Peddi Has Never Known Life Without Pain.

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Little Peddi was living on the streets when a Good Samaritan noticed his severely mutilated leg. It appeared that he had been run over by a vehicle, leaving this tiny puppy injured and in unimaginable pain. But Peddi didn’t give up hope. He kept going, waiting for someone to finally help him. He stayed close to his family, doing his best to survive. Even his siblings seemed to understand that he was hurting, staying by his side and supporting him as he struggled to move. Finally, a sign that things a going to get better. Peddi’s diagnostics are still pending, and the veterinary team needs to determine the full extent of his injuries and what treatment will give him the best chance at recovery. A Fractured Leg Won’t Stop Harry From Finding His Future

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Harry was just a street puppy, living alongside his littermates and trying to navigate life on the streets. Then a Good Samaritan noticed something was wrong. Harry was limping badly and struggling to keep up. The Stray Animal Foundation of India stepped in to help. Veterinary examination, diagnostics, and X-rays revealed a fracture, likely caused by a dog bite. But Harry’s injuries weren’t his only battle. He was also found to be anemic and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, Harry is now receiving the treatment he desperately needs. He’s being cared for while his fracture heals and his body works to recover from the infection and anemia. But getting Harry through this recovery will take continued veterinary care, medication, and monitoring. All of those costs add up quickly for a rescue already caring for so many animals in need. Harry has already made it off the streets and into safety. Now, he needs us to help him make it all the way back to health. Please donate toward Harry’s medical care today. Every contribution can help give this little street puppy the chance to heal, grow stronger, and finally know a life beyond survival.

Arthi

Together we can help end Arthi’s struggle

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Before anyone really knew her, Arthi was wandering the streets alone, weak, exhausted, and clearly in need of help. The gentle Labrador Mastiff mix was found with large patches of missing fur, appearing lethargic and confused. Concerned rescuers brought her in for a veterinary evaluation, where testing revealed she was facing much more than skin issues. Arthi has severe hypothyroidism, anemia, alopecia, and a small tumor-like growth on her upper lip that requires close monitoring and treatment. Thankfully, Arthi is now safe, and her treatment has already begun. She is receiving the medical care she needs and finally has a quiet place to rest as her body starts the long process of healing. But recovery won’t happen overnight. Managing her thyroid disease, treating her anemia, addressing her skin condition, and monitoring the growth on her lip will all require continued veterinary care. After surviving on the streets while feeling so sick, Arthi deserves the chance to regain her strength and experience the comfort she’s been missing for far too long. Your donation can help cover the cost of her diagnostics, medications, and ongoing treatment so her rescuers can focus on what matters most—helping Arthi heal. Every gift brings her one step closer to a healthier, happier future.

Parker

Parker should have never known this kind of cruelty.

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

The other night, a neighbor was startled by the sound of a dog screaming in pain. When our volunteer rushed outside, he saw an intoxicated man nearby. Not thinking too much of it, he returned to his house. A few days later, Parker, the drunk man’s dog, returned with devastating injuries including deep lacerations that appear to have been intentionally inflicted. The wounds were severe, and by the time he was found again, they had already begun to show signs of infection. Thanks to the quick actions of compassionate rescuers at Stray Animal Foundation of India, Parker was rushed to the veterinary clinic, where his emergency treatment began immediately. He is receiving wound care, pain management, antibiotics, and the medical attention he desperately needs to give his body a chance to heal. No animal deserves to suffer at the hands of cruelty. Parker has already endured far too much unimaginable pain, but with proper veterinary care, he has a chance to recover both physically and emotionally. Emergency treatment is expensive, and every day of care matters. Your donation can help cover Parker’s medical expenses and ensure he continues receiving the lifesaving treatment he needs. Please help Parker heal and show him that compassion is stronger than cruelty. Every contribution brings him one step closer to a future free from pain.

Buddy and Molly Deserve a Second Chance

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

For Buddy and Molly, every day was a struggle. The two dogs were kept tied up in filthy conditions, exposed to scorching sun, heavy rain, and the elements around the clock. When reports of their situation reached Stray Animal Foundation of India, our team first attempted to counsel their owners and improve the dogs' living conditions. Unfortunately, despite repeated efforts, nothing changed. With their welfare continuing to deteriorate, we made the decision to confiscate both dogs and bring them to safety. Once transported to our veterinary clinic, medical examinations revealed the toll that prolonged neglect had taken. Buddy was diagnosed with hypoglycemia, a tick-borne infection, severe anemia, and mildly altered liver parameters requiring ongoing treatment and monitoring. Molly was also found to be suffering from a tick infection that requires veterinary care. The physical challenges are only part of their story. Neither Buddy nor Molly trusts people. Years of neglect have left them fearful, defensive, and unwilling to cooperate with treatment. Even routine medical care is difficult because they are frightened and unsure of the humans trying to help them. Their recovery will not happen overnight. Both dogs need long-term medical treatment, rehabilitation, nutritional support, and patient behavioral care to help them heal physically and learn that they are finally safe. Your donation can help provide the specialized care Buddy and Molly need during this critical stage of recovery. Together, we can give them the chance to overcome the effects of neglect and build a future defined not by fear, but by compassion. Please donate today to help Buddy and Molly begin that journey.

