Help Tank Get Back on His Feet

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Tank should be running, playing, and enjoying life with the family who loves him. Instead, he is struggling to walk comfortably because he has torn cranial cruciate ligaments (CCLs) in both knees. ### Tank's problems began with a limp and difficulty using one of his back legs. When his condition continued to worsen, veterinary evaluations revealed that both of his knees were affected by CCL tears. Because Tank is young and weighs 70 pounds, these injuries have severely impacted his mobility and quality of life. His veterinarians have recommended TPLO surgery to stabilize his knees and help him regain comfortable, functional movement. Tank will need surgery on both knees. The estimated cost is approximately $5,000 per knee, with the first surgery needed for the completely torn ligament and the second planned about two months later. He will also need follow-up care and rehabilitation during his recovery. ### Tank isn't just a pet—he is his mom's companion and family. Watching such a young dog struggle to walk, play, and enjoy everyday activities has been heartbreaking. His mom has been doing everything she can to keep him comfortable while searching for a way to afford the surgeries he desperately needs. Now, she is asking for help raising $5,000 toward Tank's first surgery. Tank has so much life ahead of him. He just needs a chance to get moving again. Every donation brings Tank closer to the treatment he needs and the possibility of walking, running, and playing comfortably again. If you can't donate, sharing his fundraiser can make a tremendous difference. ### Paws 4 A Cure is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing financial assistance for urgent veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout the United States. Help Blinky Heal and Find His Way Back Home

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Last week, Blinky escaped and was either hit by a car or injured by another animal. His family isn't sure exactly what happened, but they know the little dog they love came home badly hurt, with broken bones in his foot and leg. After being evaluated, Blinky's veterinarians determined that the damage to his left rear leg is so severe that amputation is necessary. His surgery is estimated to cost approximately $985, and he will also need to be neutered and receive additional care as he begins his recovery. ### Blinky came into his family's life after they learned that a friend's dog had puppies. The moment their children saw his pictures and videos, they fell in love with the adorable little ball of fur. Today, Blinky is so much more than a pet. He is their baby, their companion, and a beloved member of the family. The thought of Blinky losing his leg is heartbreaking, but his family knows that getting him out of pain and giving him the chance to heal is what matters most. They want nothing more than to see him healthy again, running and playing in the yard with the people who love him. Blinky has a difficult journey ahead, but losing a leg doesn't mean losing his ability to live a happy, active life. With the surgery and proper care, this little dog can have the chance to leave his pain behind and get back to being the playful companion his family adores. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Blinky closer to the care he desperately needs. If you're unable to donate, sharing his fundraiser can help his story reach someone who can. ### Paws 4 A Cure is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing financial assistance for urgent veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout the United States. Help Leon Tigs III Keep His Cancer in Remission

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

At 13 years old, Leon Tigs III has already given his mom 13 years of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Now, this beloved senior cat is fighting for more time. Leon was diagnosed with advanced-stage multiple myeloma, a rare form of cancer, in December 2025. At the time, he was deteriorating rapidly, suffering from severe anemia, extreme weakness, and difficulty breathing. His condition was frightening, and his family wasn't sure how much time they had left with their beloved boy. But Leon wasn't ready to give up. Thanks to dedicated veterinary and oncology care, Leon has now been in clinical remission for six months. His family is determined to do everything possible to keep him there. Leon’s treatment plan includes daily Prednisolone, a chemotherapy pill called Cytoxan every few weeks, regular bloodwork, and ongoing appointments with his veterinary oncologist. Depending on the frequency and care required, his oncology expenses can range from approximately $214 to $619 every 6–8 weeks. His mom is now trying to raise $2,000 to help cover Leon's cancer treatment through the remainder of 2026. For Leon's mom, this isn't simply about saving a beloved pet. Leon has been her constant companion for 13 years and has helped her through her own difficult medical journey. She describes him as her emotional support, her little comedian, and a source of comfort through some of the hardest moments of her life. She has already charged approximately $8,000 in veterinary expenses to make sure Leon could receive the care he needed. Now, she is asking for help so she can continue his treatment without taking on even more debt. Leon has already fought his way into remission. Please help his family give him the chance to stay there. Every dollar brings this beloved boy one step closer to more precious time with the person who has loved him since the day she brought him home If you can't donate, sharing Leon's fundraiser can be just as valuable and may help connect his family with someone who can. Help Casper Find Relief From Painful Dental Disease

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Casper, an adorable 8-year-old Siberian Husky from Pennsylvania whose goofy personality and loving heart have made him the center of his mom’s world. But right now, this sweet senior boy is facing painful dental problems that have made it difficult for him to eat, play, and simply enjoy the things he loves. It all started when Casper’s mom noticed something was wrong. He was showing unusual signs of pain and discomfort while eating, and his normally playful personality suddenly changed. He didn’t want to run or play, which was completely out of character for this happy Husky. A veterinary examination revealed swollen gums surrounding one of Casper’s teeth—a concerning sign that he may have an abscess or a fractured tooth. To determine exactly what is happening and treat the problem, Casper needs a sedated oral examination, a complete dental assessment, and the necessary treatment, which may include extraction of the affected tooth. His estimated veterinary bill is $2,595. For now, Casper has been prescribed daily gabapentin to help manage his pain, but medication can only provide temporary relief. The underlying dental problem still needs to be addressed, and Casper is unfortunately not eating consistently. ### Casper’s mom is doing everything she can to get her beloved boy the care he needs. But after recently losing her job while also facing difficult family health news, the cost of his treatment has become overwhelming. Thanks to a generous $200 grant from Paws 4 A Cure and the funds already raised, Casper’s remaining fundraising goal is $1,700. Every donation will help bring Casper closer to receiving the veterinary treatment he desperately needs—and closer to being his goofy, playful, pain-free self again. Casper’s mom says: > “He isn't just a pet; he is my best friend, my safe place, and the heart of my family.” For eight years, Casper has been there for his mom with endless love, comfort, and companionship. Now, he needs his family and a community of caring supporters to be there for him. 🐾 Will you help give Casper the gift of relief? A tax-deductible donation of any size can help Casper get the dental treatment he needs and prevent his painful condition from getting worse. If you can’t donate, sharing his fundraising campaign could help it reach someone who can. Together, we can help this sweet Husky get through this painful chapter and get back to doing what he does best—being his mom’s goofy, loving best friend. 💜 🐾 Paws 4 A Cure Needs Your Help Paws 4 A Cure is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing financial assistance for urgent veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout the United States. Nori Needs Surgery to Keep Her Family Whole

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Nori, a sweet 7-year-old Dachshund mix from Florida who has been a loyal companion, protector, and beloved member of her family for years. Now, this devoted little dog needs her family to be there for her. Nori's journey began when her mom rescued her stray mother, Cinnamon, who later gave birth to Nori. From the very beginning, Nori was meant to be part of this family—and she has spent the past seven years filling their lives with love. She has traveled across the country with her mom, been her constant companion, and became a beloved protector and childhood friend to her granddaughter. During thunderstorms, Nori would hide under the blankets with her family, always finding comfort in the people she loved most. But recently, everything changed. Nori's family discovered a mass near her anus. She was initially treated with medication for an infection, but the mass has remained and now needs to be surgically removed. Her surgery is estimated to cost approximately $800–$920. Thankfully, Nori's family has already received a $400 grant, but they still need to raise an additional $400 to help cover the remaining cost of her surgery. For Nori's mom, this isn't simply a veterinary bill. Nori is her ride-or-die companion, her granddaughter's childhood protector, and the best friend she never knew she needed. She wants nothing more than to give Nori the medical care she needs and keep their family together. 💜 Will you help give Nori the gift of more time? Your donation can help Nori receive the surgery she needs to remove the mass and get back to the life she loves—filled with blankets, family, adventures, and the people who have always been there for her. Help Felix Make the Transition to Insulin

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

🐾 Paws 4 A Cure Needs Your Help Meet Felix, a sweet 12-year-old tuxedo cat from Kansas who has been by his mom’s side since he was just a kitten. For more than a decade, this goofy, affectionate boy has been a beloved companion, cuddle buddy, and source of comfort. Now, Felix needs help managing a serious health condition so he can continue enjoying the life he loves. Felix was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus in 2023 after developing neuropathy in his back legs caused by high blood glucose levels. Since then, he has been managing his diabetes with an oral medication. But his treatment needs have now changed, and his veterinarian has recommended transitioning Felix to Glargine insulin, along with continued monitoring to make sure his blood sugar stays under control. The estimated cost of his new treatment is approximately $263 per month, creating an ongoing financial challenge for his family. Felix’s mom is raising $400 to help cover the veterinary care and treatment needed to get him safely started on insulin. For Felix’s mom, he is so much more than a pet. She has had him since kittenhood, and he has been her constant companion through the years. She describes him as a “puppy cat” because of his friendly personality—he greets people with a lick on the hand and has never met a stranger. Alongside his sister Jewels, Felix has been a source of emotional support and unconditional love. “Felix is my cuddle buddy, my friend, my baby. He looks at me with those loving eyes and makes me feel like everything is going to be OK.” Now, his family wants to make sure Felix can continue receiving the treatment he needs to manage his diabetes and enjoy more happy years together. 💙 Will you help Felix get started on the insulin treatment he needs? Lotus's Story “Lotus, our sweet floofy floof needs a little help to get through an upcoming surgery. Anything would help to make sure she receives the care needed. Lotus (a taurus of course) just turned 5 years old. She is our beloved Pomsky and has brought so much love to our lives. She keeps us busy and is a joy to all she meets. In June of this year, I took her into our local vet because I noticed she had an inflammation near one of her back teeth. Lotus is always smiling and she didn’t seem bothered when I got near it. I can tell it must be uncomfortable for her though. When our vet quoted a large amount, I knew I needed to be proactive for her. She is my best friend, and I will do anything to help her. I got a second opinion and was able to get Lotus scheduled for surgery. I am worried that she may need the higher amount quoted which is a financial hardship for me at this time. We got Lotus in 2021, and in 2022 I got into a car accident that caused a concussion and chronic pain which caused me to lose my job. I have been able to get back to work but only part time. Lotus is my EMS animal, and she has been so helpful to me and my daughter. We are beyond grateful for her. Lotus brings a smile to anyone she meets. Please let us help keep her beautiful smile strong and healthy. We are still in need of $1,162 to fulfil the full estimated cost. She is still just a baby, but instead of spending her days chasing toys and discovering the world, Misty has been fighting a serious illness that has left her needing intensive, around-the-clock care. After only a week in her new home, Misty became very sick. Her veterinary team has been working to determine exactly what is causing her ongoing gastrointestinal problems, and she recently tested positive for intestinal coronavirus. She has already needed antibiotics, probiotics, an enema, IV fluids, blood work, deworming treatment, and her distemper vaccination. Her care continues as her family and veterinarians work to get her stable and stronger. At home, Misty's mom is caring for her around the clock. She has to keep this tiny kitten clean as she struggles with constant diarrhea, keep her warm, feed her small amounts at a time, and carefully monitor her condition. It is exhausting and heartbreaking—but Misty's mom refuses to give up on her. “As long as she is still breathing, I will not give up on her.” Misty's mom is deeply attached to her sweet kitten and is doing everything she can to give her the chance to grow stronger. But the cost of repeated veterinary visits, diagnostics, medications, and supportive care is overwhelming for a low-income family. Help Mango Smile Again: Painful Dental Disease Is Stealing His Joy

