Peggy
Help give Peggy the happy ending she’s been waiting for.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
A few months ago, Peggy was hit by a car and left chained outside her owner’s home with an injured leg. For far too long, she knew nothing but pain, fear, and discomfort. Thankfully, CAMO Rescue was contacted and saved her. She has now successfully undergone surgery to amputate her injured leg and is finally getting the care, comfort, and love she deserves while recovering. Her journey is far from over, but for the first time in months, Peggy has hope. Now, they’re asking for your help to give Peggy the second chance she so desperately deserves. Donations will help cover her surgery, medical care, medications, recovery, and the continued care she needs as she heals. Please consider donating to Peggy’s recovery. Every dollar makes a difference, and every share helps us reach someone who may be able to help. After everything Peggy has been through, she deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and pain-free.

Big Boy
This gentle giant did not deserve the abuse he endured. Please show him he is loved!
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Welcome Big Boy to Camo Rescue! The President of CAMO Rescue said this is the kind of stuff that keeps her awake at night. This dog came close to being euthanized because nobody else stepped up for him. Even though CAMO is beyond capacity, they quickly intervened. She couldn’t stand the thought of him having led such a terrible life only to be euthanized. He was reluctant to get up, hypersalivating, not eating, and showing labored breathing. His chest radiographs were taken and reviewed by the DVM, confirming that he needed to leave immediately. He is now at the ER being treated for a Upper Respiratory Infection with a fever of 105! He arrived covered in up to 10–12 inches of matted hair caked with urine and feces. He required a 150-minute procedure under general anesthesia with three staff members working continuously to shave him down to the skin with surgical-grade blades. He suffered from severe skin breakdown, white discoloration, and scarring around his neck from months to years of continuous tension, ulceration, and exposure to waste. His tail skin was raw, bleeding, and irritated, and both ears were heavily infected. His nails were long, curled, and nearly piercing his paw pads. The DVM noted this was the absolute worst case of hair matting they had ever seen. The staff at the vets office said he is so sweet. CAMO Rescue promises to their best by him, and they urgenly need your help to care for this sweet boy who did not deserve the abuse he endured. He is now safe and receiving the proper medical treatment, but it is coming at a cost. If you are able to give, even a small amount, it would make a huge difference. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Milo, Teddy, Will, & Holly
Milo, Teddy, Will, & Holly urgently need your support.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
CAMO rescued four little puppies who didn’t understand why they were suddenly tossed outside like trash. Milo, Teddy, Holly, and tiny Will huddled together, their little bodies crawling with fleas, their bellies aching from parasites, their spirits dimmed by neglect. They took them to the vet. The puppies were severely anemic, and little Will was the most critical of them all. His gums were white, his heartbeat was weak, his tiny frame struggling under the weight of illness. He needed a blood transfusion to survive. Right now, all four of these puppies need _you_. If you’re able, CAMO Rescue is asking for donations to help cover the emergency care, transfusions, medications, and ongoing treatment that Milo, Teddy, Holly, and especially little Will desperately need. Every dollar helps CAMO continue saving the ones who would otherwise be lost.

Onyx
Onyx Deserves Better
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
This is Onyx. Onyx was recently found severely neglected and uncared for, for far too long. CAMO Rescue stepped right up and took this 1 lb guy in for some serious TLC. Underneath the fleas, hair loss, and eye infection, we know there is a sweet kitty who is begging to find his soft place to land. Though we haven’t known him long, we already see a personality shining through and we are hopeful you get to see it too. This course of treatment will not be instant, and several follow up appointments and medications will be necessary which is why we need your help! CAMO continues to take in severely neglected animals, and while we love doing it, it gets expensive. With your help Onyx can see clearly, live comfortably, and regrow the fur he should have. Thank you for allowing us to continue to say yes to furry friends like these.

Skye
Skye is a 2 year old Beagle in Murphy, TX, who needs $5,000 for Heat Stroke and severe head trauma.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Yesterday, we received an urgent call about two Beagles found collapsed in an open field in Denton, Texas, with no homes in sight. In the extreme heat, neither dog could stand or walk. They were suffering, alone, and fighting to survive. We immediately rushed both dogs to Mercy Animal Clinic for emergency medical care. The two girls have been named Sunny (tan) and Skye (tri-color). While Sunny is battling the effects of heat exhaustion and neglect, Skye is fighting for her life. Veterinarians discovered that Skye had suffered severe head trauma consistent with being struck by a hard object. She remains in the ICU, receiving IV medications, fluids, and around-the-clock care as her medical team does everything possible to save her. Both girls were covered in fleas and ticks and showed signs of prolonged suffering in the brutal Texas heat. Despite everything they have endured, Skye and Sunny remain deeply bonded. They are being kept together in the ICU for comfort, helping to reduce stress during this frightening and uncertain time. Through it all, Skye continues to fight. We are still searching for the dogs' owners and investigating the circumstances surrounding Skye's injuries. At this time, we have serious concerns that animal cruelty may be involved. Every emergency rescue stretches our resources, and Skye's care is already generating significant medical expenses. From diagnostics and intensive care to medications and ongoing treatment, the costs continue to climb. We are asking for your help on behalf of Skye, and for the sweet friend who refuses to leave her side. 7/31/26 Update: They've left the vet's office... and for the first time in a long time, they're learning what it means to be loved. Sunny and Skye are now settling into a temporary home, and every day brings a new milestone. These sweet Beagle girls are discovering a world they should have known all along: soft beds, gentle hands, kind words, and safety. They are learning potty training, positive reinforcement, and how to trust again. While Skye continues to face challenges from the severe head trauma she suffered, her resilience amazes us daily. Her progress is nothing short of inspiring. What we've learned since bringing them out of boarding: ❤️ Both girls adore other dogs. ❤️ They sleep cuddled together all night, providing comfort for one another. ❤️ They've finally learned that soft beds are meant to be slept on. At first, they would lie beside them because they didn't know any different. ❤️ They didn't know what treats were. Imagine that. ❤️ Going through a back door to go outside was frightening. ❤️ They used to sit by windows looking for a way out, but they have gradually learned they are safe now. ❤️ Most heartbreaking of all, both girls show signs of abuse. Yet despite everything they've endured, all they want is to please the people around them. Their story began because one compassionate person stopped. A mobile groomer who was driving between appointments when she spotted Sunny and Skye struggling to walk in the scorching heat. With no houses or businesses nearby, she immediately knew something was wrong. She stopped, got the girls into her air-conditioned vehicle to cool them down, and made the call that ultimately saved their lives. Because of the groomers kindness, these girls now have a chance at the future they deserve. And thank you to every single person who donated toward their emergency veterinary care. Your generosity helped make their recovery possible. You truly rock! As we watch Sunny and Skye learn simple things many dogs take for granted, we're reminded just how important your support is. No animal should ever suffer abuse. No animal should have to live in fear. Skye was born a healthy, happy Beagle. Today, she faces lifelong challenges because of the cruel actions of one person. Yet every day, she gets up, keeps trying, and shows us what courage looks like. Please continue to keep these girls in your thoughts. Their journey is far from over, but thanks to compassionate people like you, they now have hope. 🐾 Together, we are helping Sunny and Skye write a new chapter, one filled with love, healing, and second chances. ❤️

Peaches
Peaches is a 9 year old Poodle in Murphy, TX, who needs $1,000 for Broken Jaw in need of Dental Work and Antibiotics.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Peaches is a sweet senior Poodle mix whose life was given a second chance thanks to CAMO Dog Rescue. Rescued from the Arlington Animal Shelter just in time. When she arrived, it was discovered that she had suffered a broken jaw. The fracture on the lower right side of her mandible had healed on its own, but it healed crooked and became fused out of alignment. Thankfully, the bone is now solid, stable, and causes her no major issues. While she still has some remaining teeth that may eventually need to be removed, her veterinary team is taking a conservative approach. For now, they are focused on keeping her comfortable through dental cleanings and antibiotics while preserving as much support for her jaw as possible. Despite her past hardships, Peaches is in remarkably good health and has an incredible spirit. She is a funny, quirky girl who keeps everyone smiling with her unique personality. One of her favorite tricks is walking on her hind legs, a talent that never fails to delight anyone lucky enough to meet her. Peaches may be a senior, but she still has plenty of love, laughter, and charm to share. Her resilience, joyful nature, and sweet disposition make her a truly special dog who deserves a safe, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years.

