Jigsaw
Jigsaw suffered unimaginable cruelty. Please show him love and kindness.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Stray Dog Support received an urgent call to help a dog they have now named Jigsaw. He was found in Egypt, suffering from horrific injuries that are believed to have been caused by being brutally beaten. The moment they saw the video, their heart sank. They immediately committed to helping with his medical care. Jigsaw was rushed to the hospital where it took 6 veterinarians working together because his injuries were so severe. So far, they know he has multiple fractures to his jaw and around his eye, his eye is completely gone, and he has a broken leg. The veterinarians believe the eye injury is older because there was extensive infected bone that had to be removed. That means he has been living in unimaginable agony for quite some time. They also believe the broken leg is a newer injury, meaning someone likely attacked him twice. Right now, he has been sedated and given pain medication while they wait for blood test results. The infection is one of the biggest concerns, and they have started antibiotics in the hope of getting it under control. This is an incredibly difficult and complex case, but leaving him behind was never an option. Today, we are asking for your help. Stray Dog Support is overwhelmed with critical cases, but Jigsaw deserves every chance to know kindness instead of cruelty. He did not deserve this. Any donation, no matter the size, makes a huge difference and shows him that he is deeply cared about. Thank you.

Skipper
Skipper was found dragging his back legs.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
A few weeks ago, Stray Dog Support welcomed this precious little puppy named Skipper into their program after they were contacted by a lady who rescues cats in Cairo, Egypt. She had spotted Skipper dragging himself along the streets, clearly unable to use his back legs. They don’t know exactly what happened to him. Fortunately, they were able to get Skipper to safety and straight to the vet. X-rays revealed permanent damage to his spine. They’re hopeful that with physical therapy, nutritious food, supplements, and lots of love, they might see improvement. Miracles do happen, and Skipper deserves every chance. When he arrived, he was also covered in fleas and was so severely anemic that they truly believe they got to him just in time. Had he remained on the streets much longer, he may not have survived. Today, Skipper is safe in boarding care while he gains strength and begins his rehabilitation. Despite everything he’s endured, he is the sweetest, cutest little boy, and they are determined to help him thrive. As puppy season begins, Stray Dog Support is already being inundated with more and more little ones needing urgent help—and they know this is only the beginning. Every rescue like Skipper’s is only possible because of your support. If you’d like to be part of Skipper’s journey and help cover his veterinary care, boarding, food, supplements, and rehabilitation so he has a chance at finding his forever home, please consider making a donation. Every dollar makes a difference, and together we can give this brave little boy the future he deserves. Thank you.

Beethi
Every small step forward is a victory for Beethi.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Recently, Beethi had his very first physical therapy session, and Stray Dog Support is hopeful it will help improve both his comfort and mobility. His treatment included extensive manual therapy to release muscle tension and improve blood flow throughout his front and back legs, helping reduce painful lactic acid buildup. He also received pulse electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy and laser therapy to promote healing and support circulation. Beethi is living with severe spinal abnormalities and significant deformities in both of his back legs. His future is uncertain, and a double hind-leg amputation is still a possibility. But before making such a life-changing decision, we're committed to exploring every option that could help him live a happier, more comfortable life. Physical therapy offers hope, but it also comes with ongoing costs. We're asking for your help to continue Beethi's treatments, specialist care, and rehabilitation. Every donation brings him one step closer to a future with less pain and greater mobility. Thank you for believing in Beethi and giving him the chance to fight for the life he deserves. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.