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

At first glance, Mango looks like the picture of health—a vibrant orange tabby with a larger-than-life personality and a heart full of love. But behind his bright eyes, this sweet 5-year-old cat has been quietly living with excruciating pain. "Mango came into my life in the most unexpected way. At just two weeks old, he was found alone beneath a car—tiny, bloated, constipated, and the brightest shade of orange the Humane Society staff had ever seen. They joked that he looked just like a mango, and the name stuck. Today, Mango is five and a half years old, and he has grown into the most loving, social cat imaginable. At our previous home, he had a daily routine that brought smiles to everyone around him. Every morning, he would make his neighborhood rounds, visiting each neighbor as if checking in on old friends. He greeted fishermen at the docks in hopes of earning a fresh snack, napped on boats, lounged in the branches of the mango tree, and somehow managed to become everyone's favorite cat. He's always been pure sunshine. Over the past year, though, I noticed changes. Mango became more vocal, started marking around the house, and wasn't as welcoming with visitors. I assumed he was stressed from our recent move and all the changes in our lives. I never imagined he was trying to tell me he was in pain. When I finally looked inside his mouth, my heart broke. His gums were covered in painful ulcers and severe infection. If they're touched, they immediately bleed. His veterinarian diagnosed him with Eosinophilic Granuloma, which triggered advanced periodontal disease. By the time we found it, the damage to his back teeth was already irreversible. Now the only way to stop his suffering is surgery. His veterinarian estimates the dental procedure will cost between $1,050 and $1,300, depending on how many teeth ultimately need to be removed. Unfortunately, dental procedures like this are rarely covered by grants, even when they're medically necessary. Looking back, I realize Mango spent an entire year quietly enduring pain. Instead of crying out, he coped the only way he knew how—comforting himself by suckling his favorite blankets and trying so hard not to take his discomfort out on his feline sisters. He deserves better. This surgery won't just remove infected teeth—it will give Mango his comfort back, protect him from worsening jaw damage, and allow him to enjoy life again without constant pain. I have loved Mango since he was a tiny kitten hiding beneath that car. He truly is the brightest part of my life, and anyone who meets him falls in love with him just as quickly. If you're able to help, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness will help give Mango the chance to smile, play, cuddle, and live the happy, pain-free life he deserves." ## Mango has spent months silently suffering. With your support, he can finally receive the surgery that will free him from constant pain and allow him to get back to being the joyful, affectionate cat everyone knows and loves. Every donation makes a difference. And if you can't give today, sharing Mango's story could help save his smile.

Cookie Beat One Surgery. Now She Needs Your Help to Finish Her Fight

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Eleven-year-old Cookie has been by her mom's side since the very beginning. Her mom helped deliver Cookie when she was born, and from that day forward, the tiny Chihuahua became more than a pet—she became family, a constant source of love through life's highest highs and lowest lows. Recently, that bond was put to the test. What started as a small lump on Cookie's abdomen quickly grew larger, leading veterinarians to diagnose mammary masses. Her family knew she needed surgery, but when Cookie was finally in the operating room, the veterinary team discovered the tumor was much larger than expected. The procedure became more extensive than anyone had anticipated, requiring a much larger incision and significantly increasing the cost of her care. Thankfully, Cookie made it through surgery and is now on the road to recovery. Her devoted mom is incredibly grateful to everyone who has already helped make this lifesaving procedure possible, but she's still left with a remaining veterinary balance of $482 that she cannot cover on her own. "She is my best friend, my ride or die," her mom shares. "She has been there with me at my best and my worst. She is the light of my life. Her energy and quirkiness are the best." Blind, Brave, and Still Smiling: Help Buddy Get the Insulin That Keeps Him Alive

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Buddy has been his mom's faithful companion since the very moment he entered the world. Now, after eight wonderful years together, this sweet Rat Terrier mix is facing the biggest challenge of his life. In April, Buddy was diagnosed with diabetes—a lifelong disease that requires daily insulin injections to keep him alive. After weeks of trial and error, glucose monitoring, and adjusting his treatment plan, Buddy is finally responding well to his medication. But staying healthy comes at a cost his family is struggling to afford. Buddy's ongoing medical care—including insulin, syringes, and regular glucose curve monitoring—costs approximately $156 every month. His devoted mom is hoping to raise $600 to help cover the next several months of the medication he depends on every single day. As if diabetes wasn't enough, Buddy has also recently lost his vision. Remarkably, he hasn't let it steal his joy. He still navigates his home with confidence, greets his mom with his signature smile, and continues to show the same gentle, loving spirit that has made him her "Champion" since he was a puppy. Buddy's story began the day his mom helped deliver him after rescuing his mother. They've been inseparable ever since. > "When I named him Buddy, I had no idea just how perfect that name would end up being. He's the sweetest guy you'd ever want to meet. I've always called him my Champion. He smiles so big sometimes I think he might actually laugh. He's compassionate, kind, and he is my world." > His mom has done everything she can to give Buddy the care he deserves, but the ongoing costs of managing diabetes have become overwhelming. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure Buddy never has to go without the insulin that keeps him healthy and by his mom's side. Your support will help provide the medication and monitoring he needs so they can continue making precious memories together. Help Tipper Get the Surgery She Needs to Live Without Pain

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For eight years, Tipper has been more than just a pet—she has been a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a lifeline through life's hardest moments. Now, this sweet girl needs someone to be there for her. Tipper, an eight-year-old Domestic Shorthair from Pennsylvania, has been diagnosed with painful bladder stones that are making every day a struggle. After her mom returned home from a trip in late June, she immediately knew something was wrong. Tipper was lethargic, uncomfortable, and no longer acting like the happy cat she had always been. Her veterinarian confirmed the heartbreaking diagnosis: bladder stones. Since then, Tipper has been treated with prescription urinary food, antibiotics, and pain medication in hopes of avoiding surgery. Despite these efforts, the stones remain, and they continue to cause her pain. Surgery is now the only option to remove the stones, relieve her suffering, and prevent potentially life-threatening complications such as a urinary blockage. The procedure is estimated to cost $1,369.25, and after contributing what she can, Tipper's devoted mom still needs to raise $1,000 to move forward with the surgery. Tipper's story is one of love and second chances. Years ago, she belonged to one of her mom's home health clients, who was heartbroken when allergies made it impossible to keep her. Rather than see Tipper surrendered to a shelter, her mom opened her heart and gave her a forever home. That decision changed both of their lives. When her brother passed away in 2022, Tipper became her constant source of comfort, quietly staying by her side through grief and helping her heal one day at a time. Help Love Find Relief from Years of Ear Pain

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For the last five years, this sweet 9-year-old German Shepherd mix has been living with chronic ear infections that have progressively worsened despite years of veterinary care. What began as recurring infections has now developed into severe, end-stage ear disease in her left ear. Both of her ears have suffered painful hematomas, and every day is filled with discomfort. Love constantly scratches at her ears, shakes her head, pants from the pain, cries, and paces anxiously because she can't find relief. Recently, her condition became even more frightening. The infection caused her to lose her balance, develop a severe head tilt, and experience facial paralysis on one side. She began walking in circles, stopped eating and drinking, and became so weak that her family had to carry her outside just so she could use the bathroom. Her veterinarian has worked tirelessly to help, but the medications they've tried haven't been enough. Now, Love urgently needs additional diagnostics—including sedation for a thorough ear examination, bloodwork, and an ear culture—to determine the best course of treatment. Once the underlying cause is identified, her veterinary team can prescribe the medications she desperately needs to finally bring her relief. The total cost of Love's diagnostics and treatment is estimated at $751. Thanks to a generous $300 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, much of the expense has already been covered. Her devoted owner now needs to raise the remaining $451 so Love can move forward with the care that could finally end years of suffering. Love is more than a pet—she's family. Her owner shares that Love came into her life during one of the most difficult times she had ever faced. Through trauma, heartbreak, and healing, Love never left her side. She has been a constant source of comfort, unconditional love, and emotional support. Now, when Love needs help the most, her family is doing everything they can to give her the same love and care she has always given them. Your donation today will help cover Love's remaining veterinary costs so she can receive the diagnostics and treatment she urgently needs. Every gift, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to comfort, healing, and a better quality of life. Please donate today and help Love finally find the relief she deserves.