Hobi
Hobi needs two major surgeries. Please help him!
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Hobi has a long road to recovery, but with your help, it's a road he won't have to walk alone. ❤️ This sweet pup has suffered a painful injury and now needs two major procedures: an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) and surgery to repair a fractured bone. Without these surgeries, every step is painful, and the life he deserves remains out of reach. CAMO Rescue's veterinary team is ready to give Hobi the care he needs, but they can't do it without your support. Your donation will help cover his surgery, pain medications, hospitalization, and rehabilitation so he can heal and learn to run, play, and enjoy life again. Maple Anne
Half of Maple Anne's tongue fell out of her mouth. Please give her a second chance!
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
She deserved more than to be given up on. This sweet senior girl, now named Maple Anne, was found huddled outside the door of a public works office and taken to Missouri City Animal Shelter. When shelter staff told CAMO Rescue she wasn't eating, they knew they had to give her a chance. As they prepared her for transport, an animal control officer took one more look and made a heartbreaking discovery. Her tongue was necrotic, and when they gently opened her mouth, a large piece of it detached. They asked if they should euthanize her. CAMO immediately said no. She deserves the opportunity to be evaluated, to have her pain treated, and to know that someone is willing to fight for her. She's now on her way to their veterinarian, where they'll learn what's causing this devastating condition and whether treatment is possible. They don't know what the outcome will be, but they couldn't let her story end without trying. CAMO Rescue is asking for your help to give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves. Your donation will help cover her emergency examination, diagnostics, pain management, and any treatment that may be available. Every dollar helps them continue saying "yes" to animals like Maple Anne, even when the road ahead is uncertain. Please consider donating today. Together, we can make sure this gentle soul knows compassion, comfort, and love—no matter what tomorrow brings. 7/16/26 Update The vet for CAMO Rescue is removing the necrotic part of her tongue today. Please support her in this awful situation.

Mayhem Mark
Mayhem Mark needs your help in his road to recovery.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
This sweet face has already been through more than any animal should. Rescued from the Rio Grande Valley with a broken jaw, this little survivor, now named Mayhem Mark, was in desperate need of help. Thanks to compassionate volunteers, CAMO Rescue was able to arrange transport to safety, get him cleaned up, and rush him to Netherland Veterinary Hospital, where he's now receiving X-rays and the specialized care he urgently needs. They are still learning the full extent of his injuries, but one thing is certain—his road to recovery has only just begun. Bailey Mae
Bailey Mae is a 10 year old French Bulldog in Murphy, TX, who needs $1,000 for Spay / Dental / Bloodwork and other medical needs.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
This sweet senior Frenchie girl wandered a neighborhood alone, surviving as a stray and searching for safety. When she came to CAMO, her condition told a heartbreaking story. She is painfully thin, appears to have suffered through multiple untreated ear infections, has nodules on her joints, open wounds, raw and itchy skin, and signs of having endured numerous litters throughout her life. Anyone familiar with short-faced breeds knows they are especially vulnerable to the Texas heat. These dogs simply cannot safely live outdoors and can quickly suffer heatstroke or worse. Bailey Mae was at serious risk. Thankfully, CAMO stepped in and brought her to safety, where she could finally rest in air conditioning, receive care, and know what it feels like to be protected. Bailey Mae is currently boarding at our veterinary clinic while we begin addressing her medical needs. She is not spayed and will need blood work, a dental procedure, and additional veterinary care to help her heal and become comfortable again. We don’t know everything she’s been through, but we do know she deserves better. She deserves kindness, comfort, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. If you would like to help with Bailey Mae’s boarding and veterinary expenses, your support would mean the world to her and to us. Every donation helps give this precious girl a second chance.

Leon
Help Leon adjust to life as a blind dog.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
No dog should have to navigate the world in complete darkness. This sweet little Poodle named Leon, estimated to be just 3 to 4 years old, was found wandering aimlessly in the scorching heat with no one looking for him. Confused, exhausted, and unable to see where he was going, he was simply trying to survive. A kindhearted person stopped to help and brought him to the veterinarian, where CAMO rescue learned the heartbreaking truth. One of his eyes was completely missing, and the other was severely infected. Tragically, he is blind in that eye as well. Judging by his condition, it's clear he has been neglected for a very long time. Despite everything he's endured, this gentle little boy has shown nothing but trust. Now it's our turn to show him that life can be kind. He'll need ongoing veterinary care, treatment for his painful eye infection, diagnostics, and the support he'll need to adjust to life as a blind dog. CAMO rescue needs your help to give him the future he deserves—a future filled with safety, comfort, and love instead of fear and neglect. If you're able, please consider making a donation today. Every dollar helps provide the medical care and rehabilitation this sweet boy urgently needs. After years of living in darkness, let's show him that there's still light in the world.

Jessi
Please help Jessi heal from a ruptured eye.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
CAMO Rescue recently welcomed Jessi. She was found alone, huddled against a fence at a local school, quietly suffering and hoping someone would notice her. Thankfully, someone did. When she arrived at their veterinarian, it became clear just how much pain she had been living with. Jessi has a ruptured eye that cannot be saved and will need surgery to have it removed. She also has multiple mammary masses that will require further evaluation, and it's suspected she has significant dental disease as well. Right now, she's too uncomfortable for a full oral examination, so relieving her pain is their first priority. Despite everything she's endured, Jessi has been gentle and trusting. She deserves the chance to heal, to live without constant pain, and to finally know what it feels like to be loved. We're asking for your help to make that possible. Your donation will go directly toward Jessi's surgery, diagnostics, medications, and continued medical care as they learn exactly what she needs. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us give Jessi the second chance she deserves. Together, we can help turn one of the hardest days of her life into the beginning of a brighter future.

Walter James
Walter James was running out of time
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
When CAMO Rescue learned that Walter James was on the euthanasia list at a local municipal shelter, they knew they couldn’t turn away. With no one else stepping forward to save him, CAMO stepped in and gave him the second chance he desperately deserved. Walter James arrived in terrible condition. He was severely matted, Heartworm positive, and suffering from a large ruptured mass on the side of his neck. Years of neglect have clearly taken a toll, and he is now facing a long road to recovery. The painful mass will require surgery, and his Heartworm treatment will involve extensive veterinary care and rest in the months ahead. Luckily, Walter James is finally safe. For the first time in a long time, he has people fighting for him and a chance at the life every dog deserves. CAMO Rescue is committed to giving Walter James the medical care he urgently needs, but they can’t do it alone. Donations will help cover the cost of his surgery, diagnostics, Heartworm treatment, medications, and ongoing veterinary care. Walter James was almost out of time. Now that he’s safe, let’s make sure he gets the chance to heal. ❤️🐾 7/16/26 Update Walter James had the tumor removed on his neck and seems to be doing well so far! Thank you for your support.

Lola & Puppies
Lola needed emergency surgery to save the lives of her puppies.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Lola's journey took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn when she needed an emergency spay to save her life and the lives of her puppies. Despite the efforts of her veterinary team, not every puppy could be saved. Four precious puppies survived, but sadly, one did not make it. While CAMO Rescue is grateful for the lives that were spared, the loss is still deeply felt. Lola is now recovering from surgery while caring for her newborn babies. She and her surviving puppies will need ongoing veterinary care, supplies, proper nutrition, and a safe place to heal and grow. Emergency medical procedures are costly, but saying yes to Lola was never a question. Now we are asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward Lola's medical expenses and the care of her puppies as they continue their journey. Please consider donating and sharing Lola's story. Together, we can help this brave mama and her babies move forward after such a difficult beginning. Thank you for giving Lola and her puppies hope for a brighter future.

Scrappy
Scrappy's life was almost cut short. Please show him his life matters.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
For the fourth day in a row, Camo Rescue stepped in to save a dog facing emergency euthanasia. This sweet boy is only about a year old, and his life was almost tragically cut short. He arrived injured, with wounds that suggest he may have been hit by a car or possibly suffered burns. Despite his pain and fear, he has remained incredibly gentle and loving. With no one coming for him and his time running out, euthanasia was his next stop. Thankfully, Camo Rescue said yes. Now, his journey to healing begins. He needs veterinary care, diagnostics, treatment, and time to recover from both his physical and emotional wounds. As a rescue, taking on emergency cases day after day comes at a significant cost, but leaving him behind was never an option. Please consider making a donation to help cover his medical expenses and give this young dog the second chance he so desperately deserves. Every dollar helps, and every share could bring him one step closer to a happy, healthy future. Thank you for helping us save lives when they need it most. 6/27/26 Update After his vet appointment this week, our vet confirmed our worst fears- that he was probably dragged. He will need FHO surgery after his skin heals. 7/25/26 Update Scrappy is doing much better, but he's still recovering from his skin infection and injury.