Laser

Help Laser Survive and Begin His Road to Recovery

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Laser, a young male puppy, was brought to Stray Animal Foundation of India with devastating injuries after what appears to have been a severe traffic accident. His front leg was crushed, and his wounds were consistent with being run over. X-rays confirmed a serious fracture, and by the time he reached care, Laser had already lost a significant amount of blood. His little body is in shock, and veterinarians are deeply concerned about the risk of sepsis. Laser’s condition is critical, and he needs intensive veterinary treatment to stabilize him before any major procedure can safely take place. His medical team is working urgently to manage his pain, support his circulation, address infection risk, and give his small body the best chance to respond. Once Laser is stable enough, his damaged front leg will need to be amputated. This is a difficult but necessary step to prevent further painand give him the possibility of a safer, healthier life. Laser’s recovery will require emergency care, medications, diagnostics, hospitalization, surgery, and careful post-operative monitoring. For a puppy facing trauma, blood loss, shock, and the threat of sepsis, every hour of treatment matters. Your donation can help provide the critical care Laser needs right now. With your support, Stray Animal Foundation of India can continue giving him the urgent medical attention required to survive this crisis and begin healing. Please donate today to help Laser fight through this emergency and take his first steps toward recovery. 7/14/26 Update We wanted to share an update on brave little Laser and thank everyone who has supported his journey so far. Laser remains under close veterinary supervision and is currently on strict cage rest as his medical team focuses on stabilizing his condition. While he continues to recover from the severe trauma he suffered, blood tests revealed that he is anemic, so he is receiving medication to help improve his blood parameters and strengthen his body. Before moving forward with surgery, Laser's veterinarians will repeat diagnostic testing to evaluate his progress and determine the safest course of action regarding the amputation of his injured front leg. Their priority is ensuring that he is strong enough to undergo surgery and have the best possible chance at a successful recovery. Although there are still important decisions ahead, Laser is receiving the dedicated care he needs every step of the way. His journey isn't over yet, but thanks to your compassion, he has the opportunity to keep fighting. If you're able, please consider making a donation to help cover Laser's ongoing hospitalization, medications, repeat diagnostics, and the surgery he will likely need. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps give this courageous puppy the chance to heal and look forward to a brighter future. 7/23/26 Update We wanted to share another update on sweet Laser and thank everyone who has been following his journey and keeping him in your hearts. Although Laser is still waiting for the next step in his treatment, there has been encouraging progress. This brave puppy has grown into a handsome young boy since arriving in our care, and despite everything he has endured, his resilient spirit continues to shine through. As Laser has been healing, his injured front leg has begun to calcify. His veterinary team is closely monitoring the healing process and is waiting for his blood values to improve before making any final decisions. Once his anemia has resolved and he is strong enough, they will perform repeat evaluations to determine whether amputation is still the best course of action or if surgery may no longer be necessary. For now, Laser remains under careful veterinary supervision as he continues receiving supportive care, medications, and monitoring to help him build the strength he needs. While it's encouraging to see him growing stronger each day, his journey is far from over, and he still requires ongoing medical care before he can move on to the next chapter of his recovery. We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity that has helped Laser make it this far. If you're able, please consider making a donation to help cover his continued veterinary care, repeat diagnostics, medications, and any surgery he may still need. Every gift helps ensure Laser receives the treatment he needs to keep healing and, one day, enjoy the happy, pain-free life every puppy deserves. 7/28/26 Update After weeks of strict cage rest, careful monitoring, and dedicated veterinary care, Laser's injured front leg has healed much better than anyone initially expected. Follow-up evaluations have shown that the fracture has calcified in the proper position while supported by his bandage—a huge milestone in his recovery. Because of this positive progress, Laser's veterinary team is holding off on amputation for now. Over the next week, they will carefully monitor how Laser uses the leg as he begins putting more weight on it. Their biggest goal is to determine whether he can walk comfortably without pain. If he continues to do well, Laser may not need surgery at all. This is the outcome everyone has been hoping for. While we're incredibly optimistic, Laser isn't out of the woods just yet. He still needs close veterinary supervision, follow-up examinations, and ongoing care to ensure his leg continues healing properly and that he remains comfortable as his activity gradually increases. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported Laser throughout this journey. Your generosity has given him the time and medical care he needed for his body to heal, and because of that, he now has the possibility of keeping his leg. Please continue to keep Laser in your thoughts as he reaches this important milestone. If you're able, a donation toward his continued veterinary care will help ensure he receives the follow-up treatment and monitoring he needs to complete his recovery. Every contribution brings this resilient puppy one step closer to the happy, healthy future he deserves.

Eva Has Already Lost So Much. Help Her Get the Care She Urgently Needs.

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Eva was rescued after being found in a heartbreaking condition. By the time help reached her, she was already missing one of her paws and struggling to survive with multiple untreated injuries. After being rescued by the Stray Animal Foundation of India, Eva was immediately transported to our veterinary clinic for a full medical evaluation. Diagnostic testing and X-rays revealed that her challenges extend far beyond the loss of her paw. Veterinarians discovered that Eva is suffering from anemia, has an additional fracture, and is carrying several open wounds that require ongoing treatment and careful management. Despite everything she has endured, Eva continues to fight. Her medical team is working to stabilize her condition and develop a plan for her fracture so she can begin the long process of recovery. However, the road ahead will require continued veterinary care, medications, wound management, and supportive treatment to help her heal safely. For a street dog already facing the loss of a limb, these additional injuries make her situation especially urgent. Without consistent medical care, complications from her wounds, fracture, and anemia could significantly impact her recovery. Your support can make a direct difference in Eva's future. Every donation helps provide the treatment, monitoring, and compassionate care she needs during this critical time. Together, we can give Eva the chance to heal, regain her strength, and move forward from a life of hardship toward one of safety and comfort. Please donate today to help Eva continue her fight toward recovery. 7/8/26 Update We have some encouraging news to share about sweet Eva. Despite everything she has been through, Eva continues to amaze us with her gentle spirit. She has been incredibly friendly with our veterinary team and has cooperated with every step of her treatment, making it clear that she hasn't lost her trust in people. Right now, our primary focus is helping Eva become strong enough for the next stage of her care. She is receiving medications to improve her blood parameters and treat her anemia, and we're happy to report that she is responding well. Her bloodwork is steadily improving, and she has a healthy appetite, eating and drinking well each day. Once her condition has stabilized and her blood parameters have improved further, our veterinarians will carefully evaluate her injured leg to determine the best path forward. At that point, they will decide whether amputation is necessary or if another treatment option will provide Eva with the best chance for a comfortable, pain-free future. We are so grateful for everyone who has supported Eva's journey so far. Your generosity is allowing her to receive the ongoing medical care, medications, monitoring, and compassion she desperately needed. Eva still has a long road ahead, and her veterinary care is far from over. Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide the diagnostics, medications, wound care, and treatment she needs to continue healing. If you're able, please consider making a gift today or sharing Eva's story with others. Together, we can give this resilient girl the second chance she deserves. 7/12/26 Update Eva continues to make steady progress under the watchful care of our veterinary team. She remains bright, affectionate, and cooperative with her daily treatments, and we're encouraged by the improvements we've seen since she first arrived. Our veterinarians are continuing to closely monitor her healing, manage her wounds, and provide the medications and supportive care she needs as she regains her strength. While she still has a journey ahead of her, we're grateful that she is surrounded by compassionate people who are committed to giving her every opportunity for a healthy, comfortable future. Every day brings Eva one step closer to recovery, but her medical care is ongoing. Follow-up examinations, medications, wound management, diagnostics, and continued treatment all remain essential parts of her healing process. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has donated, shared Eva's story, and kept her in their thoughts. Your generosity has already made a tremendous difference in her life. If you're able, please consider making a donation to support Eva's continued veterinary care. Every gift helps ensure she receives everything she needs to keep healing while also allowing us to continue helping other injured and neglected animals who have nowhere else to turn. 7/22/26 Update We're happy to share another update on Eva's healing journey. Thanks to the dedicated care of the veterinary team and the generosity of supporters like you, Eva is continuing to recover. While she still has some hurdles to overcome, she is making steady progress every day. Right now, the primary focus is treating her anemia, which will take a little more time to fully resolve. Her veterinarians expect she will need a few more days—or possibly several weeks—of continued care before her blood values are where they need to be. To help her body heal, Eva remains on a treatment plan that includes medications, nutritional supplements, and a healthy, nourishing diet. Every meal and every dose of medication is helping her regain strength and preparing her for the next steps in her recovery. Although she still has a road ahead, we're encouraged by the progress she's making. Recovering from the loss of a paw, multiple wounds, a fracture, and anemia is no small task, but Eva continues to show just how resilient she is. Your support has been instrumental in giving Eva the chance to heal. Because of your generosity, she is receiving the veterinary care, medications, nutrition, and ongoing monitoring she needs during this critical stage of her recovery. Eva's journey isn't over yet, and she still needs our help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support her continued medical care. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide the medications, supplements, specialized nutrition, and veterinary treatment she still needs as she works toward a healthier, brighter future. If you're unable to donate, sharing Eva's story is another wonderful way to help. Thank you for standing with Eva and the Stray Animal Foundation of India as she continues her journey toward healing. 8/2/26 Update We wanted to share a final update on Eva's journey and thank each and every one of you who has supported her along the way. Since her rescue, Eva has overcome so much. She arrived in our care missing a paw, suffering from multiple wounds, a fracture, and severe anemia. Thanks to your generosity, she has received the veterinary care, medications, nutritious food, and constant monitoring she desperately needed to begin healing. As many of you know, our team had been waiting for Eva's blood values to improve so she could safely undergo surgery. Unfortunately, during her continued testing, veterinarians discovered the reason her anemia was not resolving as expected. Eva has been diagnosed with tick fever, a tick-borne disease that commonly causes anemia in dogs. While this diagnosis helps explain her persistent low blood counts, it also means her treatment plan has changed. Right now, her health and recovery from tick fever must come first. Eva is receiving medication to treat the infection, and her veterinary team will continue closely monitoring her progress. Until her body has recovered and her blood values have improved, her surgery has been postponed indefinitely. Moving forward with anesthesia before she is medically stable would put her at far too great a risk. While this wasn't the update we had hoped to share, we are grateful to have identified the underlying cause of Eva's anemia so she can receive the treatment she truly needs. From all of us at the Stray Animal Foundation of India, thank you for believing in Eva. Your compassion made it possible for her to receive lifesaving diagnostics, medical treatment, and ongoing care when she had nowhere else to turn. Because of you, she is safe, loved, and receiving every opportunity to heal. Please continue to keep sweet Eva in your thoughts as she works through this next chapter of her recovery. We remain hopeful that, once she has fully recovered from tick fever, she will be strong enough to undergo the surgery she needs and continue her journey toward a pain-free future. Thank you for giving Eva a chance she never would have had without you. ❤️