Rojo
A shocking discovery revealed Rojo's pain.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
A few weeks ago, during Stray Dog Support's vaccine clinic in Mexico, they met a dog they would never forget, and his name is Rojo. As he approached them they could tell something was terribly wrong. Rojo wasn’t walking normally—he was moving only on his front legs, holding both back legs in the air. It was obvious he was in severe pain. At first, they assumed he had been hit by a car. They rushed him to a veterinarian, hoping something could be done. It turns out that X-rays revealed Rojo had undergone surgery sometime in the past. Metal hardware and pins had been implanted in his back legs, but the implants had failed catastrophically, causing severe infection, deformity, and unimaginable pain. Who performed this surgery? Why was it done? Was it an attempt to help him that went terribly wrong? They may never know. What they do know is that Rojo had been surviving on the streets while carrying failed implants inside his body. After consultation with an orthopedic surgeon, the heartbreaking decision was made that one of Rojo’s legs could not be saved. And Rojo underwent amputation surgery. The surgery was successful, and he is now recovering in the hospital. In the coming weeks, he will undergo another major surgery to repair his remaining back leg. Their hope is that it can be saved and become functional again. Walking only on his front legs is not sustainable and places tremendous strain on his body. His amputation, hospitalization, medications, and upcoming orthopedic repair are expected to cost approximately $3,000 USD. Stray Dog Support is currently overwhelmed with veterinary debt, but there was no way they could leave this sweet boy to suffer on the streets. He deserved a chance. Once recovered, Rojo will move into foster care while we search for the loving forever home he has always deserved. If you can donate any amount, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Booda
Booda Already Beat the Odds, Show Her She's Worth It
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Many of our community members already know and love Booda. For more than six years, this gentle senior Saint Bernard has been a long term resident of our partner shelter, CART Animal Rescue, in Cairo, Egypt. She has welcomed visitors, comforted volunteers, and become a beloved fixture in the lives of everyone who has crossed her path. Booda has become family. This past weekend, we came terrifyingly close to losing her. A shelter worker found Booda in severe distress and rushed her to the hospital. After an emergency examination, veterinarians diagnosed her with Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV), one of the most dangerous and rapidly fatal conditions a dog can face. Her stomach had filled with gas and twisted, cutting off blood flow to vital organs. Without immediate surgery, Booda would not have survived. The incredible team at the British Animal Hospital acted quickly, performing a highly complex emergency surgery that lasted more than three hours. Thanks to their skill and dedication, Booda was given a second chance. During her treatment, veterinarians also discovered several additional medical issues that required attention, making her recovery even more challenging. Even with these complications, Booda continues to show her gentle spirit that has made so many people fall in love with her over the years. We are relieved to share that she is recovering well. Recently, our friend Menna visited her in the hospital and was able to take her outside for a short walk. It may seem small, but it is an important milestone for a dog who was fighting for her life just days earlier. While we are incredibly grateful that Booda is still with us, her emergency surgery, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing care have left us facing veterinary expenses exceeding $1,000. We urgently need your help. If Booda has ever made you smile, if you have a soft spot for senior dogs, Saint Bernards, or simply believe that every life deserves a chance, please consider making a donation toward her care. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps ensure Booda receives the treatment and recovery support she needs. After six years of giving so much love to everyone around her, it's our turn to give back to Booda.

Lucy
Lucy Shouldn't Have Survived, Now We Have to Help Her Continue to Fight
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Our sweet Lucy suffered a devastating crush injury in a tragic accident at our partner shelter in Bitola, Macedonia. The impact left her with severe internal bleeding and a shattered pelvis. For an entire week, she fought for her life in intensive care while veterinarians worked tirelessly to stop the bleeding and keep her alive. Against all odds, Lucy survived. But saving her life was only the first step. The specialized surgery she desperately needed was not available locally, leaving us with only one option: transfer her to Sofia, Bulgaria, for treatment. Thanks to a member of our Stray Dog Support community, we were able to pay the deposit on her surgery. Lucy was one step closer to getting a chance. Without their generosity, we would have faced the heartbreaking reality of euthanasia to prevent her from suffering. Thankfully, we are able to fight for Lucy. The team drove through the night on the five-hour journey from Bitola to Sofia because this was her only chance. Lucy underwent surgery to repair her shattered pelvis. Due to the complexity of her injuries and concerns about how much anesthesia her fragile body could tolerate, surgeons were only able to repair one side. She will need a second surgery in approximately one month. Despite everything she has endured, Lucy continues to amaze us. She is currently recovering in ICU, where she is being closely monitored. The wonderful news is that she is in good spirits and even eating well—a small but powerful sign of the fighter she truly is. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated, shared, and supported Lucy's journey so far. Because of you, she got this chance. However, we are still short of our fundraising goal. We urgently need help covering the costs of Lucy's surgeries, hospitalization, and the emergency transport that got her safely to Sofia. Every donation, no matter the amount, directly helps Lucy continue her recovery. Every share helps her story reach someone who may be able to help. Lucy has come too far to give up now. Please help us give this brave girl the future she deserves.