Parvo Puppies
Parvo puppies found in the woods need you.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Our hearts are breaking. Even though we are already stretched beyond capacity, we simply couldn't say no to five abandoned puppies fighting for their lives. These babies were found dumped in the woods, sick with Parvo, alongside the bodies of three deceased siblings. If not for a persistent dog who kept barking and leading their owner back into the woods, these puppies may never have been found in time. The rescue that discovered them desperately wanted to help but could not afford the extensive veterinary care they need. While we are also struggling financially, we knew we had to step in and give these puppies a chance. Right now, they are on their way to our veterinarian for emergency Parvo treatment, including monoclonal antibody therapy—a lifesaving treatment that comes with a significant cost. Their medical bills will add up quickly, but we refuse to let money be the reason they don't get the care they deserve. These puppies have already lost so much. They have lost their siblings, their safety, and the people who should have protected them. Now they need us. Please consider making a donation to help cover their emergency medical care. Every dollar gives these puppies a better chance to survive, recover, and one day find the loving homes they deserve. Thank you for helping us fight for these little lives.

6 Shih Tzus
6 senior Shih Tzus urgently need your help.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
CAMO welcomed these six adorable senior Shih Tzus to their rescue. Their story is a heartbreaking one. Their owner had reached a point where she could no longer care for them—or even for herself. As a result, these sweet seniors have been living in deplorable conditions. They are painfully itchy, suffering from skin infections, and battling severe dental disease that has likely caused discomfort for a very long time. Sadly, because the shelter is full and has no space for owner surrenders, these dogs were facing euthanasia. Many people don't realize that owner-surrendered pets can be euthanized immediately, as they are not protected by the same stray hold period required for lost animals. Thankfully, the shelter reached out, and CAMO Rescue was able to step in before it was too late. Now safe in their care, these six precious dogs have a chance at the life they deserve. But they all need extensive veterinary care, including dental procedures, heartworm testing, bloodwork, spay/neuter surgeries, medications, and treatment for their skin conditions. The cost of caring for six senior dogs is significant, and they cannot do it alone. They are asking for donations to help provide the medical care these cuties desperately need and deserve. Every dollar brings them one step closer to comfort, health, and a future filled with love. Thank you for helping us give these deserving seniors the second chance they almost didn't get.

Dolly
Be a part of Dolly's recovery journey.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
When Dolly was brought to CAMO, they were told she had been hit by a car. The extent of her injuries were heartbreaking. She arrived unable to bear weight on her left rear leg, with deep open wounds on her leg and paw, additional wounds on her right rear paw, and painful skin issues affecting her lower back. As their veterinary team cleaned and treated her injuries, they hoped the damage wasn't as severe as it appeared. Unfortunately, X-rays revealed devastating injuries: multiple fractures on both sides of her pelvis. Despite the pain she must be feeling, this sweet dog continues to fight. For now, her best chance at healing is strict crate confinement, pain management, antibiotics, wound care, and ongoing veterinary monitoring. Her road to recovery will be long, and the medical costs are already adding up. We are asking for donations to help cover her treatment, medications, diagnostics, and continued care. Every dollar helps give this deserving dog the chance to heal, recover, and one day walk comfortably again. If you are able, please consider donating. And if you can't donate, sharing his story could help us reach someone who can. Thank you for being part of Dolly's journey to recovery.

Liam
Liam will likely need his leg amputated. Can you please help?
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Liam was out of time. This sweet boy was sitting on the euthanasia list at Harris County Animal Shelter, and no one had stepped forward to help. As the clock ran down, CAMO Rescue knew they couldn't leave him behind. Now safe in their care, Liam's journey is just beginning—but the road ahead is a difficult one. His leg is badly broken, and their veterinary team believes he will likely need an emergency amputation to give him the best chance at a pain-free life. Despite everything he's endured, Liam remains gentle and deserving of the second chance he almost never got. We are asking for donations to help cover Liam's emergency medical care and surgery. This type of procedure and care comes at no small cost. Every dollar brings him one step closer to healing and the future he deserves. Please consider donating and sharing Liam's story. Together, we can show him that his life is worth fighting for.

Daisy
Please help Daisy to get surgery to fix her broken leg.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
We saved Daisy from euthanasia at the Dallas Animal Shelter in the final minutes before closing. Daisy is a 9‑year‑old shepherd mix who has endured more than any dog should. She was hit by a car, suffered a broken leg, and experienced significant trauma. She was originally adopted from another rescue, but due to her medical condition and financial limitations, they cannot take her back. No owner has come forward. She has no one — except us. She’s receiving pain management and medication for neurological issues. She is trying so hard to fight. Daisy’s leg cannot heal on its own. Because of her head trauma, she is not a safe candidate for amputation at this time. To save her leg — and give her the best chance at a real future — she needs an orthopedic surgeon. The estimated cost is $5,000, and the surgery must happen ASAP. If we cannot raise the funds, amputation will be the only option. After everything she’s survived, Daisy deserves better than that. She’s not the fluffy, photogenic puppy that gets thousands of shares. She’s a 30‑pound, older black dog who has been overlooked her entire life. But she is gentle, resilient, and so deserving of a second chance. Please help us save her leg — and her life. 5/28/26 Update: From Tragedy to Hope: Daisy’s Surgery Is Just Days Away Daisy was seen at Mercy Animal Clinic for a senior blood panel, a neurological evaluation after her accident, and to have her injured leg re-examined and recast. This sweet girl has already survived more than most dogs ever will. Not only did she make it through being hit by a car, but we also learned she is high‑positive for heartworms. Daisy’s past hasn’t been kind to her. She was abandoned in Houston when she needed her people the most, then taken in by a local rescue and eventually adopted out. At some point her adopters moved to the Dallas area, and somewhere along the way Daisy once again found herself alone. It’s easy to say she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time when she was struck by a car — but that moment is also what ultimately brought her to CAMO Rescue, where she finally has a real chance at healing. The truth is, without intervention, Daisy was a dead‑dog‑walking. But her spirit never gave up. Her soul is golden, gentle, and resilient, and with time she will learn to trust humans again. Her medical needs will easily reach the $5k mark, and we are preparing to move forward with her surgery to repair her leg within the next couple of days so she can finally begin her true recovery. During her visit yesterday, Daisy was pampered as much as she could tolerate while her cast was changed. Even after everything she’s endured, she remains soft, patient, and hopeful. Daisy’s story is shifting — from survival to safety, from abandonment to love, and from pain to the promise of a better life. 6/1/26 Update: Surgery Success, New Challenges Ahead — Daisy Still Needs Support Sweet Daisy made it through surgery and it was a huge success. Her leg looks incredible, and even though she faced some tough moments afterward, this brave girl is now back home resting safely. We’ll be watching over her closely tonight as she begins her long journey toward healing. ❤️🩹 Daisy is still fighting some big battles — her white blood cell count is high, so she’s on antibiotics, and she’s also heartworm positive, which we’re actively treating. She has more on her plate than any dog should, yet she continues to show nothing but courage and heart. This little girl is truly one of the bravest souls we’ve ever met, and she deserves every chance at a healthy, pain‑free life. 6/14/26 Update Daisy is finally getting the love, comfort, and care she has always deserved in her foster home. Every day, she continues to heal, and we're hopeful that her neurological challenges are now behind her. She is a gentle, quiet soul who finds so much joy in simply being outside and discovering what it means to be loved. We believe Daisy spent much of her life as an outdoor dog, with very little attention or affection. Because of that, even the simplest acts of kindness are still new and precious to her. Daisy is truly a miracle. Despite everything she has been through, she remains sweet, trusting, and full of hope. She has never known the security of a permanent, loving home—a place where she was cherished as family. But when she found her way to this rescue, her life began to change. Now, Daisy's story is one of healing, second chances, and the promise of a brighter future. She deserves a family who will show her every day just how special she is and give her the love she's been waiting for her entire life. ❤️🐾 6/27/26 Update Do you remember Daisy—the sweet girl who was hit by a car, suffered neurological injuries, and had a broken front leg? Today, we're so happy to share that Daisy has made an incredible recovery. Thanks to the love and dedication of her foster family, she has healed in more ways than one. She is thriving, learning to trust again, and enjoying all the love and pampering she truly deserves. Now Daisy is ready for her next chapter—a forever home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life. Daisy is approximately 7 years old, weighs 30 pounds, and has so much love left to give. She is still heartworm positive, but that doesn't define her. She deserves a family who will see the beautiful, resilient soul she is and love her unconditionally. Please help us share Daisy's story. The perfect family may be just one share away. ❤️

Trooper Little
Trooper Little was left to fend for himself despite suffering from an injured eye.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Trooper Little’s story almost ended before it ever truly began. Late one night on a dark rural road, a Good Samaritan spotted what they thought was a skunk lying near the roadside. Something made them stop anyway—and that decision changed everything for a tiny 3-month-old puppy weighing just 6.6 pounds. Curled up alone in the darkness was Trooper Little. This sweet little boy had likely been dumped, possibly by a breeder, left to fend for himself despite suffering from a painful, injured eye that now requires surgery. Frightened, vulnerable, and far too small to survive on his own, Trooper Little was incredibly lucky someone chose compassion over driving past. Now safe in rescue, Trooper Little is finally getting the second chance every puppy deserves. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains gentle, loving, and full of hope. He still has a long road ahead with surgery and recovery, but he’s no longer alone—and we’re so grateful he was found in time. If you can make a donation of any amount to his treatment and recovery, it would be so greatly appreciated. 6/23/26 Update Thank you to everyone who donated to and supported Trooper Little. He has made a great recovery, and we are so happy to share that he has been adopted into his loving forever home.

