boys showed us just how special she is. She is only 3 months old and is so smart, potty trained to go outside, sits when asked, and knows when cuddles are needed. As with many others, life has been quite chaotic recently for us and after a very tough year of work struggles, bill struggles, and out of pocket health expenses, we're finally getting back on our feet but don't have the $5000 that we've been quoted for Queen's surgery.

Nando Easley
Nando Easley is a 4 month old Siberian Husky in Gainesville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Fix a Fracture in the Right Femur.
Gainesville, FL
My spouse and I were looking for a new addition to add to our family, hoping we could find a Siberian husky. We knew living in Florida, that we would possibly run into some trouble. A family friend informed my dad that their fur babies would now become parents. And on March 18th, 2025 my fur baby “Nando” was born into a loving home. We drove two hours to see him, and instantly fell in love. Nando is a free, energetic, and curious young pup. He loves to run and jump. Though my fur baby has a lot of pep in his step, due to his clumsiness he lost his footing and took a tumble down our apartment stairs (we live on the second floor). With that has caused Nando to have a fractured right femur. The UF Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville Florida has informed us that Nando would need surgery Nando is my special little baby because he has the kindest heart. He loves to give kisses and cuddles with family, friends, and at often times strangers. He doesn’t have any behavioral issues despite him being a young pup! He loves to run, jump, play, and dance! Due to his injury, he is unable to do any of his favorite activities, and it has caused heartbreak for my spouse, myself, and our baby. Unfortunately at the time of this horrific incident, my spouse and I are navigating building our first home on fixed incomes. It would mean so much to us if you could extend help to our baby Nando to becoming healthy again. With him getting surgery, we would get him back

Sheldon
Saving Sheldon: A Second Chance for a Special Pup
Deltona, FL • Purrfectly Wonky Animal Rescue
Sheldon arrived at a Georgia shelter in the middle of a heat stroke, weak and barely hanging on. He was placed on the euthanasia list, but this little fighter wasn’t ready to give up. With quick action and a will to live, Sheldon stabilized, and Purrfectly Wonky Animal Rescue stepped in right away. As he recovered from the heat stroke, the veterinary team noticed something unusual: Sheldon’s head seemed slightly enlarged. He’s suspected to have hydrocephalus, a condition caused by fluid building up around the brain. It can lead to pressure and neurological symptoms, but with the right care, many dogs live long and happy lives. Sheldon is now safe and resting in foster care. He’s already started on omeprazole, a medication that helps reduce fluid pressure in the brain and keep him comfortable. He’s alert and adjusting well as we begin planning for his next steps, including his neurology appointment scheduled for later this month. Sheldon’s journey is just beginning, and we’re committed to giving him the care he needs every step of the way. Donations help cover his vet visits, medication, and future diagnostics. Every dollar brings him closer to a second chance at life. Please consider giving today. Update 07/29 Sheldon had his big neurology appointment with the fantastic team at the University of Florida and right off the bat, he stole hearts left and right. No one can resist that sweet face and calm little soul! The neurologist confirmed Sheldon’s enlarged noggin is due to Hydrocephalus. Fortunately, he is not in any pain and is fairly asymptomatic — meaning he does not struggle with the typical symptoms (circling, trouble walking/balancing, vision issues, lethargy, seizures). His doctor did, however, say that our little guy is a bit "neurologically delayed" and "not too good at school.” Unfortunately, Sheldon is now facing a new challenge: he’s urinating constantly, sometimes five times in just a couple hours. So, it’s back to the vet we go — this time, to test for a possible pituitary gland disorder (an issue that can affect hormone balance, metabolism, and water retention). Sheldon’s current medical costs have already skyrocketed, and we’re bracing for even MORE as we continue his diagnostic testing and treatments. Beyond his emergency care, one neurology visit alone cost $295 and now he is looking at $300-400 for bloodwork and a urinalysis to hopefully give more answers. Sheldon’s come such a long way, despite so many setbacks — showing love every step of the way. So while his recovery care certainly isn’t cheap, if there’s one thing we DO know it’s that little sweet, very special, slightly-dopey boy is SO worth it. Please consider joining #TeamSheldon. Every single dollar towards his medical care is so very appreciated.

Gunner
Gunner is a 12 year old Australian Shepherd in Crystal River, FL, who needs $2,000 for Tie Back Surgery.
Crystal River, FL
Gunner has been in our family since he was 8 weeks old. My twin boys picked him out and what a great pick they did. He has been such a blessing to our family. He was such a good puppy. Potty trained from day 1 and never wanted to disappoint anyone. We fell in love with him from day 1. Gunner has been very healthy and received his annual shots and physicals. He does have a little anxiety and gets so excited when he sees his people. He loves to be vocal and loves kisses and hugs. And that he gets lots of. Gunner lives his family. He is awesome with all people and animals. He loves babies and loves to be introduced to babies either human or an animal. He absolutely loves children and will stay right by their side. He loves all animals, don’t matter what animal it may be. He is so sincere and would never hurt a fly. He is the best boy that anyone could ask for. Gunner has been having issues with his breathing and was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. It flared up twice and ended up hospitalized., He needs tie back surgery and it’s costly. Please help save him. It would mean the world to us to be able to bring him home.

Maverick
Maverick is a 1 year old Australian Kelpie in Umatilla, FL, who needs $2,000 for Neurologist Specialist.
Umatilla, FL
Hi. My name is Maverick, and my owner is Cody Lowery. He went all the way to Missouri to visit his grandparents and while there he was looking for a puppy to be trained as a service dog and he found me. I was 9 weeks old. It was love at first sight. He named me Maverick because he loved Top Gun, and his oldest brother was in the Navy. I am his Maverick to his Goose. LOL. My grandpa has a dog, and she ran full force into me and knocked me down. I limped afterwards but then it went away. A week later I started limping again and sometimes couldn't walk well. My vet gave me meds and x-rays nothing was broken. He referred me to a Neuro doggy dr and recommended an MRI because he said my spine. I have an appt on March 17th at UF Small Animal Hospital. I started learning how to sit, stay and give paws when told which one they want. I am also learning to down stay on leash without moving but I need to still practice. I am being trained for Cody for a service dog. He has medical issues, and he is autistic with memory issues plus more. I am helping him when he is emotional and needs me to be close. I don't leave his side. I love everyone!! Grandma is not working due to having to be home here with Cody make sure meds are taken and his dr appointments and tend to his strict food restrictions. Maverick being hurt and all training has stop has affected Cody so much. Only income is Codys SSI. Maverick is his life.

Filomena
Filomena is a 8 year old Basset Artésien Normand in Saint Augustine, FL, who needs $2,000 for CT Scan for Surgery Plan.
Saint Augustine, FL
In September 2024 a Facebook post from a local lost pets page came to our attention regarding a Basset Hound dog that appeared to be dumped, in distress, wandering in a neighborhood on the West side of Jacksonville. She was approaching cars, people, and houses seeking help. Some people gave her food and water, but no one was able to take her in or get her to help. She was not secure. As we approached her she gave us the biggest broken toothed smile and started wagging her tail excitedly. We tried to secure her with our dog's harness, but quickly realized she had a very large mass in her front left armpit/shoulder area so that wouldn't work. We carried her to our car and contacted the Jax Humane Society. They provided info for a vet that could see her immediately. Over the past five months, we have been treating her at UF in Gainesville, FL for a multitude of issues. Her mass - determined to be a lipoma has exploded in size and her left front leg has swollen to the point of immobility. She was evaluated by UF Emergency Room 2/8/25 with no real clear diagnosis and instruction to follow up with her PCP. Monday 2/10/25 - pcp and now 2/11/25 - CT for next steps We had lost our last Basset Sophie to oral melanoma 8/12/24 after spending over $25,000 right before we rescued Filomena. We want to help Filomena but cannot afford it. We are expecting she will need surgery on the lipoma mass and possibly limb. We need help!

