Charity
Charity’s New Chapter: A Loving Foster Home—and a New Medical Need
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Charity has come such a long way since the day she was found frightened, frail, and desperately searching for food a year ago. After everything she endured, this sweet senior girl finally has something she has always deserved—a safe place to call home. Recently, Charity moved into a new foster home where she can receive something especially important: one-on-one attention and plenty of love. Her foster family quickly began getting to know her personality and noticed that Charity had been scratching at her ears more than usual. Concerned that something was bothering her, they took her back to the veterinarian for an examination. The veterinary team discovered that Charity has a yeast infection in both ears. She is now receiving prescription ear drops to treat the infection and help relieve the irritation and discomfort. For a senior cat already managing stage 3 chronic kidney disease, keeping up with unexpected medical needs is especially important. Charity's foster family is making sure she receives the treatment and monitoring she needs so she can stay as comfortable and healthy as possible. After surviving life on the streets, recovering from severe malnutrition, and receiving her CKD diagnosis, Charity has proven just how resilient she is. Now, she finally has a foster home where someone can notice the little changes, give her individualized care, and make sure she gets help when she needs it. But her veterinary expenses continue to add up. 💜 Please consider donating to help Adopt a Cat Foundation cover Charity’s ongoing medical care, including treatment for her ear infection and monitoring related to her kidney disease. Every contribution helps this deserving senior cat receive the care she needs. If you aren't able to donate, sharing Charity's fundraiser can help her story reach someone who can. Charity has already overcome so much. Now she deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for. Thank you for helping give this sweet girl the second chance she never should have had to fight so hard for. 🐾💜

Grandma
Grandma Survived the Streets. Now She Needs Your Help to Eat Without Pain.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
For years, a quiet gray cat known as Grandma has called a South Florida cat colony home. No one knows exactly how old she is, but her caretakers lovingly gave her the nickname "Grandma" because she appears to be the mother—and perhaps even the grandmother—to many of the younger cats who share the colony with her. While she has spent her life outdoors, Grandma isn't truly wild. Like so many community cats, she depends on the kindness of people to survive. For years, dedicated caretakers fed and watched over the colony. When those caretakers sadly passed away earlier this year, the future of dozens of cats was suddenly uncertain. Thankfully, members of the local rescue community stepped in to continue providing food and monitoring the colony's health. That's when they noticed Grandma was struggling. Instead of eagerly eating like the others, she began showing unmistakable signs of dental pain. Her tongue would hang out after trying to eat, and she made repeated chewing motions even when her mouth was empty. One of her teeth appeared to be sticking out, likely loose and incredibly painful. Her once-neat gray coat became unkempt, and she began losing weight—a heartbreaking sign that eating had simply become too painful. Getting Grandma to safety wasn't easy. Naturally cautious and frightened of people, she avoided the humane trap day after day. For three long days, volunteers patiently waited as every other cat wandered under the trap for a meal while Grandma stayed just out of reach. Finally, tempted by the irresistible smell of a sardine, she cautiously stepped inside—and the trap door gently closed behind her. Now, for the first time in years, Grandma has a chance to find relief. Adopt A Cat Foundation graciously stepped in to hold Grandma and ensure she receives the veterinary care she desperately needs. Next week, she will undergo a comprehensive dental procedure, where the veterinary team will examine her mouth, remove painful diseased or broken teeth, and finally free her from the constant pain that has made every meal a struggle. A healthy mouth means so much more than comfort. It means Grandma can eat without suffering, regain the weight she's lost, groom herself again, and return to her colony feeling like herself once more. After years of quietly raising generations of cats and surviving life on the streets, Grandma deserves this chance to heal. Your donation today will help cover Grandma's dental procedure and give this resilient colony matriarch the comfort she has gone far too long without. Every gift, no matter the size, brings Grandma one step closer to eating pain-free again. 8/10/26 Update After years of surviving outdoors and quietly caring for generations of cats in her colony, Grandma finally got the relief she so desperately needed. Grandma recently went in for her dental procedure, and veterinarians discovered that the loose front tooth causing her so much pain needed to be removed. Thankfully, the rest of her teeth were in great condition, so no additional extractions were necessary! While she was at the clinic, Grandma also received an updated rabies vaccination and a comprehensive SNAP test. We’re happy to share that she tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. ❤️ Most importantly, Grandma can finally eat without the constant pain that had made every meal such a struggle. No more chewing motions when there’s no food in her mouth, no more struggling with a painful loose tooth, and no more discomfort every time she tries to eat. Now that she has received the care she needed, Grandma can return to the outdoor colony she knows and loves. It’s where this cautious kitty is happiest and most comfortable—and she’ll be going back healthier, stronger, and pain-free. After everything Grandma has endured, she deserved this chance at comfort. Thank you for helping make Grandma’s care possible! Your generosity helped give this sweet colony matriarch the veterinary care she needed and ensured that she could return home feeling so much better. Every donation made a difference in Grandma’s journey from suffering to relief. 🐾❤️

Tom
Tom's Painful Infected Claw Requires Emergency Surgery
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Tom has spent far too much of his life simply trying to survive. As a senior cat living in an outdoor colony, Tom depended on the kindness of a dedicated caretaker who made sure he had food and looked after him. When that caretaker passed away, Tom's future became uncertain. Thankfully, Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in and brought him to safety. Since his rescue, we've learned that years of life outdoors took a toll on Tom's health. One of his ongoing struggles has been with his claws, which have become unusually thick and overgrown. Despite regular veterinary care, his claws have continued to cause discomfort and require close monitoring. Recently, Tom developed a painful infection in one of his dew claws. The claw had become severely damaged and infected, leaving him uncomfortable and at risk for worsening complications. After evaluating Tom, his veterinarian determined that the best course of action is surgical removal of the affected claw. Today, Tom is at the veterinary hospital undergoing this procedure. As a senior cat, Tom deserves to spend his golden years free from pain. We are committed to giving him the medical care he needs, but the costs are adding up. Since coming into our care, Tom has already required multiple veterinary visits, examinations, treatments, and ongoing monitoring. Now this unexpected surgery has created another significant expense for our small rescue. Adopt a Cat Foundation cares for many cats with nowhere else to turn, and every medical case stretches our resources further. Still, when a cat like Tom needs help, saying no is never an option. Tom is worth every effort, every appointment, and every dollar spent to keep him healthy and comfortable. Your donation will help cover the cost of Tom's surgery, veterinary care, medications, and follow-up treatment so he can recover comfortably and continue enjoying the safe, loving life he waited so long to find. Please consider making a gift today to help Tom heal. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference for a senior cat who finally has people fighting for him. 8/8/26 Update Sweet senior Tom has had another unexpected health challenge, but we finally have some answers—and thankfully, he is already feeling better! Tom recently returned to the veterinarian to have an abscess on his leg treated. While he was there, his veterinary team also investigated some other symptoms he had been experiencing. Bloodwork revealed that Tom is diabetic. His diabetes may help explain some of the changes we’ve been seeing in his coat and nails, including his dry, flaky skin and unhealthy-looking claws. With the right treatment and monitoring, however, Tom is already showing encouraging improvement. Tom has started insulin therapy, and his caregivers have noticed that he has perked up and is acting more like himself. Even better, his skin is no longer flaky! After spending so many years surviving outdoors, Tom deserves the chance to finally feel comfortable and healthy. His care will now include ongoing insulin, veterinary monitoring, and treatment for his other medical needs. 💜 Please consider donating to help cover Tom’s ongoing veterinary care and diabetes treatment. Every gift helps Adopt a Cat Foundation continue giving this sweet senior the care he needs to enjoy his safe, loving life. Tom has come so far—and we're thrilled to see him feeling better! 🐾

Asia
Asia Is Scratching Himself Raw and Needs Urgent Veterinary Care
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Asia, a gentle 20-year-old senior cat whose life was turned upside down after the heartbreaking loss of his beloved caregiver. After losing the only home and person he had known, Asia came to Adopt A Cat Foundation, where he is now surrounded by compassionate volunteers dedicated to making sure his remaining years are filled with love, comfort, and security. Despite everything he has been through, Asia remains incredibly affectionate and trusting. He loves being held, seeks out gentle pets and attention, and peacefully coexists with the other cats at the shelter. He has the kind of quiet, loving presence that instantly touches everyone who meets him. Asia has recently started scratching himself raw around his ears and face, raising concerns that he may be suffering from a painful ear infection or severe irritation. He will need further examination and treatment to determine the cause and help relieve the discomfort he is experiencing. At 20 years old, our goal for Asia is not perfection — it is comfort, dignity, and quality of life. We want his golden years to be peaceful, pain-free, and filled with the love he deserves after losing so much. Because of supporters like you, Asia will never have to feel abandoned or alone again. Please consider donating today to help us give this deserving senior cat the gentle care and love he deserves for the rest of his days. 6/7/26 Update At 20 years old, Asia continues to charm everyone he meets with his gentle nature and affectionate personality. After recently developing severe irritation around his ears and face, causing him to scratch himself raw, Asia was brought in for a veterinary examination to help determine the cause of his discomfort. The good news is that Asia has now been evaluated by his veterinarian and has begun treatment. He received medications to help address the inflammation and possible infection contributing to his symptoms, giving him some much-needed relief while his caregivers continue to monitor his progress. Additional follow-up testing, including bloodwork and parasite screening, has also been recommended to help ensure there are no underlying issues affecting his health. For a cat of Asia's age, every medical concern must be taken seriously. While many cats are fortunate enough not to reach their twentieth birthday, Asia is still enjoying attention from volunteers, seeking out cuddles, and reminding us every day just how special senior pets can be. After losing his beloved caregiver and the only home he had ever known, Asia has faced enormous changes late in life. Thanks to the support of compassionate animal lovers, he is receiving the care, comfort, and medical attention he deserves during his golden years. We are so grateful for everyone who has donated, shared his story, and kept him in their thoughts. Your kindness is helping ensure that Asia's remaining years are filled with dignity, comfort, and love.