Wilbur
Senior Dog Wilbur Needs To Feel Safe Again
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Wilbur. ❤️ This tiny 3.5-pound blind Yorkie was found wandering the streets desperately in need of help. No little dog in his condition should ever have been out there trying to survive on his own. Now safe with CAMO Rescue, Wilbur is receiving treatment for a painful urinary tract infection and was found covered in fleas, another heartbreaking sign of neglect and hardship. Despite everything he’s endured, Wilbur is gentle and trusting. Senior and special-needs dogs like Wilbur are among the most vulnerable. Being blind makes the world frightening enough, but trying to navigate it alone while sick and neglected is unimaginable. CAMO is committed to giving Wilbur the medical care, comfort, and love he deserves, but we cannot do it without your help. Please consider donating to support Wilbur’s veterinary care and recovery. Every dollar, share, and kind word helps this tiny boy leave his painful past behind and finally experience the safety every dog deserves. ❤️

Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Edna. 💔 This tiny 4-pound Yorkie was found alone on the streets, neglected and exhausted. Now safe with CAMO Rescue, we are learning just how much this little senior girl has endured. She deserves comfort, pain relief, full meals, soft blankets, and the dignity of being cherished for however much time she has left. Please help us give Edna the medical care she desperately needs. Every donation, share, and kind word helps this fragile little girl finally experience safety and love. ❤️

Eziah
Please help Eziah recover from severe abuse.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Welcome to Eziah CAMO Rescue. For quite some time, Eziah had been surviving alone on the streets. He was so frightened and difficult to approach that he ultimately had to be safely darted in order to bring him to safety. By the time he arrived, his fur was severely matted down to the skin, causing obvious discomfort and hiding just how much neglect he had endured. As if that weren’t enough, Eziah also tested positive for heartworm disease. Now, for the first time in a long time, he is safe. He has a warm place to rest, food in his belly, and a team determined to help him heal. But his recovery will not be easy. Eziah will need extensive grooming, veterinary care, heartworm treatment, and ongoing support as he learns what it means to trust again. We are asking for donations to help cover Eziah’s medical expenses and care. Every contribution helps give this sweet boy a second chance at the healthy, comfortable life he deserves. Thank you for supporting CAMO Rescue and helping dogs like Eziah find hope again.

4 Dachshunds
4 Dachshunds rescued from hoarding situation--CAMO needs your help!
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
More than 40 Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes are trapped in a heartbreaking hoarding situation in San Jacinto County, Texas. Adult dogs, pregnant mothers, and newborn puppies are all crowded together on a tiny piece of property, living in rapidly deteriorating conditions. With uncontrolled breeding, overcrowding, and growing concerns about disease, malnutrition, and neglect, time is running out for these dogs. When the urgent plea for help was posted, CAMO Rescue immediately answered the call. Despite already being stretched thin, CAMO is taking in four of the dogs to give them a chance at safety, medical care, and a future beyond the chaos they’ve known. These dogs will need vaccinations, exams, proper nutrition, and time to decompress and learn what life outside overcrowding looks like. But taking in emergency cases like this comes with significant costs, and rescues cannot do it alone. We are asking for donations to help cover the care of the four dogs CAMO is bringing into rescue. Every dollar will go directly toward medical care, supplies, food, and rehabilitation as they begin their journey toward healing. Even helping a few dogs can change everything for them. Thank you for helping CAMO step in when these dogs needed it most.

Carlitos
Help Relieve Carlitos' Pain
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Carlitos was recently surrendered to CAMO, and he’s already been to the vet. This little guy is so uncomfortable and has clearly been neglected for many years. His owner is battling cancer and could no longer care for him, so we knew someone needed to step in. Carlitos has tumors filling his ears, and both ear canals are completely sealed. He will likely need double TECA surgeries, which are estimated at about $3,000 per ear. We can't quite tell how long Carlitos has been living like this, but it's been far too long and he needs relief now. He also has KCS (dry eye), meaning his eyes produce no tears at all. He will need lifelong medication to keep him comfortable. Carlitos is safe now, and we want to give him the care he’s gone without for far too long. But his medical needs will be extensive, and we urgently need help covering his treatment costs. Once we can fully vet all of his conditions, we can get him into his forever home where he will experience love and learn to trust. Please consider donating, sharing, or supporting Carlitos as he begins his second chance.

23 dogs
Please help CAMO take in 23 dogs from one home.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
CAMO Rescue needs your help. A woman reached out after losing her home. She told them she had 21 dogs and nowhere for them to go. Other shelters had already turned her away. When CAMO arrived, they found out there were actually 23--she didn't know how many there were. Some had nails so overgrown they were curling into their paw pads. A few are battling painful skin conditions. They are inbred, undersocialized, and confused about the world—but they are friendly. They want to trust. They want comfort. They just haven’t been shown how yet. Now they are safe, but safety is only the first step. Twenty-three dogs means twenty-three sets of vaccinations, exams, deworming, flea prevention, and ongoing care. The medical needs alone are significant, and this is an expense they were not prepared for. If you can help at all cover the cost of getting these dogs healthy and ready for new beginnings, please consider donating. Any amount makes a tremendous difference when you multiply it by 23 lives depending on us. Thank you for your continued love and support.

Ziggy Azalea
Please help this sweetie with a possible cancerous mass 💛
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
She had hours left. Her name was already on the euthanasia list at the San Antonio shelter. A young dog—just 3 to 4 years old—with her whole life still ahead of her. But because of a concerning mass and no one stepping forward, her time was running out. Thankfully, CAMO rescue couldn’t look away. Now she’s safe. And the first thing they noticed? She is unbelievably sweet. Gentle eyes. Soft tail wags. The kind of dog who leans into you like she’s known you forever. It’s hard to imagine how close she came to never getting this second chance. But her fight isn’t over. CAMO is urgently working to have the mass evaluated and tested. They are hoping the mass isn't cancerous. The diagnostics, exams, and possible surgery are already adding up, and they need help to cover her medical care. She is so young. She deserves years of comfort, safety, and love—not fear and uncertainty. If you can, please consider donating toward her medical expenses. Every dollar brings them closer to answers—and closer to giving this sweet girl the healthy future she deserves. Her second chance depends on all of us. Thank you. 6/15/26 Update Her tumor is too big to do surgery on so we’re going to do chemotherapy. She’ll get a pill three days a week along with Prednisone and once the tumor begins to shrink they can cut back on how often she gets the chemo pill. 6/20/26 Update Thank you to everyone who showed this sweetie love and support on her long healing journey. She is still receiving chemo, but we are grateful that it's really helping with the swelling. We are hopeful she will make a full recovery.

Kuma
Kuma Was Abandoned Once, Never Again
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
CAMO officially took Kuma into rescue after he was found wandering alone at the beginning of May. Thankfully, he was microchipped, and his owners were contacted. But what followed was heartbreaking. Kuma had apparently been missing for 11 days, yet neither owner realized he was gone or had made any effort to search for him. During conversations about reclaiming him, the concern seemed focused more on inconvenience and distance than on Kuma’s condition or wellbeing. And what a condition he was in… Kuma arrived covered in fleas, infested with worms, suffering from an infected wound on his nose, pale gums, and painful grade 2 dental disease. Even in sucha deploarable condition, Kuma is still gentle, loving, and deserving of so much better. No dog should have to survive alone on the streets while battling infection, parasites, and neglect. CAMO stepped in because Kuma deserved a chance to finally know safety and compassion. But cases like Kuma’s come with significant expenses, and CAMO desperately needs support to continue helping dogs like him. Please consider donating toward Kuma’s medical treatment and recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps give this sweet boy the healthy and happy future he has always deserved. 💕