Kiki
Kiki is a 3 year old Egyptian Mau in Ocala, FL, who needs $2,000 for Seal the Thurasic Duct & Chyle fluid removal.
Ocala, FL
I adopted Kiki when she was 1 year old she is now three. She loves to cuddle, is calm yet playful at times. Kiki brings so much light into our lives and everyone she meets. She instantly goes up to new people, loves to explore and is full of life. She has changed my life and other individuals lives through her loving personality and she never fails to make me laugh. Kiki recently began struggling to breathe and acting lethargic, so we took her to a vet, who found fluid in her chest reducing her lung capacity to 30–40%. After meds didn’t help, we went to UF Small Animal Hospital, where she had surgery to remove 8 oz of fluid. She now needs further treatment, including another surgery to seal a leaking thoracic duct caused by Chylothorax disease. Kiki never fails to make us feel loved, happy and lucky to have her in our lives. It is time we return the blessing it is to have her in our lives. She is the light of our lives and loves to interact with everyone (yes even new people). She instantly rubs her head on the back of anyone who visits home instantly looking for cuddles and rubs. I am in a fixed financial situation I live with roommates and am a student. Kiki is my emotional support animal. I suffer from ADHD, severe anxiety and have Autism she greatly helps to calm me down. It would mean the world to receive some help with this emergency situation.

Teddy
Teddy is a 8 year old Cairn Terrier in Orlando, FL, who needs $2,000 for CT Scan to Stemming Best Surgical Treatment.
Orlando, FL
Teddy was rescued not long after the pandemic. We walked around the shelter and found Teddy who was just received at the shelter. I told the staff we wanted to get the information on Teddy. They told us he just came in and to come back later after he was checked in. We sat with him for 45 minutes in his cage. Teddy came home with us the next day. Teddy has helped me through alot. Teddy developed a mass in his mouth that was diagnosed as bone cancer. Teddy has no other medical conditions. Luckily it has not spread. There is a chance to save Teddy, but in today's economy I struggle to make ends meet. Teddy is being seen at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Teddy is special with how many lives he has touched. He is a kind and loving dog that knows when anyone needs care. Teddy saved me when I was having a very hard time in my life and I want to do the same for him. Teddy is always on patrol to make sure we are safe. Teddy is very playful. He loves to bring his toys for us to throw and we are always greeted at the door with a tail wash and his toy. Financially everyday is stressful. I have gone through a divorce and ever dollar I get good to groceries, rent and other bills. I go without to make sure My sons and Teddy have what they need. To have Teddy healthy again would take away some of the stress and make my world whole

Laci
Laci is a 4 year old Great Dane in Beverly Hills, FL, who needs $2,000 for Antivenin.
Beverly Hills, FL
Meet Laci Lou. Our sassy, energetic, sweet, loving girl. Despite her big size she believes(as all Danes do) she is the world’s smallest dog and will sit on your lap even if you’re in a small recliner. She loves affection and attention. We rescued her from an abusive home and she has been showered with love ever since. She has 3 brothers, recently birthed 12 babies and a loving family of 4. Laci is currently in critical condition after a snake bit her twice. We believe it is a rattlesnake. She is in critical care but slowly improving. She is a UF veterinary Hospital in Gainesville, FL. When we first got there they told us she had a 50/50 chance and we decided to giver her a fighting chance and she is now improving and they are weaning her off of her pressers. Laci is an energetic sweetheart. She loves giving hugs like actual hugs it feels as if she is embracing you. She also loves attention if you stop petting her for a brief moment she will lay her pay on you and look into your soul as if you are abandoning her. She gives high fives and she even spins around in a circle. She loves playing with her brothers and making huge holes to lay in also. We are in desperate need of help. My baby is improving and our funds are running out. How can I just stop treatment knowing she is getting better? We need to give her a fighting chance because I need a lot more hugs from her. Please help.

Ivy
Ivy is a 5 year old Golden Retriever in Gainesville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Treatment.
Gainesville, FL
Ivy is a true UF gator! She was born in the swamp as a UF research dog, where she was wonderfully and lovingly raised. When she retired, she started giving back to the gator community as a regular blood donor since early 2021. She is an integral part of our family, which includes Freyja (Anatolian shepherd mix) and JR (Ruud/Munguia human mix). Ivy was recently diagnosed with cerebellopontine tumor (cerebellar meningioma). The tumor created a lot pressure and fluid buildup in her brain. She had a head tilt, wasn’t eating, and moving. She was diagnosed and will be treated by the amazing staff at University of Florida (UF) Veterinary Hospitals. She will be going through definitive radiation therapy for a month to reduce her tumor size. There is a reason I refer to Ivy as My Sweet Golden Princess. She wholeheartedly believes that all humans are put on this earth to pet and spoil her with attention. Every night she loves starting “fights” with her big sister Freyja, and Freyja thoroughly enjoys playing with her little sister. Ivy has overcome her fear of doorways and is now so brazen, she steals food from her little brother, JR. When Ivy’s head tilt started, we never imagined we’d spend ~$2300 on diagnostics and over $9000 on treatment. These expenses are a heavy burden for any family, especially one with a 2-year-old in daycare. We want to give Ivy a 2nd chance to continue her special bond with JR.

Kobe
Kobe is a 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier in OCALA, FL, who needs $2,000 for Mandibulectomy/Jaw Amputation/ Dental Surgery.
OCALA, FL
Our sweet boy Kobe (yes, named after Kobe Bryant).. Long story short, our family has been healing since I went into cardiac arrest twice. It has been a journey, but God has only made us stronger each day. We also moved to a new city, started new jobs and just trying to get our finances back. Kobe has always been there.. overall healthy and we would like to see if anyone would like to help our pup. Please help our poor pup, he suffered from a broken jaw and always had anxiety since we adopted him from a family who could no longer keep him. He is currently in UF Vet Hospital stable and on pain meds, waiting for a surgery procedure. His procedure will cost about 5,000-7,000 and we were able to cover 2,000.. we are short and hoping for a miracle for this sweet boy. He’s been a blessing to us. After we adopted Kobe, we quickly found out he may have been abused and he had anxiety. We travel everywhere with him. He loves camping and just being with his love bunch. He is almost 10yrs old now, but he sure has a lot of life to him! You wouldn’t know he was getting into senior age. We were able to pay some money towards his care and treatment, just need some help and grateful for any donations. All proceeds will go directly to the vet hospital.

Bodie
Bodie is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Minneola, FL, who needs $2,000 for Kidney Surgery with Bilateral Stent Bypass Ureters.
Minneola, FL
Bodie is a 6-year-old mixed male kitty. We adopted him from Seaworld during COVID. He was a show cat there, as he performed as one of the tightrope walkers. He lives with mommy, daddy, and his little brother Peanut. He has been a very healthy boy up until a few months ago. He is the sweetest boy in the world and loves snuggling, purring, walking around and "talking", and playing with little bro. Bodie has been steadily losing weight over the last few months. He has recently been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and kidney stones that are trapped in his ureters. We have tried to medically manage this but it has failed. He is requiring an extensive surgery that requires two implants to bypass both ureters. It will be an ongoing, chronic issue. Bodie is a mommas boy and enjoys snuggling with mommy and daddy every night. He also loves playing with his little brother. They enjoy any cat toy infused with cat nip. He has the sweetest demeanor of any cat I have ever owned. He has never met a stranger and he loves everyone. He is the absolute joy and light of our lives. My husband and I don't have kids so our cats are our children and family. My husband is a firefighter which unfortunately doesn't bring in a lot of income. I am a nurse but I am currently in school to obtain my Psych NP so I am not currently working. It would mean the world to us, any support possible. This endeavor has cost us almost $20000.