Solo
Sweet Solo Needs Veterinary Care After Being Saved Just in Time
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Solo, a sweet and affectionate cat who narrowly escaped losing his life at the county municipal shelter. Solo found himself on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter was overcrowded and resources were limited. But while staff were evaluating him, it was clear that Solo was also dealing with a painful injury. He has a bite wound on his front leg — likely caused by a dog attack — and the surrounding tissue is swollen and inflamed. Although he began treatment while still at the shelter, he urgently needed rescue and continued veterinary care. Now safe with us at Adopt a Cat Foundation, Solo will be seeing our regular veterinarian for follow-up care to assess the extent of the injury, manage infection and pain, and determine whether additional treatment or diagnostics will be needed. At this time, Solo is barely putting weight on the injured leg, suggesting he may be in significant discomfort. Despite everything he has been through, Solo remains incredibly loving and gentle. He seeks affection, enjoys attention, and shows nothing but trust toward the people trying to help him. It is heartbreaking to imagine such a kind cat sitting alone on a euthanasia list while also suffering from an untreated injury. We are raising funds to help cover Solo’s veterinary care, medications, examinations, diagnostics, and continued treatment as he begins his recovery journey. Please consider donating to help Solo heal. Every contribution gives this deserving boy a chance to recover from his injuries and finally experience the safety and love he has always deserved. 6/7/26 Update Solo is doing so much better. His leg has continued to heal, and he is now putting weight on it and moving around much more comfortably. While he still has some healing to do, the improvement has been remarkable, and we are thrilled with the progress he has made. Even more amazing than his physical recovery is Solo's personality. This handsome boy has completely stolen the hearts of our volunteers. He is an absolute love bug who can't get enough attention. The moment someone stops by his space, Solo melts into their hands for pets, rolls around happily, and eagerly offers his belly for rubs. Despite everything he has been through, he remains incredibly trusting, affectionate, and grateful for every bit of love he receives. Watching Solo transform from an injured cat sitting on a euthanasia list into a happy, playful, attention-seeking sweetheart has been such a joy. The best news of all? Solo is almost ready for adoption! Soon, this deserving boy will be looking for the forever family he has always deserved—a family that will cherish his sweet nature and spoil him with all the belly rubs and affection he loves. While Solo's recovery is progressing beautifully, we are still working to cover the costs of his veterinary care and the many other cats who depend on us for a second chance. If you would like to help Solo cross the finish line and support future lifesaving rescues, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide medical care, shelter, and hope to cats who have nowhere else to turn. 7/28/26 Update Because of your incredible support, Solo's story has become everything we hoped it would be. When Solo first arrived at Adopt a Cat Foundation, he had just escaped euthanasia at an overcrowded municipal shelter. He was frightened, injured, and suffering from a painful bite wound on his front leg that made it difficult for him to walk. Yet even through the pain, he never stopped showing everyone just how loving and affectionate he truly was. Thanks to the compassionate care he received and the generosity of supporters like you, Solo's leg has healed beautifully. He regained his strength, his playful spirit returned, and his sweet personality quickly won over everyone he met. And now we have the news we've all been waiting for... Solo is being adopted this week! After everything he has endured, this incredible boy is finally getting the forever home he has always deserved. He'll soon be leaving behind shelter life for a future filled with love, cozy places to nap, plenty of belly rubs, and a family who will cherish him every single day. Stories like Solo's are only possible because of people like you. Your donations helped provide the veterinary care he needed to recover from his injuries and gave him the opportunity to become healthy enough to find his perfect family. From all of us at Adopt a Cat Foundation, thank you for believing in Solo and giving him the second chance every animal deserves. While this chapter is ending with a wonderful new beginning, there are still many cats waiting for their own chance at a happy ending. Thank you for making Solo's forever home possible.

Alexandria
Help Alexandria Heal After Being Lost and Alone
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Alexandria, a tiny and incredibly sweet cat who somehow found her way back to the shelter that once helped her. Alexandria was recently found outside struggling to survive on her own. Thankfully, when she was scanned for a microchip, it led directly back to our shelter. We do not know how long she had been outside or what happened with her original adopter, but one thing is certain — she is finally safe again. When Alexandria returned to us, we were immediately concerned by how petite and fragile she looked. In fact, she is so tiny that many people mistake her for a kitten. Wanting to ensure she was healthy after whatever she endured outdoors, we performed a full blood panel to make sure her organs and overall health were functioning properly. It quickly became clear that Alexandria had been living with severe dental disease and significant oral pain. She recently underwent a much-needed dental procedure where veterinarians had to remove seven painful teeth to finally give her relief. Dental disease can make it difficult for cats to eat, groom, and comfortably live day to day, and poor Alexandria had likely been suffering silently for quite some time. Despite everything she has been through — abandonment, life on the streets, and painful medical issues — Alexandria remains gentle, loving, and trusting. She deserves the chance to recover safely, comfortably, and surrounded by people who care about her wellbeing. Now we need your help to continue giving Alexandria the care she deserves. Please consider making a donation to help cover Alexandria’s bloodwork, dental surgery, tooth extractions, medications, and ongoing recovery care. Every contribution helps ensure this tiny survivor gets the second chance she deserves. If you cannot donate, sharing Alexandria’s story can help us reach more compassionate supporters. Thank you for helping Alexandria leave pain and uncertainty behind and move toward a future filled with safety, comfort, and love. 7/15/26 Update We are so excited to share the wonderful news that Alexandria's journey has come full circle. Alexandria was able to receive the dental care she so desperately needed. During her procedure, veterinarians removed seven painful teeth, finally freeing her from the chronic discomfort she had likely been living with for far too long. She recovered beautifully from her surgery and quickly showed everyone just how happy and affectionate she truly is once she was no longer in pain. The best news of all? Alexandria has found her forever home! After everything she endured—from being found struggling outside and making her way back to our shelter, to overcoming severe dental disease and recovering from surgery—this tiny sweetheart now has the loving family she always deserved. She no longer has to worry about where her next meal will come from or whether she'll be safe. Instead, she gets to spend her days surrounded by love, comfort, and the security of a place to call home. From all of us, and from sweet Alexandria, thank you for believing that every animal deserves another chance. Because of your support, this little survivor's story now has the happy ending she always deserved.

Tom
Help Senior Cat Tom Get the Care He Needs
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
For over 10 years, Tom survived life the only way he knew how—outside in a cat colony, facing the elements and relying on the kindness of dedicated caretakers. He started out feral, unsure of people and the world around him. But over time, something beautiful happened—Tom learned to trust. He became affectionate. He began seeking attention. He chose connection. When his longtime caretakers sadly passed away, Tom’s future became uncertain. Thankfully, compassionate people stepped in to make sure he wouldn’t be left behind, and Adopt a Cat Foundation welcomed him into rescue so he could finally experience safety and care. Now a senior, Tom should be enjoying a peaceful, comfortable life. But recently, he’s begun to show signs that something may be wrong. He’s slowing down. He’s lost fur on his tail. His skin—especially on his head—has become flaky and irritated. These changes may seem small, but in older cats, they can signal underlying medical issues that need prompt attention. Tom is heading back to the veterinarian for a full exam and bloodwork to determine what’s going on and how we can help him feel better. Whether it’s a manageable skin condition, thyroid issue, or something more serious, early diagnostics are key to giving Tom the best possible outcome. After surviving so many years outside and finally learning what it means to be loved, Tom deserves comfort—not uncertainty. Your donation will help cover the cost of his veterinary visit, diagnostics, and any treatment he may need moving forward. Every dollar helps us ensure that Tom can enjoy his golden years feeling safe, healthy, and cared for. If you can’t donate, sharing Tom’s story helps us reach others who can. Please help us give this once-feral, now-loving senior the care he deserves. 5/15/26 Update Tom recently had his follow-up veterinary visit, and we are so relieved to share some good news with everyone who supported him. His bloodwork came back looking great overall. While he was found to be slightly anemic, the anemia is very mild and does not require treatment at this time. His veterinary team will simply continue to monitor it during future checkups to make sure he stays healthy and comfortable. Even better, Tom has been feeling noticeably better since his visit. His dandruff and flaky skin are already improving, and he seems much more comfortable. After spending so many years surviving outdoors, it means the world to see this sweet senior finally getting the care and attention he deserves. Because of your kindness, Tom was able to receive the diagnostics and veterinary care needed to help him continue enjoying his golden years safely and comfortably indoors. Your support gave this once-feral boy reassurance, relief, and a brighter future. From all of us at Adopt a Cat Foundation—and especially from Tom—thank you for caring about a senior cat who spent most of his life overlooked. Your generosity reminds us that every cat, no matter their age or past, deserves love, comfort, and compassionate care.

Sponge
Help Sponge Heal After Being Saved from the Euthanasia List
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Sponge’s story almost ended before it truly began. This sweet, affectionate boy was living as a community cat when a kind person noticed he was in rough shape and brought him to Animal Care and Control, hoping he would get the help he needed. Instead, Sponge was placed on the euthanasia list—his medical condition simply too severe for the shelter to manage. But Sponge got a second chance. Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in just in time and pulled him to safety. Now, we are doing everything they can to give this loving boy the life he deserves—but he needs your help. Sponge is approximately 3 years old and, despite everything he’s been through, he is incredibly friendly and craves human affection. He truly lives up to his name—soaking up every bit of love and attention from anyone he meets. Sadly, his little body tells a painful story. When he arrived, Sponge was covered in a sticky, gummy substance that couldn’t even be washed off. He has scabbed lesions across his head, neck, and body, likely caused by parasites and environmental allergies. He’s also suffering from painful rodent ulcers in his mouth—chronic, non-healing sores often linked to allergic or immune system issues. In addition, Sponge urgently needs a dental procedure, and likely extractions, to address ongoing pain and infection in his mouth. Sponge’s recovery will require ongoing, consistent medical care, including: \- Steroids to manage inflammation - Flea control to treat underlying causes - Specialized or hypoallergenic diets - A full dental with possible extractions - Continued treatment and monitoring for his skin and oral ulcers Despite all of this, Sponge remains unbelievably loving, trusting, and gentle. He greets people with warmth, leans into affection, and just wants to be close to someone who cares. After everything he’s endured—living on the streets, battling painful conditions, and coming dangerously close to losing his life—Sponge deserves comfort, healing, and a future filled with love. Your donation will help cover his medical care and give him the chance to fully recover. Please help Sponge continue his journey from survival to a happy, healthy life. Every dollar brings him closer to the comfort and care he’s always deserved. 5/15/26 Update We are so happy to share an amazing update on Sponge — and honestly, it’s hard to believe this is the same cat who was once sitting on the euthanasia list, sick, uncomfortable, and running out of time. Today, Sponge looks like an entirely different boy. His skin and coat have improved tremendously, his painful lesions are healing, and he is feeling so much better overall. The transformation has been incredible to witness, both physically and emotionally. Most importantly, Sponge is finally getting the chance to simply enjoy being a cat. He has officially graduated into the main cat room and has settled in beautifully. After everything he endured, seeing him confidently exploring, relaxing, and interacting with people and other cats has been such a rewarding milestone. And one thing about Sponge has never changed: he absolutely loves people. This sweet boy is constantly looking for attention, affection, and someone to love on him. He leans into pets, follows volunteers around, and happily soaks up every bit of kindness he can get. Despite all the pain and hardship he experienced before rescue, Sponge has remained incredibly trusting and affectionate through it all. Because of your support, Sponge was able to receive the medical care, treatment, and monitoring he desperately needed. You helped save a cat who was once considered too sick to help and gave him the opportunity to heal, thrive, and finally feel safe. From all of us at Adopt a Cat Foundation — and especially from Sponge — thank you for believing in him. Your compassion gave this loving boy the second chance he always deserved.