Balloon
Balloon experienced unimaginable cruelty. Will you show her some love?
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Balloon's story is another heartbreaking reminder of the cruelty that so many stray dogs endure. When Stray Dog Support found Balloon, she had suffered unimaginable abuse. Someone had cut her with a knife and tied a rope tightly around her neck, leaving her injured, frightened, and fighting to survive. No animal should ever have to experience that kind of suffering. Today, Balloon is safe and receiving the care she desperately needs, but her journey is far from over. She faces ongoing medical treatments, wound care, and a long recovery process before she can truly begin to heal—both physically and emotionally. Despite everything she has endured, Balloon continues to show remarkable resilience. With every act of kindness, every share, and every donation, you are helping her move one step closer to the life she deserves. We are asking for your support to help cover Balloon's medical expenses and ongoing care. No donation is too small, and every dollar makes a difference in his recovery. Please donate if you can and share Balloon's story. Together, we can show her that while humans caused her pain, compassion and kindness will help him heal. 6/27/26 Update Balloon is still receiving treatment to fully heal. We are thankful for your continued support. 8/4/26 Update Thanks to all of you, Balloon is continuing to heal in the hospital in Cairo, Egypt. Her neck wound is still proving to be the biggest challenge, but the swelling in her face is slowly going down. Healing takes time. She is the sweetest girl with the kindest, most gentle energy, and we’re so grateful she’s getting the care she needs. Once she is healed, she has an adopter waiting for her in the U.S.

Bella
Bella has a long road ahead. Will you please show her your support?
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Bella, the sweet girl Stray Dog Support rescued from under a bridge during their recent vaccine clinic in Mexico, has undergone extensive testing and evaluation. Her results confirm severe malnutrition, regenerative anemia, active infection, inflammation, and tissue damage. The good news is that Bella is eating well, her bone marrow is actively producing new red blood cells, and she continues to show strength and resilience every day. She has started additional medications, including iron supplementation and pain management, and remains under close veterinary care. A tumor was also discovered, and surgery is being planned to remove it. They are currently awaiting cytology results, and the mass will be sent for further testing after surgery to determine the next steps. Bella still has a long road ahead, but she is fighting hard, and we’re committed to giving her every chance she deserves. Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement for this brave girl. Your donation will go directly toward covering her medical bills and her upcoming surgery. We can't do this without you. Thank you!

June & Johnny
The road to hope: Saving June & Johnny
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
At the start of the week, we received a call about two stray beagles who had wandered onto a kind woman’s porch in Southern Kentucky. Both dogs were skinny, exhausted, and clearly had been struggling for quite some time. Sadly, due to limited resources, the woman was unable to keep them, but she did everything she could—offering them safety on her porch, along with food and water, while desperately reaching out for help. One of the beagles, a female we have now named June, had an obvious leg injury and was struggling badly to walk. The moment I heard about them, I knew I needed to help. After many phone calls, we were connected with an incredible volunteer who does rescue work in the very remote area of Pine Knot, Kentucky. Without hesitation, Kim stepped in to help. She picked the dogs up, secured them safely, and transported them to the vet appointment we had arranged. After the vet visit, we received heartbreaking news that June not only had a shattered leg but x-rays revealed a bullet lodged in her leg. We were absolutely shocked. This poor girl has been surviving as a stray while suffering from severe and painful injuries. Thankfully, Johnny, the male beagle, appears to be doing well overall. Thanks to a rescue partner, we were able to bring June and Johnny back to Wisconsin. June is now on antibiotics to fight the infection she had, so she can become stable enough to have her broken leg amputated. Johnny was neutered and continues to eat and become more active each day. He is always right by June's side. If anyone would like to donate toward this rescue mission, I would be deeply grateful. The expenses of many vet visits and upcoming surgery are stacking up, and we could really use any support you're willing to give. Thank you! 8/3/26 Update Thank you to you all who donated and supported June and Johnny through a long healing journey. They are now in great care with their foster and are well on their way to healing and hopefully being adopted soon. We couldn't have done this without your support.

Fighter
Fighter survived having a tumor removed from his face--he needs your help more than ever.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Meet Fighter. He survived having a tumor removed from his face, and as you can see, he is the sweetest and friendliest dog ever. He has become one of the favorite dogs at the clinic in Cairo, Egypt, and everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his gentle personality. This is such a special dog—one of those dogs that just makes you smile. Even after everything he has been through, his spirit still shines so brightly. Stray Dog Support is currently supporting Fighter’s recovery in the hospital, and sadly, they did not receive much support when they first posted about him. They were begged to take Fighter under their care and sponsorship because otherwise, he would have to leave the hospital before completing treatment due to a lack of funds. We’re asking you to please see how special he is and help Stray Dog Support continue his care and recovery because he deserves it. No amount is too small. Thank you.