Heidi
Heidi is a 14-year-old Mini Schnauzer in Ocala, FL, who needs $2,000 for Left Perianal Mass/Three Mammary Mass Removal.
Ocala, FL
I have owned Heidi since she was 8 weeks old. She survived Puppy Parvo about a month after purchasing her. I knew she was a fighter right then. She has been a constant companion to me and my late husband. She exudes love. I can't imagine a life without her; at least not yet. She has been healthy and playful but has developed a mass on her left backside which needs to be removed. Heidi is such a friendly dog. She shows love to everyone who visits. My daughter brags that Heidi saved her life when she was going through some troubling times. When I am walking her, she goes up to people and lets them pet her. Heidi follows me everywhere. Always making sure I am okay; and anyone else in the home. She knows what time to eat, walk and sleep. Very smart. When she knows it's time to go out, she will stand in front of you till you put on the leash. Same with eating and sleeping. Heidi has been healthy & every time I take her to the Vet for her checkups the doctor always says she is in perfect health except for a growth on her backside that needs to be removed. It is a mass which requires surgery which means a night at the UF Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville. I am on a fixed income and when situations like Heidi's medical needs occur which is not a normal thing, I find it very difficult to pay as I could when my late husband was alive. I have never asked anyone for help until now.

Willow
Willow is a 5-month-old Frenchie in Newberry , FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Repair of a Fractured Elbow.
Newberry, FL
Willow came into my life after many years of wishing and waiting as my birthday present this year. She immediately stole my heart 💜 and has been the perfect addition to our family. She has quickly adapted to her new family and refuses to accept that she’s the smallest in the house or the baby of the pack. Willow is a tough cookie and she definitely keeps up with the rest of us! Willow is a loving little ball of velvet wrinkly energy 💜. She is so smart and so quick to learn new tricks and commands. Her fiery personality is so adorable and her loving energy is contagious. Unfortunately, her big personality and fearless spirit has recently brought on an awful injury. While playing with her big sisters, one of them toppled onto her and her front left leg was broken at the elbow. After being reviewed by her vet, it was revealed that she would require orthopedic surgery by a specialist. It has been difficult to find someone certified to perform the procedure until now. Due to the specialized nature of the orthopedic surgery, she will be seen at the UF Veterinary Hospital. The only other specialist was two hours away. It is estimated that this will be $3500 and is completely unexpected. At this time, I do not have a way to cover these costs

Aspen
Aspen is a 1-year-old English Cream Retriever in Chesapeake, VA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery-Skin Removal for Pythium.
Chesapeake, VA
Aspen was a gift for my sons 2nd birthday. She has been with my family for just over 1 year And we adopted her at only 8 weeks old. They have become best friends and go everywhere together She is the most wonderful dog and attempts to protect our son by staying at his side 24/7. She always wants to be with us and is an integral part of our family. Aspen will intervene if she senses any type of danger including pulling myself toddler away from the edge of the pool preventing swim lessons when learning to jump! Aspen developed an ulcer and was taken to the vet on august 20 2023. After 3 surgeries and multiple rounds of biopsies we got the heart breaking news that Aspen has Pythium. We have already spent over $5000 and spend $1000 on anti fungal medications but the only treatment left to intervene aggressively is life saving surgery which is over $10000 in expected treatment plus follow up care. We are looking at over $20000 in expected experimental surgeries and treatment to save her life. Without surgery her medication only intervention success rate is less than 10%

CC (Coco Chanel)
CC (Coco Chanel) is a 13-year-old American Pitbull Terrier in Live Oak, FL, who needs $1,500 for Radiographs, Lab Work, Sedation, and Treatment.
Live Oak, FL
I've had CC, short for Coco Chanel since she was a puppy. We've been together for 13 years. She is best friends and mama bear to myself, my six year old son, Ryder, and her doggy siblings: Buddy and Mackey. CC is certainly the mama of the family. She takes care of everyone in need. Her favorite is to take care of babies and kids. She protects them, follows them around, and notifies us with cries or barks if someone is in need- or getting into trouble. She is the most amazing dog that I always thought would die playing her favorite game: fetch. She lives to have a ball in her mouth. She loves talking to humans and other dogs, yet most people don't understand her language. I do though 😉 Since the hurricane displacement, CC's health has declined quickly. She isn't eating or drinking, she's very lethargic with labored breathing, and she strains to poop - with no success. She already suffers from hypothyroidism, degenerative joint disease, and fatty deposits all over her body. The masses came back each time we've paid to have them removed. My family is currently displaced by Hurricane Idalia. Our home is without power, water, cell service, and other basic necessities like shower, toilet, etc. We are staying in a motel until the house is safe to return to and the hazards removed.

Lorenzo
Lorenzo is a 9-month-old Sheepadoodle in Ocala, FL, who needs $2,000 for Sepsis Surgery and Treatment.
Ocala, FL
Lorenzo became a part of my family in January 2023 from a doodle rescue. After a long search, I found the right fit for my 8 1/2 year old dog, Bodhi, who has hip dysplasia. He takes Galaprant and Gabapentin daily.. B/c of Lorenzo Bodhi is doing remarkably better and so am I. He's become so loved that I cannot imagine him not in my little family. Lorenzo is the sweetest dog. A little codependent but he's a light to all who encounter him. He's even stolen the hearts of his ICU team. He's silly, a little hard headed but so endearing that even that is adorable. Again, cannot imagine life without him, especially not at only 9 months of age. He is pure love. Wants nothing but to be loved, play with Bodhi, cuddle with me. He loves to throw and retrieve his favorite stick. Sometimes he and Bodhi will both hold onto it and run around the backyard together with it. It's really funny to watch them. A reason to smile every day and that's everything! Lorenzo had an intestinal blockage. A local vet did surgery, bably. As a result, Enzo became critical with sepsis. He's now at a specialty hospital. They performed another surgery. Since then, he's been receiving life saving care. His odds of survival are up from 10% to 40%. He wants to live! The costs are exorbitant and climbing. How tho do I put a price on his life? He's priceless. I used to have quite an interesting life as a professional ballet dancer, then teacher. I became ill with Lupus, CKD, COPD, as well as many surgeries due to a life of ballet. Back surgery, 2 bone replacements, MRSA... Now I'm on SSDI/medicad. I hate that but grateful for it.

Tux
Tux is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Gainesville , FL, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.
Gainesville, FL
Tux was abandoned as a kitten and he found my then 1 year old son ahd myself one evening while walking our dog. He was so loving and sweet and he decided we belonged to him right away. He would sit above our front door and cry anytime we went in/out until we decided to keep him. He lives with my 2 special needs kids and myself. He is very important to us and we would appreciate any help at all! Tux is a spoiled boy who loves to cuddle with his person in bed at night. He also sneaks extra meals from other household members even though he's already been fed. He loves spending time on his cat tower on the patio watching birds and squirrels but his favorite place is in mom's lap getting all the scritches! Tux loves to play and will make a toy out of anything. Often found chasing a qtip, string or bread tie that he stole from a countertop. We have been talking about getting him a harness to teach him how to walk outside, since he is so social and friendly. He is the friendliest boy and frequently cuddles my mother who has dementia and functions very well an emotional support animal. Tux was previously treated for a UTI with urinary blockage a few months ago. I managed to work up enough money then to have the veterinary hospital unblock him with a urinary catheter and monitor him for 2 days. He has been free of symptoms for so long that we hoped it would not reoccur. However, yesterday he started having issues with urinating again. Single mom of two special needs kids battling my own chronic illness, recent extended loss of work due to medical issues of my own. Extremely back logged in bills and narrowly avoided an eviction, but now my savings is exhausted & my credit wrecked, eliminating other option