Priscilla Beat the Odds Before. Now a Brain Tumor Is Threatening Her Life

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For 17 years, Priscilla has filled the lives of those around her with love, comfort, and plenty of sass. This beautiful Siberian/Maine Coon mix has already overcome incredible challenges in her lifetime, but today she is facing her toughest battle yet—a pituitary brain tumor that is stealing her ability to walk and threatening the precious time she has left. When Priscilla suddenly collapsed and could no longer stand, her devastated mom rushed her to emergency veterinarians and specialists at NC State Veterinary Hospital. After extensive testing, Priscilla was diagnosed with vestibular ataxia caused by a pituitary tumor. For a moment, it seemed like everything might be over. Thankfully, steroids have helped reduce the swelling around the tumor, allowing Priscilla to walk again and bringing back glimpses of the feisty, affectionate cat her family knows and loves. But this improvement is only temporary. The medication eases her symptoms—it cannot stop the tumor from growing. Now, Priscilla urgently needs stereotactic radiation therapy, a highly targeted treatment designed to attack the tumor while protecting the surrounding healthy brain tissue. Her veterinary specialists believe this offers her the best chance for more quality time with the person who loves her most. The cost of treatment is overwhelming. After contributing everything she can, receiving help from family, and securing a generous grant from Paws 4 A Cure, Priscilla's mom is still facing $7,585.75 in veterinary expenses she simply cannot cover alone. Priscilla has proven she's a fighter before. She previously conquered hyperthyroidism through radioactive iodine therapy and returned to living a happy, healthy life. Her family refuses to give up on her now while there is still hope. Priscilla came into her mom's life when she was at risk of losing her home and being surrendered to a shelter. Instead, she found a family who promised to love her forever. Through life's happiest moments and its hardest days, Priscilla has been a constant source of comfort, filling every day with gentle purrs, playful antics, and unconditional love. Now she needs that love returned. Your donation will help give Priscilla access to the life-saving radiation therapy she desperately needs. Every gift—no matter the size—brings her one step closer to treatment and the chance for more cherished memories with the family who adores her. Please donate today to help give Priscilla the opportunity to keep fighting. If you're unable to give, sharing her campaign with friends and family can make an incredible difference. Together, we can help this remarkable senior cat receive the care she deserves before time runs out.

A Couch Search Led to a Best Friend—Now Buddy Needs Your Help to Keep Wagging

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Sometimes the greatest treasures are found when you aren't looking for them. When Buddy's mom went to pick up a couch she found online, she left empty-handed—but her heart was completely full. Instead of furniture, she met an energetic, happy-go-lucky Hound mix who couldn't stop wagging his tail. His owner was facing a move and desperately needed to find him a loving home. Without hesitation, Buddy's new family welcomed him into their lives. It didn't take long to realize they had gained far more than they ever expected. Since that day, Buddy has brought endless laughter, unwavering companionship, and unconditional love to his family. Now, this sweet seven-year-old boy needs that same love returned. Buddy has developed multiple painful masses on his body, including a concerning growth on his left front leg. His veterinarian has recommended surgery to remove four masses and send them for biopsy to determine exactly what Buddy is facing. The procedure is critical—not only to relieve his discomfort, but to help guide any future treatment he may need. The good news is that Buddy's veterinarian is optimistic and believes he can make a full recovery following surgery. The only thing standing in his way is the cost. Buddy's surgery is estimated at $1,488. Thanks to a generous $400 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, only $188 more is needed to cover the remaining balance required for Buddy to move forward with this lifesaving procedure. Buddy's family is doing everything they can, but as a low-income household, they simply can't shoulder this unexpected expense alone. To them, Buddy isn't "just a dog." He's the heart of their daily routine, the source of their smiles, and the loyal companion who has been by their side through life's ups and downs. Today, you can be there for Buddy. Your tax-deductible donation—whether it's $10, $25, or any amount you're able to give—brings Buddy one step closer to the surgery he urgently needs. Every dollar helps give him the chance to heal, find answers, and get back to living the joyful life he deserves. If you're unable to donate, sharing Buddy's fundraiser with your family and friends is another meaningful way to help. Thank you for believing in dogs like Buddy and for giving this beloved best friend the opportunity to enjoy many more happy, tail-wagging years with the family who loves him so deeply. 8/12/26 Update We’re so happy to share a final update on our sweet Buddy—and, most importantly, to say thank you. Because of the incredible generosity of everyone who supported Buddy’s fundraiser, he was able to receive the surgery he needed to remove his concerning masses. His veterinary team removed multiple masses from his left front leg, chest, and axillary area, with several submitted for histopathology. A large lipoma was also removed from his chest. From the moment Buddy unexpectedly found his forever family, he has filled their lives with happiness, companionship, and unconditional love. When he needed them most, they did everything they could to give that love back to him—and thanks to you, they didn't have to face the financial burden alone. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared his story, and helped make his care possible. Every contribution, no matter the amount, was a reminder that Buddy's life matters and that there are people willing to stand beside animals and families when they need help most. Mam Has Endured Enough Pain—Help Her Smile Again

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Mam has already been through one major dental surgery, but her battle with chronic oral pain isn't over yet. This sweet Tennessee kitty suffers from stomatitis, a painful inflammatory disease that causes severe inflammation inside a cat's mouth. Even after having most of her teeth removed last year, Mam continues to struggle with pain every time she tries to eat. Now, she needs one final surgery to remove her remaining teeth so she can finally live the comfortable, pain-free life she deserves. Mam's journey began eight years ago on a rainy day when her mom found her alone, huddled inside an overturned trash can. She was just a tiny kitten with nowhere to go. That single act of kindness changed both of their lives forever. Since then, Mam has become so much more than a pet. Her mom says, "Mam is my absolute world, and her unconditional love gives me the strength to get through every single day." When Mam was diagnosed with severe stomatitis, her veterinarian performed extensive dental extractions in September 2024, hoping that leaving seven healthy teeth would be enough to keep her comfortable. While some cats do well with a few remaining teeth, Mam unfortunately continues to experience painful inflammation that makes eating difficult. Her veterinarian now believes removing those final seven teeth is the best path forward. The good news is that cats adapt incredibly well to having no teeth, and her veterinarian is optimistic that this surgery will finally provide the lasting relief she's been waiting for. The estimated cost of Mam's final dental surgery is $750. Thanks to the generosity of Paws 4 A Cure, a $300 grant has already been awarded, leaving $450 still needed to move forward with treatment. ## Every gift directly supports Mam's journey toward a pain-free life, including: Dental extractions and oral surgery – Removing Mam's remaining seven teeth to eliminate the source of her chronic pain. General anesthesia and monitoring – Keeping Mam safe and comfortable throughout her procedure. Pain medications – Helping her recover comfortably after surgery. Surgical supplies and dental equipment – Providing the specialized care needed for her procedure. Recovery care – Ensuring Mam heals properly and can return to eating comfortably. Every dollar brings Mam one step closer to eating without pain, grooming comfortably, and enjoying the happy life every cat deserves. Mam has spent the last eight years filling her mom's life with unconditional love and companionship. Now it's our turn to help Mam. Your tax-deductible donation will help give this resilient girl the final surgery she needs to leave chronic pain behind for good. If you're unable to donate today, sharing Mam's fundraiser is another wonderful way to support her journey. Thank you for standing with Mam, her devoted mom, and Paws 4 A Cure. After Escaping a Painful Past, Buddy Now Faces the Fight of His Life

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Buddy has already overcome so much in his eight years of life. Now, this sweet German Shepherd-Golden Retriever mix is facing another heartbreaking challenge—one he can't overcome without your help. When Buddy was rescued at just 18 months old, he was terrified of men and fearful of the world around him. He even had unexplained fresh stitches, leading his mom to believe he had suffered abuse before they found each other. With patience, love, and time, Buddy slowly learned to trust again. Today, he's a gentle, affectionate companion who has become a beloved member of his senior apartment community, making friends wherever he goes. His mom says they rescued each other. Earlier this year, she noticed a lump growing on Buddy's right front leg. After a veterinary examination, the devastating diagnosis came back: soft tissue sarcoma, a cancerous tumor that will continue to grow if left untreated. To give Buddy the best chance at a long, comfortable life, his veterinarian has recommended surgery to remove both the tumor and the surrounding tissue to reduce the risk of it returning. His surgery is scheduled for August 21, and every day counts. Buddy's mom is a low-income senior living on a fixed income. She has already sacrificed what she could, paying $300 out of her own pocket to secure Buddy's surgery date. Thanks to the generosity of Paws 4 A Cure, a $400 grant has been awarded toward Buddy's care. Another organization has also pledged support, but there is still $1,350 needed before Buddy can receive the lifesaving surgery he urgently needs. Buddy's surgery is estimated to cost $2,679, which includes the specialized care needed to safely remove his cancerous tumor. Your donation helps cover expenses such as: Surgical removal of Buddy's soft tissue sarcoma General anesthesia and surgical monitoring Pain management before and after surgery Surgical supplies and sterile equipment Hospitalization and recovery care Post-operative medications and follow-up treatment Every dollar brings Buddy one step closer to a cancer-free future. Buddy has already proven that love can heal emotional wounds. Now he needs compassionate supporters to help heal his physical ones. Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure this resilient boy can undergo the surgery he desperately needs and continue enjoying the life he fought so hard to find. If you're unable to donate today, sharing Buddy's fundraiser with friends and family is another meaningful way to help. Thank you for standing beside Buddy, his devoted mom, and Paws 4 A Cure. Ruby Darling

Ruby Darling is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Pennsylvania, who has severe dental disease and needs $550 for the remaining of her teeth extracted.