Aurelia
Aurelia, The Golden One, Urgently Needs You
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Last week, this precious little dog was found on the side of the road in Cleveland, TX after being hit by a car. She couldn’t walk, but somehow she was still smiling as if she knew help had finally come. Her story was shared for hours while rescuers hoped someone could step in, but shelters and rescues everywhere are overwhelmed with dogs, medical cases, and limited resources. CAMO is too, but they had to say "Yes". Thanks to an incredible volunteer, Aurelia was rushed to the emergency vet where X-rays confirmed a fractured spine. While she is thankfully not in pain, she will likely never walk again and will become a cart dog. Despite this, Aurelia remains sweet, happy, and full of life. She is only about 2 years old, covered in fleas, battling a skin infection, and desperately needing care. CAMO was not financially prepared for another major medical case, but there was no way this little girl could be left behind. Please consider donating to help Aurelia receive the medical care, rehabilitation, supplies, and future wheelchair she will need to thrive. Every single dollar gives this deserving girl a chance at a safe, happy life filled with love. 💕

Juju Beans
Tiny Juju Beans is fighting for her life
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
This sweet puppy should be worrying about toys, naps, and cuddles — not battling Parvo in a hospital cage. But right now, Juju Beans is sick and depending on intensive veterinary care to survive. In just a short time, her medical expenses have already climbed past $1,300 for emergency testing, fluids, medications, and lifesaving treatment. And sadly, the bills continue to grow. CAMO Rescue has taken in case after case this year, with an overwhelming number of critically ill dogs needing urgent medical care. They continue saying yes because these animals deserve a chance, but the financial strain is becoming incredibly difficult to sustain. Juju Beans is still fighting. She still has hope. But she needs people willing to stand behind her while she heals. If you can donate toward Juju Beans’ care, no amount is too small. Every dollar helps CAMO Rescue continue lifesaving work for puppies like her who have nowhere else to turn.

Piglet
Help sweet Piglet thrive into adulthood.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
CAMO Rescue was recently contacted by a fellow rescue about a tiny Cairn Terrier who unexpectedly came into their care with an apparent injury. This sweet little girl—estimated to be just three months old—may have damage to her knee. While she is still able to walk and even run around, the vet believes there is an underlying issue that needs further evaluation to ensure it doesn’t worsen as she grows. At such a young age, early intervention is critical. CAMO Rescue has stepped in to make sure she receives the diagnostics and medical attention needed to fully understand what’s going on with her knee—and to rule out any additional concerns. This precious puppy, now lovingly nicknamed Piglet, deserves the chance to grow up strong, comfortable, and pain-free. We are asking for help to cover the cost of her veterinary care. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her exams, imaging, and treatment plan. Please consider supporting CAMO Rescue in giving Piglet the healthy future every puppy deserves. 5/22/26 Update It turns out her underlying knee issue is a torn ACL. Thank you for your support as CAMO gets her the best treatment and care. 7/13/26 Update Thank you to everyone who supported this little sweetie through her healing journey. Thanks to you, Piglet has made a full recovery and is now listed for adoption. She is ready to find her forever home.

5 Yorkies
Help these 5 yorkies know they're not alone.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
These 5 little Yorkies were abandoned in a car. Law enforcement and animal control were called, and the dogs are now safe with CAMO Rescue. Taking in five unvetted dogs is a big hit for this rescue, which is dealing with so many animals. None were spayed or neutered. So they all received spay/neuter, dental cleanings, bloodwork for the senior heartworm, and fecal testing. Every dog had an infection due to wearing diapers 24/7 and is now on antibiotics. The vet bills, including boarding, are about $3,000~$4000. If you would like to help, a donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping these sweet babies who did not deserve this kind of treatment.

Pup
15 years old and set to die at a high kill shelter
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
At fifteen years old, she was out of time at a high-kill shelter. Eliza—now lovingly called Pup—was sitting on the euthanasia list. At the end of the day, CAMO received the call: no one had stepped forward. No interest. No plan. Just a senior dog waiting for her final moments. So, of course, they said yes. Now safe with CAMO Rescue, Pup is finally off that list—but her fight is far from over. She is a medical heartbreak. She has three separate masses: a large, hard mass on her left hip, another on her right hip, and one along her mammary chain on her chest. Her ears are painful, her teeth are in poor condition, and at fifteen years old, her body has clearly been through more than it ever should have. And yet, she is here. Still gentle. Still deserving. Pup needs comfort, care, and a chance to feel safe for however much time she has left. She will need extensive veterinary attention and a committed foster willing to give her love during this chapter of her life. We are asking for donations to help cover her medical care, diagnostics, and treatment. Senior dogs like Pup are so often overlooked, but they deserve dignity, relief from pain, and to know that they mattered. If you can help, please consider donating. Your support gives this fifteen-year-old girl something she almost lost—hope and love.

Grace Emerson
Grace Emerson’s Condition was Preventable: Help Us Help Her
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Grace Emerson was close to losing her life. This tiny poodle mix was surrendered to a shelter to be euthanized because she was “sick.” But what was really happening was worse than they could have imagined. Grace had never been spayed and was suffering from pyometra, a severe, life-threatening infection of the uterus. Left untreated, pyometra can turn fatal in just days. In Grace’s case, the infection had progressed so far that her uterus was dangerously enlarged—one of the worst her vet had seen in a dog her size. Because of CAMO Rescue, Grace got that chance. She was rushed to the ER for emergency surgery just in time. Today, she’s home. She’s snuggled up and finally cared for. But her fight isn’t over. Grace still needs ongoing medical care, monitoring, and support as she heals from both surgery and the neglect she endured. Pyometra is preventable. Spaying saves lives. Please consider donating to CAMO Rescue so they can continue stepping in for dogs like Grace—dogs who are failed by the people meant to protect them.

Mayo
Mayo is a 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Magnolia, TX, who needs $3,500 for Si luxation surgery.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
One of the hardest realities in rescue is knowing a dog is in pain. Mayo, a 3-year-old Yorkie, didn’t deserve what happened to him. A piece of exercise equipment fell on him, leaving him with a broken pelvis and a painful SI luxation. Currently, he’s at the vet receiving pain management, waiting for the moment he can finally get the surgery he desperately needs. CAMO Rescue stepped in because walking away wasn’t an option. Even with so many ongoing medical cases, they couldn’t ignore Mayo’s suffering. He deserves relief and a chance to heal. Doctor is ready to perform the surgery that can change Mayo’s life, but the cost is $3,700. For a rescue already stretched thin, that’s a heavy burden. We’re asking for your help. Your donation can bring Mayo closer to a pain-free life. And if you’re unable to give, sharing his story can make all the difference. Together, we can make sure Mayo gets the care he needs and the future he deserves.

Neville
Help Parvo Positive Neville Get a Chance at Life
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
One of the scariest words a pet parent can hear is parvovirus. Parvo is a fast-moving, aggressive illness that typically affects unvaccinated puppies. When caught early, intensive, around-the-clock treatment can give these little ones a strong chance at survival. Without it, their chances drop dramatically. Thankfully, CAMO Rescue was able to act quickly when Neville was diagnosed. This former stray puppy is now receiving constant care, medications, and close monitoring. His future is looking so much brighter. Lifesaving care like this comes at a cost. Treatments for parvo add up quickly, and CAMO Rescue takes on many critical cases just like Neville’s. They rely on compassionate supporters to continue saying “yes” to puppies who need urgent help. Please consider making a donation and sharing Neville’s story. Your support doesn’t just help him continue his recovery, it gives other vulnerable dogs the same chance at life, love, and a safe future.

Brie Anne
Help Brie Anne Heal After Unthinkable Trauma
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Brie Anne’s story is one no animal should ever have to endure. This sweet little girl was found abandoned on a dead-end street in the Rio Grande Valley with a devastating injury. She’s missing a large section of fur and skin on her back, and has bite wounds on her neck and belly. It’s unclear whether she was attacked by another animal or intentionally harmed, but what we do know is that she has suffered greatly. Despite everything, Brie Anne is still so gentle and loving. She was rushed to an emergency vet in McAllen, TX where her wounds were cleaned, and she received antibiotics and critical care. She has been running a fever, underweight, and dehydrated, but she is fighting, and with proper care, she has a real chance at recovery. Now in the care of CAMO Rescue, Brie Anne is receiving daily bandage changes, pain management, and antibiotics. Once the risk of infection is under control, she will need surgery to close her wound. This needs this done weekly for 6-8 weeks, at a cost of $300 per week! Her medical care, including ongoing treatment and upcoming surgery, will be significant. Every dollar and every share makes a difference. Let’s come together to give Brie Anne the second chance she deserves! 4/15/26 Update Her wound is too big to close surgically so we are using a new technique! Tilapia skin!! Tilapia skin grafts can promote healing in various skin wounds, including large bite wounds and chronic non-healing injuries. The skin is rich in moisture and collagen, which aids in epithelialization and accelerates the healing process. To be effective, this needs this done weekly for 6-8 weeks. Please continue sending warm wishes to Brie Anne and, if you're able, consider donating to her care. Every dollar is greatly appreciated! 5/22/26 Update After six weeks of intensive skin grafts using tilapia skin, and thousands of dollars she is on her way to completely healing and will be available for adoption soon. 6/24/26 Update We are so grateful to all the love and support that was shown to Brie Ann. Thanks to you, she has healed after her fish skin therapy. She is on to enjoying life and finding her forever home soon.