Theo
Theo is a 4-year-old Terrier/Dashound in Bronson, FL, who needs $2,000 for Left Leg Amputation.
BRONSON, FL
My daughter rescued Theo when he was 6 weeks old. Someone had a litter of puppies giving them away at Walmart. Theo was the runt and didn't look well. She took him to the vet and he had worms and was covered in fleas. The last 4 years he has been her best friend. He became a special member of our family from the start. His 4 year old birthday is in 5 days. Theo is my daughter's dog but he is a member of our family. He loves everyone and wants to be around us at all times. When I had surgery last year he was by my side the whole time. You could tell he knew I needed extra love. He has been the rock that has helped my daughter through tough times. I can't imagine not waking up every morning to his little paws clacking on the floor ready to go out. Theo is an active pup and loved being outside chasing balls and playing with the family. He is also a cuddle bug and has to be in your lab if you are sitting down. He is one of the most loving dogs that I have ever met. He gets up on you and hugs you with his paws. He always seems to know when you have a bad day and is there to make it better. We adopted a second dog for my other daughter and she attacked Theo last month. The majority of damage was done to his left leg. Our vet put staples and sutures in but now he will need that leg amputated as the nerve damage is too severe. Theo has been through a painful recovery but is still so loving. We are your average family that struggles regularly. My husband is disabled and I work full time. But we have already used our savings on Theo's medical care and now he needs another surgery. He is a fighter that deserves a chance.

Pence
Pence is a six-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Jasper, FL, who needs $1,940 for cancer treatment.
Jasper, FL
Pence is only six years old and fighting cancer. It was a devastating diagnosis for his human family. "Our lives were turned upside down," Lore, Pence's human dad, tells Waggle. "The mass was removed, but it returned, and now he needs radiation and surgery. It runs quite a bit more than we can afford." Lore created this Waggle campaign hoping fellow animal lovers will give to help Pence get his life-saving treatment for soft tissue sarcoma. It would mean so much to keep their family together. "At just four weeks old, Pence wandered onto my porch and into our hearts," Lore says. "Abandoned, he adopted us and has been ours ever since. We are empty nesters, and he fills our home with joy and life."

Trishia
Trishia is a 6-year-old Mix breed in Bend, OR, who needs $507 for Tail Amputation.
Bend, OR • People Saving Animals
Trishia is a homeless dog. She was rescued from the streets of Guatemala when she was a puppy. Whoever rescued her took her to a shelter, where she receives food and has a place to sleep. She also has the opportunity to share with other dogs. She has 6 years now. She, like all the dogs at the shelter, hopes to find a family that will adopt her. She is a happy and playful dog. She likes to share with other dogs. Her best friend is Meghan, they have shared the same cage for many years. They are the same age and arrived at the shelter at the same time. They both really like to go for walks. Every day, a shelter employee takes them out for a walk and that is their favorite time of day. She, like other homeless dogs, had difficult experiences on the street. She probably got hungry and cold; maybe someone yelled at her. However, she does not lose her joie de vivre... and has not lost trust in people. When a person approaches its cage, it will jump up and bark to get your attention. For reasons unknown to shelter employees, at mealtime, several dogs started a fight. Trishia was bitten on the tail and it fractured. The vet determined that amputation was necessary. In addition, the tail area needed to be disinfected and treated with antibiotics. It was especially important to treat her with an antibiotic, so she wouldn't get infected. Trishia is in a shelter in rural Guatemala that is at full capacity and with limited resources. There is no veterinarian at this shelter, so she had to be transferred to a vet in Guatemala City, where she could be treated appropriately.

Honey
Honey is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Winter Springs, FL, who needs $1,500 for Stomatitis- Full Mouth Extraction.
Winter Springs, FL
Honey just turned 3 in August. We rescued her from a shelter when she was around 7 months. She is my college age daughters cat but we all were quickly attached to her. We adopted a sister for Honey about 4 months ago but since she got sick shortly after Honey has not been able to enjoy having a playmate. Honey is normal very playful. Loves laser lights and ribbon toys. She likes to sleep cuddled up in my bed and loves laying in the sun on the back porch. Since she has been sick she is not her playful self. It hurts my heart to see her struggle to eat. She has not bonded much with our new cat but I am hopeful that she will once she is feeling better. You can tell Honey is happy when meets me at the door when I get home for a headbutt. She loves to sit on my lap and will purr loudly when scratched behind her ears. We still bring out her favorite rainbow ribbon everyday even though she is not playing as much. I can tell she misses her treats because she will go stand by the cabinet door but she can't currently eat them.:( She hadn't been eating and was losing weight, so we took her to the vet for a check-up. When the vet said it was FIP - Feline Infectious Peritonitis, we were devastated. Her globulin levels are really high and they sent us to a specialist. After over $1600 diagnosed her with Stomatitis and would need a full mouth extraction. We are on a fixed income. I am the only one that works. My daughter is in college and my son is disabled so while we get by paycheck to paycheck we are not able to take on medical bills of this size.

Chewie
Chewie is a 2-year-old Husky in Tallahassee, FL, who needs $2,000 for Thoracic Duct Ligation Surgery.
Tallahassee, FL
Chewie is the best 2 year old boy! He has a brain disorder that makes him walk a little funny, but he doesn't let that slow him down! Chewie was rushed to the ER Friday with fluid on his lungs. He is now at the vet hospital in ICU and will need thoracic duct ligation surgery. We've already paid thousands and I'm in school, so I need your help to afford his life saving surgery. Thanks for reading! Chewie's favorite things to do are follow his mommy around the house, fight with the blankets, and play with his toys on the ground! He also enjoys plenty of snacks! He is SUCH a goofball and makes everyone laugh He has a doggie stroller that allow him to go for long walks, since he gets tired easily from his brain disorder. He loves his stroller but only when he can be in front of his sister! Chewie loves to talk and tell you his opinions on things! When he wants help he uses his husky singing voice. When he doesn't like something he will definitely let you know too! Chewie's favorite time of the day is night night time! All you have to do is say the words "night night" and he runs into the bedroom, puts his front legs on the bed and waits for help to get up on the bed! Chewie was rushed to the ER Friday in respiratory distress. They drained 5 Liters of fluid from his lungs and asked us to go to the veterinary hospital for diagnostics and treatment. He is in the ICU there with a chest tube awaiting CT and life saving surgery to ligate his thoracic duct I'm a student in a post-graduate program that does not allow us to work, so my income is limited to loans. We've already paid thousands towards the cost of stabilization and diagnostics, but can't afford the surgery to save his life.

Mindy
Mindy is an 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Lantana, FL, who needs $1,000 for urgent tumor removal.
Lantana, FL • With Love for the Animals
For many long, cruel years, a breeder used Mindy for breeding over and over again. When her days of having puppies were over, the breeder dumped her at a groomer. Mindy was covered in feces, and her fur was stuck together in clumps. The groomer had to shave off all her hair to clean her up. When "With Love for the Animals" rescue heard about Mindy, the group immediately saved her. They discovered massive tumors on her mammary glands, an unrepaired hernia exacerbated by years of nursing puppies, and she had 12 rotten teeth that needed to be removed. The rescue needs your help paying for all of Mindy's medical care while they work on helping her learn she is worthy of love. "She did not know how to go to the bathroom outside and is learning that she does not have to lay in her waste. It is heartbreaking to think about," Jennie P., with the rescue, tells Waggle. The group says despite all Mindy has been through, she is the sweetest girl. She had never been on grass; now, being outside and rolling around is her favorite. She has a lot of love to give and joy to experience in the rest of her dog years. Luckily this beautiful girl is now healing, starting to feel good again, and will soon be looking for a special family. "Please consider donating towards her outstanding medical bills," Jennie says. "With Love for the Animals relies solely on donations to function, and without your kindness, we wouldn't be able to do the work we do. We appreciate all the support you can give while Mindy is recovering!"