Hamari
After Losing Her Kittens, Hamari Needs Your Help to Heal
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Hamari is just a kitten herself — and she’s already experienced heartbreaking loss. Last Saturday, Adopt a Cat Foundation received a call about a young Snowshoe kitten in need of help. She had been found by a woman’s daughter, but the responsibility of care ultimately fell on the mother. During that time, Hamari slipped outside, became pregnant far too young, and gave birth to three kittens. Tragically, all of her babies passed away within just a day or two. The woman who cared for her said Hamari seemed depressed after losing them — searching and grieving. She wanted more for this sweet girl but was only allowed to have one cat in her home. Knowing Hamari deserved a better life, she reached out for help. When Hamari arrived, she also needed immediate medical attention. She had fleas and required comprehensive veterinary care. So far, Hamari has received: • Spay surgery • FVRCP vaccine • Rabies vaccine • Combo testing • Microchip • Flea treatment • Parasite testing • Full bloodwork But Hamari’s journey didn’t stop there. The day after her spay surgery, she began having trouble breathing and had to be rushed back to the vet. Veterinarians discovered that she had popped an internal stitch and needed an additional procedure to repair it. What should have been a routine recovery turned into another frightening and unexpected complication for this young kitten. These essential services — along with emergency follow-up care — quickly add up, but they were necessary to give Hamari a healthy fresh start. Now, we’re asking for your support to help cover the cost of her care. Hamari has endured loss, stress, and multiple medical procedures in a very short time — yet she remains incredibly sweet and trusting. She’s ready for a second chance, and your donation can help make that possible. Please consider contributing to Hamari’s fundraiser. Every donation — no matter the size — helps us continue rescuing cats like her and providing the medical care they desperately need. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story makes a huge difference too. Together, we can help Hamari leave heartbreak behind and start the happy life she deserves. 5/15/26 Update We are so happy to share the wonderful ending to Hamari’s story — this sweet young girl has fully recovered and has officially been adopted into a loving home of her very own. When Hamari first came to Adopt a Cat Foundation, she had already endured so much heartbreak in her short life. Still just a kitten herself, she had lost all three of her babies and was clearly grieving. On top of that emotional trauma, she needed extensive veterinary care and then faced an unexpected medical complication after her spay surgery that required emergency follow-up treatment. Thankfully, because of your support, Hamari received every bit of care she needed. After her second procedure, she recovered beautifully and slowly began to relax, heal, and show her sweet personality again. The scared and grieving kitten we first met transformed into a playful, loving young cat ready to start over. And now, her fresh start is complete. Hamari has found a wonderful forever family who absolutely adores her. She is now safe, cherished, and finally getting the happy life every kitten deserves. After everything she has been through, there is nothing more rewarding than knowing she will never again have to face fear, pain, or loss alone. From all of us at Adopt a Cat Foundation — and from Hamari herself — thank you for believing in her journey. Every donation, share, and kind word helped turn heartbreak into hope.

Jagger
Sweet Rescue Cat Jagger Can’t Breathe Well — He Needs Diagnostic Testing
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Jagger was never meant to return to life outside. A dedicated community trapper originally brought him in as part of a TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) effort. But the moment she met him, it was clear something was different about Jagger. Instead of acting like a feral cat, he was incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate. He clearly belonged indoors where he could be safe and loved. Knowing he deserved more than a life on the streets, she reached out for help. Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in and welcomed Jagger into rescue so he could begin a new life as an indoor cat. But soon after arriving, it became clear that Jagger wasn’t feeling well. He developed a severe upper respiratory infection (URI) and has been extremely congested. His nose is so stuffed up that you can hear him struggling to breathe through it, and despite treatment, he hasn’t improved. Jagger has already been on antibiotics for more than 20 days, but the infection is stubborn and isn’t responding the way veterinarians hoped. Because of this, Jagger now needs to return to the vet for further diagnostic testing to determine exactly what bacteria or viruses are present in his nasal passages. These tests will help the veterinary team identify the specific cause of the infection so they can choose the right medication and finally give Jagger relief. Without proper treatment, chronic respiratory infections can become long-term health issues for cats, causing constant congestion, discomfort, and difficulty breathing. Despite feeling miserable, Jagger remains the same loving, gentle cat who first convinced his trapper that he deserved a better life. Your donation will help cover: • Follow-up veterinary exams • Diagnostic testing to identify the infection • Lab work to determine the bacteria or viruses present • Targeted medications to treat the URI • Ongoing care while Jagger recovers Jagger was saved from a life outside because someone recognized how special he is. Now we want to make sure he can breathe comfortably and enjoy the healthy indoor life he deserves. Please consider donating to help Jagger get the answers and treatment he needs. Every contribution brings him closer to feeling better. 3/19/26 Update W have great news on Jagger! He fully recovered from his upper respiratory infection and is doing great! He is back in the main cat room with the other cats and even went to an adoption event at a pet store this week! Hopefully he will fond his forever home soon. Thank you for donating and sharing him campaign so he could get the help he needed

Ryder
Declawed Senior Cat Ryder Was Found Struggling Outside — Now He Needs Medical Care
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Ryder never should have been outside. This sweet senior cat was found trying to survive on the streets with all four paws declawed — a heartbreaking and extremely dangerous situation. Declawed cats have no way to properly defend themselves from predators, other animals, or even the harsh realities of life outdoors. Being left outside in this condition is not just unfair — it’s incredibly cruel. When Adopt a Cat Foundation learned about Ryder, we immediately made space for him and brought him to safety. After everything he had already endured, the last thing he deserved was another night outside trying to survive without claws to protect himself. Once Ryder arrived, we quickly scheduled a veterinary visit to evaluate his health. A senior blood panel revealed that Ryder is suffering from hyperthyroidism, a common but serious condition in older cats that can cause weight loss, increased heart rate, and other complications if left untreated. Ryder has now started daily medication to manage the condition, but treatment doesn’t end there. He will need ongoing veterinary visits and repeat bloodwork to monitor his thyroid levels and determine whether his medication dosage is correct. On top of that, Ryder is also battling an upper respiratory infection, which he is currently receiving treatment for as he settles into his safe indoor environment. Despite everything he’s been through — abandonment, surviving outdoors while declawed, and now multiple medical issues — Ryder is safe now. He finally has a warm place to rest and people looking out for him. But his medical care comes at a cost. Your donation will help cover: • Veterinary exams and diagnostics • Senior bloodwork and follow-up thyroid testing • Medication for hyperthyroidism • Treatment for his respiratory infection • Ongoing care as Ryder stabilizes and begins to recover Senior cats like Ryder are so often overlooked, but they deserve comfort, safety, and compassion in their golden years. Ryder survived the streets without the basic tools a cat needs to protect himself. Now that he’s safe, we want to make sure he receives the medical care he needs to feel better and finally enjoy the peaceful life he deserves. Please consider donating to help Ryder receive the treatment and care he needs. Every contribution helps give this gentle senior the second chance he should have had all along. 3/30/26 Update We’re happy to share a positive update on sweet senior Ryder. After everything he’s been through, he is finally getting the chance to rest, recover, and feel safe indoors — and it’s already making a difference. Ryder has started treatment for his hyperthyroidism and is adjusting well to his daily medication. He’s also been receiving care for his upper respiratory infection. The good news is that he is feeling better, and we’re beginning to see improvements in his overall comfort and energy. While he’s not fully recovered from the URI yet, Ryder is heading in the right direction. He’s resting comfortably, eating, and enjoying the calm, warm environment he was denied for far too long. His caregivers are continuing his medications and monitoring him closely as he continues to heal. Senior cats often take a little longer to bounce back, especially after surviving outside — and even more so for a declawed cat like Ryder. But now that he’s safe and receiving consistent care, he finally has the support he needs to recover properly. We’re so grateful to everyone who has helped Ryder so far. Your support has allowed us to start treatment, run diagnostics, and give him the stability he needed. As he continues recovering from his respiratory infection and we monitor his thyroid levels, ongoing support helps ensure he stays on track. Thank you for being part of Ryder’s journey and helping this gentle senior finally experience the comfort, safety, and care he deserves. 4/5/26 Update We’re thrilled to share a wonderful final update on Ryder — he is doing so much better and has fully recovered! When Ryder was first found outside, declawed and trying to survive on his own, we knew he faced incredible odds. A senior cat without claws has no way to defend himself, and it was heartbreaking to imagine how long he had been struggling. On top of that, he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was battling an upper respiratory infection. He had every reason to be exhausted — but Ryder never stopped being gentle and trusting. Thanks to your support, Ryder received the veterinary care he needed, including diagnostics, treatment for his respiratory infection, and medication for his hyperthyroidism. We’re happy to report that his URI has completely resolved, and he is feeling comfortable, relaxed, and finally able to enjoy the safety of indoor life. Even better, Ryder is doing great with his hyperthyroid medication. He takes his daily meds like a champ, and his caregivers report that he has settled into a calm, happy routine. With his condition now well-managed, Ryder is gaining strength, maintaining his appetite, and enjoying the peaceful environment he always deserved. It’s amazing to see the transformation. The cat who once had to struggle to survive outdoors is now resting comfortably, feeling better each day, and living a safe, stable life surrounded by care and compassion. We are so grateful to everyone who donated, shared his story, and helped make his recovery possible. Because of you, Ryder didn’t just survive — he healed. Senior cats like Ryder may come with medical needs, but they are incredibly resilient, and they deserve every chance to feel safe and loved. Thank you for being part of Ryder’s journey and helping give this sweet senior the second chance he always deserved.

Rosie
Help Rosie Eat Without Pain
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Rosie has already beaten so much. When she first walked up from her outdoor colony — frail, congested, with a cloudy eye and struggling to breathe — she gently leaned into the hand of the president of Adopt a Cat Foundation, as if asking for help. And because of you, she received it. With proper medical care, medication, and good nutrition, Rosie transformed. Her eyes grew brighter. Her body filled out. Her energy returned. She began seeking affection, leaning into pets, and showing us the sweet, loving cat she had always been beneath the illness and exhaustion. But during her recent veterinary exam, we discovered something concerning. Rosie’s teeth are in very poor condition — likely the result of age and years of neglect while surviving outside. Infected, painful teeth don’t just cause discomfort; they can lead to systemic infections, organ damage, and chronic suffering if left untreated. Right now, Rosie needs a full dental procedure — and the veterinarian expects multiple extractions. Dental surgery for senior rescue cats is not simple. It requires: • Pre-operative bloodwork • Full anesthesia and monitoring • Dental X-rays • Extractions of diseased teeth • Pain medication and antibiotics • Post-operative care and follow-up For small rescues, these costs add up quickly — but we cannot allow Rosie to live in silent pain. She has already endured years of hardship. She deserves comfort now. She deserves to eat without pain. She deserves to rest without infection brewing in her mouth. She deserves a healthy, pain-free smile before finding her forever home. Rosie trusted us once when she walked out of that colony and leaned into a stranger’s hand. Please help us honor that trust again. Donate today to give Rosie the healthy, pain-free future she deserves — and the bright smile to match her beautiful second chance. 5/4/26 Update We are thrilled to share that Rosie successfully had her dental procedure and has recovered beautifully. After everything this sweet senior girl endured while surviving outside, she is finally no longer living with the pain and infection that had been hiding in her mouth. Thanks to her dental care, Rosie can now eat comfortably, feel better overall, and continue enjoying the healthy second chance she fought so hard for. And the best part? Rosie is absolutely thriving. She has graduated to the free-roaming cat room, where she spends her days doing what she loves most — seeking out volunteers and begging for pets every chance she gets. The once frail colony cat who approached us asking for help has blossomed into an affectionate, attention-loving girl who clearly knows she is finally safe. Because of your generosity, Rosie received the medical care she needed to heal, recover, and move forward into this happy new chapter. Thank you for helping give Rosie comfort, health, and the loving future she always deserved. Your support truly changed her life.