Cornflake
Sickly & Struggling, But Still Fighting HARD—Baby Cornflake Needs a Village
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Cornflake. This tiny puppy was found running alongside another pup, Bessie Bell, both alone and depending on someone to stop and care. Thanks to CAMO Rescue, they are now safe. But Cornflake is facing a heartbreaking battle. He has tested positive for parvovirus. Parvo is one of the most aggressive and deadly viruses a puppy can face. It attacks their immune system and digestive tract, causing severe dehydration, weakness, and, without intensive treatment, it can be fatal. Puppies like Cornflake need round-the-clock care, fluids, medications, and constant monitoring just to have a chance. Right now, he is fighting. CAMO Rescue is doing everything possible to give him that chance but parvo treatment is intensive and costly. If you can help, your donation will go directly toward Cornflake’s lifesaving care including his hospitalization, medications, and the support he needs to keep going. He didn’t deserve to be abandoned. He deserves a chance to survive. Please consider donating or sharing to help Cornflake fight. 💛 6/20/26 Update Thanks to everyone who supported sweet Cornflake on her healing journey. We are so grateful that she has made a full recovery and has now been adopted into her forever home. Thank you!

Scrump
Poor Scrump Urgently Needs Relief
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Scrump is only 6 years old, but the condition he’s in tells a much harder story. Adopted from a shelter near Austin just a year ago, he should have known comfort, healing, and care. Instead, he’s arrived in nearly the same state, if not worse. Scrump has endured so much: both of his eyes had to be removed, likely due to untreated infections. His ears are still severely infected and painful, his skin is inflamed and damaged, and even his nails had grown into his paw pads, causing infection. He’s now on antibiotics and receiving medicated baths, finally getting some relief. But his journey is far from over. Scrump needs specialized care, including a veterinary dermatologist, to truly begin healing. Despite everything, he’s here. And that all that matters. Camo Dog Rescue stepped in because Scrump deserves more than survival—he deserves comfort and a chance to feel good again. His recovery will take time, patience, and resources. If you’re able to help, your donation will go directly toward his medical care and ongoing treatment. Even small support can help change the course of Scrump’s life.

Leia
Leia is a 5 year old Poodle in Murphy, TX, who needs $2,000 for X rays and broken bone repair.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Every now and then, a story comes along that stops us in our tracks. Leia is one of those stories. Leia recently came into the care of CAMO Rescue, and while she’s only about five years old, the life she’s endured is something no animal should ever experience. She flinches at gentle touch and carries the quiet fear of someone who has known pain far too often. When she arrived, her condition was heartbreaking. She had raw paw pads on all four feet, a severe ear infection, and most devastating of all, her toenails are gone, likely removed intentionally. Every step she takes is painful and she’ll need specialized medical care to treat this. Even our experienced veterinarian, who has seen so much, was brought to tears. But Leia is still here. Still fighting. And with the right care, there is hope. We are now consulting with an orthopedic specialist to explore surgery that could ease her pain and give her the comfort she deserves. This is just the beginning of a long road to healing. We’re asking for your help. Your donation will go directly toward Leia’s medical care, treatment, and recovery. More importantly, it will help give her something she hasn’t known enough of: a chance at a better life. If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing Leia’s story. Together, we can show her that the world can be kind. 8/15/26 Update Thanks to your support, Leia is well on her way to recovery. This wouldn't have been possible without the love and care you showed this sweet girl. She can now live the rest of her life surrounded by lots of care and love.

Margaret May
Margaret May is Too Young to Have Been Through All She Has
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
This 2-year-old poodle was found wandering in the rain early this morning in heartbreaking condition. Matted, tired, and clearly neglected, Margaret May had likely been struggling on her own for far too long. Sadly, we suspect she may have been dumped, possibly because the cost of grooming and feeding became too much. Despite everything she’s been through, Margaret May is slowly showing us her gentle spirit. She’s a little weary of new people at first, which is understandable after her ordeal, but once she realizes she’s safe, she relaxes and allows her sweet personality to shine. Margaret May needs medical care to start her new life. She has a cherry eye that will require treatment and she also needs a dental procedure. With proper care, patience, and love, we know she will blossom into the beautiful, happy dog she was always meant to be. CAMO Rescue has stepped in to give Margaret May the second chance she deserves. But we can’t do it without your help. Your donations will go directly toward her veterinary care, grooming, and rehabilitation as she prepares for a loving forever home. Please consider donating to help Margaret May begin her journey to a better life. Every contribution makes a difference for this deserving girl. 💗🐩

Honey Boo
Honey Boo Needs YOUR Help
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Honey Boo, a sweet 10-year-old Schnauzer mix whose life almost ended before it truly had a chance to be saved. Honey Boo was sitting on the euthanasia list at BARC. Injured. In pain. Overlooked. No one stepped up for him… until CAMO Rescue did. Because that’s what we do. Right now, Honey Boo is at our veterinarian undergoing an MRI, trying to determine what’s causing the severe issues with his back and pelvis. The MRI alone will cost $2,500, and this does not include the surgery he will need. But we couldn’t leave him behind. Honey Boo deserves comfort. He deserves care. He deserves a chance to walk without pain again. And we cannot do this without you. Please consider donating to help cover Honey Boo’s medical care. Every dollar helps us continue saving dogs just like him.

Hank Daniels
Hank Needs Us Like Never Before
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Hank Daniels. This five year old boy had been wandering around a local neighborhood, scared, hungry, and alone likely for several days. We suspect his former owner dumped him and he was then left to fend for himself. After days of aimless wandering, a Good Samaritan witnessed this poor boy get hit by a car. Lucky for Hank, this kind person stepped up and took him to get help. Enter CAMO Rescue. We couldn’t bear to watch this helpless pup go into the county shelter so we’re getting him the help he needs. We took Hank to the vet as soon as possible where they took x rays and gave us a prognosis. What did they find? Hind limb fractures, femoral fracture with butterfly fragment and L lateral condylar, and a tibial fracture. Hank needed surgery asap. This poor boy has already lived a life of neglect, we can’t stand to see him in pain too. With so many broken bones and impending injuries, this surgery will be expensive. We need generous donors like you to help us cover the costs of Hank’s healing. We can do this, but not without you.

Hope Brave
Hope Brave: She’s Safe. Now Let’s Make Her Comfortable
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Last night, a local neighbor received calls and texts about a dog someone thought might be her missing foster, Lottie. She dropped everything, grabbed her microchip scanner, and headed to the address. When she walked in and saw her, she immediately knew it wasn’t Lottie. But her heart still sank. That senior girl was lying in a crate. She was shaking, exhausted, and in horrific condition. Two kind gentlemen found her wandering in the middle of the street in Wylie and picked her up so she wouldn’t get hit by a car. Thank God they did because this little senior has been through more than any dog should. Her skin is raw and scabby. Her ears are infected and painfully itchy. Her tiny body is covered in tumors under her belly likely from never being spayed. Tumors don’t happen overnight. No matter how this story unfolds, whether an owner comes forward or not, this dog has been neglected for a long time. And right now, the only thing that matters is what she needs. She’s safe with CAMO Rescue and receiving veterinary care to keep her comfortable. But she is going to need diagnostics, treatment, medications, and likely surgery. The men who saved her named her Hope Brave, and honestly, it fits. We believe she may be a Maltese. A little senior girl who deserved soft beds and regular grooming… not this cruel reality. And I also understand something else: sometimes owners are seniors too. Sometimes they can’t afford vet care. Sometimes situations spiral. But Hope Brave is the priority now. We can’t undo what she’s endured. We can make sure her future looks different. If you’d like to be part of her second chance, I’m raising funds to cover her medical care and give this sweet girl comfort, relief, and dignity. Let’s show her that the world can be kind. 3/19/26 Update CAMO did not get the news they wanted to hear; her cancerous tumors have spread. Despite the challenging news, they are committed to giving Hope Brave the best life possible for the time she has left. Our hearts are broken into pieces. We wish she had escaped from her owner sooner. Hope Brave has been given a couple of months to live. This highlights the importance of spaying and neutering animals to prevent similar situations like Hope Brave. CAMO is in desperate need of help with Hope Braves bills. Anything is greatly appreciated as the bills are piling up. Thank you! 3/31/26 Update: Hope Brave is getting the care she needs Hope Brave is struggling with her skin. We are still trying to fight her tumors to shrink them. She is still on supplements. Her skin is so itchy, and she is getting special bathes to relieve her discomfort. She has a good appetite and is getting some homemade food.