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Ruby Darling has already beaten incredible odds. Once a frightened feral cat wandering the streets of Pennsylvania, she has transformed into a loving companion who finally knows what it means to be safe. But today, this sweet four-year-old tabby is facing a painful battle that she cannot overcome without help. When Ruby first appeared in her caregiver's backyard, she was one of more than 30 community cats receiving food and care through a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. After her spay surgery, it became clear that Ruby was something special. With months of patience, gentle encouragement, and unconditional love, the frightened stray who once kept her distance slowly learned to trust. She became "Ruby Darling"—a name that perfectly reflects the affectionate cat she is today. Not long after her rescue, Ruby began losing weight and drooling excessively. A veterinary examination revealed severe dental disease, and she underwent surgery to remove several teeth. Her caregiver spent nearly $700 to give Ruby relief, hoping the procedure would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't. Within months, Ruby was once again struggling to eat and living with constant pain. She has now been diagnosed with severe gingivitis and stomatitis—a debilitating inflammatory condition that makes every bite painful. The only way to give Ruby lasting relief is a full-mouth extraction. Without surgery, Ruby will continue to suffer every day. Despite the pain she lives with, Ruby's gentle spirit continues to shine. She has blossomed into a loving indoor cat who enjoys affection and has formed an incredible bond with the person who refused to give up on her. As her mouth became too painful for her to groom herself, her caregiver lovingly bathed her and cared for her matted coat, discovering that Ruby adored the gentle attention. Today, she even happily allows her ears to be cleaned—a remarkable level of trust for a cat who once feared all human contact. Because of her medical condition, Ruby can never return to life outdoors. Her caregiver is committed to giving her a lifetime of love and care, but the cost of her surgery is overwhelming. Ruby's dental procedure is estimated to cost $1,363. Thanks to a generous $300 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, a portion of her treatment has already been covered, but we still need to raise $550 to help make her lifesaving surgery possible. Your donation will help provide: 🐾 A full-mouth dental extraction to eliminate Ruby's chronic pain 🩺 Follow-up veterinary examinations 💊 Pain medications and post-operative care during recovery Ruby has already survived life on the streets. She has learned to trust, to love, and to believe that people can be kind. Now she deserves the chance to eat without pain, groom herself comfortably, and enjoy the happy, healthy life every cat deserves. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. Every contribution brings Ruby Darling one step closer to living pain-free. If you're unable to donate, sharing her story is another powerful way to help. His once-healthy coat has been replaced by inflamed, irritated skin, painful hair loss across his back and shoulders, and raw, itchy ears that have become infected. Help Luna Keep Her Seizures Under Control

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For six years, Luna has been a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love. This adorable Morkie (Maltese–Yorkshire Terrier mix) came into her mom's life during one of the most difficult times imaginable. Adopted as a young puppy after experiencing trauma, Luna blossomed into a happy, spirited little dog with a playful personality, endless affection, and just the right amount of sass. Through her mom's own ongoing health challenges, Luna has been a constant source of companionship and hope. Now, Luna needs her mom—and all of us—to help her continue living a healthy life. Almost one year ago, Luna suffered her first seizure. What initially looked like choking quickly turned into a terrifying medical emergency. After multiple seizures, she was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital, where she was ultimately diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. Thanks to medication, Luna's seizures are now being managed, giving her the chance to continue enjoying the life she loves. But epilepsy is a lifelong condition that requires careful monitoring to keep her treatment both safe and effective. Every six months, Luna must undergo complete bloodwork, including a CBC, chemistry panel, and phenobarbital level testing. These tests allow her veterinarian to ensure her medication is working properly, monitor for potential side effects, and make adjustments if needed. Without this ongoing care, Luna's health—and even her life—could be put at risk. The cost of each six-month monitoring appointment is $840, and her family is asking for help covering these essential veterinary expenses. Luna's mom is unable to work due to her own declining health, and after exhausting her savings, she is doing everything she can to provide the care Luna needs. She is incredibly grateful for the organizations and compassionate supporters who have already helped them through this journey, but Luna's ongoing medical care remains a significant financial challenge. Despite everything they've faced together, Luna continues to greet each day with joy, energy, and love. Her veterinarian is optimistic that with continued monitoring and treatment, she can continue living a happy, fulfilling life. Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure Luna receives the bloodwork and medication monitoring she needs to keep her seizures under control and continue being the loyal companion her mom depends on every day. If you're unable to donate, sharing Luna's fundraiser is another meaningful way to help. Every share gives her story the opportunity to reach someone who can make a life-changing difference. Her veterinarian has recommended urgent dental surgery to remove the diseased tooth and repair the area to allow it to heal properly. Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For 14 years, Scorpio Anne has filled her family's life with unconditional love, comfort, and unwavering loyalty. Affectionately known as "Big Mama," this gentle Pit Bull Terrier has been a devoted protector, loving companion, and the heart of her home ever since her mom welcomed her into the family years ago. Now, when Scorpio Anne needs her most, her mom is doing everything she can to help her through the fight of her life. Earlier this summer, Scorpio Anne's mom noticed blood coming from her paw. A closer examination revealed several masses, and thanks to the support of another nonprofit organization, she was able to have biopsies performed. The results brought both heartbreak and hope. Two of the masses are benign, but one is cancerous. Thankfully, her veterinarian believes Scorpio Anne has an excellent chance for a good recovery—but only if all three masses are removed as soon as possible. Until then, Scorpio Anne continues to live with painful, bleeding growths that require frequent bandage changes just to keep her comfortable. Watching her beloved best friend endure this every day has been incredibly difficult for her mom, who simply wants Scorpio Anne to spend her senior years surrounded by love instead of pain. The surgery to remove the masses is estimated to cost $3,068.99. Thanks to a generous $200 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, part of her care has already been covered, but her family still needs to raise $2,500 to move forward with surgery, medications, and post-operative care. Help Millie Beat Cancer and Keep Living the Life She Loves

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Millie has already overcome impossible odds once in her life. Now, she's facing the biggest fight yet. This sweet two-year-old Pit Bull mix was born after her pregnant mother was rescued from horrific conditions on a property where more than a dozen dogs were suffering. Just days after arriving safely at the shelter, Millie entered the world with a second chance already waiting for her. It didn't take long for her dad to fall completely in love. What was supposed to be a quick visit to "just look" at the puppies turned into finding his best friend. Millie's calm, gentle spirit immediately stood out. Today, she's an 80-pound cuddle bug who adores little dogs, is incredibly patient with children, and never wants to be far from the people she loves. Now, that joyful life has been turned upside down. After losing her appetite and becoming seriously ill, Millie was diagnosed with mediastinal lymphoma. She immediately began chemotherapy, but the journey has been anything but easy. Along the way, she developed a severe infection that required hospitalization and nearly claimed her life. Thankfully, Millie pulled through—and she's still fighting. She is now about halfway through her chemotherapy treatment, with at least two more months ahead. Her veterinary team remains hopeful, but she still needs ongoing chemotherapy, bloodwork, medications, and close monitoring to give her the best chance at achieving remission. The total cost of her treatment is estimated at $7,000. Help Rex Run, Hike, and "Talk" Again

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Rex has always been the heart of his family. This sweet seven-year-old Siberian Husky is known for his gentle personality, his striking mismatched eyes, and the hilarious "Husky conversations" that keep his family smiling every single day. Whether he's out on a hike or simply spending time with the people he loves most, Rex brings endless joy to everyone around him. But in an instant, everything changed. After an unexpected injury, Rex was diagnosed with a painful cranial cruciate ligament tear (similar to an ACL injury in people). His family still doesn't know exactly how it happened, but they do know one thing: watching their beloved boy struggle to walk has been absolutely heartbreaking. The active life Rex once loved has been put on hold. His veterinarian has recommended TPLO surgery, the gold standard treatment for this type of injury, and is optimistic that Rex can make a full recovery and return to the happy, adventurous life he deserves. The procedure is estimated to cost $5,300, and while his family has worked hard to raise funds, they still need $3,065 to move forward with his surgery. Like so many loving pet parents, Rex's family never imagined facing such a costly medical emergency. They are doing everything they can, but they can't do it alone. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Rex one step closer to a pain-free future—where he can run, hike, and fill his home with his signature Husky "talks" once again. If you're unable to donate, sharing Rex's fundraiser can make just as much of an impact by helping his story reach more compassionate animal lovers. Together, we can give Rex the second chance he deserves. Thank you for supporting Rex and his family.

Harley Beat Cancer Once—Please Help Keep Him in Remission

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Five years ago, Harley was given a second chance when he was rescued. Since then, he has spent every day proving just how much love one dog can give. To his mom, Harley isn't "just a pet." He's her best friend, her constant companion, and the source of unconditional love that's carried her through life's hardest moments. Now, Harley needs her more than ever. Earlier this year, his mom noticed several swollen lymph nodes and rushed him to the veterinarian. After extensive testing, Harley received devastating news: multicentric lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer that can progress rapidly without treatment. There was no time to wait. Harley immediately began the CHOP chemotherapy protocol, giving him the best chance to fight back against this terrible disease. And then something incredible happened. Harley responded beautifully to treatment and achieved remission. But his fight isn't over yet. While remission is an amazing milestone, Harley still needs 11 additional chemotherapy treatments to give him the best chance of keeping the cancer under control and enjoying many more happy years with the person who loves him most. Without completing treatment, the cancer is far more likely to return. The cost of Harley's remaining chemotherapy—including Vincristine, Cyclophosphamide, and Doxorubicin—is overwhelming. His devoted mom has done everything possible to keep his treatment going, and Paws 4 A Cure has stepped in with a grant to help. Even so, thousands of dollars in medical expenses remain, leaving Harley's future uncertain. Harley has already shown that he can beat the odds. Now he simply needs the opportunity to finish the treatment that's giving him hope. Please consider making a donation toward Harley's chemotherapy today. Every dollar helps provide another treatment, another tail wag, another walk, another memory, and another day with the family who loves him beyond measure. If you're unable to donate, sharing Harley's story is another powerful way to help. Together, we can help Harley stay in remission and continue enjoying the life he fought so hard to keep.