Taj
Sneezing, Congested, and Unwell — Help Taj
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Taj is in the care of Adopt a Cat Foundation, and right now, he needs our help. Recently, Taj began experiencing significant congestion and frequent sneezing — symptoms that raised concern among our volunteers. Because respiratory issues in cats can worsen quickly, Taj was taken to the vet for a full exam and additional diagnostics to determine what’s going on and how best to treat him. While we wait for his test results to come back, Taj has already been started on medications to help relieve his symptoms and keep him comfortable. Once the results are in, his treatment plan may need to be adjusted or expanded depending on what the diagnostics reveal. As a small, all-volunteer rescue caring for many cats in need, unexpected veterinary visits and diagnostic testing add up fast. But getting answers — and acting quickly — is critical to making sure Taj can recover and feel like himself again. Your donation will help cover: \\- Veterinary exam and diagnostic testing - Medications and follow-up care - Any additional treatment Taj may need once results are received Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that Taj gets timely, appropriate medical care and the comfort he deserves while we work toward answers. Thank you for supporting Taj and standing with Adopt a Cat Foundation when our cats need us most. 3/7/26 Update Taj is feeling so much better! Thanks to your help, he was able to get the medications he needed to get over his upper respiratory infection and now he is healthy and happy and back in the main cat room!

Ike
Ike Needs Urgent Dental Care
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Ike has already survived more than most cats ever should. He was found as a stray, missing an eye and living with a pronounced underbite—clear signs of a hard life, the specifics of which we will never truly know. When Ike came into our care, we promised him safety, consistency, and compassion. He’s now been with us for over a year, quietly waiting for a family of his own that, unfortunately, hasn’t come yet. Recently, Ike began showing signs of discomfort while eating. We didn’t wait. He was taken to the veterinarian right away, where it was determined that he needs a dental procedure and the removal of at least one tooth, with the possibility that more will need to be extracted. Dental pain is often invisible, but for cats like Ike, it can be constant and debilitating if left untreated. At 10 years old, Ike deserves comfort. Whether he finds a forever home or continues to live safely in our care, we are committed to making sure he is pain-free and able to eat comfortably. His dental procedure is not optional—it’s necessary for his quality of life. As a small, volunteer-run nonprofit, we rely entirely on donations to cover large medical expenses like this. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Ike’s dental care, anesthesia, pain management, and recovery. Ike has waited patiently for love. Right now, he needs relief. Your donation today helps ensure that this gentle senior can live without pain and continue to feel safe and cared for. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Ike’s story can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can give Ike the comfort and dignity he deserves. 2/12/26 Update Ike had his dental procedure. During surgery, it was determined that nearly all of Ike’s teeth needed to be removed. While that may sound dramatic, for senior cats with advanced dental disease, this is often the very thing that finally brings them relief. And relief is exactly what Ike is feeling. He has already had his first follow-up appointment, and we’re happy to report that everything is healing beautifully. His appetite is fantastic, he’s eating comfortably, and perhaps most telling of all — he is being incredibly sweet and affectionate. It’s clear he feels so much better. Dental pain in cats is often silent and invisible, but it can be constant and exhausting. For over a year, Ike waited patiently for a home while likely managing chronic discomfort. Thanks to your support, he no longer has to. He has one more follow-up appointment before receiving the all-clear to return to the free-roaming main room, where he’ll continue charming everyone with his gentle presence while he waits for his forever family. Because of you, this 10-year-old survivor is now pain-free, comfortable, and thriving. If you are able to donate, we still need to raise funds for Ike's follow-up appointments, which are so important to ensure he- as a senior- is fully healed and ready to be placed back up for adoption.

Rudy
Abandoned and Terrorized: Rudy Needs Our Help
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Rudy’s life changed overnight when the only home he had ever known disappeared. Although he was ear-tipped, Rudy was not a community cat. He belonged to a neighbor who moved away last summer and left him behind. Suddenly abandoned outdoors, Rudy became the target of relentless cruelty. Nearby residents terrorized him—letting dogs loose to chase him, shooting at him, and throwing fireworks whenever they saw him. Day after day, Rudy lived in fear. By the time help arrived, Rudy was deeply traumatized. He was too frightened to enter a standard trap, and it took weeks and specialized equipment to finally get him to safety. When he was brought into care, his fear was overwhelming. Confined to a cage after everything he’d endured, Rudy panicked. He stopped eating, lost significant weight, drooled excessively, and showed clear signs of extreme stress. Veterinary care revealed just how much suffering Rudy had been hiding. He required an extensive dental procedure with the removal of 11 painful teeth and was diagnosed with multiple parasites, including whipworm, hookworm, and coccidia. His body had been fighting for survival for far too long. Following surgery, Rudy was placed into foster care, where he could finally decompress in a quiet, safe environment. Away from the chaos and cruelty, he is beginning the slow process of healing—both physically and emotionally. But his recovery is far from over. Rudy’s medical care, diagnostics, surgery, parasite treatment, medications, and ongoing support come at a significant cost. As a nonprofit rescue, we rely entirely on donations to save cats like Rudy—cats who have been failed, abandoned, and abused through no fault of their own. Rudy survived unimaginable cruelty. Now he needs our help to truly heal. Every donation helps cover the care that saved his life and supports his continued recovery in foster care. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Rudy’s story can make a life-changing difference. Together, we can give Rudy the safety, dignity, and chance at peace he was always denied. 3/7/26 Update We’re happy to share that Rudy is healing really well. After everything he endured before coming into rescue, it’s going to take time for him to feel safe around people—but he is slowly making progress. Rudy is still a very cautious boy, but he has begun allowing his foster to gently touch his head, which is a huge step forward for him. Right now, Rudy needs to be able to see where a hand is at all times, and he isn’t comfortable with pets anywhere else yet—especially on his back. If a hand moves out of his view, it’s still too scary for him. Considering the trauma he experienced, this level of trust is a meaningful milestone. Physically, he continues to recover well from his dental surgery and treatment, and he’s getting the time and quiet environment he needs to decompress. Each day he’s learning that humans can be kind and that he is finally safe. Rudy still has a long road ahead emotionally, but he’s already showing us that he’s trying. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared his story, and supported his recovery so far. Your kindness is giving Rudy the chance to heal at his own pace. 3/19/26 Update We have a very special and deeply meaningful update to share about Rudy. After everything this boy has endured, Rudy is finally home. Todd, the same person who refused to give up on him from the very beginning, will be adopting Rudy. This decision comes from a place of understanding and compassion. While Rudy has made progress in foster care, his trauma runs deep. He has learned to trust \_Todd\_ in a way he hasn’t been able to with anyone else—and for Rudy, that bond is everything. And knowing more about what Rudy went through makes that bond even more powerful. Todd shared that during the very first attempt to rescue Rudy, after he had finally been safely trapped, neighbors found him and did something unimaginable—they swung the trap around, threw it into the air, and let it crash to the ground with Rudy inside. It’s almost impossible to comprehend that level of cruelty. Everything Rudy has shown us since—the fear, the shutdown, the slow and careful steps toward trust—makes sense in the face of that trauma. And yet… he is still trying. Because of Todd’s patience, Rudy has made meaningful progress. He allows gentle touch, he’s learning what safety feels like, and most importantly—he now has a future with someone he knows and trusts. Rudy may never be the kind of cat who is comfortable with everyone—and that’s okay. What matters is that he will never again be alone, hunted, or hurt. He is safe. He is loved. He is home. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared his story, and made his rescue and medical care possible. From his dental surgery to parasite treatment and ongoing support, you gave Rudy the chance not just to survive—but to begin healing. Rudy’s story could have ended in tragedy. Because of you—it didn’t.

Luna
Luna Was Almost Sent Back to the Streets — We Said No 🌙🐾
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Luna is a quiet, gentle soul who spent her life surviving as a community cat. When she began to get sick, kind people stepped in, and a local Facebook group searched desperately for a medical foster. A kind community member opened his heart and his home, agreeing to care for Luna while she fought to heal. But then the unthinkable happened. The group helping Luna ran out of funds. With no rescue backing her care, the plan was to put Luna back outside — sick, vulnerable, and still in need of treatment. That’s when her foster reached out to Adopt A Cat Foundation. We couldn’t let Luna’s story end like that. In rescue, Luna’s battle began with severe mange, which left her uncomfortable and depleted. While that was treated, concerns remained about what else might be affecting her fragile body. During a veterinary visit, liver flukes were suspected, a serious parasitic condition that can cause long-term organ damage if left untreated. Right now, Luna is safe in foster care, finally protected from the dangers of the streets. But safety alone isn’t enough. She still needs ongoing veterinary care, diagnostics, and medication to determine exactly what her body is fighting and to help her truly heal. Luna didn’t choose to be sick. She didn’t choose to live outside. And she certainly didn’t choose to be forgotten when funds ran dry. Your donation will help cover: \\- Veterinary exams and diagnostics - Treatment for suspected liver flukes - Continued medical care while Luna recovers in foster Every contribution helps ensure Luna never has to be pushed back into survival mode again. Please consider donating and sharing Luna’s story. Together, we can make sure Luna’s life is guided by compassion — not circumstance — and that this once-forgotten community cat gets the second chance she’s always deserved. 2/12/26 Update Since coming into our care, Luna has now seen the general veterinarian twice. The encouraging news is that her lab numbers are beginning to come down — a sign that treatment is helping and her body is slowly responding. But with a case as complex as Luna’s, “improving” isn’t the same as “resolved.” Because she came to us with severe mange and suspected liver flukes — and after spending so long surviving outdoors without medical care — we want to be absolutely certain we are not missing anything. Luna deserves more than guesswork. She deserves thorough, specialized care. To ensure we are on the very best path forward, we have scheduled an appointment with an internal medicine specialist. This next step will allow us to dig deeper, confirm her diagnosis, evaluate her liver health more comprehensively, and make sure every piece of her treatment plan is exactly what she needs to fully heal. Luna is safe. She is loved. She is no longer fighting alone. But advanced diagnostics and specialty consultations come at a significant cost. As a small rescue, we rely entirely on donations to say “yes” to care like this. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help cover Luna’s specialist visit, additional testing, and continued treatment. Every dollar brings us closer to answers — and brings Luna closer to lasting health. She was almost returned to the streets when funding ran out. We promised her that would never happen again. Thank you for standing with Luna and ensuring her story continues to be guided by compassion, not circumstance.