Amorette
Help a Brave Little Yorkie Take Her Next Steps
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Amorette: a tiny Yorkie with an unimaginable story. She was found alone, injured, and frightened in a stream, suffering from a traumatic wound. Despite everything she’s been through, Amorette is still here and fighting. Our veterinarian believes Amorette lost her left foot up to the metatarsal joint due to a severe injury, and she is also missing a toe on her right foot. Her recovery will not be quick or easy. Amorette will need weekly bandage changes, ongoing veterinary care, and careful monitoring to prevent infection and ensure proper healing. Once she is stable, we are hopeful she may become a candidate for a prosthetic which will give her the chance to walk, run, and live comfortably again. But right now, her care is urgent. The medical costs for her treatment are already adding up, and we cannot give Amorette the future she deserves without help. Every donation supports her healing, her comfort, and her chance at a new life. Please consider giving today to help this little survivor take her next steps toward hope.

Ace
Support Ace: A Brave Little Frenchie in Need
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
We first saw Ace on the Urgent List at the Beaumont Animal Shelter — a tiny French Bulldog with serious eye problems and limited vision. He needed help immediately. All of us at CAMO knew we couldn’t leave him behind. Ace is the kind of dog who loves with his whole heart. He’s affectionate, playful, and happiest when he’s curled up close for a snuggle. Even with his vision challenges, Ace is still curious about the world. He wants so badly to explore, to feel safe, and to live the joyful life every dog deserves. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Eye Care for Animals, Ace was gifted a special halo device to help him navigate safely. He’s learning and adapting, but his condition is permanent and he will need lifelong supportive care. Sadly, there is no treatment that can restore Ace’s sight. The good news is that he is not in pain, but he will require ongoing veterinary care, supplies, and support to keep him comfortable and thriving. That’s where we need your help. Urgently. Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide the care and stability Ace needs to live a full, happy life. Please consider giving today to support Ace’s journey. Let’s show him that even in darkness, he is surrounded by love.

Louise
Louise: A Call We Couldn’t Ignore
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
You never want to get a call for help from an animal shelter. Unfortunately, we received one from Baytown Shelter about a senior dog in heartbreaking condition. Louise needed us, and we couldn’t say no. We stepped up immediately and brought this sweet girl into our care right away. When Louise arrived at the shelter, she was severely neglected. Her fur was completely covered in painful mats. Staff shaved her down in hopes of giving her some relief, but what they discovered was even worse. Her matting had been so severe that it had tightened around her body, cutting off circulation to her leg. Tragically, part of her leg is already missing. On top of that, Louise’s eyes are also in poor condition, and she likely suffers from KCS — a painful dry eye disease caused by damaged tear glands. Now that Louise is safely at CAMO, she’s finally receiving the emergency care she needs to live out her senior years in peace. At this point, it’s looking like her leg will need to be amputated, but this surgery will ultimately give her the relief she deserves. Please consider donating toward Louise’s treatment. She needs a village and you can be a part of it. \\-------------------------------------- Update: May 19, 2026 We wanted to share a little update on sweet Louise. 💛 The good news: she is doing really well in foster care. She’s settling in, getting comfortable, and finally starting to feel safe after everything she’s been through. And honestly, seeing her relax even a little has been such a relief. But medically, Louise still has a lot ahead of her. Her vet found a mass on her back that needs to be removed, and she was also diagnosed with Grade 3 dental disease out of 4. Her teeth and gums are in rough shape, and she’s likely been living with discomfort for a while. She deserves to feel better, eat comfortably, and move through the rest of her life without pain weighing her down. Right now, the rescue is taking things one step at a time: keeping Louise comfortable, working through her treatment plan, and making sure every medical need is handled carefully and thoughtfully. She is safe now, and that matters so much. But safe doesn’t mean finished. Louise still needs help getting through the next part of her healing. Donations are still very much needed to help cover her upcoming procedures, and her supplies are running low. If you’re able to donate toward her care or send something from her wishlist, it would make such a difference for this sweet girl. Thank you for continuing to show up for Louise. Every donation, every wishlist item, every share — it all helps her keep moving forward. 6/20/26 Update Thanks to everyone who showed Louise love and support on her healing journey. She has come a long way, and thanks to you, she has made a full recovery. Louise is now up for adoption and ready to find her forever home!

Zeus
Zeus was given up on when he needed help the most
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Zeus had lived his whole life with comfort and predictability until one day his owner brought him to CAMO because she felt she could no longer take care of Zeus. Why? Because his luxating patellas were starting to cause issues. This wasn’t his fault. In fact, this could have been avoided if he began treatment at a younger age. Since he never had the corrective surgery or physical therapy, he now needs a more intensive surgery just so he can walk pain free. Of course, these surgeries are not cheap, but we re committed to helping Zeus live the rest of his life as normal as possible. With your help, we can get him the surgery he needs. Be the reason Zeus can walk again.

Mr Sammy
Emergency Medical Support Needed for Mr Sammy
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Mr. Sammy was rescued from the Rio Grande Valley in absolutely heartbreaking condition. When CAMO Rescue stepped in, he was suffering. His entire body was completely matted, and he was covered in over 200 ticks. It was clear he needed our help, and now. After his grooming appointment, things became even more alarming. Under all that fur, it was discovered that Mr. Sammy’s entire body is covered in bruises, showing just how much trauma his little body has endured. Now, Mr. Sammy is fighting for his life. He has been rushed to the Emergency Vet, where testing revealed he is positive for anaplasmosis, a serious tick-borne disease that attacks the blood and can prevent the body from clotting properly. in short, if Mr. Sammy were to get something as small as a nosebleed… he could bleed out. His platelet count, which should be over 175,000, is currently at a dangerously low 4,000. Because of this critical condition, Mr. Sammy will remain hospitalized for the next 2–3 days, receiving intensive care and a lifesaving blood transfusion. The medical costs for treatment, transfusions, and hospitalization are significant, and we cannot do this without support. Every dollar goes directly toward his urgent care, and every share helps us reach someone who can give. Mr. Sammy has already survived so much. Now he needs a community behind him to make sure he survives this, too. Thank you for standing with CAMO Rescue and giving Mr. Sammy the chance he deserves.

Eleanor
Senior Pup Eleanor Deserves to Live Comfortably
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Sweet Eleanor is a senior girl who ended up at Fort Worth Animal Shelter through no fault of her own. We don’t know many details about her life before CAMO stepped in, but what we do know is that her future is about to be so much brighter. We knew we had to take Eleanor in as soon as we learned about a large mass in her mouth. Shelter life was incredibly hard on her, and she began refusing to eat. Not because she didn’t want to, but because she was living with constant pain and discomfort for far too long. We brought her to our rescue’s veterinarian for blood work, an extensive exam, and much-needed pain medication. As soon as we receive her results, we plan to move forward with surgery to remove the mass. Our hope is that this will relieve the pain she’s been enduring and give her the comfort she deserves. The good news? Eleanor is now safe in a foster home and she’s finally eating again! With time, we know her sweet personality will continue to shine through, and she’ll be able to spend her golden years happy, healthy, and pain-free. But we can’t do this without you. Every single donation brings Eleanor one step closer to the life she deserves filled with love, comfort, and care. Thank you for being part of her second chance. 2/16/26 Update: Eleanor underwent surgery Update on Eleanor, the senior black poodle that was rescue from Fort Worth Animal Care & Control. Elenor finally had her major surgery to remove her cancerous mass the size of a golf ball yesterday. She’s been in ICU being hydrated and on antibiotic IV drip. Eleanor is recovering and ate this AM. She’s a beautiful sweet little 8lb poodle with an adorable little Pitter pat of a walk & zero teeth… 8/15/26 Update Thank you to everyone who has supported sweet Eleanor on her healing journey. Thanks to you, she is completely healed and is living out the rest of her days surrounded by lots of love and care.

Bella White
Found Near A Tire Shop, 10-Lb Bella Struggling With MASSIVE Tumor—Now Fighting For Surgery #2
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Bella White recently came into CAMO Rescue after being found scared and alone near a local tire shop. It was immediately clear that she was in immense pain and desperately needed help. This poor 10-lb girl was found with a massive mammary tumor that required emergency surgery. We got her in as quickly as possible and took X-rays prior to surgery to check for metastasis. The tumor was already so large that it was, sadly, safe to assume it was cancerous. Bella hasn’t had an easy life, but things are finally starting to get better. The tumor has been removed, which has eased so much of the pain she’s endured for far too long. She’s currently getting lots of rest and adjusting to her new life at the rescue. She’s even had a much-needed grooming and is looking cute as ever. Her story, however, is far from over. Little Bella still has another mass that needs to be removed, but her body needs time to heal from this most recent surgery first. With that said, we need help. This sweet girl will need another life-saving surgery, and our small rescue relies entirely on donations to make this possible. Please consider helping Bella White and giving whatever you can. Every donation makes a difference for this tiny girl and her second chance at life. 3/30/26 Update Thanks to your support, CAMO is thrilled to share the miraculous update on Bella White, the resilient little dog who was discovered at a tire store with a massive mammary tumor, requiring the removal of both mammary chains. She is now reveling in her newfound ability to run and play which she couldn’t do prior to coming to Camo. She's all smiles now!