Help Anya Recover from a Painful Leg Fracture

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Anya, a young street puppy, was recently rescued after being found struggling with a severe limp. Concerned for her welfare, our team brought her to the clinic for immediate evaluation and treatment. Immediately, X-rays confirmed that Anya had suffered a leg fracture, an injury that would have continued to cause significant pain and mobility challenges without intervention. During her examination, veterinarians also discovered that she is anemic, leaving her more vulnerable and requiring careful medical management throughout her recovery. To give her the best chance of healing, Anya has been fitted with a Robert Jones bandage to stabilize the injured limb and reduce swelling. She has also been placed on strict cage rest, a critical, but vital part of her recovery process. The coming weeks will be crucial for her recovery. Ongoing veterinary care, follow-up examinations, bandage changes, supportive treatments, medications, and nutritional support will all play an important role in helping Anya regain her strength and mobility. Your donation can help ensure that Anya receives the continued care she needs during this critical healing period. Rudra was just a small puppy, doing his best to survive on the streets. He kept to himself, never bothering anyone, only hoping his next meal would come soon. Then, in a moment of senseless cruelty, everything changed. A local woman was caught beating this innocent dog for no reason other than him being a stray. While many cases like this go unseen, Rudra’s story is different. After taking care of the police report, help was on the way. When volunteers from the Stray Animal Foundation of India arrived, Rudra was scared, hiding deep in the bushes. What they found was heartbreaking. His nose was severely injured and bleeding, and parts of his skin were torn and hanging from his face. He needed immediate care. Rudra was rushed to the rescue’s veterinary clinic, where his wounds were cleaned and carefully stitched. Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

This sweet dog came into the care of Stray Animal Foundation of India suffering from multiple painful medical conditions. He was dealing with a severe flea allergy, Malasseziosis (a difficult and uncomfortable yeast skin infection), and an abscess caused by a tumor. His skin was irritated and inflamed, and the infection had already taken a toll on his comfort and overall health. Despite his condition, he has remained gentle and trusting — quietly accepting treatment and showing how much he wants to feel better. The team immediately began treating his tumor-related abscess and conducted diagnostics to understand the full extent of his medical needs. While the tumor has been treated for now and his infections are being managed, he is not out of danger yet. He must first be stabilized and continue responding to medications before he can undergo the surgery needed to remove the tumor completely. His road to recovery includes: \\- Treatment for severe flea allergy and skin inflammation - Care for Malasseziosis (yeast infection) - Management of the abscess caused by the tumor - Diagnostics and ongoing monitoring - Supportive care to stabilize his condition - Tumor removal surgery once he is strong enough - Post-operative recovery and follow-up care As a stray, he has no family to cover these urgent medical expenses. Give Kali the Comfort She Deserves — Help an Old Soul Heal