Asia
Help Us Keep 20 year old cat Asia Comfortable in His Golden Years
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Asia is a 20-year-old senior cat whose world changed when his beloved caregiver passed away. Asia came to Adopt a Cat Foundation, where he is now deeply loved by volunteers and will spend the rest of his life surrounded by familiar faces and gentle care. Asia is incredibly sweet in his old age. He loves being held and petted, seeks out affection, and gets along well with the other cats in the shelter. He’s one of those special seniors who quietly steals your heart the moment you meet him. Asia has chronic upper respiratory issues which have been managed over time to keep him comfortable. Recently, his symptoms worsened, and he returned to the veterinarian for further diagnostics, including an upper respiratory panel, culture, and senior bloodwork, to help guide the best treatment plan moving forward. Our goal for Asia is simple: comfort, dignity, and quality of life for however much time he has left. Your donation helps cover Asia’s veterinary diagnostics, medications, and ongoing senior care. Because of supporters like you, Asia doesn’t have to struggle—and he never has to feel alone again. Please donate today to help us give Asia the gentle, loving care he deserves in his golden years. 1/7/26 Update We have an update on sweet Asia. After his recent veterinary visit and diagnostic testing, Asia’s nasal culture revealed an E. coli infectio n in his nasal passages. While this sounds alarming, we’re grateful to finally have clear answers — and even more grateful that Asia has already begun antibiotic treatment to target the infection and keep him comfortable. Despite everything, Asia remains the gentle, affectionate soul we all adore. He still seeks out pets and cuddles, enjoys being held, and finds comfort in the familiar faces of the volunteers who love him so dearly. At 20 years old, every day of comfort matters, and having a treatment plan in place is a meaningful step forward. 💛 We still need your help. Asia’s diagnostics, medications, and ongoing senior care come with continued costs. Your donation helps ensure he can receive the treatment he needs and continue spending his days surrounded by kindness, dignity, and love — exactly as he deserves in his golden years.

Fang
FANG HAS BEEN SUFFERING FOR TWO YEARS — NOW HE FINALLY HAS A CHANCE
Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation
For two long years, a community cat known as Fang lived with a painful fractured jaw. A feeder tried to care for him, but she could never catch him… and without medical attention, his injury only grew worse. Today, Fang is finally safe — trapped and rescued by Cathy’s Cats Corporation — but his condition is heartbreaking. This sweet boy is very sick, unsterilized, and in constant pain. His old fracture never healed correctly, and vets believe he now needs major surgery, including: removal of his damaged fang, and a specialized surgical repair of a serious oral–nasal fistula (a hole between the mouth and nasal cavity that can cause infection, chronic pain, and difficulty eating). Despite everything he’s endured, Fang is gentle, scared, and exhausted — but he’s finally in the hands of people who won’t give up on him. Cathy’s Cats is committed to giving Fang the second chance he’s waited two years for, but they cannot do it alone. These advanced surgeries are beyond the rescue’s small budget, and Fang urgently needs help to relieve his suffering. Your donation will directly fund the medical care that will save his life, end his pain, and let him finally heal. No amount is too small — every single dollar brings Fang closer to comfort, safety, and a future without fear.

Ryan
Gentle Senior Ryan Needs Help After Being Found Injured
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Ryan’s story began on a rooftop, where a kind Good Samaritan spotted him alone and afraid. Unsure how he got there or how long he had been struggling, they reached out to Adopt a Cat Foundation for help. The rescue immediately took this senior boy into their care, making sure he was safe, healthy, and brought up to date on vaccines. From the start, Ryan has shown nothing but sweetness. He’s incredibly docile with other cats—so gentle, in fact, that in the free-roaming shelter environment, he often gets picked on. Ryan never fights back. Instead, he cowers, hides, and tries to avoid conflict. This week, volunteers noticed Ryan approaching them with blood on his cheek. No one knows exactly what happened—whether another cat attacked him or if he has a painful issue inside his mouth, possibly dental-related. What we do know is that Ryan needs veterinary care right away. Ryan is heading to the vet this week for a full exam, diagnostics, and any treatment he needs to help him heal and feel safe again. This gentle senior has survived far more than we’ll ever know, and he deserves comfort—not fear. This gentle senior has survived far more than we’ll ever know, and he deserves comfort—not fear. Your support will help cover Ryan’s veterinary exam, diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up care. Every contribution helps ensure Ryan gets the medical attention and protection he desperately needs. For small volunteer-run rescues like Adopt a Cat Foundation, these vet bills add up quickly.

Cadbury
Cadbury survived a brutal animal attack- now he needs your help to heal
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
When Cadbury was brought to the shelter by a caring community cat feeder, his situation was already dire. He had been brutally attacked by another animal—possibly a coyote—and the wounds were so severe that he was placed on the euthanasia list. Shelter staff did what they could, removing the necrotic tissue and stitching his injuries, but Cadbury needed far more care than they were able to provide. That’s when Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in. Refusing to let this sweet boy’s story end too soon, the rescue rushed him into their care and secured an urgent appointment with their trusted private veterinarian. Cadbury will be seen first thing this week to evaluate the extent of his healing needs, continue critical wound care, and receive any additional vetting he still needs. But his journey forward depends on compassionate people like you. Bentley
Help Bentley Get the Medical Answers He Needs
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
This handsome senior boy has been with Adopt a Cat Foundation for several years, and in that time, he has come such a long way. When he first arrived, Bentley kept his distance — unsure of people, unsure of touch, unsure of the world around him. But slowly, with patience and kindness, he began to trust. Today, he happily approaches volunteers, begging for pets, soaking up affection in a way we once never imagined. His transformation is one of the sweetest we’ve seen. But despite all his progress, Bentley has remained overlooked. Recently, volunteers noticed that his third eyelid is suddenly showing, and we don’t yet know why. For a senior cat, any sudden change like this is concerning. Bentley will be going to our vet this week for a full exam and diagnostics so we can understand what’s happening and make sure he gets the treatment he needs. As a small, all-volunteer rescue caring for more than 100 cats, these unexpected medical expenses add up quickly. But Bentley deserves answers — and comfort. Please help us make sure Bentley gets the medical care he needs — and the comfort he’s earned. Update 12/20/25 Bentley was recently losing weight, so our volunteers brought him to the vet for an exam. The cause quickly became clear: Bentley was suffering from significant dental disease that was making it painful for him to eat. He required a dental procedure with several tooth extractions, which greatly increased his veterinary costs. The good news is that Bentley is going to feel so much better now that he’s no longer living with chronic mouth pain. Bentley has been with Adopt a Cat Foundation for several years and has made a beautiful transformation — from a shy, unsure cat to a sweet senior who seeks out affection and loves attention from volunteers. Despite this, he has remained overlooked. As a small, all-volunteer rescue caring for over 100 cats, unexpected medical expenses like Bentley’s add up quickly. Please consider donating to help us cover his increased vet bills and ensure he continues to receive the care he deserves. Every contribution truly makes a difference.

Tom
After Losing His Caregivers, Tom Waited by the Door for Food That Would Never Come
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
For ten long years, Tom lived in a cat colony, relying on the kindness of two devoted caregivers who made sure he was fed every single day. Over time, this gentle senior began to trust people—coming closer, accepting pets, and showing his big, loving heart. But when both of his caregivers sadly passed away, Tom was left heartbroken and hungry. Neighbors found him waiting by the door every day, hoping his friends would return with food that never came. Thankfully, Adopt A Cat Foundation stepped in to make sure Tom would never go hungry again. This sweet boy is now safe at the shelter, where he’s adjusted beautifully. He adores attention from volunteers—and never says no to mealtime! Now that Tom is finally safe, he needs some extra veterinary care to stay healthy. One of his nails has grown very thick, and the rest have become long with extended quicks, making them difficult and painful to trim without professional help. Tom also needs a full senior exam and bloodwork to ensure there are no hidden health issues after his years outdoors. Your support will give this loving senior the comfort and care he’s waited his whole life for. Please help Tom get the vet care he needs to enjoy his golden years pain-free and surrounded by love. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference for this sweet old soul.

Flurry
Help Flurry Fight for Her Chance to Grow Up Healthy
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Tiny Flurry has already beaten the odds once—but she needs your help to keep fighting. Flurry and her brother Domino were heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list at the county shelter because they were suffering from mange and upper respiratory infections. These kittens were just babies, and their lives were nearly cut short before they ever got the chance to begin. Thankfully, Adopt A Cat Foundation stepped in to save them both. Under our care, Flurry’s mange has improved tremendously—but her respiratory infection has lingered. Despite medications and supportive care, her symptoms have worsened, and she’s begun to lose her playful kitten energy, becoming more lethargic and weak. Flurry will be heading to the vet this week for additional diagnostics to determine what’s causing her infection to persist and how we can help her heal once and for all. She’s such a sweet, resilient little soul who deserves the chance to grow up healthy and loved. Your donation will help cover Flurry’s vet visit, diagnostic testing, and the specialized treatment she needs to finally recover. Every gift—no matter the size—brings Flurry one step closer to a happy, healthy life.

Dora
Help Dora Get the Care She Deserves After Surviving the Streets
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Sweet Dora’s story began outside a yoga studio in West Palm Beach, where she was spotted by a kind patron who couldn’t ignore the gentle senior cat lingering nearby. No one knows how long Dora had been living on the streets or what she endured—but it was clear she once belonged to someone. She’s friendly, affectionate, and loves people, the kind of cat who’s used to curling up on a couch, not searching for scraps on the sidewalk. When Dora came into our care, we immediately took her to our veterinarian for a full senior exam and blood panel. Because she’s older, we wanted to make sure nothing serious was hiding beneath her calm demeanor. Dora also showed signs of a urinary issue, which our vet determined was due to inflammation and stress—likely from being lost and scared for so long. She’s now receiving treatment, love, and comfort from our volunteers while we await her lab results. Once we know more, we’ll make sure Dora gets every bit of care she needs to live out her golden years in peace and safety. Leela
Leela is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $250 for Vaccines and Urinary System Diagnostics.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Leela’s story began on the streets where she was found all alone. Thankfully, a kind family took her in and fostered her until a spot opened up at Adopt A Cat Foundation. Now safe in our care, Leela is ready for her next chapter — but she needs your help to get there. Leela is facing some medical challenges. She urgently needs her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, along with an exam and diagnostics for a painful urinary issue that’s making it hard for her to use the litter box comfortably. Despite everything she’s been through, Leela is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She’s still learning to trust fully, but every day she blossoms a little more — purring, cuddling, and showing us the loving cat she truly is. Taj
Taj is a Mix-Breed cat who needs $400 for Bloodwork and Follow up Visits and a Chance
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Taj was rescued from outside a local car dealership, finally getting the safety and care he deserved. But after his routine neuter appointment, his foster noticed something was wrong. Taj’s temperature spiked to a dangerous 104°F. With no visible signs of infection but a rapidly rising fever, he was rushed to the emergency vet late at night, where he received fluids and pain relief to stabilize him. After extensive testing, Taj was diagnosed with Mycoplasma hemofelis: a parasitic infection that attacks red blood cells. According to our vet, the condition had likely been quietly developing, and the stress of surgery brought it to the surface. Taj is now on a 30-day treatment plan that includes regular bloodwork, medication, and ongoing vet visits. He’s showing signs of improvement—but he’s not out of the woods yet. As his medical care continues, the costs are adding up quickly, and we need your help to give Taj the fighting chance he deserves.