Theo
Discarded in a pile of garbage, Theo needs you!
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Theo’s next step toward healing is urgent. He needs eye removal surgery, hospitalization, and continued medical care—and these are not small expenses. Right now, we are struggling to cover what he needs to survive. Theo was found discarded in a pile of garbage in Cairo, Egypt. Emaciated. Blind. His tiny body crawling with parasites. Every movement clearly painful. He had every reason to give up… but he didn’t. And that’s what makes this so heavy. Because despite everything he’s endured, Theo is still fighting. Still leaning into gentle hands. Still choosing to trust. To some, he may look like just another street dog. But to us, Theo represents why we do this work. He is the forgotten. The overlooked. The ones who suffer silently until someone finally sees them. We see him. And we are not giving up. But we can’t carry this alone. If you are able, please consider donating toward Theo’s surgery and hospitalization. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings him closer to a life without constant pain. And if donating isn’t possible right now, please share his story. Sometimes one share is all it takes to reach the person who can change everything. Theo is still holding on. Let’s show him he’s not alone.

Toty
Her only worth was puppies until now... Please help Toty know she's loved.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Stray Dog Support was made aware of this tiny pug in Alexandria, Egypt who has spent her life being used over and over again for breeding. From what they’ve been able to piece together, she was passed from one breeder to another, each continuing to exploit her. Somewhere along the way, she suffered a prolapse hyperplasia. Instead of getting her proper care, it was pushed back in—only to come back worse and even larger. When they decided they no longer wanted her, offers came in from yet more breeders—willing to take her even in this painful condition. SDS couldn’t let that happen, so they stepped in and took Toty so she will never be used again. She’s now been seen at the hospital, where initial tests have been run. Despite everything—the pain, the neglect, and years of being used to produce litter after litter—Toty still wags her tail. That small, constant wag says so much about her spirit. She is gentle, trusting, and so deserving of a life where she is finally safe. Toty has had her last litter. She is now in home boarding, resting and being cared for. She has recently undergone her surgery to remove her prolapse, and they’re so relieved to share that everything went well. She’s currently recovering in the hospital and being closely cared for. At the same time, she was also spayed—which means no more babies for her. After a life of being used for breeding, Toty is finally free and will never be exploited again. But Stray Dog Support really needs your help. Her surgery and ongoing hospitalization are costly, and they want to ensure she receives the best treatment possible. Any amount will make a difference towards covering her medical bills. Thank you.

Berta
Show Berta love in her last days.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
You know when you make plans, and they don’t go the way you hoped? That’s what happened when Stray Dog Support got Berta to the hospital. What began with hope has turned into devastating news. Berta was originally scheduled for cataract surgery, but after further testing—including CT scans and x-rays—it was discovered that she has widespread metastasis in her lungs, liver, and abdomen. They also removed 200ml of fluid from her thorax, a procedure that will need to be repeated. This means Berta does not have long to live—likely only a few months. SDS made the difficult decision to cancel her eye surgery and instead focus on keeping her comfortable with supportive care. They are now bringing her home, where she will spend her remaining time with a loving caregiver. As a team, they’ve agreed that if her quality of life declines, they will help her pass peacefully—but for now, they are taking things one day at a time. Everyone involved is absolutely heartbroken. Thank you to everyone who has shown Berta support this far. Unfortunately, the bills are stacking up quickly, and Stray Dog Support is struggling to cover remaining bills from her eye scans and will need support for the upcoming bills to give her the best care. We greatly appreciate any amount that you can give to help Berta live the rest of her days in comfort and love.

April
Be April's second chance!
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
This sweet little girl named April was rescued by Stray Dog Support just in time after facing euthanasia, when another rescue in Rayon, Mexico could no longer afford her care. Since coming into SDS's hands, she’s being cared for in the hospital and fighting hard. An ultrasound revealed a cyst on her kidney affecting her health. While her urea and creatinine levels are improving, her phosphorus is still high. At least she is eating more, which will help support her recovery. They are hoping to bring April home soon and continue her treatment, with a recheck in about 15 days—and they urgently need your help to make that possible. Hospitalization comes at no low cost, and the bills are stacking up quickly. April already escaped death once—now she deserves to live her second chance. Please help them keep her alive by making a donation of any amount. It goes a long way and is greatly appreciated. 6/24/26 Update We are so grateful for all the love and support that you have shown April through your generous donations! Thanks to you, she is well on her way to healing. She has another follow up vet appointment but overall she is doing much better.

Poppy
Poppy Underwent Surgery-But She Needs You!
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
The other day, sweet Poppy underwent surgery to remove her damaged leg. It was completely shattered and beyond saving, causing her unimaginable pain. While it’s heartbreaking that she had to lose her leg, she is finally free from that suffering — and that is a huge step forward for her. When you look at Poppy now, it’s almost impossible to comprehend what she has endured. It’s hard to understand how anyone could have hurt her so badly. Yet despite everything, she continues to fight. Poppy is now in recovery. She’s eating well and being closely monitored, but she still has a long road ahead as she heals and learns to adapt. Stray Dog Support has yet to cover her initial veterinary care, and now they are faced with the costs of her amputation surgery and continued hospitalization. The bills are piling up very quickly, and they desperately need your support to provide Poppy with the best care because she deserves it. Please, if you can help Poppy in any way, it would mean the world. Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly toward her care. And if you’re unable to give, sharing her story could help her reach someone who can. Poppy has already fought so hard to stay alive. Let’s make sure she gets the chance she deserves. Thank you!