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Kali didn’t come to us as a young, carefree dog. She came tired. Fragile. And suffering. This sweet senior girl arrived with painful skin conditions — demodex and malasseziosis — leaving her skin inflamed, irritated, and deeply uncomfortable. For an older dog, conditions like these aren’t just hard… they’re exhausting. But Kali is a quiet fighter. 💛 Her Journey to Healing Since coming into our care, Kali has already begun her road to recovery: \\- She’s received full diagnostics and vaccinations - She’s started medicated baths to soothe and treat her skin - She’s on medication to fight infection and restore her health But healing won’t happen overnight. It will take months of consistent medicated baths, treatment, and care for Kali’s skin to fully recover. Kali isn’t asking for much. She loves to rest. She enjoys long naps. She simply wants to feel safe, comfortable, and free from pain. Because of her age and medical needs, Kali may spend the rest of her life in our sanctuary — and we are committed to making those days as peaceful and loving as possible. After everything she’s endured, Kali deserves more than survival — she deserves dignity, relief, and kindness in her golden years. To continue her treatment and provide for her long-term care, we are raising $3,000. 💛 How You Can Help Kali Your support will provide: \\- Ongoing medicated baths and skin treatments - Veterinary care and medications - Nutritious food and daily comfort - A safe, loving sanctuary where she can rest and heal Every donation helps ease her discomfort. Every act of kindness gives her a better quality of life. She may be in her final chapter… But together, we can make it her most peaceful one. 🙏 Please donate today and help Kali heal with comfort, dignity, and love. 3/28/26 Update We’re happy to share that Kali is recovering well. This sweet senior girl is finally getting the comfort and care she has needed for so long. Because of her age, healing takes time — what might resolve quickly in a younger dog can take weeks or even months for Kali. But she is making steady, encouraging progress. Kali continues to receive regular medicated baths to soothe her skin, along with medications to treat her demodex and malasseziosis. She’s also enjoying special, nutritious food to support her immune system and overall health. Each day, these treatments are helping reduce her discomfort and giving her body the chance to heal. True to her gentle nature, Kali spends much of her time resting. She loves her naps and is finally able to relax in a safe, peaceful environment where she isn’t battling constant irritation. Watching her settle in comfortably and simply enjoy quiet moments is a beautiful reminder of why her care matters so much. While Kali is improving, her journey isn’t over yet. Senior dogs like her need consistent treatment, ongoing monitoring, and supportive care to continue healing and maintain comfort. Your support is what allows us to keep providing her medicated baths, medications, special diet, and the calm sanctuary she depends on. Thank you for standing by Kali and giving her the dignity, relief, and kindness she deserves in her golden years. Every donation continues to make her recovery — and her comfort — possible. 4/7/26 Update Kali’s recovery is continuing, and while progress is slow, she is moving in the right direction. This gentle senior girl is still receiving her regular medicated baths, medications, and supportive care, and each week we see small improvements in her skin and overall comfort. However, Kali is now facing another challenge — the intense heat. Temperatures have already reached 95–100°F, and peak summer is still ahead. For a senior dog with sensitive, healing skin, the heat and humidity can make recovery even more difficult. It can increase irritation, slow healing, and leave her feeling drained. Despite this, Kali remains the quiet, resilient soul we’ve come to love. She spends most of her days resting peacefully, enjoying long naps, and finally experiencing the calm and safety she deserves. But the heat makes comfort harder, and we are doing everything we can to keep her cool while she continues healing. Kali still requires ongoing care, including medicated baths, medications, specialized nutrition, and regular monitoring. Because she is a senior, her healing will take time and consistency. These treatments are essential to reduce her discomfort and help her skin recover. Your donations toward Kali’s medical care make all of this possible. By helping cover her veterinary bills and ongoing treatments, you also allow Baw Baw Animal Welfare to allocate other resources — like cooling support — to keep her as comfortable as possible during these hot summer months. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue providing Kali with the dignity, comfort, and care she deserves in her golden years. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story is another meaningful way to support her journey. 5/4/26 Update We are so grateful to share that Kali continues to make slow but steady progress. As a senior dog, her recovery was never going to be quick, but thanks to ongoing medicated baths, medication, good nutrition, and consistent sanctuary care, Kali’s skin is improving and she is far more comfortable than when she first arrived. This gentle girl spends most of her days doing what she loves best — resting peacefully, taking long naps, and enjoying the safety and quiet she was missing for so long. One challenge we are continuing to navigate is the intense summer heat. Temperatures have already reached 95–100°F, and with peak summer still ahead, the heat can make healing especially difficult for senior dogs with sensitive skin. To help keep Kali comfortable, funds from this campaign are also helping us work toward misting coolers and portable air conditioners to give her — and other vulnerable sanctuary dogs — relief from the exhausting temperatures. Because of your generosity, Kali has been given something every senior animal deserves: time to heal in comfort, dignity, and peace. On behalf of Kali and all of us at Stray Animal Foundation of India, thank you for making her recovery possible. Your kindness has truly changed her golden years.

Help Alex the Pug — A Paralyzed Pup Who Refuses to Give Up

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

When Alex arrived, he couldn’t walk. His back legs had no reflexes. No strength. No movement. We don’t know what happened to him… or how long he suffered like that. We don’t know if someone abandoned him after he became paralyzed — but sadly, it’s something we see far too often. What we do know is this: 💛 Alex hasn’t given up on life. Despite everything, his spirit is unshaken. He lights up when he sees people. He gets excited for every meal. He still believes in love, comfort, and kindness — even after everything he’s been through. 🐾 A Future That Depends on Us Alex is now safe in foster care, where he’s finally receiving the compassion he deserves. But his condition is permanent. He will need lifelong care, including: Mobility support and possible assistive devices Regular veterinary checkups Ongoing medical management A safe, clean environment to prevent sores and infections Daily care to keep him comfortable and happy In India, dogs like Alex are almost never adopted. Paralysis often means a lifetime without a home — unless someone steps in to help. 💔 That Someone Is Us… and You. We are committed to giving Alex the life he deserves — one filled with dignity, comfort, and love. To do that, we are raising $3,000 to cover his ongoing and long-term care. 💛 How You Can Change His Life: Your support will help ensure that Alex never suffers alone again, receives the care he needs every single day, and continues to experience joy, love, and safety He may never walk again… But with your help, he will never be without care. 🙏 Please donate today and help us give Alex the life he deserves.

Help Arjun Heal — A Pain No Animal Should Ever Endure

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Arjun’s suffering didn’t happen overnight. Somehow, a wire became tightly embedded around his leg — cutting deep into his skin, causing constant pain, and slowly leading to a severe infection. By the time help reached him, the damage had already been done. Our team acted quickly to remove the wire, sparing Arjun from further injury. But the relief was only the beginning of a much longer fight. 💔 Arjun Is Still in Pain His wound is badly infected. Because of the intense pain, Arjun is struggling to cooperate with treatment — not because he doesn’t want help, but because he is hurting so deeply that he doesn’t understand we’re trying to save him. This makes his recovery even more challenging. 🐾 What Arjun Needs Now To heal, Arjun urgently needs: \- Ongoing wound care and infection management - Pain relief to keep him comfortable - Antibiotics and medical treatment - Careful handling and monitoring to rebuild trust - Time, patience, and a safe place to recover - Without consistent care, infections like this can worsen quickly — and could even cost him his leg… or his life. 💛 You Can Be the Reason He Recovers Arjun has already endured so much. Now he needs compassion, not suffering. Your donation will help provide the treatment, medication, and care he desperately needs to heal — both physically and emotionally. Every contribution gives Arjun a better chance: \- To walk without pain - To trust again - To live the life he deserves - 🙏 Please donate today and be part of Arjun’s healing journey. 6/3/26 Update Arjun's journey has taken another difficult turn. As if the severe injury to his leg wasn't enough, he has now developed a significant skin condition that requires treatment and stabilization before he can safely undergo his much-needed amputation surgery. Our veterinary team is working hard to get his skin issues under control while continuing to manage his pain and monitor his injured leg. Unfortunately, this means his amputation must be postponed until he is healthy enough for surgery. Despite everything he has endured, Arjun continues to fight. Every day he receives medical care, medication, and the support he needs to keep moving forward. Your donations are helping us provide the treatment, diagnostics, medications, and ongoing care that Arjun desperately needs. Please continue to share his story and keep him in your thoughts as we work to get him strong enough for the next step in his recovery.