Charity
Abandoned starving and with wounds, Charity needed help fast- help her heal
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
When one of our Adopt A Cat Foundation volunteers arrived at her workplace, she never expected to meet Charity — a frail, gentle cat in desperate need of help. Charity had deep marks around her neck, proof that a collar had once been painfully tight… but when she was found, that collar was gone. No microchip. No one looking for her. Just a weary little cat trying to survive. It was clear she needed care right away. Charity was rushed to our trusted vet, where she received fluids and a B12 injection to help with dehydration, antibiotics for a painful wound on her foot, and a full exam. During her stay, Charity even threw up mulch — and the vet confirmed it was indeed mulch. She had likely been eating it in desperation while trying to survive on her own. Her mouth told the story of hardship — she has almost no teeth left, likely from years of neglect. Despite everything she’s endured, Charity is incredibly sweet and gentle. She leans into affection and seems to know she’s finally safe. Her FIV/FELV test came back negative, and now she just needs continued care, good food, and love to regain her strength. Your donation will help cover Charity’s ongoing medical treatment and recovery, giving her the comfort, safety, and love she’s been missing. She’s been through enough pain — let’s show Charity that kindness still exists. Every dollar helps this beautiful girl heal and get one step closer to her forever home. Update 10/22/25 Charity is doing so much better! She’s gained weight, has a great appetite, and absolutely loves attention from our volunteers. Her wounds have healed, and her gentle personality is starting to shine through. After everything she’s endured, it’s amazing to see her growing stronger and more trusting every day. Update 11/7/25 Sweet Charity continues to make progress! She still needs to put on a bit more weight, but her appetite is fantastic — she absolutely loves to eat and never turns down a meal. Recently, she came down with an upper respiratory infection, but she’s responding well to her medication and getting lots of extra TLC from our volunteers. Through it all, Charity’s gentle spirit continues to shine. She adores snuggling, soaking up affection, and being the center of attention whenever someone stops by to visit her. After everything she’s been through, she’s blossoming into the loving, affectionate cat she was always meant to be. Thank you to everyone who’s helped Charity get this far — your support is making all the difference for this resilient little survivor.

Rose
Rose Was Hours from Euthanasia — Then Vets Found a Deadly Obstruction
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Rose was found by a kind person seeking shelter under a car, sick, weak, and struggling to breathe. She had a severe upper respiratory infection and what rescuers call “mosquito nose,” an allergic skin condition from mosquito bites. The good Samaritan did the right thing and brought her to the local municipal shelter so she could get help — but heartbreakingly, the shelter added her to the euthanasia list because of her condition. When Adopt A Cat Foundation saw her urgent plea, we couldn’t let her story end there. We rushed to save her and brought her straight to our trusted veterinarian for care. At first, it seemed her infection was the main issue — but when Rose refused to eat, our vet knew something more serious was happening. Exploratory surgery revealed the shocking cause: a piece of cloth lodged deep in her intestines. We can’t imagine how long she’s been suffering in silence, trying to survive with this painful obstruction The surgery likely saved Rose’s life, but she’s not out of the woods yet. She remains hospitalized while the veterinary team monitors her swelling and irritation from the obstruction. Adopt A Cat Foundation is asking for your help to cover Rose’s emergency surgery and hospitalization costs. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her medical bills so we can give this sweet girl the second chance she so deserves. Update 10/12/25 Rose is finally out of the hospital and back at the rescue—safe, cozy, and surrounded by love. 💕 She’s been soaking up every bit of attention, curling into laps and purring like she never wants to let go. While we’re so relieved to see her home, Rose’s recovery is far from over. She’ll need follow-up appointments and ongoing post-op care to make sure she continues healing properly. For now, she’s still rocking her cone to protect her incision and prevent any setbacks—and she’s handling it like the gentle little trooper she is. Your support means everything as Rose continues to heal. Every bit of help goes directly toward her follow-up care and ensuring this sweet girl gets the healthy, pain-free life she deserves. Update 11/12/25 Rose is thriving! This brave girl has come such a long way—from fighting to survive under a car to now living her best life surrounded by love. She’s officially cone-free and feeling fabulous! Her sweet personality shines brighter every day. Rose absolutely adores people—she’s the first to greet you with head bumps and happy purrs, and she melts into every cuddle. Our vet also shared some wonderful news: based on how great her teeth look, Rose is likely younger than we initially thought!

Honey
Honey Can’t Stop Scratching — He Needs Help to Heal
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
When rescuers first spotted Honey in a cat colony, his white fur gleamed in the sunlight—but that same sunlight was slowly hurting him. White cats like Honey are heartbreakingly vulnerable to skin cancer when left outdoors, and his delicate ears and face already showed signs of painful irritation. A kind community trapper couldn’t bear to see him suffer and reached out to Adopt A Cat Foundation for help. That act of compassion changed everything. Now safe indoors, Honey’s gentle personality is shining through—he’s curious, affectionate, and learning that people can be kind. But his skin and ears are still troubling him. He scratches constantly, and it’s clear he’s uncomfortable. Honey will be going to the vet for a thorough exam, diagnostics, and treatment to finally bring him relief. Despite his rough start, Honey is curious, gentle, and learning to trust. He’s adjusting well to shelter life and is showing us every day that he’s ready to be someone’s beloved companion. But first, he needs to heal. With shelters overcrowded and resources stretched thin, your support means everything. With so many cats in need, every dollar truly counts. Your gift today will help cover Honey’s medical care and give him the comfort, healing, and love he’s been waiting for.

Keekee
Help abandoned Snowshoe kitten Keekee get spayed and find a home
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Keekee is a breathtaking young snowshoe cat whose life almost ended far too soon. She found herself at a rural kill shelter, placed on the euthanasia/rescue pull list—not because she was sick or unlovable, but simply because she wasn’t spayed. With limited resources, the shelter couldn’t provide the care she needed. Before being surrendered, Keekee had been kept outdoors by her previous owners. For white cats like her, the South Florida sun is especially dangerous—causing burns, skin damage, and a higher risk of cancer. Sweet Keekee deserved better than abandonment and danger. Thankfully, Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in to give her the second chance she deserves. Keekee will now receive all of her vetting—her spay surgery, vaccines, and microchip—so she can start fresh with a loving, safe, indoor home. Please donate today to help Keekee on her journey from a rural kill shelter to a forever home. Together, we can make sure this stunning girl never faces abandonment again. Update 10/23/25 Keekee was spayed and received her vaccines and microchip. She was also tested for diseases and parasites and was negative. Thanks to your support, she was able to finish all of her necessary medical care so she could be adopted. A wonderful family came in and fell in love with her and she has headed to her forever home!

Titus
Titus is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $250 for exam, treatment for mosquito nose.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Titus is a stunning, mostly white cat who should have been safe and loved indoors. Instead, he was abandoned outside by his previous owners and left to fend for himself in the harsh South Florida sun. White cats are especially vulnerable outdoors—their delicate skin burns easily, and they often struggle to survive. When a community member noticed how badly Titus’s nose was suffering and reached out for help, Adopt a Cat Foundation immediately agreed to take him in. By then, his nose was already raw and inflamed from relentless mosquito bites. With his light fur and a likely allergy to the bites, he had developed what rescuers call “mosquito nose”—a painful condition that causes dermatitis. This week, Titus will see our veterinarian for a full exam and the medication he needs to reduce the swelling, soothe his skin, and heal the potential secondary bacterial infection. Titus has already endured so much, but with your help, his story doesn’t have to end in pain. Donations to Titus’s campaign will go directly toward his exam, medication, and ongoing care as he recovers and learns what it means to finally be safe and loved.

Peaches
Peaches is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $600 for exam, diagnostics, bloodwork.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
When Adopt a Cat Foundation first met Peaches, a sweet calico girl, she was on the euthanasia list at a rural kill shelter. Why? Because she was obese, and the shelter simply didn’t have the resources to help her safely lose the weight she needed. For Peaches, that was almost a death sentence. Thankfully, Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in and gave her a second chance. With a loving foster home and a veterinarian’s carefully tailored feeding plan, Peaches is now being monitored closely to ensure she sheds pounds safely. This is especially important for cats—losing weight too quickly can cause a dangerous condition called hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver disease). But just as Peaches was settling into her new life, another obstacle appeared. Her foster noticed wetness and discharge on Peaches’ fur. Worried it was a UTI, she rushed her to the vet. The truth was even harder: due to her weight, Peaches had developed painful dermatitis on her belly where her skin folds. The infection had gotten so bad it was oozing. Peaches is now receiving medication to heal the infection and reduce inflammation. Peaches didn’t deserve to be abandoned, and she certainly doesn’t deserve to lose her second chance because of medical bills. With your help, we can make sure she continues to receive the treatment and monitoring she needs to heal and thrive. Update 10/29/25 Peaches is doing so much better! She’s losing weight at a healthy, steady rate and feeling more comfortable every day. Her skin has improved, her energy is up, and her foster says her personality is shining through more than ever. Peaches didn’t deserve to be abandoned, and she certainly doesn’t deserve to lose her second chance because of medical bills. With your continued support, we can make sure she stays on the path to full health and happiness — proving that every cat, no matter their size or past, deserves love and hope.

Artemis
Help Artemis Breathe Easy Again
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Artemis is one of Adopt a Cat Foundation’s cherished permanent residents. She came to us feral, and because of her partial blindness and chronic health challenges, she will spend her life safe and cared for in our shelter. She may not be adoptable, but she is deeply loved. Recently, Artemis experienced a severe flare of her chronic upper respiratory condition. She was struggling to breathe, so we rushed her to the vet immediately. There, she received fluids, an antibiotic injection, and a B12 injection. The vet also ran diagnostic tests, including senior bloodwork and an upper respiratory PCR panel, to determine exactly which bacteria or virus is making her sick. Thanks to this care, Artemis is already breathing more comfortably and showing signs of improvement. But her diagnostics and treatment come at a cost, and as an all-volunteer rescue, we can only continue to provide this level of care with your support. Every gift ensures we can keep her safe, comfortable, and thriving despite her chronic health struggles. Artemis may never know life in a home, but with your help, she will always know love, dignity, and the best medical care possible. Update 10/24/25 Our brave girl Artemis is still battling congestion, despite ongoing nebulizer treatments and antibiotics. She’s been such a fighter through it all, but her breathing hasn’t improved as much as we hoped. Because Artemis can be quite fractious, vet visits are stressful and challenging for her—but we may need to take her back soon for another exam and additional diagnostics. We’ll do whatever it takes to help her feel better and breathe easier again. Thank you to everyone who’s been supporting Artemis—your kindness truly keeps us going as we fight for her health and comfort. Update 11/20/25 We are so happy to share some much-needed good news about our sweet Artemis. After weeks of congestion, nebulizer treatments, antibiotics, and constant monitoring, she has finally turned a corner. Her congestion has broken, her breathing is much clearer, and she’s been feeling noticeably more comfortable. Best of all, Artemis is now back in the free-roaming room with her cat friends — a place where she feels safe, confident, and content. Seeing her reconnect with her familiar buddies, relax in her favorite spots, and enjoy some gentle social time has been such a relief for all of us who love her.