Puti
Puti needs you!
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
After everything Puti has been through—from the heartbreaking injuries to her nose and snout, to multiple surgeries, and finally, returning to the care of Stray Dog Support's partner sanctuary in Iloilo, Philippines, Paraiso ni Fur Kimay—we wanted to share her latest update. Over the past few days, we noticed a small wound forming near Puti’s eye. At first, we thought it might just be a minor injury, possibly from bumping into something inside the shelter. However, yesterday we saw pus coming from the wound, which immediately raised concern. We rushed her to the clinic so the veterinarians could assess her condition. The doctor recommended an X-ray to determine whether the infection might be coming from inside and to check if the braces from her previous surgery had shifted. As of now, Puti has been confined at the clinic for close monitoring. She is scheduled for a CBC test tomorrow to determine if there is an underlying infection. The good news is that her X-ray results show that the braces from her previous surgery are still in place and stable. For now, the clinic has treated her wound with a spray, and she remains under observation. Please continue to keep Puti in your thoughts as she recovers once again. We will keep everyone updated on her condition. Thank you for your continued love and support for this brave little fighter.

Cara
Exposed to medical experimentation, please show Cara you care.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Meet Cara. She is the sweetest girl that Stray Dog Support found outside the walls of a hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. She, along with two others they rescued—Cassie and Cassidy—had clearly been subjected to medical experimentation. All three had identical wounds on their backs—consistent, deliberate, and heartbreaking to witness. But Cara still greeted her rescuers gently and trusted them to bring her to safety. Since their rescue, Cara and her companions have been receiving laser therapy and ongoing wound care treatment. Recently, Cara went in for another check-up and blood work, and they are so relieved and grateful to share that she is doing great. Her blood work came back good, and her wounds have now healed into scars. She is now ready for her spay. Those scars will always be a physical reminder of what she endured, and we know there are emotional ones too. Cara is still very shy and cautious—and who could blame her? But we truly believe that with time, patience, and love, she will begin to come out of her shell. If you can donate any amount, we would greatly appreciate the help to support Cara through her healing journey. She deserves it!

Leon
He Looked Like a Lion… But He Was Fighting for His Life
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Meet Leon, who is now under Stray Dog Support's care in partnership with a rescue in Egypt. They named him Leon because he looks like a lion—but the truth is, he shouldn’t. His body is riddled with ulcers and tumors, causing severe swelling and making him much larger than he should be. Leon is currently at the same hospital as their other dog Justice, receiving the best care possible. Right now, they are still in the discovery stage. Tests have revealed that he has blood parasites, and X-rays show a lung infection. They are now waiting on an ultrasound to understand the full extent of what he’s facing. For the first time in a long time, Leon is safe. He’s receiving antibiotics, hepatic food, fluids, and vital supplements. Once we have the ultrasound results, they’ll be able to create a clear treatment plan and move forward with his care. This giant, noble boy has been suffering—but now, he finally has a chance at a fresh start surrounded by lots of love. But we can’t do this without you. Leon will need to be hospitalized for weeks, and his care will be extensive. So what’s next? We need your help. Whether it’s donating, sharing his story, or keeping him in your thoughts—every bit of support matters. Let’s give Leon the fighting chance he deserves. Thank you. 5/6/26 Update Thank you to everyone who supported this sweet boy on his healing journey. We are very saddened to share that he could no longer hold on and passed over the rainbow bridge. But we are incredibly grateful that he had the best care, comfort, and much love until the end.