Help Us Save Roohi, Pari, Heer, and Guddu — Victims of a System in Crisis

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

In 2025, India’s Supreme Court issued a series of rulings in response to growing concerns about dog bites and rabies. What followed created confusion on the ground — and for countless street dogs, it became a matter of survival. Authorities were initially directed to capture stray dogs and place them in shelters, without releasing them back to the streets. But India is home to tens of millions of community dogs — and there simply aren’t enough humane, well-equipped shelters to hold them. Animal welfare groups warned what would happen next… and tragically, they were right. Overcrowded facilities. Little to no food. Minimal medical care. Unsanitary, heartbreaking conditions. Although the Court later reaffirmed the humane capture-neuter-vaccinate-release model, additional orders still required dogs to be removed from certain areas — leading many municipalities to continue mass roundups. And dogs like Roohi, Pari, Heer, and Guddu paid the price. 💔 Their Story These four innocent souls were captured by municipal authorities and held for months in a filthy, overcrowded shelter. When they were finally released, they were unrecognizable. Emaciated. Weak. Barely able to stand. They had suffered so much that when they were dumped back onto the streets, they didn’t even have the strength to jump out of the van. A video of their condition began circulating — a desperate cry for help. When the team at Stray Animal Foundation of India saw it, they didn’t hesitate. They searched tirelessly until they found them lying on the roadside… exhausted, starving, and clinging to life. Now Their Fight Begins. Roohi, Pari, Heer, and Guddu are finally safe. But safety is only the first step. They urgently need: \\- Comprehensive veterinary diagnostics - Treatment for severe malnutrition and possible infections - Ongoing medical care - Nutritious food and supplements - A safe space to heal and rebuild their strength Their recovery will not happen overnight. After everything they’ve endured, they need time, care, and compassion to learn that the world can still be kind. Every dollar makes a difference. Every share spreads their story. Every act of kindness brings them closer to healing. They survived the worst of humanity. Now let’s show them the best of it. 6/19/26 Update When the Stray Animal Foundation of India found these four dogs lying helpless on the roadside, they immediately stepped in to provide the lifesaving care they desperately needed. With your support, Roohi, Pari, Heer, and Guddu received veterinary treatment, nutritious food, supplements, and the time and safety they needed to heal. Today, we are overjoyed to share that all four dogs have made an incredible recovery. They are now healthy, happy, and full of life. Each one has been spayed or neutered, fully vetted, and given the opportunity to leave their painful past behind. Best of all, they are safe at the sanctuary, where they will never again have to worry about hunger, neglect, or suffering. Instead, they are surrounded by compassionate caregivers who ensure they receive the love, comfort, and security they always deserved. This transformation would not have been possible without you. Your donations helped turn a story of despair into one of hope and healing. Because of your generosity, four dogs who were once forgotten now have the chance to enjoy peaceful, fulfilling lives. From all of us at the Stray Animal Foundation of India, thank you for standing beside Roohi, Pari, Heer, and Guddu during their journey. Your kindness proved that even after experiencing the worst of humanity, these dogs could still discover the very best of it. Thank you for helping us give them the future they deserve. ❤️

Munni

Munni has spent her life surviving on the streets. Now she deserves comfort and care.

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Munni is an elderly street dog who has known hardship her entire life. Despite her age and everything she’s endured, Munni is gentle and trusting—a quiet soul who has never known what it means to be someone’s priority. When Munni was rescued by the Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI), veterinarians discovered she was suffering from a mammary tumor. Given her age, the medical team carefully evaluated whether surgery would be in her best interest. After thorough assessment, the veterinarians agreed: removing the tumor offers Munni her best chance at comfort and quality of life. Munni has now undergone diagnostic testing and has begun receiving supportive medications to help stabilize her and prepare her for surgery. Once she is medically ready, she will undergo a tumor removal surgery to relieve her pain and prevent further complications. This procedure is not about extending life at any cost—it is about giving Munni relief, dignity, and comfort in her senior years. We are asking for your help to cover diagnostic testing and pre-surgical evaluations, supportive medications and monitoring, life-improving tumor removal surgery, and post-operative care and recovery support. Munni has spent years being overlooked. With your compassion, her story can change—one filled with care, kindness, and comfort instead of pain. Please consider donating today to help Munni receive the medical care she needs. Your support can give this sweet senior the peace and relief she deserves. 4/23/26 Update We’re so grateful to share that Munni’s surgery was successful. This sweet senior, who has endured so much in her life, bravely underwent her tumor removal procedure — and we’re relieved to say she is recovering well. After everything she’s been through, seeing her finally experience relief and comfort means everything. For the first time in a long time, Munni is no longer carrying the pain of her tumor. She is resting, healing, and being cared for with the gentleness she has always deserved. But while this is a huge step forward for Munni, the financial burden of her care remains. Her diagnostics, medications, surgery, and post-operative care have added up, and we still need help covering these critical medical expenses. Munni spent a lifetime without being anyone’s priority — but today, she is surrounded by compassion because of you. Please consider helping us finish what we started for Munni.

Cherry

Cherry was loved by his community -then tragedy struck

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Cherry is a gentle community street dog who was cared for and looked out for by a kind neighbor. He was a familiar, friendly presence—safe, known, and loved. One day, that neighbor found him severely injured and bleeding, and everything changed. Cherry was rushed to Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI). We immediately brought him to a clinic where veterinarians immediately began emergency diagnostics, X-rays, and life-saving treatment. The veterinary team believes Cherry was hit by a vehicle. One of the bones in his leg was fully exposed, and his injuries were far more serious than they first appeared. Cherry had vomited blood and was suffering from internal bleeding, placing him in critical condition. Due to the severity of his trauma, he was transferred to a 24/7 emergency hospital for intensive care, close monitoring, and stabilization. Veterinarians are doing everything possible to save Cherry’s life. Sadly, due to the extent of the damage to his leg, he will likely require amputation to prevent further suffering and complications. Despite unimaginable pain, Cherry has continued to fight. He trusted the people who helped him, even while terrified and hurt—and that trust may be what saves him. We are urgently asking for your help to cover emergency diagnostics and X-rays, intensive care hospitalization and treatment, surgery, including a likely life-saving amputation, medications, pain management, and recovery care. Cherry didn’t choose the streets, and he didn’t choose this accident. But with your compassion, he can survive—and go on to live a life free from pain. Please consider donating today to help Cherry heal. Your support can turn a moment of tragedy into a future filled with safety, comfort, and care. 2/27/26 Update Because of your compassion, Cherry is still here — and he is healing. After being found severely injured with a fully exposed bone, internal bleeding, and life-threatening trauma, Cherry fought through emergency stabilization and intensive care. The damage to his leg was too severe to save, and veterinarians made the difficult but necessary decision to proceed with amputation to end his pain and give him a chance at survival. Cherry has now had his surgery. We are relieved to share that he is recovering well. His incision is healing, his vital signs are stable, and he is slowly adjusting to life on three legs. The road ahead will include continued monitoring, pain management, and careful rehabilitation — but his body is responding. Emotionally, Cherry is still guarded. After everything he endured, he does not yet trust humans easily. Trauma leaves invisible wounds, too. But even in his fear, we see the sweetness in him. He is a gentle boy at heart — watching quietly, learning that not every hand brings harm. Recovery for dogs like Cherry isn’t just physical. It takes patience, consistency, and compassion to help them feel safe again. And because of you, we can give him that time. Your donations made his emergency care and amputation possible. If you’re able, please consider continuing to support Cherry’s recovery. Funds will help cover his post-operative care, medications, rehabilitation, and the ongoing support he needs to regain strength and confidence. Cherry survived the unthinkable. Now he deserves the chance to heal — fully, safely, and surrounded by kindness. Please donate and share his story. Together, we can help this sweet boy learn that his future will be defined by care, not trauma. 3/21/26 Update We are overjoyed to share the final update on Cherry — and it’s the news we’ve all been hoping for. Cherry has fully recovered and is doing great. After being found with devastating injuries, internal bleeding, and a severely damaged leg that required amputation, Cherry’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. The road to recovery included emergency stabilization, surgery, pain management, and careful rehabilitation. Through it all, Cherry showed quiet resilience and a gentle spirit. Today, Cherry has healed well physically and has successfully adjusted to life on three legs. Dogs are incredibly adaptable, and Cherry is proving that every day — moving comfortably, regaining confidence, and enjoying a life free from the pain he once endured. Even more heartwarming, Cherry is continuing to grow emotionally. The fear he once carried is slowly being replaced with trust as he experiences consistent care, kindness, and safety. Watching him relax and settle into his new normal has been truly special. This happy ending would not have been possible without the generosity and compassion of supporters who stepped in when Cherry needed it most. Your donations helped cover his emergency treatment, life-saving amputation, medications, and recovery care. Because of you, Cherry’s story did not end in tragedy. Instead, it became a story of survival, healing, and hope. From all of us — and from Cherry — thank you for giving this sweet boy the second chance he deserved.