Leona
Leona is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $200 for neuter, vaccines, combo test.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Leona is the third nearly identical cat we've rescued after being abandoned outside a Family Dollar store. Just like her lookalike brothers or cousins before her, Leona was left behind— unvetted and unprotected. But now she’s safe with Adopt a Cat Foundation, and we’re committed to giving her the fresh start he deserves. Leona is sweet, curious, and ready for a better life—but before she can be adopted, she’ll need a full round of veterinary care. That includes her spay surgery, vaccines, and a triple combo test for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. None of this is optional—it’s the essential care every cat needs before they can safely and responsibly go to a forever home. Adopt a Cat Foundation is an all-volunteer rescue currently caring for over 70 cats. We receive no government funding and operate solely on donations. Our vet bills are growing quickly, and every new rescue—like Leona—adds to the urgent need. But we believe every cat is worth saving, even when it stretches our resources to the limit. With your support, we can give Leona the medical care she needs and open the door to the loving home she’s been waiting for. Every dollar helps us get one step closer to that goal—not just for Leona, but for the many cats just like him who are counting on us. Update 9/15/25 Leona was spayed and vaccinated and tested negative for FIV, FELV, and heartworm. She is recovering and will be available for adoption soon!

Mishu
Help Mishu get the care he never received, so he can get adopted and live the life he deserves
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Mishu—a young, strikingly beautiful Snowshoe cat with ice-blue eyes, soft markings, and a personality as friendly as they come. He recently showed up at a community cat feeding station, and it was clear right away: Mishu didn’t belong outside. He wasn’t feral or fearful—he was affectionate, gentle, and clearly confused. A dedicated feeder and trapper spotted him and knew he had likely been abandoned, something we’re sadly seeing far too often these days. Now, Mishu is safe with Adopt a Cat Foundation, and we’re getting ready to help him take the next big step: a fresh start. But first, he needs vet care. Since he’s not neutered and has likely never been vetted, he’ll need a full medical workup—including neuter surgery, vaccines, and a combo test for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm—before he can be made available for adoption. Mishu didn’t choose to be abandoned, but thanks to compassionate people like you, he will get to choose a future filled with warmth, love, and security. Every dollar you give goes directly toward giving Mishu the care he needs to begin his next chapter.

Lucky
Lucky is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $500 for diagnostics and treatment for Herpes flare.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Lucky has been with Adopt a Cat Foundation for several years. He’s a sweet, resilient boy who lives with chronic feline herpesvirus—a condition that causes frequent respiratory flares. Most days, he’s a little sneezy and snotty, but always full of love and personality. Unfortunately, this week Lucky took a turn for the worse. He’s currently experiencing the most severe flare-up we’ve ever seen. He’s extremely congested, visibly uncomfortable, and his third eyelid is showing—an indication of how unwell he truly is. Right now, Lucky is receiving around-the-clock care. He’s on medication, getting regular nebulizer treatments to help ease his breathing, and will be seeing our vet this week to determine how best to support him through this intense episode. Despite everything, Lucky continues to fight—just like he always has. His chronic condition has sadly made it difficult for him to find a forever home. But Lucky has a permanent place here at the rescue, and we’re committed to giving him the care and comfort he deserves for as long as he needs it. ** UPDATE 9/8/25** Lucky went to the vet, who said that herpesvirus infection can sometimes trigger a severe inflammatory response, or inflammation may spread from the eye to the middle ear, damaging the nerves that then cause the third eyelid to protrude. Lucky is now receiving daily antiviral medication for a few weeks to treat the underlying herpes flare. Update 10/11/25 Thanks to your generosity, Lucky was able to see an eye specialist, who confirmed that he had Horner’s syndrome, a neurological condition that caused his third eyelid to show. He continued his antiviral medications — and we’re so happy to share that his third eyelid has now fully receded and returned to normal! This incredible progress wouldn’t have been possible without the love and support of everyone who donated and shared Lucky’s story. From all of us — and from Lucky — thank you for believing in his recovery. While his eye is healing beautifully, Lucky will always need a little extra care and understanding throughout his life. He’s come such a long way, and we know he would truly thrive in a forever home where he can continue to heal both physically and emotionally. Your kindness gave Lucky a second chance — and your continued support ensures he gets the care he still needs. His medical expenses have been extensive, and every donation helps cover the costs of his ongoing treatment and follow-up care. ❤️ Please consider donating today to help Lucky continue his healing journey.

Misty
Misty is a 12 year old Siamese in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $345 for exam and treatment for upper respiratory infection.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Misty, a sweet senior cat who has faced a lot of change in her life recently. When her elderly human had to move to assisted living, Adopt a Cat Foundation agreed to give Misty a safe place to stay. Misty has corneal scarring, and her vet believes she may be fully or partially blind in one eye. Recently, Misty became lethargic, congested, and stopped eating. A trip to the vet revealed a serious upper respiratory infection, which she is now being treated for. Senior cats don’t bounce back as quickly as younger cats, and this treatment requires careful monitoring and supportive care. A shelter is no place for a senior cat like Misty. She needs a calm environment and a loving home where she can rest, heal, and feel secure. Adopt a Cat Foundation is committed to giving her the medical care she needs and helping her find the perfect forever family once she is feeling better. Despite her challenges, she’s a loving and gentle cat who deserves comfort, care, and a quiet place to feel safe. Every donation brings us closer to giving Misty a second chance at a happy, comfortable life.

Sharon
Sharon is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in West Palm Beach, FL, who needs $1,000 for surgery to remove mammary glands.
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Sharon, a sweet senior cat with a heart full of love and resilience. Sharon has already survived mammary cancer once, and she fought hard to come back stronger. Her spirit and gentle nature have inspired everyone at Adopt a Cat Foundation, and we are determined to give her the care she needs to thrive. Recently, we discovered another mammary tumor forming, and her vet recommends a full mammary gland removal to prevent the cancer from returning. This surgery is crucial for Sharon’s health, but it comes with significant costs—costs that we cannot cover without your help. Sharon may be a senior, but she still has so many joyful years ahead. She loves gentle pets, curling up in cozy spots, and showing affection in her quiet, loving way. Her courage and sweetness are reminders that age is just a number—and that every cat deserves a chance to live fully and happily. Adopt a Cat Foundation is committed to providing Sharon with the medical care she needs, and we hope to help her find a forever home where she will be cherished. With your support, we can give Sharon the gift of more time, comfort, and love. Update 10/29/25 Sharon underwent surgery to remove new mammary tumors. Her biopsy results confirmed that the tumors were stage 2 cancer. While we don’t know what her life expectancy will be, we’re focused on making sure every day she has left is filled with love, safety, and peace. Our biggest hope now is to find her a fospice (foster hospice) home where she can live out her days surrounded by warmth and affection — instead of spending them in the shelter. Sharon would do best as an only cat, which has made it difficult to find someone able to take her home. But we know there’s someone out there with room in their heart for this gentle soul. Your continued support makes it possible for us to care for Sharon and other seniors like her. Every donation helps cover her ongoing medical care, comfort, and the love she needs as she faces this next chapter.

West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Sweet Sunny has always been a shy boy. Most of the time, he prefers to keep to himself and finds safety in hiding, quietly watching the world Sweet Sunny has always been a a distance. But even the most reserved cats have ways of telling us when something is wrong—and Sunny’s caretakers noticed the signs. He wasn’t grooming as well as before, and his gentle spirit seemed weighed down by discomfort. Abaco
Left in a Box in 98°F Heat—Abaco Needs Us Now
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Some people go to unimaginable lengths just to avoid doing the right thing… Abaco, a young cat barely 10 months old, was cruelly dumped at Adopt a Cat Foundation’s shelter on a blistering 98°F Florida day. Stuffed in a box with a flannel blanket, left in a corner of the parking lot just out of view of the shelter’s cameras, his abandonment was cruel and intentional. By sheer luck, volunteers were on-site taking out the trash when they discovered the box—a little less than an hour after Abaco had been left to suffer in the suffocating heat. He was soaked and terrified. At first, volunteers wondered if it was just from stress… but the next day he began vomiting bile. Whether his previous owners dumped him because he was already sick—or he became sick from being left in the sweltering heat—we’ll never know. What we do know is that Abaco urgently needs medical care. When he first arrived, Abaco was fractious and terrified—traumatized by what he’d endured. After just 24 hours of gentle care and safety, he has already begun to melt into the loving, sweet boy he truly is. Abaco didn’t deserve to be treated like trash—and now he’s counting on us to make sure his story has a happy ending. UPDATE 8/9/25 Abaco thankfully stopped throwing up and his vet exam went very well. His bloodwork is great and he is healthy and young. Now all he needs is to get neutered, dewormed, and finish his vaccines.

Anson
Help Turn Tragedy Into a New Beginning for Anson
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Adopt A Cat Foundation is heartbroken to share the story of Anson, an older orange cat whose life was turned upside down after a tragic loss. Anson was part of a community cat colony lovingly cared for by a woman named Jen, who fed over 20 outdoor cats every single day for more than 10 years. Jen was a quiet hero—dedicated, compassionate, and completely devoted to the cats she considered family. Tragically, Jen recently passed away alone in her home, where she was not found for nearly a week. During that time, her beloved cat colony was left without food or care. To make matters even more heartbreaking, Jen had lost her partner, Anson, just eight months earlier—leaving the colony suddenly and completely without its protectors. One cat in the colony stood out for his friendliness, but he clearly needed help. Adopt A Cat Foundation stepped in to rescue this sweet boy, who had gone without food during the week following Jen’s passing. He is thin, struggling with obvious dental disease, and in need of urgent veterinary care. In Jen’s honor, the foundation named him Anson, after her late partner. Anson is hospitalized, gaining strength before he can undergo urgent dental care. His medical needs are growing fast. Please donate today to help Anson heal—and to honor Jen’s legacy of compassion for the cats she loved.