Sammie
Sammie is a 14-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Ocala, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Removal of Mast Cell Tumors.
Ocala, FL
Sammie is a rescue that we adopted through Petsmart in 2008. There was an adoption event, and while I wasn't planning on adopting a pet, once I met Sammie I had no choice. He hugged me the first time I picked him up that day. I couldn't stop thinking about him for days and decided to pursue adoption. Life changing! Sammie is a beloved member of our family. My daughter has had Sammie as a snuggle buddy from the age of 3 to her current age, 17. I work from home and he is right by my side. He provides so much love to our household, helps to ease our anxieties, and makes us laugh especially when he has the zoomies. He is a constant companion, and truly my dearest friend. Sammie is so gentle and loving. He is a hugger and befriends any and all new folks he meets. He is patient and loving with his younger brother (also a rescue from Ocala's Sheltering Hands). He loves jumping in the bathtub after someone showers, snuggling under soft blankets, and is obsessed with Greenie treats. Sammie was diagnosed with mast cell sarcoma at our local Banfield veterinary practice. He has two lumps on his neck. We were referred to UF Veterinary Hospital's Oncology Department and completed an evaluation and fine needle aspiration. Tests confirmed that the lumps are mast cell tumors and the course of treatment with the best outcome is sedation and surgery by the surgical oncologists at UF. Household expenses, rent, Sammie's monthly medical expenses for hyperthyroidism, and inflation have made it increasingly difficult to cover something like this. Having assistance would add many years to his life and joy to our family.

Ginger
Ginger is a Ten-Month-Old Shepherd mix in Bend, OR, who needs $735 for Mange Treatment.
Bend, OR • People Saving Animals
Ginger is just a puppy and has only known suffering and pain during her short life. She was rescued from the streets of a small Guatemalan town when she was three months old and has since fought terrible mange and skin infections -- some were so horrendous she needed to be hospitalized. The nonprofit People Saving Animals, which helps dogs in Central America, is trying to raise money to get Ginger the medical care she needs so she can get on the road to recovery and adoption. But the group can only do that with your help. She's just a pup and has a bright future once she is healthy. "Ginger is a happy and playful dog," Walter G., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "She likes to run and jump; she is an active dog. She is a friendly dog." Please give to Ginger's campaign so she can blossom into the beautiful girl she should be!

INGLIS, FL
Tiffini T. is distraught. Her cherished service dog, BabyDoll, was hit by a car and needs immediate surgery to fix her broken femur. But Tiffini and her family can't afford the operation. "My fight with Leukemia left us financially broke," Tiffini tells Waggle. "If I can come up with half of the money, the hospital will match it. I desperately need to raise $2500. Roodie
Roodie is a 10-year-old Dachshund in Kissimmee who needs $1,500 for Radiation therapy.
Kissimmee
I have had Roodie since he was a puppy, I saw him at a mustang rescue as I was riding along with a large animal veterinarian to get the required hours to obtain my veterinary assistant certification. I saved up some money during a summer job and went back a week later because I couldn’t stop thinking about him, (it was only the cost of the neuter and vaccines) but at 17 that was a lot for me Roodie has been a member of our family since the first day I got him, he’s never left my side. He enjoys going on kayak rides, trail rides, car rides, you name it. He loves just loves to go. Or he loves a lazy day inside cured up on me or anyone who has a blanket. He mostly naps all day curled up with his cousin cat named Mikey. Roodie is a condisure of chasing lizards, and squirrels even though he is sorely outmatched. He really enjoys playing with his house mates and sleeping on the back of the couch behind your heal like a scarf. Or he will sleep next to you at night in the middle of your back slowly inching you out of your own bed. And believe me when I say its finders keepers, loosers weepers. Roodie was diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma, which is an aggressive form of cancer, however, it was caught ver early and with the help of chemo the cancer has not spread. Very soon we will be starting radiation which will help to shrink the tumor. But time is of the Essence, eventually the tumor will become resistant to the chemo. I work full time and Iam a full time student as well as looking for a second job, my bills are paid and I can contribute but I cannot afford this on my own, I have a team of drs at three different hospitals that are working hard to help Roodie and helping where they can.

Shuggy Brown
Shuggy Brown is a 1-year-old American Bully in Laurel, MS, who needs $2,000 for endoscopy to remove hook.
Laurel, MS
Hi, our family decided to get Shuggy after hearing about pets helping children with Epilepsy. Our 3 year old has 2 types of Epilepsy. After honestly praying and hoping we would find the right puppy to adapt and maybe even alert us in the event of our daughter having a seizure, our daughter has made it 7 months seizure free. She makes ours girls every step. Shuggy sleeps with our 3 year old every night and we truly believe she is the reason the seizures have stopped. The doctors have even lowered her medicine and still she is doing great. She went from having 2-3 seizures a month bad ones to NONE. Talk about a Blessing! Shuggy has been a blessing to our family. Shuggy thinks wherever the girls are she has to be there too. She even has learned to retrieve our “safety” backpack, which has our little girl's medicine. So every day at the time it’s time to give her meds to her, Shuggy has started retrieving the bag and bring it to us, hich our little girl thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. Last night we took our girls on their first tent camping trip and as we were unloading, Shuggy came up with a piece of fishing line hanging out of her mouth and was gagging. We rushed her to the University of Florida Animal Hospital and they told us she had a fishing hook in her stomach and she couldn’t pass it. The surgery is $1800. They needed payments immediately. We have no way to come up with that. We don’t know what to do or how it will affect our girls. Especially our youngest. Shuggy is our little Hero Pup! We need your help to bring Shuggy Home!!!! Please help!

Lady
Lady is a 10-year-old Malitpoo in San Diego, CA, who needs $1,500 for cancer treatment.
San Diego, CA
Lady was named after Lady from Lady in the tramp. I've had her since the day she was born and she would always whine at the door at night until she was inside on your bed. I instantly knew that name was perfect for her. She's extremely spoiled and even though she's not a puppy anymore she still acts like one and still whines and paws at the door until you let her cuddle up next to you. Lady is the boss of the house even though she is the youngest. She makes sure she gets pets from everyone at home, and loves to cuddle. Her favorite activities are car rides to Starbucks for puppacinos, long walks to the park, and going to the beach. Lady has always been in our lives and is the best dog and companion I could ever ask for. My family lives on a day to day salary working as house cleaners, and due to covid they have faced financial losses due to their clients canceling for health reasons. I am currently an unemployed college student and do not have enough savings to pay for her surgery. Lady has been diagnosed with a malignant mammary gland (cancer) and stage 4 periodontal disease. Her x-rays and blood work have come back normal so thankfully the cancer has not spread throughout her body. We hope to get her into surgery as soon as possible to get her tumor removed so that she can be cancer free! Lady will be seeing Dr. Arman at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital. Lady is a one of a kind dog, and has so much personality that I am convinced she's a human trapped inside a dogs body. Everybody that she meets absolutely loves her and she shows her affection and happiness by giving happy barks and squeals. When you give her a treat she spins around in circles and wants to give you high fives.