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For 11 years, Stoney has been a beloved companion, loyal friend, and cherished member of his family. His mom rescued him as a tiny kitten when she found him sick, underweight, and struggling with green discharge coming from his eyes. She took him in, nursed him back to health, and from that day forward, Stoney became her constant source of comfort and joy. Now, this sweet senior cat needs help once again. Throughout his life, Stoney has battled chronic ear problems, including recurring ear infections and painful polyps. He has already undergone multiple procedures to remove the growths, but they continue to return, causing ongoing discomfort and affecting his quality of life. After years of treatment, Stoney's veterinarian has recommended a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy, a specialized surgery designed to remove the diseased tissue responsible for the recurring polyps and give him the lasting relief he deserves. The good news is that his veterinary team is optimistic about his prognosis and expects him to recover well following surgery. The challenge is the cost. Stoney's mom is doing everything she can to provide the care he needs, but unexpected veterinary expenses have become overwhelming. She needs help raising the remaining $500 needed to move forward with this important procedure. Despite his chronic health issues, Stoney remains the affectionate, playful cat his family adores. He still loves snuggling with his mom and playing with his favorite toys, and he brings comfort and happiness not only to her but also to her grandchildren. Stoney has spent his life helping his family through difficult times. Now it's our turn to help him. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly toward Stoney's surgery and give him the opportunity to live free from the pain and frustration of recurring ear infections. Cloud Survived Kidney Failure—Now He Needs Help Healing

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

For the past 14 years, Cloud has been more than a pet—he has been a constant source of comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. Adopted from St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines in 2012, this handsome Maine Coon has stood faithfully by his mom's side through years of disability and difficult times. As her emotional support companion and best friend, Cloud has always been there when she needed him most. Now, Cloud needs her—and all of us. In April 2026, Cloud suddenly became critically ill and was diagnosed with bilateral ureteral obstruction, a life-threatening condition that was causing his kidneys to fail. Without immediate intervention, he would not have survived. To save his life, veterinarians performed an emergency Subcutaneous Ureteral Bypass (SUB) surgery. Thanks to this lifesaving procedure, Cloud was given a second chance. But his journey is far from over. Since surgery, Cloud has faced several painful complications, including chronic recurring cystitis, seroma formation, and anemia. He continues to experience discomfort and requires ongoing pain management, diagnostic testing, bloodwork, urine cultures, medications, and close veterinary monitoring to help maintain his quality of life. Cloud's mom is doing everything she can to provide the care he needs, but as someone living on a fixed Social Security income due to disability, the cost of his continued treatment has become overwhelming. Despite these financial challenges, giving up has never been an option. Cloud is family. He is a beloved companion who has provided comfort, stability, and unconditional love through life's hardest moments. Now, his mom is asking for help to ensure he can continue receiving the care he needs to stay comfortable and keep fighting. The goal is to raise $2,000 to help cover Cloud's ongoing veterinary expenses, including follow-up examinations, bloodwork, urinalysis and urine cultures, medications, treatment for post-surgical complications, pain management, and future monitoring related to his SUB surgery. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support Cloud's care. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps ease the financial burden and brings Cloud one step closer to healing. If you're unable to donate, sharing Cloud's story can make a tremendous difference. 6/23/26 Update We are thrilled to share some wonderful news about Cloud. After months of uncertainty, recovery, follow-up appointments, testing, and treatment, Cloud is doing well and no further treatment is needed at this time. His veterinary team is pleased with his progress, and he is finally able to put this difficult chapter behind him. When Cloud became critically ill with bilateral ureteral obstruction, his future was uncertain. The emergency SUB surgery that saved his life was just the beginning of a long recovery that included complications, ongoing monitoring, and many anxious moments. Through it all, Cloud's loving mom remained by his side, determined to give her best friend every chance possible. Today, Cloud is back where he belongs—at home, surrounded by love and enjoying the comfort and companionship he has shared with his family for the past 14 years. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared his campaign, sent kind words, and helped support Cloud during his recovery. Your generosity helped ease a tremendous financial burden and ensured that he received the care he needed every step of the way. Because of your support, Cloud was able to receive lifesaving treatment and the follow-up care necessary to reach this milestone. We could not have done it without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Cloud's journey and helping this beloved Maine Coon continue enjoying the life he shares with the person who loves him so much. Give Gonzo More Time: Help Fund Life-Saving Radiation Treatment

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Six-year-old Gonzo isn't just a dog—he's family, best friend, therapist, and the heart of a loving household. Now, this sweet Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, and Belgian Malinois mix is facing the fight of his life. Just weeks ago, Gonzo's parents noticed something was wrong. The energetic, tennis-ball-obsessed dog who had always been by their side began stumbling and losing his balance while playing. Concerned, they rushed him to specialists, where an MRI revealed devastating news: Gonzo has an inoperable brain tumor known as a meningioma. Without treatment, veterinarians have told his family that Gonzo may only have months to live. But there is hope. His veterinary team believes radiation therapy can significantly improve both his quality of life and prognosis. They are optimistic that with treatment, Gonzo can continue doing what he loves most—chasing tennis balls, making his family laugh, and creating precious new memories. The challenge is the cost. Radiation treatment is estimated to cost between $13,661 and $14,411. Paws 4 A Cure has generously provided a $300 grant, but Gonzo's family still needs help raising $8,400 to move forward with the care that could save his life. For Gonzo's parents, this diagnosis came at an especially emotional time. Just five days after learning about Gonzo's brain tumor, they received life-changing news of their own: they are expecting their first child. Now, amid the excitement of preparing for a new baby, they are facing the heartbreaking possibility of losing the dog who has been with them through every major chapter of their lives. Gonzo entered their lives as a young dog and quickly became their constant companion. Together, they survived a serious car accident, a devastating apartment fire, displacement, illness during the COVID pandemic, and the loss of a beloved family member. Through every hardship, Gonzo was there—offering comfort, companionship, and a reason to keep moving forward. When life felt overwhelming, Gonzo would gently remind them to put their worries aside, grab a tennis ball, and find joy in the moment. His family describes him as the glue that holds them together. Now Gonzo needs them—and all of us. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide the radiation treatment that could give Gonzo more time with the people who love him most. More time for walks. More time for tennis balls. More time for cuddles. More time to be there when his family's newest member arrives. Most importantly, your support could help make one beautiful moment possible: giving Gonzo the chance to meet the baby he is already so deeply loved by. If you are unable to donate, please share Gonzo's story. Every share helps bring him closer to the lifesaving treatment he urgently needs. Please donate today and help Gonzo continue being the heart of his family for years to come.

Help Loki Survive This Life-Threatening Urinary Emergency

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Loki, a sweet and spirited four-year-old cat who is now fighting for his life after developing a severe urinary obstruction and complications from FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). What started as a few days of lethargy quickly turned into a heartbreaking medical emergency that no family was prepared for. Loki’s mom rushed him to the emergency vet after realizing something was terribly wrong. He was diagnosed with a painful urethral obstruction — a condition that can quickly become fatal without immediate treatment. Since then, Loki has already undergone catheterization procedures twice after suffering repeat blockages. Now, veterinarians suspect a urethral tear, and Loki is also battling severe anemia, even after receiving a blood transfusion. Right now, Loki remains hospitalized under close veterinary supervision. He requires ongoing intensive care, including urinary catheter management, constant monitoring of his PCV levels, medications, and supportive treatment to keep him stable while doctors determine when he will be strong enough for the next step in his care — a lifesaving PU surgery that could prevent future blockages. The cost of Loki’s emergency hospitalization and continued treatment has already reached $6,289.56, and it continues to grow each day he remains in critical care. Thankfully, Paws 4 A Cure has stepped in with a generous $400 grant, but Loki’s family still urgently needs help raising $2,194 to continue his treatment and give him the chance to recover. Loki is not just a cat — he is family. His mom has loved him since he was only a tiny kitten. One of their children owned Loki’s father, and the family instantly fell in love with him while helping care for the litter. Since then, Loki has grown into the goofy, clever, lovable companion everyone adores. True to his name, inspired by the Marvel character Loki, he is sneaky, smart, mischievous, and full of personality. He keeps everyone laughing with his antics and fills their home with joy and love every single day. His family cannot imagine life without him. Now they are doing everything possible to save him — but they cannot do it alone. Loki still has so much life ahead of him. His veterinarians remain hopeful, but time and continued medical care are critical. Every donation, no matter the size, helps cover his hospitalization, ongoing treatment, and the surgery he desperately needs to survive and avoid future painful blockages. This Brave Little Cat Deserves a Pain-Free Life

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Nemo, a playful two-year-old cat who has already overcome more challenges than most animals face in a lifetime — and now he urgently needs help once again. Nemo’s story began before he was even born. His mom had been rescued as a young stray, and shortly afterward, she gave birth to four kittens. During delivery, complications arose, and Nemo suffered a devastating injury: an umbilical strangulation around his ankle that caused him to lose his foot shortly after birth. At only four days old, his family rushed him to the emergency veterinarian, where they were told there was very little that could be done for such a tiny kitten besides antibiotics, wound care, and hope. His mom never gave up on him. With diligent care, Nemo healed and grew into a happy, affectionate, energetic cat who never let his disability slow him down. He became the heart of his family — cuddly, playful, and deeply bonded with both his mom and the family dog he adores. But now Nemo is facing another painful setback. A few weeks ago, Nemo injured the remaining portion of his leg. At first, his family hoped it would heal on its own with close monitoring and care. But after getting excited during mealtime, Nemo reopened the wound badly, leaving the damaged stump unable to heal properly anymore. His family spent the entire night desperately calling emergency veterinarians and surgical clinics searching for help. Thankfully, Shore Pet Surgery was able to schedule Nemo for surgery. The only way to permanently relieve his pain and restore his quality of life is to amputate the remainder of the leg. While the thought of surgery is heartbreaking, Nemo’s veterinarian is optimistic that he will recover beautifully and finally be free from the repeated pain and injuries he has been enduring. Cats adapt incredibly well to life on three legs, and this surgery will give Nemo the chance to run, play, cuddle, and enjoy life comfortably again. Nemo’s surgery, medications, e-collar, follow-up care, and suture removal will cost $550 — an amount that is difficult for his loving family to manage alone. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help Nemo receive the surgery he urgently needs. Every donation, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to healing and back to doing what he loves most: curling up in his favorite cuddle spot and playing pain-free with his best friend. If you are unable to donate, sharing Nemo’s story can still make a life-changing difference. Thank you for helping give this resilient little survivor the second chance he deserves. 6/11/26 Update We are thrilled to share that Nemo's surgery was a success, and he is doing wonderfully! After years of overcoming challenges and recently facing the painful injury to his remaining leg, Nemo finally received the surgery he needed to give him a comfortable, pain-free future. Thanks to the support of generous donors, Nemo was able to undergo amputation surgery and begin his recovery journey. The best news of all is that Nemo has healed beautifully. His family reports that he has not needed any follow-up care and is recovering like a champion. He is back to doing what he does best — running around the house, playing, and enjoying life without the pain that had been affecting him. As Nemo's mom shared, "Nemo was perfect. He hasn't needed any follow-up care and is running around the house happy. He is healing like a champ. I am overjoyed that he is no longer in pain." From the tiny kitten who survived a devastating birth injury to the resilient cat who has once again overcome the odds, Nemo continues to inspire everyone who meets him. His strength, determination, and joyful spirit have carried him through every challenge. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared his story, and helped make this outcome possible. Urgent Surgery Needed for Tank’s Cancerous Tumors