Halawa
Halawa underwent life-saving surgery but still needs your help.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Stray Dog Support rescued a sweet donkey from relentless working conditions. His name is Halawa. He started on an intensive course of treatment, such as antibiotics, pain relief, anti-inflammatory medication, along with fluids to rehydrate and stabilize him. He recently underwent surgery to remove a massive tumor on his leg—and they are so relieved to share that the surgery went very well. The veterinary team was able to successfully remove the entire tumor. Seeing it after removal was truly shocking. They knew it was large, but the actual size of the tumor was far worse than they could have imagined. Despite everything, Halawa handled the procedure incredibly well. He was sedated throughout and remained stable the entire time. His surgical site has now been cleaned and properly dressed, and he is continuing on antibiotics as part of his recovery. He is finally on the path to healing. But this rescue urgently needs your help. They were able to move forward with this life-saving surgery by paying on credit, but they were only given a short time to pay it off. They need to ensure they can pay off this surgery and continue providing Halawa with the aftercare he needs. No amount is too small to help precious Halawa know a life without pain. Thank you. 8/15/26 Update Thank you to everyone who showed sweet Halawa love and support on his healing journey. Thanks to you, he was able to get the care he needed and is well on his way to healing. He is surrounded by lots of love and support.

Stray Dog Support is proof that love wins when you don’t walk away. \\_\\_Trigger Warning\\_\\_ Toy Toy was tragically sexually assaulted, beaten, and left terrified and alone. When he was first found, he was a scared little soul who had every reason not to trust the world anymore. Justice
She Survived the Night. Now Justice Needs Us.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Thanks to one of Stray Dog Support's incredible partners, this sweet girl now named Justice is safe and receiving urgent veterinary care. She was found with a rope tightly embedded around her neck that has now been removed. SDS is currently cleaning and treating her wound. The area was severely infected, and she is now on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication to reduce the extreme swelling caused by the rope. Despite everything, Justice is eating on her own! A small but powerful sign of her will to survive. They are relieved to share that her trachea does not appear to be damaged. They are currently waiting on blood test results to better understand the severity of her condition. Justice will need to remain hospitalized for the next 2–3 weeks as her infection and swelling are closely monitored. The vet described her as the sweetest and most gentle girl. The very qualities that should have protected her may be what allowed someone to get close enough to hurt her. This is why Stray Dog Support exists. But her recovery is just beginning. Stray Dog Support urgently needs help to cover the cost of Justice’s hospitalization and ongoing treatment. Every donation goes directly toward her medication, her monitoring, and her chance to fully heal. Please consider supporting Justice today. Thank you! 6/9/26 Update Thanks to all of your love and support, Justice is well on her road to recovery and is doing really well! She is so sweet and already has a couple interested in adopting her. We are so grateful for your continued support to help deserving dogs like Justice.

Cassidy
Healing Isn’t Over Yet. Stand With Cassidy
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Cassidy continues to show us what true strength looks like. Every single day, she returns to the vet for treatments which include wound cleaning, laser therapy, and careful redressing. It is a long, painful process that she handles with bravery. We truly believe she understands she is finally being helped by all of us at Stray Dog Support. Cassidy is the sweetest girl. Gentle. Trusting. The kind of soul who should have only ever known kindness. What happened to her should never have happened to any living being. For those who know her story — we believe Cassidy was used for medical experimentation, then discarded outside the walls of a hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. This is not the first time we’ve been made aware of these situations so we are currently in the middle of an ongoing investigation where we can hopefully put a stop to this cruelty. But right now, Cassidy’s fight is still very real and far from over. Because of you, she has made it this far. Your support has made every treatment, every bandage change, every small step toward healing possible. We are so deeply grateful. Her daily vet visits are not optional. They are critical to her survival and recovery. And the costs are quickly adding up. We are falling behind, and we cannot do this without you. If you are able, please consider helping Cassidy today. Every contribution directly supports her care. It helps ease her pain. It keeps her treatments going. It gives her a real chance at healing, and at finally knowing the safe, loving life she has always deserved.

Gilmore
Gilmore Needs Your Help! Now!
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Gilmore has been through more than any dog should have to endure and somehow she’s still fighting, but she needs our help. Recently diagnosed with a canine venereal tumor, Gilmore underwent surgery to remove it. During the procedure, veterinarians discovered something even more serious: multiple cysts and tumors inside her uterus, along with a condition called hydrometra—a buildup of fluid that can become life-threatening if untreated. Thankfully, the team acted quickly. Gilmore has now been spayed, preventing further complications and giving her a better chance at recovery. She has already begun chemotherapy and has completed two sessions, with two more scheduled in the coming days. Each step forward is a victory, but it also comes with significant medical costs. Those long hours during her surgery were filled with uncertainty. Seeing her come through safely was an incredible relief. Now she’s resting and showing us just how strong she is. Stray Dog Support is so close to covering her care, but still needs about $500 for the surgery, plus additional hospitalization expenses. Every donation brings Gilmore one step closer to a full recovery. If you’re able, please consider supporting Gilmore today. And if you can’t donate, sharing her story means the world to us. 6/18/26 Update Thanks to everyone who supported sweet Gilmore on her healing journey; she is doing incredibly well and is well on her way to recovery. We are truly grateful for your love and support.