Apple
Sweet Apple was dumped with a neck injury. Will you be her hero?
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
She should’ve been someone’s spoiled little shadow. Instead, she was stumbling across dirt and asphalt, her tiny head locked in a hard tilt, her body swaying like she might fall over at any second. That’s how she was found. Just this little girl, wandering with no direction, taking a few unsteady steps, then freezing in place like her brain couldn’t keep up with what her legs were doing. One eye struggled to focus. Her balance was gone. Every movement said the same thing: something is terribly wrong. The people who saw her didn’t know how it happened. Was she hit? Hurt? Born this way and discarded when she wasn’t “perfect”? What they did know was that she needed help. She was filthy and matted, her coat dull and sticky. You could feel every rib under your hand. She was malnourished, exhausted, and clearly in pain. But when her finders picked her up, she didn’t struggle. She didn’t bark or growl. She just went quiet and limp, like a dog who didn’t have the energy left to be afraid. They brought her to us, and we rushed her in for an exam. We needed to know if infection was attacking her brain or if something else had gone wrong. Her initial bloodwork came back normal. No raging infection. No organ failure. And that told us something heartbreaking: Whatever is wrong with her brain didn’t start yesterday. And she hasn’t been on the streets very long. The sad reality is, someone—or some people—saw her wandering like this. And instead of getting her help, they let her continue on like this. Despite everything, she’s trying so hard to stay present. Over the last few days, she has been alert, watching the staff, following voices with that tilted little head. But her body gives her away—the tremble, the wobble, the way she leans against walls to steady herself. She needs a neurologist. She needs imaging. She needs answers. Right now, she’s hospitalized and receiving 24/7 care. It isn’t safe to send her home yet. She’s on supportive meds and supplements to help her nervous system while we work on getting her in with a specialist, but every extra day in the hospital adds to her bill. And the truth is, we’re struggling to keep up. We don’t know yet if her condition can be improved, or if we’ll simply be helping her live as comfortably as possible in a body that doesn’t always cooperate. But she is young. She is sweet. She is still fighting. That makes her worth everything. We said yes to her because someone had to. Because when everyone else turned away, she let herself be carried—trusting, one last time, that maybe this would be different. Now we’re asking for help to keep that promise. If you’re able to donate—$10, whatever you can—it will go directly toward her hospitalization, neurology consult, and the diagnostics she needs. If you can’t give, simply sharing her story still matters. She’s already been left behind once. Please help us make sure it never happens again.

Oreo
Can you help Oreo who needs $4,000 for spinal surgery and rehabilitation?
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Oreo Crumble’s story has taken a heartbreaking turn, and he needs us now more than ever. After his owner surrendered him three weeks ago, she changed her mind and came back to get him from CAMO. Even though it didn’t feel right, CAMO could not legally refuse to return him. They hoped he would be safe; however, shortly after, everything changed when Oreo was brutally run over. After the accident, Oreo was rushed to the emergency vet, and once again, his future was placed in the hands of CAMO Rescue. Imaging confirmed utterly devastating news—Oreo had a broken back. The emergency costs immediately started climbing into the thousands for hospitalization, X-rays, medications, and advanced diagnostics. A CT scan was performed to fully assess the severity of his spinal injury, and the decision was made that surgery was his only chance of survival. Since then, Oreo has undergone spinal surgery to stabilize his back. He is still in pain, but it is being carefully monitored and managed with pain medication, and he is resting more comfortably as he begins his long road to recovery. While the surgery was necessary, it came at a very high cost, and Oreo will require ongoing care, monitoring, and rehabilitation. Tragically, he will never walk again, but with proper support, a cart, and a committed home with endless love, he can still have a life filled with dignity. Oreo did nothing to deserve this. He is gentle, confused, and trusting despite everything he has been through. This tragic accident changed his life forever, and we are so deeply saddened for him. Now, CAMO's focus is on giving him comfort, stability, and the best quality of life possible. Please help us to cover Oreo’s extensive medical bills and the care he will need moving forward. Every donation, no matter the size, every share, and every act of support help ensure that Oreo’s future is guided by compassion, not finances. Oreo Crumble deserves to know that he is endlessly loved and not fighting alone. Thank you for your continued support. 3/21/26 Update Thank you so much to everyone who supported this little sweetie throughout his healing journey! We are beyond thrilled that Oreo is doing incredibly well and was able to get a wheelchair to run and play! Thank you for your continued support!

Lilly
Lilly is a 11 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Murphy, TX, who needs $2800.00 for Tumor Removal /spay/dental.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
A 12-year-old female Yorkie, diagnosed with a tumor likely to be cancerous, was recently relinquished to the Fort Worth animal shelter. She is scared and experiencing a lot of discomfort. It is disturbing that her family abandoned her at the shelter without expressing any regret or facing any citation for years of neglect. A volunteer immediately went to pick Lilly up she won’t spend Christmas in the shelter alone. We are getting Lilly seen by the vet ASAP! Please Help share ❤️🩹We are raising money now, so Lily can get the care that she needs as soon as possible. This tumor must be removed. She’s 12 years old 9lb’s with the tumor. 2/16/26 Update Lilly had her surgery y to remove the huge tumor from her chest/belly. It weighed 3lbs. Despite the fact she just had surgery she still is wanting belly rubs and love. We are so happy she is in a foster home for getting the love and care she needs instead of spending it in a cold shelter. The tumor was massive and is being sent off for testing. It’s hard to believe her owners let it get this big and then surrendered her to a shelter😡 6/10/26 Update Thanks to you, this sweet little girl is well on her way to recovery and finding her forever home. We are so grateful for your continued love and support of Lilly and our other animals.

Pierre
A New Year, A New Hope for Pierre
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
After every New Year’s Eve, countless dogs are left lost and terrified, and found miles away from home in fear from fireworks, unsure of what comes next. This is exactly what happened to four-year-old Pierre. Just days into the new year, Pierre was found lying injured on train tracks near McAllen, TX. Despite being microchipped, his family has not responded, so CAMO Rescue stepped in to give him the care he urgently needed. Pierre was suffering from severe jaw trauma that required immediate, lifesaving surgery, which he has already undergone. Unfortunately, the damage goes far beyond a simple fracture. He is dealing with TMJ complications and currently has an external fixator that will need ongoing adjustments. In total, Pierre will need three separate surgeries to fully repair the trauma he’s endured. Between emergency care, diagnostics, CT scans, and surgeries, his medical costs have already run the rescue into the thousands. While Pierre is recovering well, his journey is far from over. He will need months of intensive therapy and specialized feeding to help his jaw heal and regain normal function. We are fully committed to giving this sweet boy every chance at a pain-free life! With so many animals coming into our rescue, our resources are stretched thin. Your support makes it possible for us to continue providing the highest level of care to dogs like Pierre. Every donation helps give him the future he deserves. 3/18/26 Update Thanks to all of your generous donations, Pierre is now doing great. His fixator was removed a couple weeks ago, and he started eating kibble last week. He's currently listed for adoption now!! He's SUCH a sweet boy, and he's ready for his forever home!

Ace
Ace is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Murphy, TX, who needs $2,200 for surgery.
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet the sweetest little soul named Ace. Early one morning, as the sun was rising, he was found lying on the side of the road—broken, covered in fleas, mange, and even ants. It’s likely he’d been hit by a car during the night and left there, scared, alone, and in pain. Thanks to CAMO's trusty rescuer named Bob, Ace was rushed to the ER, where X-rays revealed a completely fractured femur. His emergency visit alone cost $800, and the orthopedic surgery he now needs is estimated at $2,200. To make matters even harder, this sweet soul was also found to be heartworm-positive. Despite everything, he remains gentle and trusting—his tail still gives a small wag when someone shows him kindness. ❤️He’s fighting for a second chance at life, but CAMO can’t do it without you. Please consider donating toward Ace's surgery and recovery so this sweet boy can finally heal and know the love he’s always deserved. Every gift makes a difference. 🐶💙 Update 12/10/25 Ace's surgery was a success thanks to you! He is doing incredibly well in recovery.