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Tank — a gentle, loving Pitbull whose family says he has been their real-life teddy bear through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Tank was adopted from a local animal shelter after this family experienced devastating loss. Their 12-year-old autistic son had recently lost his beloved therapy dog to incurable cancer, and the heartbreak was overwhelming. Hoping to help heal their son’s broken heart, they visited a shelter and met Tank. It was love at first sight. From the moment Tank came home, he became so much more than a pet. He became a source of comfort, emotional support, stability, and unconditional love for the entire family. His sweet, gentle personality helped this family through grief and difficult times, and his bond with their son is truly irreplaceable. Now, Tank needs them — and us. A few weeks ago, his family discovered a concerning lump on his body and rushed him to the veterinarian. Tank was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor (MCT), a painful and potentially dangerous form of skin cancer common in Pitbulls. Veterinarians also found another suspicious mass on his chest that may be another mast cell tumor. The good news is that Tank’s veterinarian is optimistic. If the tumors are removed quickly, Tank is expected to have a very good recovery and prognosis. But time is critical. Tank urgently needs surgery to remove the tumors before the cancer can progress further. The estimated cost of surgery and treatment is $2,171.96. Thankfully, Paws 4 A Cure has already provided a generous $400 grant, but Tank’s family still desperately needs help raising the remaining funds needed to move forward with surgery. His family is doing everything they can, but the cost of urgent cancer treatment is simply more than they can manage alone. Tank has spent years comforting this family through heartbreak and loss. He has never let them down, and now they refuse to let him down in return. Please consider donating to help Tank receive the life-saving surgery he urgently needs. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps give this sweet boy the chance to continue being the loving companion his family depends on every day. If you are unable to donate, sharing Tank’s story could help save his life. Thank you for helping give Tank the chance to beat cancer and stay with the family who loves him so deeply.

Help Empress Heal From a Severe Eye Infection

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Empress, a beautiful two-year-old Bengal cat whose gentle presence has become a lifeline for the family who loves her. Empress came into their lives during one of the hardest chapters they have faced. She was brought home to help comfort a 13-year-old girl struggling with depression and anxiety, and from the very beginning, Empress became so much more than a pet. She became a source of peace, stability, and unconditional love for the entire family. She curls up beside her during difficult moments. She brings laughter to her four-year-old sibling. In a home that has been navigating emotional challenges, Empress has been a constant source of comfort and calm. But now, Empress is the one in need of help. What began as mild redness around her eye quickly became much more serious. Her family rushed her to the emergency veterinarian, where she was diagnosed with severe conjunctivitis likely secondary to feline herpesvirus infection and anxiety. She is now receiving urgent treatment, including medication and ongoing follow-up care to help relieve her pain and protect her vision. Her medical care is estimated to cost $1,800. Thankfully, Paws 4 A Cure has provided a $400 grant, but her family still urgently needs help raising the remaining $1,400 needed for Empress’s treatment and recovery. Her family is doing everything they can, but the unexpected emergency costs are overwhelming. Empress has spent the last two years comforting this family through their darkest moments. Now it’s our turn to comfort her. Please consider making a donation toward Empress’s veterinary care. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide the medications, treatment, and follow-up care she needs to heal. If you are unable to donate, sharing Empress’s story can still make a tremendous difference. Thank you for helping this special girl get the chance to recover and continue being the loving companion her family depends on every day. 5/18/26 Update Thanks to the compassion and generosity of supporters like you, Empress received the urgent veterinary care she needed — and her family is incredibly grateful. When Empress first began showing redness and irritation around her eye, her family feared something was wrong. What initially seemed minor quickly turned into a serious medical issue requiring emergency veterinary attention, medications, and ongoing treatment to protect her comfort and vision. For this family, Empress is so much more than a pet. She has been a steady source of love, comfort, and emotional support during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. She has helped bring peace to a child struggling with anxiety and depression and joy to her younger sibling. The thought of losing her — or seeing her suffer — was heartbreaking. Because of your donations, Empress was able to receive the treatment she urgently needed. Her family no longer had to face this frightening situation alone, and Empress could begin healing surrounded by the people who love her most. From all of us, thank you for helping this beautiful girl get the care she deserved. Every donation, share, and kind word helped protect not only Empress’s health, but also the bond she shares with the family who depends on her so deeply. Your support truly made a difference in Empress’s life and in the lives of the people who love her.

Aspen Needs ACL Surgery to Walk Without Pain Again

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Aspen is a beloved six-year-old Golden Retriever who has been by her family’s side since she was a tiny ball of fur. Gentle, loyal, and always there to comfort the people she loves, Aspen is truly the heart of their home. Just weeks ago, everything changed. After a routine trip outside, Aspen suddenly began limping. Within a day, she could barely put weight on her back leg. Her family rushed her to the veterinarian, hoping it was something minor — but the diagnosis was devastating. Aspen has suffered a full ACL tear. This painful injury makes walking difficult, causes constant instability, and will continue to worsen without surgical repair. The only way for Aspen to regain her mobility and avoid long-term damage is with TPLO surgery, a specialized orthopedic procedure that will stabilize her knee and give her the chance to run and play comfortably again. Her family has already spent $850 on x-rays, bloodwork, and diagnostics just to get answers. Now they are facing a surgical estimate of $4,135, and still need to raise $2,750 to move forward with treatment. Despite pain medication, Aspen is struggling. Rest alone will not heal this injury. Without surgery, this sweet girl faces ongoing pain and a greatly reduced quality of life. The good news is that Aspen’s veterinarian expects a full recovery after surgery — meaning this procedure can give her her happy, active life back. Aspen has spent six years giving unconditional love to her family. Now they are asking for help to give that love back to her. Please donate today to help Aspen get the surgery she urgently needs and walk without pain again. Every donation brings Aspen one step closer to healing.

Storm

Storm is a 9 year old Siberian Husky in Florida who needs $5,000 for surgery to remove a mass on her liver.

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Sweet Storm should be spending her days doing what Siberian Huskies do best — enjoying the Florida sunshine, staying close to her mom, and soaking up every moment with the family she has loved for nearly a decade. Instead, this beautiful 9-year-old girl is facing the fight of her life. Storm was recently scheduled for what her family thought would be a routine procedure to remove a fatty lipoma from her leg. But during pre-surgical diagnostics, veterinarians discovered something no one was prepared for: multiple concerning masses on her liver. Further imaging confirmed the devastating news — Storm is suffering from a serious hepatic mass that now requires urgent surgical intervention. Without surgery, these masses could continue to grow, rupture, or severely impact her liver function, putting Storm’s life at risk. Her family was blindsided. Storm’s mom has had her since she was only 8 weeks old — a gift from her husband during one of the loneliest and most difficult transitions of military life, far away from family and everything familiar. Since that day, Storm has been more than just a dog. She has been a constant companion, a comfort during hard seasons, and a best friend through life’s ups and downs. Now Storm needs her mom the way her mom has always needed her. Specialists estimate Storm’s surgery and continued treatment will cost between $9,479 and $14,017, an overwhelming expense for any family to face without warning. A small grant has been secured, but there is still a critical funding gap standing between Storm and the surgery that could save her life. That is why we are asking for your help today. Every donation made toward Storm’s campaign goes directly toward the advanced veterinary care she urgently needs — diagnostics, surgical removal of the liver mass, hospitalization, pain management, and recovery support. Storm still has so much love left to give. She still has birthdays to celebrate, walks to take, and more years to spend beside the person who has loved her since puppyhood. Please help us give this loyal girl the fighting chance she deserves. No donation is too small to matter. And if you are unable to donate, sharing Storm’s story could help save her life by reaching someone who can. Together, we can help Storm get back to the family who cannot imagine life without her. 8/5/26 Update Storm's surgery was a success, and she is now back home with the family who has loved her since she was an eight-week-old puppy. Storm underwent a complex liver surgery that included the removal of a liver lobe containing the mass, along with additional mass removal and biopsy testing. She spent several days hospitalized receiving around-the-clock monitoring, pain management, medications, IV fluids, and supportive care before she was finally well enough to go home. While her road to recovery continues, Storm is already enjoying what she loves most—being surrounded by the people who never stopped fighting for her. After such a frightening diagnosis, having her safely home is the greatest gift her family could have hoped for. We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Storm's journey. Your generosity helped ease the burden of an overwhelming medical emergency and gave Storm access to the specialized care she desperately needed. Storm's hospitalization, surgery, diagnostics, medications, and recovery totaled more than $11,800, leaving her family with a remaining balance after payments and assistance. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement helped make this lifesaving treatment possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside Storm and her family during one of the most difficult moments of their lives. Your compassion gave this sweet girl the chance to continue making memories with the people who love her most. Because of you, Storm has many more walks to enjoy, more birthdays to celebrate, and more years of unconditional love to share. We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible community that helped make her happy ending possible.

Isla Mae Is Her Late Son’s Legacy—Now She Needs Urgent Surgery to Walk Again

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Isla Mae, a sweet 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mix who is facing a painful radius and ulna fracture after breaking her front leg on April 18th. After rushing her to the emergency veterinarian, X-rays confirmed the severity of the injury, and her leg was splinted for temporary stabilization. Isla Mae has now been referred to an orthopedic surgeon and urgently needs surgery to repair the break and give her the best chance at walking comfortably again. For Isla Mae’s mom, this little dog is so much more than a pet. Isla Mae originally belonged to her son, who passed away last year. Since then, caring for Isla Mae has been a source of comfort, healing, and connection to the son she lost. She is a living reminder of his love, companionship, and joy—and her mom is doing everything she can to keep that precious bond safe. But the cost of Isla Mae’s orthopedic surgery and follow-up care is overwhelming. Her treatment is estimated at $4,876.92. Thanks to a generous $400 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, a portion of her care has been covered, but Isla Mae still needs additional financial help to move forward with this critical procedure. Without surgery, Isla Mae risks ongoing pain, improper healing, and long-term mobility issues. Today, we are asking compassionate animal lovers to help give this special girl the second chance she deserves. Every tax-deductible donation made through Waggle goes directly toward Isla Mae’s veterinary care, helping relieve the burden on a loving mom who simply wants to see her son’s beloved companion healthy again. Ariel has been his dad’s heart for 15 years. Now he needs urgent help.