Magic is nothing short of the ultimate survivor. He was found on the streets of Cairo, Egypt, after being poisoned and fighting for his life. Somehow, he held on. Though Stray Dog Support was not part of his initial rescue, we were urgently asked to help when his rescuer had nowhere for him to go after his recovery. Magic spent weeks at the vet, slowly healing. But once he was strong enough, a heartbreaking reality set in: the most realistic option seemed to be releasing him back onto the same streets where he had been poisoned. Moving him elsewhere could put him at risk due to territorial dogs, but returning him meant facing the same danger all over again. We couldn’t let that happen. Thanks to our incredible partner, Hope Rescue, Magic now has a safe place to stay under our sponsorship. For the first time, he is safe. Magic is a gentle, shy soul with so much love to give. He deserves more than survival. He deserves a future filled with safety and kindness. We need your help to make that possible. Your donation will go directly toward Magic’s food, shelter, medical care, and ongoing support. Every dollar brings him closer to the secure life he has fought so hard for. Please consider donating today and be part of Magic’s second chance.

Shousha
Shousha is a 1 year old Donkey in Kewaskum, WI, who needs $1,500 for treatment.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
Stray Dog Support recently rescued Shousha, a young donkey about five years old, after he was abandoned in the desert outside Cairo. His owner had grown frustration with his injured leg and, no longer seeing any “use” for him, left him overworked, starving, and alone to die. When SDS found him, Shousha was extremely hungry and clearly had not eaten for a long time. He was terrified of humans approaching him, a sign of the abuse he endured. In addition to his broken leg, he has another painful wound on his shoulder, and his condition was severe enough that his smell revealed how long he had been suffering without care. Shousha’s health needs urgent and ongoing treatment. He will need a new cast on his broken leg for three to four weeks, along with a multitude of medication and good food. The total budget required for his recovery is $1500. Shousha is now safe and recovering with their partner The Egyptian Society For Defending Animal Rights in Cairo, but they cannot provide the care he needs without your support. Every contribution helps give him the chance to heal, trust again, and live a life free from suffering. If you are able, please help us cover Shousha’s treatment and care. He has already endured so much. Together, we can give him the future he deserves. Thank you for your continued support. 8/15/26 Update Thank you to everyone who supported Shousha on his healing journey! We are beyond grateful for the support you showed him, and he is well on his way to healing. He is surrounded by lots of care and love.

Halo
Halo is a tiny fighter who needs your support
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
This tiny and precious puppy named Halo came to SDS at only 1.5 months old. Halo was found alone on a highway near Delcevo, close to the Bulgarian border. She is now hospitalized in Bitola, Macedonia with the help of Animal Voice. Her injuries are severe—she has breathing issues, a broken femur, a fractured skull, an eye that was forcefully dislodged, and infections in her lungs. It appears she was intentionally harmed. Due to her small size and the nature of her injuries, it’s unlikely she was hit by a passing car by accident. Despite everything, Halo is fighting. She is eating, which gives us hope. They’re planning to proceed with eye removal surgery this week, provided she’s strong enough. The surgery for her femur will come next, though they’re still waiting on confirmation from the vet about the timing. Halo’s medical needs are urgent, and the bills are stacking up quickly. SDS can’t do this without your support. If you are able to contribute toward her hospitalization and surgeries, it would make a world of difference in giving her the second chance she deserves. She has such a long life to live, and with your help, she will heal and be able to find the forever loving home she deserves. Thank you.

Pearl
Pearl is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Kewaskum, WI, who needs $2,000 for surgery.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
When rescuers found Pearl, she was just a baby—barely 50 days old—curled up in pain, trying to disappear into the corner of a building in Alexandria. Her tiny body was trembling, her leg shredded and bleeding, and her eyes full of quiet fear. Stray Dog Support rushed her to the hospital, where the vets were faced with a heartbreaking decision: Pearl’s front right leg was too far gone to save. The only way to stop her suffering was amputation. The good news? Pearl made it through surgery. This little fighter woke up wagging her tail, alert and hungry—already showing everyone what resilience looks like. Her back leg, which also had a deep, infected wound exposing bone, is slowly healing thanks to round-the-clock care, laser therapy, and twice-daily applications of medical Manuka honey. But her journey is far from over. The infection is still a serious threat, and her bloodwork shows she’s severely anemic. Each day, the team focuses on stabilizing her, cleaning her wounds, and fighting the infection that could cost her another limb. Every test, every cleaning, every dose of antibiotics adds up—and the costs of her care are overwhelming. Pearl’s still in a fragile place, and she needs all the help she can get to make it through the next few weeks. If you can, please help Stray Dog Support give this tiny survivor the chance to grow up pain-free and loved. Every single contribution—no matter the size—helps Pearl heal. Update 12/8/25 Pearl is doing great! She will have a second surgery to remove the stump of her front leg. She has received her first set of vaccinations. Her back leg is healing well, so they don’t believe she will need that leg amputated, which is great news! Thank you for your continued support in helping this sweet girl heal! 12/17/25 Last night, Pearl bravely underwent her second surgery. After careful consultation with the veterinary team, it was determined that removing what remained of her front leg at the shoulder was the safest option to avoid future complications with her stump. At the same time, Pearl was also spayed. We’re relieved to share that she came through the procedure and is now resting in recovery.