Buddha
Buddha’s Belly Hurts — Help Her Find Peace
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Buddha, a tiny kitten with a belly big enough to break your heart. When a litter of kittens was brought to Adopt A Cat Foundation, they were all small, scared, and in need of love. But one of them stood out right away — a sweet little girl with a round, bloated tummy, constant crying, and desperate food guarding. Right now, Buddha is in distress. She’s been seen by two veterinarians, undergone an X-ray that showed no clear answers, and received multiple enemas to relieve painful constipation. Though she is finally passing stool, her belly remains uncomfortably large and hard, and her anus is inflamed and painful. Despite these efforts, she continues to cry out in discomfort. With no conclusive diagnosis and her condition persisting, Adopt a Cat Foundation has been advised to consult with an internal medicine specialist for more advanced diagnostics. This next step could involve ultrasounds, contrast imaging, blood panels, and more — all crucial to getting to the root of Buddha’s suffering. But these services come at a steep cost. Please consider donating, sharing Buddha’s story, and helping Adopt A Cat Foundation give her the specialist care she urgently needs. Together, we can give Buddha the peaceful future her name so beautifully promises. Update 8/9/25 After a few visits to the Internal Medicine Specialist and tweaking Buddha's protocol of medication and food, they determined that she did not need to procedures they originally anticipated! We are so happy that Buddha has improved so much without having to undergo the uncomfortable and long-term stretching procedures we were anticipating.

Sparrow and Robin
Help Sparrow & Robin Soar to a Bright Future: Support Their Journey to Healing and Happiness
Fort Lauderdale, FL • Operation Liberation
Operation Liberation received a heart-wrenching request from one of their vet contacts who reached out to them for urgent help. Two sweet, friendly kittens, just under two months old, were brought into the clinic by a client who wanted to euthanize them. The reason? These precious babies deserve so much more. They immediately stepped in to offer them a chance—a chance for healing, happiness, and a full life ahead. Despite their current condition, these kittens have the kindest souls and are full of life. They’ll each need one eye removed (a procedure called enucleation), we’re confident they will thrive. Kittens recover quickly from this surgery, and after a little time to heal, they’ll be ready for a bright future. At the same time, they will be spayed, ensuring their health and preventing future struggles. Despite the challenges they’ve faced, Sparrow and Robin have shown nothing but courage and resilience, and they’re doing so well in their healing journey. But that’s not all—these precious kittens even had the chance to meet with a potential adopter! The meeting went wonderfully, and they are now eagerly waiting to see if they’ve found their forever home.

Daphne
A Sweet Kitten in Need: Help Daphne Get the Care She Deserves
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Adopt A Cat Foundation recently welcomed a sweet kitten named Daphne into their care after receiving a message from someone in the community. They explained that they had been gifted a kitten but were unable to keep her due to allergies. At first, the photos they shared showed a healthy kitten. However, when Daphne arrived, Adopt A Cat immediately noticed signs of a skin condition — she was scratching and had lost fur around her ears and face. They suspect she may have a parasite, and they're taking her to the vet this week for tests and treatment. While they were told Daphne was healthy, this unexpected vet visit and care come with additional costs, and they're reaching out for your support to ensure she gets the treatment she needs. Though Adopt A Cat is disappointed by the misinformation they were given, they're so glad they could step in and give Daphne the chance to heal. Any help you can offer would mean the world to them and to Daphne as they help her on the road to recovery. Update 2/20/25: Today, Daphne visited the vet, and after a thorough examination, the best course of action was to run skin scrapes and a culture to determine the exact cause of her skin issues. Sadly, both of her ears were also infected. Due to her condition, it is likely she is from a backyard breeder. She also needs to be spayed and vaccinated. Adopt a Cat is determined to get Daphne all the care she needs to be healthy and give her the life she deserves. Update 3/11/25: Today, Daphne had to return to the vet for another round of tests, as she's still struggling with some ongoing health issues. She underwent a cytology test, an ear flush, and a skin scrape, all in the hope of finding answers and bringing her some relief. We’re staying positive that these results will shed light on what’s going on and help us get her back to feeling her best. Your continued support means the world to us, and Daphne is incredibly lucky to have such a caring community behind her. We’ll keep you all posted as we learn more and continue her journey toward healing. Thank you for being part of her story. Update 4/19/25: Despite ongoing treatment and countless tests, sweet Daphne’s skin issues continue to be a challenge. Her care team is now giving her medicated baths twice a week to help soothe her discomfort, and she's been referred to a veterinary dermatologist specialist. We’re crossing our fingers they can see her soon! Through it all, Daphne remains the same loving, gentle soul we’ve all come to adore. Her resilience is inspiring, and she continues to be a volunteer favorite. Update 4/24/25: Daphne's condition has worsened recently: her little face and eyes have become so crusty that she can barely open them, and most of the fur on her ears is now gone. Despite trying so many different treatments, nothing seemed to make a lasting difference. But there's hope on the horizon! Daphne went to a veterinary dermatologist who took a deep dive into Daphne’s case and has created a brand new treatment plan tailored just for her. She's now on a new set of medications and a special prescription diet designed to help with any food allergies that may be worsening her skin. While it's going to take some time, we're finally feeling like we're headed in the right direction. Daphne, as always, is being such a trooper through it all—purring and cuddling when she can, even on her hardest days.

Maverick
Healing Maverick’s Smile: Help Cover the Costs of His Dental Surgery
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Maverick is a brave 3-year-old domestic shorthair with a big heart. He’s a survivor of the harsh realities faced by many cats in rural shelters, where resources are limited and lives are often cut short. Maverick was slated for euthanasia at one of these shelters simply because he was an FIV-positive cat, but thanks to the compassionate team at Adopt a Cat Foundation, he was pulled to safety. Over the past few weeks, Adopt a Cat noticed that Maverick, who had always been so sweet and gentle, started showing signs of discomfort while eating. His normally playful demeanor seemed dimmed by pain. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that his gums were severely inflamed and red, a sure sign of dental disease. Maverick underwent dental surgery, and thanks to the skilled veterinarians, his x-rays revealed some good news: his teeth’s roots were healthy, and none of his teeth needed to be removed. He underwent a deep cleaning, and hopefully he will recover quickly and be back to his loving, playful self very soon. But while Maverick’s surgery was a success, the medical costs were steep, and Adopt a Cat Foundation needs your help to cover the bill. They take in cats others overlook and give them a chance to thrive. Please consider making a donation to Maverick’s care and recovery!

Asia
Asia’s Golden Years: Providing a Senior Cat the Comfort and Care He Deserves
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Asia—a sweet, 19-year-old senior cat with a heart full of love and a life story that tugs at the heartstrings. Asia's journey has been anything but easy, but through it all, he has shown remarkable resilience and a deep bond with those who care for him. Asia was brought in by a Good Samaritan, who stepped in when his dad, the only person who had cared for him since kittenhood passed away. Asia spent much of his life outdoors with several other cats, so dental care was not something he ever received. Sadly, that led to painful dental disease, with multiple teeth that needed to be removed to give him relief. At 19 years old, Asia is in his golden years, so we had to take extra precautions before proceeding with any medical procedures. We conducted an EKG and pro-BNP blood work to ensure Asia's heart was healthy enough to undergo anesthesia, and we are thrilled to report that everything came back clear! Thanks to this careful assessment, we were able to proceed with his much-needed dental work. The expenses for Asia’s treatment have been significant. By helping cover the costs of his treatment, you will be providing Asia with the chance to live out his days in comfort, free from pain, and with the love and attention he so deserves.

Socks
A Senior Cat’s Struggle: Give Socks the Care and Love He Deserves!
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Sometimes, the road to recovery for an animal isn't as simple as a quick visit to the vet. It's a journey that takes patience, love, and a whole lot of heart. That’s exactly what Socks, a sweet senior cat, needs right now. Socks was found outside, clearly struggling and gravely ill. The kind soul who discovered him reached out to multiple shelters and rescues for help, but unfortunately, no one could assist. Thankfully, Adopt A Cat stepped in when others couldn’t. When Socks arrived, he was lethargic, anemic, and showing signs of infection. His blood work confirmed that something was terribly wrong. He was drinking and urinating more frequently than usual, which are all telltale signs of a deeper issue. The vet confirmed Socks has diabetes. But there’s more: Socks’ teeth are in terrible condition, and once his blood sugar is under control, he will need a dental procedure to address the pain and infection in his mouth. Socks is a fighter, but his fight isn’t over. Please help Adopt a Cat provide the crucial treatment Socks needs to be happy and healthy. Every senior cat deserves a second chance and Socks has a lot of life left in him!

Mercedes
Help Mercedes Get the Dental Care She Deserves and Smile Again
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Mercedes is a stunning 3-year-old cat with a heart full of love, but she’s been battling a painful condition that has turned her daily meals into a struggle. Mercedes has suffered from stomatitis for a while, which is a severe inflammation of her mouth that makes eating excruciating. She’s been to the vet for dental work before, but her pain persists. She growls at the chunks of wet food, pawing at her mouth in frustration. It’s clear that something wasn’t addressed in her previous treatments. The vet believes there are still roots left behind from her prior dental procedures, and she likely needs the rest of her teeth removed to find relief once and for all. Mercedes has an upcoming visit where she’ll undergo a comprehensive dental procedure to finally resolve her stomatitis. However, specialized dental care is expensive, and Adopt a Cat Foundation needs your help to cover the cost of Mercedes’ treatment. Your donation can make all the difference in giving this sweet girl the chance she deserves to live pain-free. Please consider donating today to help Mercedes heal. Every little bit brings her closer to a brighter, healthier future. She’s counting on you! Update 12/20/24: Mercedes had her dental today and the vet's initial suspicions were correct: Mercedes had many roots remaining, which made eating extremely painful. There were a few additional teeth that needed to be removed as well. With all of these gone, Mercedes should start feeling much better very soon! Update 12/21/24: Mercedes is doing amazingly well after her dental procedure! It's clear she already feels so much better and is * finally excited to eat (just look at her munching in the video! *). While her mouth still needs some time to heal, she's definitely on the right track! However, her substantial bill remains, and any donation would be greatly appreciated to help Adopt a Cat Foundation continue supporting Mercedes on her journey to full recovery. Update 1/16/25: Mercedes had a bit of a set back. She went in for a recheck because she was still experiencing pain and received pain and antibiotic injections. Hopefully she will be back to her normal self soon!

Sherman
"Sherman’s Smile Starts Here: Support His Surgery and Recovery
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
When Sherman, a 3-year-old cat, came to the Adopt a Cat Foundation, he was drooling excessively and struggling to eat. Despite having undergone dental work previously, his symptoms persisted, leaving him in a constant state of misery. Adopt a Cat took Sherman to a different veterinary clinic for a second opinion and a thorough examination and dental x-rays. What they found explained everything—his previous dental procedure had left behind old roots beneath his gums, which were causing him significant pain and preventing him from healing properly. The veterinary team removed 20 of his teeth, along with the leftover roots that had been overlooked. Thanks to this life-changing procedure, Sherman is on the road to recovery. Without the constant pain in his mouth, he can now look forward to eating comfortably and living his best life. However, Sherman’s care has been costly, and Adopt a Cat needs your help to cover the expenses of his dental surgery and ongoing recovery. Please consider donating today to help Sherman heal and thrive. Update 12/21/24: Sherman is doing so much better after his dental! He is excited to eat and it is clear his pain is receding, if not gone. Sherman is still early in his recovery but so far he is doing incredibly well! Update 2/1/2025: Unfortunately, Sherman had to go back to the vet. He is continuing to have inflammation even after the dental and removing his teeth. He was put on medications to hopefully help decrease the inflammation.