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Ariel is a beloved 15-year-old Chihuahua who has been by his dad’s side since he was a puppy — a constant source of comfort, companionship, and unconditional love through every hardship life has brought. Described as “love on four paws,” Ariel is more than a pet. He is family, best friend, and emotional support wrapped into one tiny dog with gentle brown eyes. But now Ariel is struggling with a painful condition that is taking a serious toll on his quality of life. What began as a small growth has slowly developed into a large inguinal mass that now causes discomfort, limited mobility, and daily burden. Veterinary specialists have determined that Ariel urgently needs surgery to remove the mass so he can be comfortable again and continue enjoying the life he deserves. Because Ariel also has a heart condition, he must undergo an echocardiogram prior to anesthesia to ensure the surgery can be performed safely. Without this medical care, Ariel’s pain and immobility will continue to worsen. The cost of Ariel’s life-saving diagnostics and surgery is estimated at $2,830. Paws 4 A Cure has generously committed a $400 grant, but Ariel’s dad still needs help raising the remaining funds needed to move forward. Living on a very limited income, he has already exhausted his resources simply trying to keep Ariel evaluated and stable. He is doing everything he can for the dog who has stood by him for 15 years — but he cannot get Ariel this surgery without help. Ariel is still full of love and still has time left to enjoy with his family. He deserves relief from this pain, not to spend his senior years suffering from a treatable condition. Your donation will help cover: • Pre-surgical echocardiogram • Surgical removal of Ariel’s inguinal mass • Anesthesia and monitoring • Post-operative veterinary care Every dollar helps give Ariel the comfort, mobility, and continued life his devoted family is fighting for. Over the years, Rorschach has been a protector in every sense of the word. He has defended his home from dangerous wildlife, watched over children and other animals, and most recently has become a gentle, loving companion to his dad’s young son. But now this devoted senior dog is in pain. Rorschach has a badly broken tooth that has become infected, causing painful swelling and discomfort. His family rushed him to the veterinarian, where he was started on antibiotics and pain medication, but this is only temporary relief. Veterinary specialists have confirmed that he urgently needs dental surgery, including multiple tooth extractions, to remove the source of infection and stop his suffering. Without surgery, the infection and pain will only continue to worsen. The estimated cost of treatment is up to $1,820, depending on how many damaged teeth need to be removed. Paws 4 A Cure is providing a $300 grant, but Rorschach’s dad still needs help raising the remaining funds to move forward. Lucky Can’t Eat—Help This 14-Year-Old Dog Get the Surgery He Desperately Needs

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Lucky has spent 14 years being exactly what his name promises—a survivor, a companion, and a deeply loved best friend. Rescued from a puppy farm all those years ago, Lucky finally got the life he deserved. Safety. Love. A home. Now, he needs help again. This sweet senior Chihuahua–Jack Russell mix is suffering from severe tooth root abscesses, and the pain is taking a devastating toll. He’s struggling to eat. He’s losing weight. And every day without treatment means continued suffering. His only path to relief is urgent dental surgery to remove the infected teeth—a procedure that will cost nearly $1,000. A generous $250 grant has already been provided, but there’s still hundreds of dollars left to raise before Lucky can get the care he desperately needs. And time matters. At 14 years old, Lucky doesn’t have the luxury of waiting. Dental infections don’t just cause pain—they can spread, worsen, and become life-threatening if left untreated. His mom is doing everything she can, but she can’t do this alone. In her words: "Lucky means the world to me. He’s my boy. I love him so much. He’s not eating, he’s losing weight, and I really need to get this done for him.” This is where you come in. Your donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward giving Lucky relief from pain, the ability to eat again, and more time with the person who loves him most. If you’ve ever loved a pet, you understand: They’re not “just animals.” They’re family. And right now, Lucky is depending on the kindness of strangers to get through this. Please donate today to help Lucky get the surgery he urgently needs. If you’re unable to give, sharing his story could be the reason he gets a second chance at comfort and healing. Meet Rosa, a beautiful nine-year-old Hemingway cat whose quiet, gentle love has been a constant source of comfort in her mom’s life. Today, that same sweet girl is in pain—and urgently needs your help. Rosa has been diagnosed with bilateral anal sacculitis, a severe and painful condition that has already required repeated, uncomfortable treatments just to manage. Despite multiple procedures, the problem keeps returning, leaving Rosa suffering and her mom searching for a permanent solution. That solution is surgery. A bilateral anal sacculectomy will remove the source of Rosa’s pain and give her the chance to live comfortably again. Her veterinarian is optimistic—once she has this surgery, Rosa is expected to make an excellent recovery and return to the happy, affectionate companion she’s always been. But there’s a heartbreaking obstacle: the cost. The procedure is estimated at $5,744. With the help of a $400 grant from Paws 4 A Cure and funds already raised, Rosa’s mom is still facing a gap of $3,000—a number that stands between Rosa and the relief she so desperately needs. Rosa is not just any cat. She has been by her mom’s side since she was just five weeks old, arriving with her twin brother, who tragically passed away within a year. She is companionship. She is family. And right now, she is hurting. Her mom has already done everything she can—enduring repeated vet visits, covering costs, and even raising half the surgical funds on her own. But she cannot do this last part alone. 💜 Your donation—no matter the size—can help relieve Rosa’s pain and give her the life she deserves. 💜 If you can’t donate, sharing Rosa’s story could help reach someone who can. $1,500 Stands Between Kona and Relief

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Kona — a devoted, gentle soul who has spent the last 13 years by his family’s side. Now at 15 years old, this sweet Pitbull mix should be enjoying his golden years in comfort. Instead, he’s in pain—and he needs our help. Kona is currently battling severe double ear infections, a painful abscess in his gum, and concerning facial swelling that may require further diagnostics. His discomfort is constant—head shaking, scratching, and the deep, lingering pain of infection that won’t resolve without medical care. His veterinary team has recommended urgent treatment, including a cytology and deep ear cleaning to identify and treat the infection at its source. Because of the severity, Kona will likely need sedation to safely and thoroughly clean his ears and relieve the pressure and pain. At the same time, his dental abscess must be addressed through a full oral exam, possible drainage, and potentially even a biopsy to rule out more serious conditions. These are not optional procedures—they are critical to easing Kona’s suffering and preventing his condition from worsening. Kona’s family is doing everything they can, but they’re facing significant financial hardship. After a recent medical diagnosis left his dad unable to work and a job loss impacted their household, affording this urgent care has become overwhelming. Thanks to a $250 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, part of Kona’s treatment is already covered—but he still needs $1,500 more to move forward with the care that will relieve his pain and give him comfort again. Kona isn’t just a pet—he’s family. He came into their lives during a difficult time, forming an instant bond that has only grown stronger over the years. He’s been their comfort, their joy, their constant. Now, he needs them—and us. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings Kona closer to the treatment he desperately needs. And if you’re not able to give, sharing his story can make all the difference. Please help us give Kona the relief he deserves. Help him heal. Help him rest comfortably again. Help Paulie Fight Heartworm and Get His Life Back

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Three-year-old Paulie should be chasing toys, wiggling with excitement, and living life like the playful pup he is. Instead, this sweet American Staffordshire Terrier is battling a painful and potentially fatal diagnosis: heartworm disease. Heartworm isn’t just dangerous — it’s incredibly hard on a dog’s body. Without treatment, it progressively damages the heart and lungs, making it harder to breathe, move, and ultimately survive. Paulie urgently needs life-saving Immiticide injections, but the cost of treatment is overwhelming: $3,244. Thankfully, there is hope. Paws 4 A Cure has generously provided a $400 grant, but Paulie’s family still needs to raise $2,844 to move forward with his treatment. Every day matters, and without help, his condition will continue to worsen. Paulie’s dad shared just how much this little survivor means to him: > “Paulie will soon be 4 and still acting like a puppy… When he seemed less energetic, I knew something wasn’t right. Hearing he was heartworm positive was devastating. He means too much to me to lose… He’s already a kill-list survivor — he’s been through enough.” Paulie’s treatment began April 1 and involves three powerful injections over three months, each requiring hospitalization and careful monitoring. It’s a grueling process, but it’s also his best chance at a full recovery. And Paulie isn’t just any dog — he’s a lifeline. After losing two beloved dogs, Daisy and Bella, to cancer within months of each other, Paulie’s dad was in a dark place. Then, by chance, he saw Paulie — a red-listed shelter dog at risk simply because he didn’t have a home. > “I knew I had to save him to save myself… Paulie means the world to me. He is my best friend. He is my support. Paulie is saving me.” Now Paulie needs us to save him. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly toward Paulie’s life-saving treatment. Every dollar brings him closer to healing, comfort, and the chance to run and play again — pain free. If you can’t donate, sharing Paulie’s story helps more people learn about his fight and brings hope within reach. Please consider donating today and giving Paulie the second chance he deserves. Help Enzo Fight Heartworm Disease