Ami
Starving, weak, and desperate: Ami needs you!
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
At the start of October, SDS helped with a rescue case that broke their hearts. Ami was found near a local supermarket in Iloilo, Philippines. She wasn’t begging or causing trouble—just quietly searching for food. Starving, weak, and desperate, she was met not with compassion but with cruelty. Someone threw stones at her. When SDS saw the photos and videos of her, they broke down in tears. She was so severely emaciated that it’s a miracle she was still standing. Every bone in her body was visible. It truly looked like she only had days, maybe hours, left to live. That image has stayed with them since. Thankfully, their partner was able to reach her in time. Ami was rushed to the hospital, where she has been receiving intensive care ever since. During her check-up, vets discovered a massive tumor in her private area. She was immediately started on chemotherapy, and she has now completed her third session. Because they had to pay for all six sessions in advance, they were unable to complete their fundraising efforts beforehand. SDS urgently needs your help to recoup those costs and cover her ongoing hospitalization, which remains unpaid. And the good news is that Ami is showing signs of progress. She's gained weight and continues to fight. If you would like to support Ami's recovery and help SDS continue her treatment so she can find her forever home, please donate today. No amount is too small for Ami, who has stolen our hearts. Thank you!

Atlas
Atlas is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Kewaskum, WI, who needs $2,000 for treatment.
Kewaskum, WI • Stray Dog Support
In a city in Egypt, a dog named Atlas endured unimaginable cruelty—his back legs were cut off. When rescuers found him, he was in shock, his body broken and trembling from pain. But even through the fear and agony, Atlas’s eyes still searched for kindness. Thanks to a brave local advocate and the incredible team at Stray Dog Support (SDS), Atlas was rushed to the hospital in Cairo where he’s now fighting to live. For weeks, Atlas has remained hospitalized, receiving round-the-clock care. His wounds were so severe that saving his legs seemed impossible—but the veterinary team refused to give up on him. On October 24, Atlas underwent surgery to remove a dead bone fragment, clean the infected tissue, and close his wounds. He was also neutered, and while one of his testicles had atrophied from trauma, the surgeons were able to carefully remove it. The good news: portions of both hind legs were saved. This means prosthetics may be possible in the future. For now, a wheelchair will help him regain mobility as he continues to heal. Just a week later, on October 31, Atlas started showing glimpses of hope again—tiny tail wags, soft eye contact, a willingness to trust the humans who’ve refused to give up on him. He’s still in the hospital, recovering from amputation surgery to remove the damaged remains of his legs. His care is intense and ongoing, with constant cleaning, bandage changes, and infection prevention needed every single day. Atlas’s body has been through hell, but his spirit refuses to break. He wants to walk again. He wants to live. Now, Stray Dog Support faces the enormous cost of his surgeries, hospitalization, and long-term care. Every donation—no matter the size—helps keep Atlas safe, stable, and on the path toward a future where he will never be hurt again. Thank you to everyone who’s stood by Atlas through this heartbreaking journey. And a special thank you to the compassionate veterinary team at El Gezira Pets Clinic in Cairo and Dadeg Kamel, whose unwavering care has given this brave soul a fighting chance. Please, if you can, help Atlas continue his recovery. He deserves the chance to know love, safety, and life without pain. Update 12/3/25 Atlas is finally coming out of his shell now that he knows he is being helped. His recovery will take time, with constant cleaning and regular bandage changes to prevent infection. The next goal is to get Atlas a wheelchair and eventually prosthetic legs, but options are very limited in Egypt. Despite everything, Atlas is a true fighter. He wants to walk again and never gives up—his strength and determination are truly inspiring. SDS needs your continued support to help pay for his continued care. Thank you to everyone who has supported Atlas so far, and a special thanks to the amazing vet team for their tireless dedication and compassion.