Bahadur

Bahadur was punished for being friendly. Now he needs justice—and healing.

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Bahadur was a well-known, gentle neighborhood street dog. His only “mistake” was running alongside a child who was playing—something many friendly dogs do out of curiosity and excitement. That moment was tragically misunderstood. Instead of seeking help, a woman hired dog catchers to remove him. What followed was extreme cruelty. Bahadur was captured in an inhumane and brutal manner and forcibly relocated. When the Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI) learned of what had happened, our cruelty prevention team immediately intervened, filed a legal case, and rescued Bahadur from further harm. When Bahadur arrived at the veterinary clinic, the medical team documented devastating findings. The veterinarian reported that Bahadur was in shock, terrified, and suffering from multiple bleeding wounds on his limbs where his legs had been tightly bound. Several of these wounds were infested with maggots. He had deep bruising on his abdomen, painful marks on his muzzle from being tied shut, and clear signs that he had been beaten repeatedly over several days. Bahadur was also severely undernourished and starving. Despite the pain he endured, Bahadur has shown remarkable resilience. He is now safe, receiving urgent medical treatment, wound care, pain management, and nutritional support under SAFI’s care. In addition to Bahadur’s ongoing medical needs, SAFI is pursuing an active legal case against the woman who ordered this abuse and the catchers who carried it out. These cases are critical—not only for Bahadur, but to prevent this cruelty from happening to other street dogs. Bahadur did nothing to deserve this suffering. He trusted humans—and that trust was betrayed. With your support, he can heal, and those responsible can be held accountable. Please consider donating today. Your compassion can help Bahadur recover, and help ensure that cruelty like this does not go unanswered. 2/27/26 Update Because of your support, Bahadur’s story is no longer defined by cruelty — but by resilience. After arriving in shock with bleeding, maggot-infested wounds, deep bruising, and signs of prolonged abuse, Bahadur immediately began intensive veterinary care. He received thorough wound treatment, antibiotics, pain management, and nutritional support to help his fragile body recover from both trauma and starvation. Today, we are grateful to share encouraging news. Bahadur’s leg injuries are healing well. The wounds caused by his legs being tightly bound have significantly improved, and healthy tissue is forming. His body is responding to treatment, and he is regaining strength each day. Even more remarkable is his spirit. Despite the unimaginable cruelty he endured, Bahadur still trusts humans. He allows gentle handling, seeks comfort from caregivers, and is slowly gaining confidence and stamina. The fear in his eyes when he first arrived has softened. He is walking more comfortably, eating well, and beginning to show glimpses of the gentle neighborhood dog so many people once knew. His recovery is ongoing, and we continue to monitor his healing closely. At the same time, the legal case against those responsible remains active. Justice for Bahadur is just as important as his medical recovery — not only for him, but for the countless street dogs who deserve protection from violence. Bahadur survived brutality. Now he needs continued medical care, follow-up treatments, nutritious food, and the legal support required to see this case through. If you’re able, please consider making a donation today. Your contribution helps cover Bahadur’s ongoing veterinary care and supports the fight for accountability in cruelty cases like his. Every dollar sends a powerful message: abuse will not be ignored, and compassion will always show up. 3/16/26 Update Because of your compassion, Bahadur’s story now has the ending he always deserved. When Bahadur first arrived in SAFI’s care, he was a broken and terrified dog. The gentle neighborhood stray who once trusted people had endured unimaginable cruelty—his legs tightly bound, wounds infested with maggots, bruises covering his body, and clear signs that he had been beaten and starved for days. He arrived in shock, fighting not only severe physical injuries but deep emotional trauma. But Bahadur also carried something incredibly powerful: resilience. Thanks to the lifesaving support from donors like you, Bahadur received the urgent veterinary care he desperately needed. His wounds were treated, infections were cleared, and his body slowly regained strength through proper nutrition, pain management, and dedicated medical care. And little by little, the frightened dog who arrived at the clinic began to heal. Today, we are overjoyed to share that Bahadur has fully recovered. His injuries have healed, his strength has returned, and the gentle spirit that once made him a beloved neighborhood dog is shining again. He is now happy, healthy, and safe, surrounded by people who treat him with the kindness he always deserved. Perhaps the most remarkable part of Bahadur’s recovery is that he never lost his capacity to trust. Despite everything he endured, he still greets caregivers with soft eyes and a wagging tail—proof that compassion can help heal even the deepest wounds. Your support made this possible. Because of you, Bahadur was rescued from cruelty. Because of you, he received the medical care that saved his life. Because of you, his story did not end in suffering. On behalf of Bahadur and the entire SAFI team, thank you for standing up for a street dog who had no voice of his own. Your kindness gave him a second chance—and reminded the world that every animal deserves protection and compassion. Bahadur’s story began with cruelty, but it ends with hope.