Cutie Martinez
Cutie Martinez is a 5-year-old Chiweenie in Gainesville, FL, who needs $2,000 for an ACL Repair.
Gainesville, FL
We adopted cutie from a neighbor who didn’t have time to care for he, she spent her first year in a crate. We dog sat for her a few times and the last time we did she didn’t want to go home, she was actually hugging my daughter around her neck, it was so sad but then the next day the neighbor stopped by to say that she was crying all night and offered for us to keep her! Cutie has been a joy in our life, she was a natural at being an emotional support when I lost my dad and she is always there to snuggle when someone is sad. She even alerts my husband to check his sugar. She is one of the kids but she is also my shadow and protector. Cutie thinks she is a big dog and loves to act tough but she is just a love bug when you get to know her. Like most people we live check to check and do not have much in savings. I do still have a bit from the stimulus but still need $2000 more to cover the $3000 surgery. We are hoping someone will help Cutie with this so she can get back to enjoying her life ♥️💔 A few months ago Cutie stopped jumping up and down from the couch and then she started to limp a bit. We took her to the vet and they said it might be a sprain but after a few more days she didn’t want to get up. We did an X-ray to find out it was a dislocated knee and torn acl which will require surgery, or for her to be in pain meds that make her quality of life poor. Her best friend is our cat Chedder, they play, wrestle and snuggle, it’s so cute. Before our senior dog Baby passed away Cutie would play with her and watch out for her, she would even watch her sleep towards the end. Losing Baby was so hard because we had her for 13 years but Cutie was there for emotional support and again when my dad passed.

Camden, SC
I've had Fluffy since he was a kitten. We have been together for five years now. He's my everything. He's recently began having tummy issues and I want to take him to a vet for a check up but I have no money. I come from a low income family. I love my cat and I want what's best for him. And I just want him to feel better My cat is a chill cat but he brings positive vibes to our home he sleeps in the cutest positions and is always content. Every mirkmg he loves looking out the window at the birdies. You can never go to the bathroom alone as he will follow to see what you're doing and get some pets. Fluffy loves to play with bottle caps and pipe cleaners. I have no job because I have no transportation. I live with my mom and we only get 700 a month for income. A donation of $150 for a vet visit is all I need to help him feel better. Please help me Fluffy has always been an overall healthy kitty but recently he's been having stomach sensitivities and I want to take him to a vet for a check up but I do not have the funds. I am looking for a low cost vet clinic near me to take fluffy too. His health is very very important to me and I just want him to feel better My cat is a calm cat and his calmness eases my anxiety. He makes everyones day a better day with his happy attitude. Sometimes he'll kay on the floor and he'll just roll side to side while licking his paws. It is the cutest thing ever. My cat is an odd eyed cat. He has one green eye and one blue eye.

Mary Jane
Mary Jane is an 11-year-old Boxer in Ypsilanti, MI, who needs $1200 for critical surgery.
Ypsilanti, MI
Mary Jane needs surgery, stat! While everyone was locked down during the midst of the pandemic, including many animal hospitals, two small tumors became visible on Mary Jane. Her human dad, Richard H., noticed them but says no pet clinics close to him were performing surgeries at that time because of COVID-19. As the virus outbreak and quarantine stretched on, Richard struggled to find work like so many people. His income decreased, but at the same time, the size of one of Mary Jane's tumors increased. "It became huge fast," Richard tells Waggle. Mary Jane's masses then grew into colossal tumors; one hangs down and reaches the ground. Now animal hospitals are back open, and she needs the masses removed immediately at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. But Richard is having trouble paying for this incredibly critical surgery because of his pandemic-related job loss. He hopes dog lovers who read about Mary Jane's plight will help come to her rescue. Richard's entire family misses playing with Mary Jane. "It's not right for her to have to live with this," Richard says. "She is amazing with the kids; the tumor is slowing her down," he says. Can you help Mary Jane get the urgent surgery she needs?

Tinkie
Tinkie is an 11-year-old Mini Yorkie in Bellaire , OH, who needs $712 for Dental Extractions.
Bellaire, OH
Tinkie was brought to me as a gift in early 2000. Her previous owner had a busy work schedule and was unable to provide her with the care and attention she needed. She warmed up to me and would never leave my side. She was not house broken and pretty stubborn but with patience I taught her how to potty outside. Around 1 year after having Tinkie I discovered she has infrequent seizures. Tinkie is adored in my family. We watch over her like she is a baby. She loves to be held and squeezes her way between you and any pieces of furniture you sit on. She is gentle with my young niece and nephew. But she also thinks she is the household gaurdian. She doesn’t realize her small size and acts very large if someone comes to our door. I’m am on a limited income and pay rent along with other bills that prevent me from affording this costly procedure. I can only afford so much. It would mean a great deal to have any help offered to lower the cost. I want Tinkie to be happy and healthy and comfortable. I’m currently in a situation where I cannot afford to pay the large sum of money for her dental care. Almost all of her teeth are bad and could pose serious health risks. Her vet is located at Glendale Animal Hospital in Glandale,West Virginia. Their phone number is 1(304)845-5454 her vet is Dr. Mary Martin-Olson. Tinkie has a special place in my heart. She is so happy to see me come in the door whether I’m gone 5 minutes or 15 minutes. She greets me with this cute smile on her face. It’s hard to see her smile because she is small but she shows all her little teeth and waggles her nubby tale and body. It’s the cutest.

Molly
Molly is a 5-year-old German Shepherd in Katy, TX, who needs $765 for Surgical removal of uterus due to pyometra.
Katy, TX
I rescued this amazing fur baby Molly in February of 2016 she was only a few months old, her guardians were unable to keep her and she lived in a dog carrier 24 hours a day, she had damage to her ears and would eat her own poo. She was very shy and scared. Well she got used to me and up until now is a happy beautiful playful fur daughter. Molly has overcome her shyness and is a happy playful loving fur baby. She is always by my side and even keeps my feet warm at night. She loves playing with my grandchildren and is a very loving soul. She has brought happiness into my life and everyone that meets her. She is an amazing fur baby. She has brought happiness and peace in my life. The cost of this surgery was unexpected and very costly. I have no savings and I irk part time. Even though I am willing to allot all my paycheck, it’s still not enough to pay for this urgent care. I can’t imagine my life without Molly. She has brought happiness to my life. Molly has had perfect health until now… I blame myself for not spaying her, I had no idea this could or would happen. I noticed a her bleeding longer than expected. heartbreaking news. She has developed pyometra after her last cycle and needs emergency surgery. When her vetHer vet at affordable vet care in Katy, Texas said the sooner the best chance of saving her life. She is like a mother goose. She watches the baby and makes sure she doesn’t go on the stairs or hurts herself, always walking next to her. She loves going for walks or taking me for a walk. lol. She really enjoys her puppychinos and even shares. Her favorite ice cream is vanilla and least favorite vegetable is carrots.

Tiny
Tiny is a 9-year-old Mixed in Richlands, VA, who needs $1,000 for Salivatory Gland Removal.
Richlands, VA
Tiny has been in our life since around 2012. She is a mixed breed (thought to include Collie). She is a lovable dog, but can have an attitude at times. She has had genetic issues her whole life including an umbilical hernia (not removed as the vet said it is fine as it doesn’t hurt her) and salivatory gland cysts. Her first surgery costed $1000 and was done by Dr. Roy Wright. Tiny has a human mommy, daddy and maw-maw that love her very much! She does have issues with some dogs while being the best of friends with others (remember she has attitude issues). She is great with children, she loves rabbits and she loves to nap. She likes to have a job when possible (rounding up animals). She does sometimes go car riding with one of her dog sister’s, Pepper. We are on a fixed income and I am a college student plus I rescue as many animals in my area as I can to help them in desperate times. We live in a rural area so there is always an animal in need. She has salivatory gland cysts and one side was removed by Dr Roy Wright which costed $1000 for surgery, meds and overnight stay. I have no more money on my CareCredit and she now needs the second salivatory gland taken out as her neck/mouth is swollen which causes pain, infection and drooling. She is healthy and happy otherwise, but obviously must have surgery. She is special because she came from a hoarding issue with a lot of genetic issues and we have helped her, loved her and spoiled her to the best of our ability. She has been in our family since 2012 and we don’t want her to go anywhere anytime soon. She has big eyes that are so sweet, adorable floppy ears and can be very funny at times!