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Enzo, a lovable five-year-old German Shepherd from Georgia who is bravely battling heartworm disease — a serious and painful condition that requires urgent treatment. Without care, his health will continue to decline. But with help, Enzo can get back to doing what he loves most: running, playing, and enjoying life with his family. Enzo’s journey to safety began when he appeared on a shelter euthanasia list. His foster family saw his photo, noticed the gray on his snout, and couldn’t stop thinking about him — imagining their own dog in that position. When no one stepped forward by the deadline, they made the decision to foster him, giving Enzo a second chance at life. After leaving the shelter, Enzo faced several health challenges, including kennel cough and whipworms. During follow-up care, he was also diagnosed as heartworm positive. The diagnosis explained why he tired easily and needed extra rest — and it meant he would need immediate, specialized treatment. Enzo has already completed 30 days of doxycycline and has started preventative medication. His next step is melarsomine injections — the life-saving treatment that will eliminate the heartworms. Despite everything he’s been through, Enzo has settled into his foster home beautifully. He’s formed a close bond with his new canine sibling and has brought so much joy into their lives. His family is committed to giving him the long, healthy life he deserves — and your support can help make that possible. You can help Enzo heal. Every donation — no matter the size — goes directly toward his veterinary care and brings him one step closer to recovery. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing Enzo’s story or keeping him in your thoughts also makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for helping give this deserving dog the second chance he’s been waiting for. 4/25/26 Update We are so happy to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of Waggle donors, Enzo is now receiving the heartworm treatment he desperately needed. When Enzo left the shelter euthanasia list behind, his foster family promised him a second chance at life. But that second chance came with unexpected medical hurdles, including his heartworm diagnosis — a serious condition that would have continued to damage his heart and lungs without prompt intervention. Because of your support, Enzo is now able to move forward with the critical treatment plan his veterinarians recommended. This means he is one step closer to being heartworm-free, healthy, and able to enjoy the active, happy life every dog deserves. Heartworm treatment is a long process that requires careful monitoring, restricted activity, and patience, but Enzo is finally on the road to recovery — and that road was made possible by compassionate people like you who chose to help. His foster family is beyond grateful to know that finances will not stand in the way of giving Enzo the care he needs to heal. Thank you for helping transform Enzo’s rescue story into a true second chance. Your donations are giving this deserving boy the opportunity for many healthy years ahead filled with love, play, and safety. From all of us — and especially Enzo — thank you for making this healing journey possible.

It felt meant to be. That’s how Fate got his name — because their bond truly felt like destiny. Since then, they’ve been inseparable. In 2021, Fate experienced a terrifying urinary blockage. His mom rushed him to emergency care just in time, and he survived with catheterization and supportive treatment. They hoped it would be a one-time crisis. But now, five years later, Fate is facing the same life-threatening condition again — and this time, surgery is the only option. Fate has already undergone catheter placement and received IV fluids to prevent kidney damage, but he urgently needs surgery to prevent this painful blockage from happening again. Without it, his life is at serious risk. The total cost of his lifesaving procedure is estimated at $3,347. Thanks to a generous $400 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, and additional support already raised, Fate’s family is incredibly close — but they still need $500 to move forward with surgery. Fate isn’t just a pet. He’s a constant companion, a survivor, and a loyal friend who has been by his mom’s side for nine years. She can’t imagine her life without him — and she’s doing everything she can to give him the chance he deserves. 💜 Your tax-deductible donation can help save Fate’s life. Every dollar brings him closer to surgery, relief from pain, and many more years with the person who loves him most. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Fate’s story is another powerful way to help. The more people who see his journey, the closer he gets to healing. Together, we can give Fate the second chance he’s fighting for

This loving senior girl needed surgery to remove the mass and give her the best chance at comfort and recovery. Thanks to her devoted mom and veterinary team, Paisley has already undergone surgery and is now on the road to healing — but the financial burden has been overwhelming. Paisley’s surgery and care totaled $5,189.20. Paws 4 A Cure stepped in with a $300 grant, but her mom is still trying to raise an additional $550 to help cover the remaining expenses and continue Paisley’s care. Every contribution helps ease the strain and ensures Paisley gets everything she needs as she recovers. Paisley has been a cherished companion since 2014. The diagnosis was frightening, but doing nothing wasn’t an option. Paisley bravely underwent surgery on March 12th, and while she looked pitiful afterward, she’s now recovering and waiting for final pathology results to determine if further care will be needed. Her mom has already paid a significant portion out of pocket, but the cost of emergency surgery and follow-up care has become more than she can manage alone. She’s reaching out with hope — not just for financial help, but for support from a compassionate community that understands how much our animals mean to us. 💜 Your tax-deductible donation — no matter the size — helps Paisley continue healing. 🐾 Sharing her fundraiser also makes a huge difference by spreading the word. ✨ Every dollar brings Paisley one step closer to a comfortable, cancer-free future. Paisley’s next follow-up appointment with her veterinarian is scheduled for June 15th, where her medical team will evaluate how she is healing and monitor her progress moving forward. Help Mojito Heal: A Tiny Dog with a Huge Heart Needs Surgery

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Mojito, an 8-month-old Chihuahua from Tennessee whose tiny body is carrying a painful burden. Mojito has been diagnosed with bilateral inguinal hernias, a serious condition where tissue pushes through weakened areas in the abdomen. Without surgery, these hernias can become life-threatening. He also requires dental extractions, adding to his discomfort at such a young age. But if you met Mojito, you’d never guess how much he’s hurting. Mojito is more than a pet—he is the heart of his family. His dad describes him as their “baby,” their constant companion, and the light that brightens even the darkest days. When they walk down the street, strangers are drawn to him. People who seem stressed or weighed down by life can’t help but smile when they see his tiny body, wagging tail, and gentle, loving spirit. Mojito has a gift—he heals people. And now, he needs help to heal himself. His veterinarian is optimistic and believes Mojito is an excellent candidate for surgery with a strong chance at a full recovery. The procedure to repair his hernias and address his dental needs is estimated at $1,279.52. With support from Paws 4 A Cure and contributions already made, Mojito’s dad is now trying to raise the remaining $629.51 needed to move forward with this lifesaving care. Mojito’s dad works tirelessly as an Uber and Lyft driver, often taking on long hours and double shifts just to make ends meet. Despite doing everything he can, this unexpected medical emergency has pushed him beyond his limits. “It’s devastating,” he shares, “to work so hard and still feel like I’m failing to give my best friend the health he deserves.” Mojito is only a puppy. He should be playing, growing, and spreading joy—not living in pain. \### Your donation will help cover: 🐾 Hernia repair surgery 🐾 Necessary dental extractions 🐾 Anesthesia and medical care 🐾 Post-operative recovery and pain management Every dollar you give is tax-deductible and goes directly toward helping Mojito get the care he urgently needs. This isn’t just about a surgery. It’s about giving a young dog the chance to live pain-free, and helping a devoted family keep the little soul who brings so much love into their lives. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Mojito’s story can help him reach someone who can. Let’s come together to give this tiny healer the chance to keep spreading his light. 5/18/26 Update We are so happy to share that Mojito has officially received the surgery and dental care he needed! This brave little Chihuahua underwent successful surgery to repair his bilateral inguinal hernias along with the dental procedures that had been causing him discomfort. Throughout everything, Mojito continued to do what he does best: spread joy. But it was the incredible kindness and compassion of this community that made the impossible possible. Your donations, shares, encouragement, and support helped lift an overwhelming burden and gave Mojito the opportunity for a healthy future. Meet Belzara — a beautiful, spirited Samoyed who needs your help to stay healthy

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Belzara is an almost 9-year-old Samoyed from California with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Known for her playful “arooohs” and adorable front paw stomps, she brings joy to everyone she meets. She’s gentle, loving, and deeply cherished by her mom—her constant companion since she was just 8 weeks old. But right now, Belzara is facing a serious and urgent medical challenge. Belzara has been bravely living with diabetes since 2023. With consistent insulin, exercise, and careful monitoring, she was doing well—until recently. In late January, she began showing concerning symptoms: excessive thirst, frequent urination, and lethargy. A veterinary visit confirmed what her mom feared—her glucose levels are no longer under control, and her current insulin dosage is no longer effective. Without immediate intervention, Belzara is at risk of developing Diabetic Ketoacidosis, a life-threatening condition that can quickly become fatal. To stabilize her, Belzara urgently needs a glucose curve test, along with updated insulin, syringes, and ongoing monitoring. This critical care will allow her veterinary team to safely adjust her treatment and bring her glucose levels back into a healthy range—giving her the quality of life she deserves. The total cost of Belzara’s care is $1,115. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Paws 4 A Cure, a $300 grant has already been provided. We are now trying to raise the remaining $815 to ensure Belzara gets the care she urgently needs. Belzara’s mom has always done everything possible to give her a happy, healthy life. But after an unexpected and prolonged period of unemployment, she has exhausted her savings—including cashing out her IRA just to stay afloat. Now, while facing the possibility of losing their home, she is fighting just as hard to make sure Belzara doesn’t lose her health too. Through it all, Belzara remains her light—her joyful, sassy, loving companion who makes even the hardest days a little brighter. 💜 How you can help: - Make a tax-deductible donation toward Belzara’s medical care - Share her story to help us reach more compassionate supporters - Every dollar brings Belzara closer to stability, comfort, and continued life with the person who loves her most. Help Ginger Get the Surgery She Urgently Needs

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Ginger, a sweet seven-year-old French Bulldog from California who is facing a painful medical emergency. Ginger is suffering from a rectal prolapse and urgently needs colopexy surgery to correct the condition and relieve her discomfort. Just two months ago, Ginger’s veterinarian was able to temporarily treat the prolapse by placing it back inside and stitching it. At the time, her family was warned that if the prolapse happened again, surgery would likely be the only solution. Sadly, the condition has returned, and now Ginger needs surgery as soon as possible so she can live pain-free. Ginger’s veterinarian is optimistic about her prognosis and believes she is expected to recover well once the surgery is completed. Ginger’s story began in 2019 when she was rescued after being dumped by a breeder because she could not have puppies. When her mom brought her home, she promised Ginger that she would finally have the love and safety she deserved. Since then, Ginger has become much more than a pet — she is a cherished member of the family and a loyal companion to her mom and two children. As a single mom, Ginger’s guardian shares that Ginger has been a constant source of comfort and emotional support through difficult times. Her gentle, loving presence has helped bring stability, warmth, and joy to their home. Ginger’s surgery is estimated to cost $2,500. Thankfully, Paws 4 A Cure has already provided a generous $400 grant, leaving $2,100 still needed so Ginger can receive the lifesaving care she deserves. This loving family is doing everything they can, but they cannot do it alone. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help Ginger receive the surgery she urgently needs. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to relief and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Ginger’s page can help spread the word and connect her with more people who care. Together, we can help Ginger get the treatment she needs and keep this beloved dog where she belongs — safe at home with the family who loves her.