Two Puppies

Two tiny lives survived a massacre. Now they need our help to survive

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

You may have seen the devastating news—mass killings of stray dogs in Telangana, India, a tragedy so severe it has drawn international attention from outlets including the BBC, MSN, and Australian media. The Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI) has been on the ground, confronting this crisis head-on. Our team traveled across Telangana, documenting the violence and filing eight FIRs (First Information Reports) to hold those responsible accountable. At the fifth killing site, we uncovered a scene we will never forget. More than 200–250 dogs had been poisoned, their bodies dumped into a massive pit and left exposed. Mothers, fathers, family groups—gone. And then, against all odds, we heard movement. From the pit, we rescued two tiny puppies, just 2 to 2.5 months old. Their mothers were among the dogs who were killed. These babies were left alone in the aftermath of unimaginable cruelty—cold, starving, and clinging to life. The puppies are now safe at SAFI’s shelter, but they are in critical condition. They require intensive, life-saving medical care, including diagnostics, medications, supportive treatment, and round-the-clock monitoring. We urgently need help covering their medical treatment to give them a real chance to heal. These puppies didn’t choose to be born into violence. They didn’t choose to lose their mothers. But they did survive—and that means their story doesn’t have to end here. Please consider donating today. Your support can turn survival into recovery, and tragedy into hope. Together, we can make sure these two lives are not lost to this cruelty. 2/26/26 Update We are heartbroken to share that one of the two puppies rescued from the mass poisoning site in Telangana has passed away. Both puppies were found severely dehydrated and critically weak after losing their mother and being left in a pit with over 200 poisoned dogs. Their tiny bodies were so compromised that even placing IV lines was extremely difficult. Despite emergency efforts, one was simply too fragile to survive. The second puppy is still alive — but remains in critical condition. SAFI is providing round-the-clock intensive care, fluids, medications, and constant monitoring. Every hour is critical right now. We urgently need continued support to cover emergency treatment and lifesaving care. We couldn’t save them both. But together, we can still save one. Please donate if you can. 3/12/26 Update When we first shared the story of the two tiny puppies rescued from the mass poisoning site in Telangana, the situation was almost impossible to comprehend. Over 200 dogs had been poisoned and discarded in a pit, and somehow—against all odds—two small lives were still clinging to survival. Shortly after their rescue, we shared the heartbreaking news that one of the puppies did not survive. Their tiny bodies had endured so much trauma, dehydration, and loss that despite emergency care, one was simply too fragile to pull through. But today, we are incredibly grateful to share a hopeful ending for the remaining puppy. Thanks to the compassionate support of donors and the tireless work of the Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI), this little survivor has made an amazing turnaround. After receiving intensive medical care, fluids, medications, and constant monitoring, he has regained his strength—and his puppy spirit. In fact, he has become \_so\_ energetic and playful that the rescue team has joked it's nearly impossible to get an updated photo of him. Every time they try, he’s already a blur racing across the room and exploring everything around him. From a silent pit filled with tragedy to a shelter filled with life, this puppy’s journey is a powerful reminder that compassion can change the outcome—even in the darkest circumstances. Because of you, one life was saved. One puppy who should have been another victim now has a future filled with safety, care, and the chance to grow. On behalf of SAFI and this resilient little survivor, thank you for standing with them when it mattered most.

Tiny Duke Is Fighting for His Life — He Needs Us Now

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

At just 2 months old, Duke should be learning to play, explore, and feel safe in the world. Instead, this fragile puppy was found with a crushed back leg, alone and in unbearable pain. By the time the Stray Animal Foundation of India rescue team reached him, Duke had already lost a dangerous amount of blood. His gums were pale, his tiny body weak, and his breathing shallow. Tests confirmed the worst: Duke is severely anemic and cannot survive surgery without an immediate blood transfusion. Only after stabilizing him can our veterinarians perform the amputation that will save his life. This little pup is fighting with everything he has — but he cannot win this battle alone. Right now Duke urgently needs a life-saving blood transfusion, intensive stabilization and, monitoring, amputation surgery to remove the destroyed limb, pain management, antibiotics, and ongoing hospitalization. Despite everything he has endured, Duke still tries to lift his head when spoken to. There is a softness in him, a trust that somehow survived the trauma. Your donation will go directly toward Duke’s emergency treatment and surgery. Every contribution helps ease his suffering, restore his strength, and give him the future he deserves. Duke has already survived the unthinkable. With your help, he can survive and thrive.

Meenu’s Pain Was Silent — But Impossible to Ignore

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

When the Stray Animal Foundation of India rescue team found Meenu, she was suffering in a way no animal ever should. A thick metal wire was embedded deep into her neck, cutting through skin and muscle. We don’t know how it happened — whether someone placed it intentionally or if she became trapped — but we do know one thing: Meenu had been in agony for months. Day after day, she carried this wire, unable to escape it, unable to cry out for help in a way anyone could understand. The wound was infected, raw, and dangerously close to becoming life-threatening. Our veterinarians acted immediately. They carefully removed the wire, treated the infected tissue, and began the long process of helping Meenu heal. She is now safe, receiving wound care, antibiotics, pain management, and the gentle rest she has been denied for far too long. But Meenu’s recovery is far from over. Her wound is deep, and she will need continued hospitalization, daily cleaning and dressing changes, medication, and monitoring to prevent further infection. Her body — and her spirit — deserve every chance to fully heal. Your donation will go directly toward Meenu’s ongoing medical care and recovery. Every gift, no matter the size, helps remove the last traces of her pain and guides her toward a future filled with comfort, safety, and love. Today, you can be her voice — and her healing. 1/17/26 Update After enduring months of unimaginable pain with a metal wire embedded deep in her neck, Meenu is now recovering really well. Since the wire was safely removed, her body has begun to heal, and the infection is responding to treatment. She continues to receive daily wound care, antibiotics, pain management, and close veterinary monitoring — and the improvement has been steady and reassuring. For the first time in a long while, Meenu is resting without constant agony. Her strength is returning, her wound is showing healthy signs of healing, and her gentle spirit is finally getting the chance to recover alongside her body. While this progress gives us hope, Meenu still needs ongoing medical care to ensure her wound fully heals and that no secondary infections develop. Continued hospitalization, medications, dressing changes, and follow-up care are essential to her recovery. 💛 Please consider donating today to support Meenu’s continued care. Every contribution goes directly toward her medical treatment and helps ensure that her recovery stays on track. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Meenu’s story is another powerful way to help. Thank you for giving Meenu the chance to heal and for being part of her journey from suffering to safety.

Rescued From Abuse: Help Aira Recover and Hold Abuser Accountable

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Aira’s life changed in an instant. A kind neighbor witnessed a man brutally beating two tiny stray puppies in the street. Their cries echoed through the neighborhood — desperate, terrified, and pleading for help. Our Baw Baw rescue team rushed to the scene. One puppy managed to escape in fear, but we were able to save the other. That puppy is Aira. When we reached her, Aira was trembling in shock. Her back legs were limp, and she could barely move. Right now, she urgently needs X-rays, intensive veterinary care, and the quiet, gentle time required to recover from both physical trauma and emotional devastation. No puppy should ever go through what she endured. We helped the witness file a police report against the abuser, and we are committed to pursuing the case in court to ensure he receives the maximum punishment. Aira deserves justice — and a chance at a life filled with safety and compassion. But she cannot heal without help. Your donation will go directly toward Aira’s diagnostics, pain management, hospitalization, and ongoing treatment as we fight to help her walk again and learn that humans can be kind.

Jagan

Jagan is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Jacksonville , FL, who needs $2,000 for vet care for malformed legs.