TinkerBell
Tinker Bell is a seven-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Dunnellon, FL, who needs $2,000 for double knee surgery.
Dunnellon, FL
Tinker Bell can't walk because she is in so much pain. When it's time to go potty Jane W., Tinker Bell's human mom, has to carry her in and out of the house. The adorable dog can't have fun with her furbaby brother and sisters, "I sometimes cry because she wants to play with them and is not able to do so," Jane tells Waggle. "Sometimes she lets out a little bark as if to say 'come play with me,' but she can only watch them." But you can help Tinker Bell walk again! The tiny pooch has a big but fixable problem: She tore her cruciate ligaments (similar to a human ACL) in both her knees and needs surgery to fix them. And Jane also has a big but fixable problem: She can't afford Tinker Bell's operation and needs to raise the money for the procedure. "I am a disabled senior citizen and only receive a small disability check each month," Jane says. "I have no human family, but I am so thankful to have my furbaby family. They are my children. It would be such a gift and miracle for Tinky to be able to walk, run, and play." Jane adopted Tinker Bell from a rescue group seven years ago, and the two have become so attached. She sleeps in bed with Jane and is always by her side. Not being able to help Tinker Bell because of financial reasons has been terrible for both Jane and Tinker Bell. "Tinker Bell can only drag herself a short distance," Jane adds. "A doggie wheelchair and medications have not helped. She needs the surgery ASAP, or she will get worse. I love my little girl so much. She is my princess." Can you help Tinker Bell get back on both feet again?

Charley
Charley is a Catahoula Mix in Browns Mills, NJ, who needs $1,362 for an evaluation to determine if congenital heart defect and/or infection is present.
Browns Mills, NJ • One Love Animal Rescue Group Inc
Charley and his 3 siblings and mother traveled up to One Love Animal Rescue in New Jersey arrving from Texas on June 12, 2021. Three out of four of the puppies have died after being admitted to urgent care. We are proactively bringing Charley into urgent care to get him evaluated and treated if necessary. Our medical bills with the other three pups exceeds $12,000. Please help us with Charley! Charley is a sweet but shy puppy that was surrended to animal control in Texas with his two brothers and sister and mother. He was brought into our rescue to ensure he got the medical treatment and care he needed before he could be adopted out to a forever family. One Love pulls dogs and cats of all breeds, ages and medical conditions. We are a 501C3 non-profit that relies entirely on donations for our funding. We take animals of all breeds, ages and medical conditions. Because of this, we are often facing huge veterinary bills. Charley's siblings treatment exceeded $12,000. Charley's 3 siblings died of a congenital heart defect with a possible underlying longseated fungal/parasitic or other infection complicting it. Unfortunately, they passed away so quickly while under emergency care that a final diagnositic assessment was unable to be completed. Although Charley is not currently exhibiting any of the symptoms of his siblings, we want to be proactive. Charley is a sweet little guy that had a rough start in life. He was neglected, skinny, full of worms and unsocialized. He was put into foster with one of his siblings to be able to adjust to living in a house with a loving family before he would be adopted out to his forever family. Unfortunately, his three siblings have already passed and he is the only survivor at this point.
Angelo
Angelo is a ten-year-old Pomeranian in Venice, FL, who needs $2,000 for cancer treatment and surgery.
Venice, FL • True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission
By looking at his sweet face and kind eyes, you'd never know Angelo is battling several serious health issues. Soon after True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission saved him, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. "A devastating diagnosis to receive for a rescue dog," Lisa L. from the group tells Waggle. "We ultimately made the difficult decision to treat Angelo with palliative care and commence a beautiful bucket list for him to complete during his finals days at our ranch." Then there was a twist of fate: A follow-up vet appointment and X-rays at Huntley Animal Care revealed the tumor in his chest was shrinking! But then Angelo was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his thigh. "We are gearing up to have this mass removed, and with your donations, we will be able to cover the costs of the surgery and follow-up care," Lisa says. "This little man is a fighter!" True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission specializes in speaking loud for the voiceless, saving seniors and animals from high kill shelters. Thank you for supporting Angelo and helping him get a second chance at life!

Tania
Tania is an eight-year-old Rat Terrier in Venice, FL, who needs $2,000 for tumor removal and dental surgery.
Venice, FL • True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission
Tania sat, suffering, hidden in the back of an animal shelter that was closed to the public. No one came to reclaim, adopt, or save her. The sweet dog with kind eyes had two huge tumors on her abdomen; one was the size of a tennis ball, the other the size of a soda bottle! When True and Faithful Pet Rescue heard about Tania, the nonprofit group immediately put a plan in action to get her out. "We could not walk past her at the shelter," Lisa L. with the group tells Waggle. "Her eyes pleaded for us to save her." The rescue picked up Tania and rushed her to Huntley Animal Care, where Dr. Bennett, DVM, discovered Tania also needed surgery to remove rotten teeth. "Tania's painful mouth was prohibiting her from eating," Lisa says. As soon as Tania was strong enough for surgery, the medical team went to work and removed 1.5 pounds of tumors from her mammary area and the teeth that were bothering her. Now she's recovering in a foster home and will be cleared for adoption soon. If you're interested in making Tania part of your family, True and Faithful Pet Rescue waives their adoption fee for seniors and helps transport pets to different locations in the U.S. Lisa says the group is thrilled to have saved Tania and hopes generous donors will help them raise the money to pay the medical bills for her care. "Tania deserves better, and better is what she got!"

Calvin
Calvin is a 10-year-old Dachshund in Miramar, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Miramar, FL
I got Calvin for Valentine’s Day when he was only three months old. He was very playful and a very happy puppy. I took him with me everywhere. We live 20 minutes away from the beach. He loves the dog beach and the dog park. He also loves to play with my children. Sometimes they even sleep together. Calvin goes outside four times a day his favorite part of the day when we go to the dog park around 6pm. He is very social. He checks out every dog in the park runs around with them for hours. At the park it seems like he forgets that he was paralyzed and he just follows his happy heart. 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 I am unemployed single mom with two little children. I do not want to put Calvin to sleep we have been through so much. We love him so much! We would like him to be healthy again. 💙 Calvin was paralyzed four years ago after jumping off the bed. He couldn’t even walk. With acupuncture treatment he started to walk after a few months. We were very happy! 👩👧👦🐶 Unfortunately, in May 2021 we found out that he has Perianal Gland Tumor at the Shennandoah Veterinary Hospital from Mark A. Leinen D.V.M. The surgery is $3,200. 💔 He makes me laugh when we go to the dog park because all day when I take him outside he walks so slow but, when he is around his friends he is running around like when he was a puppy. He loves when we massage his legs, scratch his neck and he pretty much wants us to take hime everywhere. He doesn’t like to be alone.