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Jagan’s life has been full of silent suffering—but now he finally has safety and love. When Stray Animal Foundation of India found him, this gentle street dog was struggling to survive with severely deformed legs. We suspect he was once the victim of a terrible accident but, like so many street animals, he never received any veterinary care. His legs healed in the wrong way, leaving them permanently malformed and making it impossible for him to live a normal life on the streets. Because of his condition, Jagan will remain in our sanctuary for life. Here, he is safe from hunger, neglect, and cruelty. He has a warm place to rest, daily meals, and caretakers who make sure he is loved. But his lifelong care comes with costs: food, medical attention, monthly preventives, special veterinary support for his unique needs, and the sanitation and hygiene that keep him healthy. By donating, you are helping us give Jagan the dignified, comfortable life he deserves. Though his body has endured so much, his spirit is gentle and resilient. With your support, we can ensure that Jagan never knows suffering again. Update 11/27/25 We are happy to share a small update this Thanksgiving! – Jagan is taking small strides each and every day in our sanctuary, although he still has a ways to go. He will never fully recover or improve from his leg condition, but here, he finally has a place to call home—a safe, peaceful environment where he is cared for every single day. Jagan’s lifelong sanctuary care depends entirely on the kindness of people like you. Because Jagan will remain with us for life, so will his needs. Your donation today helps ensure that this gentle soul continues to live free from pain, fear, and hunger. Thank you for believing in animals like Jagan—those who cannot be “fixed,” but who absolutely can be loved.

Urgent Ear Surgery Needed to Stop Samosa’s Painful Hematoma

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

When Samosa was rescued from the streets by the Stray Animal Foundation of India, he was quietly suffering. His ear was painfully swollen from an aural hematoma—an internal blood blister caused by repeated trauma or infection, common in street dogs who are left untreated for even the simplest of injuries. Samosa’s condition needs urgent attention. He requires diagnostics to assess the full extent of his condition, surgery to drain and repair his ear, and neutering to ensure his future is safer and healthier. Without this care, his ear could become permanently damaged or lead to chronic pain and infection. Despite everything he’s been through, Samosa is gentle, trusting, and full of heart. Lulu Was Found Alone and Injured on the Streets — This Sweet, Fluffy Pup Needs Urgent Treatment for a Gruesome Neck Wound

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Lulu is tiny. Fluffy. The kind of dog that looks like she belongs curled up on a warm blanket, not abandoned on the streets to fend for herself. But that’s exactly what happened. This sweet Pomeranian mix was found all alone—scared, in pain, and with a gruesome wound on her neck. A wound so severe it had become infested with maggots. It’s the kind of injury that doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. It takes neglect. And most of all, it takes someone walking away and deciding not to care. But finally, someone did care. They stepped up to be Lulu’s voice, and Stray Animal Foundation of India stepped in the moment they got notice. Lulu was rushed to the vet, where her wound was cleaned and she began receiving the care she so desperately needed. Today, she remains on pain relief and antibiotics, and is slowly but surely starting to feel “herself” again. Once she’s strong enough, she’ll be spayed—one more step toward a future where she’s never forced to bring more lives into the world just to suffer the way she has. But Lulu’s road to healing isn’t just medical. It’s as physical as it is emotional, and getting there will take time. Please donate if you can. Share her story if you can’t. Every ounce of support helps give Lulu the healing, safety, and love she’s always deserved. Update 9/15/25 Lulu's wound has fully healed! She was just spayed since she was finally healthy enough and we are happy to report that she is now available for adoption.

Poor Pup Left to Rot: Severely Emaciated, Wounded, & Covered in Maggots

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Jelly was abandoned. It was clear she was suffering—and had been for some time. By the time she was rescued, Jelly’s condition was heartbreaking. She was so weak, she couldn’t even muster the strength to stand. Her bones protrude from her fragile, frail body, which is also peppered with wounds. Wounds which, sadly, had become infected and infested—with live maggots burrowing into her skin. Thankfully, Jelly is now safe with rescuers of Stray Animal Foundation of India. The maggots have now been removed, her wounds are being cleaned daily, and bloodwork has been sent-out for CBC, liver, and kidney function tests. And to avoid refeeding syndrome, she is also on a careful feeding plan to help her body adjust. But this kind of care doesn’t come easy—and it doesn’t come cheap. Jelly’s road to recovery is just beginning. It will take time. It will take medical care. It will take resources and support far beyond just that of the rescue. Jelly needs a Village—and she deserves one too. The goal is to raise $2,000 to help cover her diagnostics, ongoing treatment, and recovery care. Every ounce of support gets us one step closer to doing just that. ❤️

Heartlessly Dumped—Paralyzed Pup Left Scared, Motionless, & Alone

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

He was left like garbage—motionless and alone. By the time our team found Tom, an older Pomeranian, it was barely sunrise. He had been dumped directly outside our shelter gates. No note. No explanation. Just…dumped. He wasn’t moving, and at first, we thought he might have already passed. But then we saw his eyes—barely open, filled with confusion and pain. When we tried to gently lift him, we realized the truth: Tom couldn’t use his front legs. He couldn’t walk. He couldn’t even sit up. Tom is now safe at Stray Animal Foundation of India, receiving medical care, love, and comfort he needs for his second chance. We’re doing everything we can to figure out what happened to his legs—whether it was trauma, neurological, or something else entirely. Diagnostics and X-rays are underway. And no matter what those results show, Tom won’t be alone again. If he regains use of his legs, we’ll find him the perfect forever home. And if he doesn’t, he’ll remain with us - loved and protected - for the rest of his life. His vet care, imaging, and long-term support are expensive. We’re currently trying to raise $3,000 to cover to cover his diagnostics, treatments, and care. Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to helping this sweet boy feel safe, comfortable, and cared for again.

A Little Puppy, A Big Fight: Help Raksha Heal from Her Severe Injuries

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Meet Raksha, a tiny street puppy found in heartbreaking conditions on the busy streets of India. She was discovered with painful wounds and a severe fracture, likely caused by being run over by a vehicle. Despite her traumatic experience, Raksha still holds on to the hope of a better future, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Stray Animal Foundation of India. An x-ray revealed the extent of her injuries — a fracture that requires strict rest and care. As she is still very young, the veterinarians have placed her in a bandage and prescribed strict cage rest to ensure she doesn’t injure herself further. While there is hope she will heal with time and patience, there is a possibility that surgery may be necessary if her condition doesn’t improve. Raksha is still very fragile. She is fighting against the odds, but we can’t let her fight alone. Your contribution will directly support Raksha’s treatment, including: ongoing medical care, x-rays, and any necessary surgeries, pain management and wound care, a safe and comfortable space to recover during her strict cage rest, and food and hydration to keep her strong as she heals. Please consider donating and being a part of Raksha's healing journey. You can help her get the medical attention she needs, so she can run and play without pain again. Update 5/8/25: Thanks to emergency veterinary care, weeks of treatment, and a lot of love, Raksha’s wounds have healed and her leg is no longer broken. She will always have scars — both visible and invisible — that tell the story of what she’s survived. But what’s most remarkable is this: Raksha's spirit was never broken. Despite everything she endured, Raksha remains playful, affectionate, and full of life. Her tail wags at the slightest attention. She chases butterflies. She cuddles with her rescuers. She lives — with joy and gratitude and hope. Raksha’s medical bills, rehabilitation, and ongoing care have been significant. Donate today to be part of Raksha’s journey from abandoned to adored. Together, we can show her that her life matters — and that kindness can rewrite even the saddest story.