Velvet
Velvet is a 6-year-old Chihuahua in Des Moines , IA, who needs $1,400 for luxating patella and ccl repair.
Des Moines, IA
Velvet was just a baby when she came into my life. I just lost my grandpa and wanted something to care for again. She’s been my rock since day one and has made me stronger than I ever thought. Unfortunately one thing I was not told was how bad her knees were and how she would need surgery at just 6 years old. Surgery or euthanasia. Velvet loves to sleep under the blankets next to me or anywhere that has a blanket. She finds herself under the covers every single night no matter the temperature. Velvet has taken a huge liking to my roommate and loves to spend time sitting in her chair looking out the window at the outside world. Velvet loves car rides and loves treats. My dog means everything to me. I’ve paid a lot over the last few months. However, I lost my job due to an emergency ankle surgery of my own and have pressing financial need now. Please help velvet get back to her healthy self again. Velvet has really bad knees and needs surgery to correct the right one. This one has been out of socket for three days which is very painful. The treating veterinarian believes her ACL is also being damaged with every step she takes because her knee continues to pop. Surgery is the only thing that will fix this. The name of the hospital is Pet Medical center of Urbandale. Velvet has a fear of loud nosies or the vacuum cleaner. She likes to sit and watch tv with me after a longs day of work. She also loves to play with other animals. Velvet has these cute eyes that look almost through your soul. She loves to rub on feet that have no socks on just to make me laugh. She loves stuffed toys.

Crawford, TX
My sweet Sally came into our lives Jan 27, 2021....she came from two rescues that I rescued off the road...she has brought us so much joy...she is so mannered and smart....I just can't imagine my life without her. She loves to play and ride with me...she layers in the passenger se seat and looks at me like I'm her driver.....about two weeks ago Sally started being sick...I took her to Bar-N vet My sweet Sally loves to ride and play in the sunshine....she plays with my baby and her sibling. She is a ray of sunshine in my life...she brings me joy and gives me unconditional love...the feeling that she gives you when she greets me is just indescribable. Its love and joy that she brings when she meets you and it's like she is saying i love you lets play. I've raised three good kids by myself...started dating a man in 2006....in 2020 he started losing his memory and cannot work...he sometimes knows me..other times I'm not sure. Sally has what they call intussusception. It is where the intestines fold over each other and it stops the flow of natural body fluids. So as of now she is being fed baby food and pedilyte thru a squeeze syringe to be able to get some nutrients in her...she is so young....and full of life and gives me life Sally loves to talk back to me...she is a little on the sassy side...but she has a heart as big as Texas. She tilts her head when I'm talking to her and listens...she let's me cry and stays with me while I do...she constantly watches out for me and greets me when I get home....so it is like love opening the door.
Zeus
Zeus is a 12-year-old Corgi in Covington, LA, who needs $2,000 for radiation therapy cancer treatment.
Covington, LA
Our family dog was diagnosed with a cancer tumor and the cost of treatment was roughly $10,000 in total, this includes the CT Scan. I was told by a charitable organization that they would cover the cost of treatment and all of the paperwork from that organization was sent to LSU veterinary hospital along with the exact amount that they would pay for treatment but then they did not pay anything. He was there for both of my children since they were born and was like one of the children. He was the perfect pet and listened to all of the children and played with them like he understood everything that they would say to them. He would also sing to theme every time that one of them would get hurt or howl. I did not have any money for his treatment and ended up putting his CT scan on a credit card which I am still making payments on. LSU would not do a treatment until they had funds in place. So the original charity sent a letter stating that they would pay but then did not! He had a super bark just like the character Bolt on the Disney movie. He never bit anyone during his entire life and we the best dog to all of us. He never even go sick except for when this cancerous tumor developed on his nose and started to restrict his breathing. The report sated that it grew through his hard pallet so his diet has been mainly ice-cream and ramon noodles up until treatment..

Benito
Benito is a one-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Vacaville, CA, who needs $600 for the treatment of ulcers.
Vacaville, CA
Though Lisa H. and her husband have moved around during their three years of marriage as a military family, one thing has always remained the same: Their love for their constant companion and family member, Benito. "He has been with us from place to place," Lisa H. Benito's human mom tells Waggle. "Our Benito is like a child to us." The couple just got transferred to California and received horrible news; Benito developed ulcers in his digestive system. "He always runs in the kitchen when it is dinner time. Lately, he has not been able to eat due to some very painful ulcers. It has been so devastating to us to see him suffer this way," Lisa says. The veterinary team at Pawsh Place Veterinary Center and Boutique told Lisa the best course of action is to place a temporary feeding tube into Benito to take the stress off his digestive system and allow the ulcers heal-- after that happens, his prognosis is good! But Benito's medical bill is something the young couple serving their country can't afford. They need help paying for their adopted cat's medical bill. "This has been totally out of the blue expense for us," Lisa adds. "We are brand new to the area and do not have many friends. COVID-19 has made it very tough to socialize, and he has been truly our constant companion. No words can express how much we appreciate any help you can lend!"

Atlas
Atlas is a 0-year-old Husky Rottweiler in Miamk, FL, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Antibiotics and IV for Parvo.
Miamk, FL
Hi! I’m Atlas. I currently live my with my bigs sister and brother in Miami, FL. I’m a recent edition — so it’s been fun to play & bother them! I live in a house with lots of room to roam and I love traveling with mom to work & to photo shoots. I LOVE feeding times and am a big fan of baby blue! I’m a Husky Rottweiler — which is a really cool and intelligent mix! I love playing with my brother and sister even if they get bit annoyed. They always come back to me with kisses — so I know it’s not too much trouble for them. My favorite toy is a pink vibrating monster and my family jokes around calling me Fat-las because I LOVE feeding time. I’ll bring the bowl to mom and bark because I’m so excited every time! Atlas’ mom here. I’m moving to NOLA & leaving a situation of abuse. I really don’t have the money to spare. It’s breaking my heart to choose between the dog and my own welfare. I work as an independent contractor & COVID 19 really destroyed my industry. I was recently diagnosed with Parvo virus which really has mom worried. I had my first shots and if you can believe this timing — was scheduled Monday for the rest. I’ve lost my will to eat, which for me, is super bad. They say I need hospitalization for a couple of days and with that I have a 90% success rate! Luckily, mom caught it in less than 24 hours. My hospital is Doral Animal Centre in Mia My favorite spot in the house? Next to the AC. Wow! This South Florida. To me; everything is a toy including my moms hair. Sorry, hairdresser it’s mine to eat! I also like to take up the entire bed. I may be small but it’s my place! I’m trying to convince the whole house that this is Atlas’ world and they just live in it.

Delilah
Delilah is a 12-year-old Dachshund Mix in San Jose, CA, who needs $1,900 for testing and diagnostics.
San Jose, CA
I adopted Delilah from Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, CA. She was 3 months old, and bubbling with silliness and personality. I searched online for weeks, when I saw her face at ARF's website, I fell in love. I was at ARF the very next morning, an hour early. I was not leaving without this gorgeous little girl. Delilah is the centerpiece of our home - the value in our home, and the reason I work so hard. My son and I provide the care for her, and she's never gone a day without being told how much we love her. It's difficult to express love in a message, but the only way I can really provide how we feel for her is she is more than everything to us, she is our whole world. I am working full time, but the cost of living in the Silicon Valley is horrible. My son and I (and Delilah) rent a small bedroom in San Jose. I do not earn enough to even make it check to check. I work very hard for my family, but we suffer financially. We aren't certain what started it, but on early Thursday morning (May 13, 2021) she began having diarrhea. As the day progressed, we noticed blood spots in her stool. Since then, she's had bloody diarrhea several more times, and is now vomiting bile. We did not feed her last night, hoping it would subside. Update: As of 5/16, condition has worsened. She cries when trying to go potty. Delilah is very intelligent, and will report anything and everything to us. When she wants water, she scratches her bowl, when she's hungry - she is in our face barking at us. When Delilah wants something, she lets us know. She is also the silliest dog, and very loving. She loves snuggling, and getting her kisses. I love that cold wet nose on my face. She is every bit of my happiness.
